I take off the blindfold. Whoops. There were shards of glass strewed around the floor. I breathe heavily and quickly. I see everyone was looking at me concerned. Heck, I would be to if this happened to someone else, but so far it only has happened to me. I feel something sliding down my face.

I move my hand around it. I look at it. Blood. I must've hurt myself. Heh, finally I'm hurt because of someone other than Val. I look at my arms, there were a couple of cuts and some bruises. 

"Varian, are you okay?" Dad said. 

He reached his hand out. I back away. Please. Don't touch me. I can't stand it anymore. I keep breathing. 

"Okay, everyone party's over. Can we have the room?" Eugene asked.

Everyone nodded and quickly exited. I shakily stood up. 

"Way to go Fitzherbert." Cass glared at him.

"Okay, okay, okay. Maybe a heart shaped pinata wasn't such a good idea." He said.

Yeah, it really wasn't. 

"Varian, we need to talk. We met with Valentino." Dad said. 

I look at him with wide shaky eyes. You're kidding? I let out a sigh.

"I suppose you know what I did. I-I was desperate. Not to mention they were his ideas for kidnapping the queen and me doing all that shit." I say.

"It's okay Varian." Rapunzel said.

I see a small glow. I take out the ornament crystal. Uh-oh. It was glowing red. I let out a breath. Oh god now I'm in for it.

"It's about to get worse for me." I say standing up.
