— ✩̶ ❱ as a child, HYEONU liked messing with his older brother and used to write lengthy diary entries in a made-up language, detailing stories about people in their lives. whenever his brother came across these entries, he would be severely confused as to what HYEONU had written which irritated him - the only clue being people's names, which were clearly written in korean whereas the rest of the words were gibberish.

— ✩̶ ❱ in middle school, his pe teacher once nominated him to represent his school in a 5k run despite not being a sporty individual. HYEONU wholeheartedly took part, however halfway through the run he tripped and fell face first onto the ground; other runners and passers-by rushed to his aid after watching the incident. to save himself from further embarrassment, HYEONU pretended that he had seriously injured his knee and kept up the act all the way until he made it to the hospital, where he revealed that he was actually fine once he realized how expensive the hospital bill would be.
