You were a shy person. It made you quite enjoy being in class 2-A, as class 1-A seemed to take all the attention and pressure. It made going through the UA hero course seem much easier, but it wasn't to say that you didn't have challenges along the way. Being reserved had its difficulties, like, for example, finding someone to work with during partner practices. Your quirk was strong, but it didn't mesh well with many others, so you were excluded sometimes. It was because of that that you met Shinso. He was similar to you, reserved by choice, but he was talented. Scarily so. He had a strong quirk, was super intelligent, and could analyze and plan like no one else. Being his partner was interesting in the beginning. He would rather do all the work and take all the credit, but you were definitely not like that. He had to learn to include you in the process, and you had to learn how to get past your fears of fighting hand to hand. You worked together over the year to better yourselves in those respective categories, but along the way, you helped each other out with other things. You finally developed a friendship by the end of year one. Shinso taught you things that you were very thankful for, and (while he had a hard time admitting it), you did a lot for him as well. He could even go far enough to say that he liked you. It was weird for him at first, but he embraced it by the end of the first year. As you were walking from practice to your dorms, he figured he would say something (on the soul advice from Midoriya). He wasn't expecting too much, but your reaction definitely surprised him.
