(Warning: Very Very Long Chapter)

Excitement was all I was feeling right now, after thousands of years Rose Quartz was going to go on trial.

"Are you ready Y/n?" Blue asked me

I smiled at her.

"Yes I am"

She smiled and held out her palm for me to sit on.

"I'm glad you are" Yellow told me.

"All rise for the luminous Yellow Diamond" I heard Yellow's Pearl introduced.

"The lustrous Blue Diamond and the dazzling Purple Diamond" Blue's Pearl said.

Then we were teleported into the trial room.

Yellow had her fingers pressed together to form a diamond while Blue lead her head on Yellow's shoulder and I sat in her palm with my head down I couldn't help but smile in excitement.

We opened our eyes and stared at the Zircons, who immediately saluted.

My smile faded as I looked around for Rose Quartz but only to see Steven.

'Oh, my stars! What is Steven doing here? Isn't Rose Quartz should be here?'

Blue pulled me closer to her chest and looked around for Rose Quartz.

"Where is the accused?" She asked.

"Is that Rose Quartz? Look at this hideous form she has taken. Forget the trial we should shatter her for just looking like that" Yellow remarked

I was beyond confused with what's happening right now but I decided to bite my tongue.

"No. I want to hear her make her case. I want to know what she thinks we're going to do with her. Because I want to do something worse" Blue said glaring at Steven and making him gulp.

"Fine let's just get it over with this shall we" Yellow said as she summoned three thrones.

Blue rest me near her armrest where I have my own human-size throne on a pillar.

" My Diamond. My brilliant, opulent, radiant glimmering-"

"My Diamond will suffice or we will never get through this" Yellow cut in.

"Of course"
Yellow Zircon then cleared her throat before beginning.

" Rose Quartz committed a crime. So unprecedented that one can't help but wonder why? Exhibit A"
With that Yellow Zircon snapped her fingers and a human appeared.

"Lars!" Steven called out.

" Steven? What's going on here? Where are we-" Yellow Zircon snapped her fingers once again and a bubble appeared around the human's head.

"As we can see from this 'specimen' humans are loud, absolutely hideous creatures that serve no purpose whatsoever and what sort of gems would turn their back on their own kind for this? I'll tell you what kind? That kind" She said pointing at Steven.

"Just let him go. He's got nothing to do with this" Steven pleaded.

"There it is. The passion! The Fury! That cause the diabolical  Rose Quartz to...Shatter her own Diamond" Zircon continued on

" I know what you're thinking. This doesn't look like a Rose Quartz and for that I would like to call an eye witness"

Then a Ruby guard came out from the ground on a pillar.

"Oh Eyeball" Steven called nervously.

"Do not address me war criminal!"

"I'm just glad you're okay" Steven murmured.

" I heard it straight from her. She said 'I'm the mighty Rose Quartz I've got her shield and everything'" The Ruby Guard said imitating Steven.

"And then. She threw me. Into space!"

"I tried to help you! And I healed your gem!" Steven said.

"And who else has the ability to heal gems other than a villainous Rose Quartz" Yellow Zircon explained as the Ruby guard slowly went back down.

"And there you have it. Rose Quartz did it and that's Rose Quartz. I rest my case"

"Oh. She's good" Blue Zircon complemented.

Yellow clapped her hands together.

"Well I'm convinced time to execute"

"Not yet. The defensive still has to speak" Blue said as everyone looked at Blue Zircon.

"Well um, may I remind the court that Rose Quartz did turn herself in" Blue Zircon reminded.

"The court remembers and the courts does not care" Yellow said sharply.

Blue Zircon continued to defend Rose Quartz- I mean Steven until he admitted he was Rose Quartz and how he shattered Pink Diamond, Blue Zircon tried to stop him but Blue wanted to hear what he had to say.

My heart fell at the confession but some part of me didn't believe that he did it.

Then the pillar Steven was standing on started to rises.

"State your name for the record please" Yellow's Pearl asked.

"I- um. I am Rose Quartz" Steven said raising his shirt to show his gem.

I was surprised that he was a half gem like me.

"Wait no don't say that" Blue Zircon plead but Steven carried on.

"Everything you guys said I did I did and I did it by myself. I'm sorry I'll accept any punishment you want to give me just let him go" he said pointing to Lars.

"And leave the Earth alone"

Then Yellow laughed.

"Sounds like a solid confession to me"

"Why?" I asked.

Steven looked at me confused.

I then leapt to his pillar and kneeled down to his level. I pulled off my hood, tears in the corner of my eyes and looked him straight in the eyes.

"Why did you shatter my mother? What did she ever do to you to deserve that? did it not have a peaceful way to end the war?" I asked him.

He looked away for me.

"I- I don't know maybe- maybe that was the only way to end the war" He replied.

I lowered my head, my hair cast a shadow over my eyes.

"That wasn't the answer I wanted to hear right now"
I then leapt back to my throne and put my head in my hands trying not to cry.

"How? Did you do it? How did you shatter Pink Diamond?" Blue asked as she lead forward to Steven.

I looked up to hear what he had to say.

Then Steven explains how he shattered pink diamond but he seemed like he was making it up as he goes.
Blue Zircon bang her head on the pillar in utter frustration.

"...and I probably had to use the breaking point to do it"

"It was a sword!" Blue screamed.

Blue used her powers and the whole room was filled with a blue aura casing all the gems to come into tears.

"You... Shattered her with a sword" Blue said as she went back to sit, tears in her eyes.
Both me and Yellow went to comfort her.

"That's quite enough testimony from you We shall take a short recess" Yellow told them.

"Aunt Blue will you be alright?" I asked.
Blue looked at me and caressed my cheek.

"I'm fine I'm sorry you have to go through this"

I smiled and told her hand.

"That's okay but at the end, we are all going to get through this together"

Blue smiled and wiped away her remaining tears.

"Of course. Yellow I'm ready to continue on with the trial"

"Rose Quartz is flawed. I grant you. A shallow gem that turned her back on her kind for creatures like these" Blue Zircon said as Lars appeared again.
She then turned on her heels to face us.

"Blue Diamond for the purpose of this argument may I present your palanquin?" She asked.

"Is this necessary?" Yellow asked clearly annoyed.

"Isn't it?" Blue asked Yellow as she raised her hand her palanquin appeared.
"Please proceed"

The Blue Zircon explained how Pink Diamond was shattered by Rose Quartz. Then she started to question where were her attendants, her Agates, he Sapphires and her pearl.

This had not on me thinking but the whole room.
It would have been impossible for Rose Quartz to get close to Pink Diamond.

"They were with her of course! They saw the whole thing!" Yellow shouted.

"-But none of them saw Rose Quartz approach? Wouldn't her Sapphires see Rose Quartz coming? Wouldn't her Agates try and fight her off?" Blue Zircon question.

"That is strange" Steven and I said at the same time.

"She must have slipped passed them!" Yellow argued.

"Even if she did. Wouldn't her Pearl crude out in alarmed 'Waatch ouuut myy Diamonddd'" Blue Zircon said imitating a Pearl's voice.

"No. Whoever did this was already close to Pink Diamond.
Someone who her guards would allow to get near her. Someone, she would listen too when ask her to stop her palanquin and step outside and someone with the authority to cover it up afterwards! Someone with supreme authority... Someone like you!" Blue Zircon exclaimed pointing at Blue and Yellow.

I gasped and so did Blue.

Yellow then got up and walked towards Blue Zircon.

"Um...I disregard that statement"
She said nervously.

"I might have gotten carried away"

Then Yellow poofed underneath her finger.

"Case close, right my Diamond" Yellow Zircon asked.

Yellow in a fit of rage sent immense energy poofing Yellow Zircon.

"Yellow stop it!" Blue demanded as she walked to her.

I noticed Steven pop bubble to headed to Blue's palanquin.
I made a tched sound and, without thinking I jumped in with them.

"Y/n?!" Steven asked shocked.

"Steven! What in the stars are you thinking?!" I yelled at him.

"Let's shatter Rose Quartz and be done with it!" I heard Yellow said.

"Can't you retain yourself?!" Blue asked her.

"Hurry up and drive this thing. Do giant crazy chicks aren't going to be distracted forever" Lars said as he hid behind Steven

Steven tries to control the palanquin but it went haywire on us.
It then leapt through the roof, we all held on to the palanquin.

"Y/n!" Blue and Yellow called.

"Where are we?" Lars asked.

"Homeworld" Steven and I replied.

As we fell, we saw Yellow cut a diamond through the wall.

"You think you could get away Rose? You stood your ground on that little speck you call Eart but you're on our planet now"
Yellow said as we slowly feel to Homeworld's ground.
