PRESIDENT BLAMDERSON-WARBLER!

FOR ONCE, THIS WEEK TWO MEMBERS OF MCKINLEY HIGH SCHOOL WERE MORE INTERESTED IN SOMETHING THAT WASN'T GLEE CLUB. With Class President elections creeping up on them, it was a race for Brittany S. Pierce and Blaine Anderson to find the perfect candidate for their Vice President in the hopes of winning.

Having being told the news that Brittany had chosen Artie Abrams as her Vice President, Blaine knew he needed to get a move on and ask whoever he wanted to back him up in his campaign. Thinking over his options carefully, he believed he had some sort of decision made in his mind.

Coming out of class with Tessa, Blaine was talking through his tactics with her as she listened in eagerly, nodding along to every word he said to assure him he had her devoted attention. Watching how attentively and actively she was listening to him as he rambled on, Blaine had felt as though his mind was completely made up.

Finding themselves as his locker, Blaine flung it open to shove his books inside whilst Tessa slammed her back against the lockers besides it, throwing him a light smile, "you don't need to be so stressed about this. What you have planned sounds totally awesome and you're totally awesome so that helps."

"Clearly not as totally awesome as Brittany." He grumbled through a pout, "she's winning because she's popular. I mean last year against Kurt and Rachel she gave out Pixy Sticks, there was no way she wasn't going to win."

Shrugging her shoulders, Tessa didn't want a word said against Brittany as much as she wanted Blaine not to give up on his campaign, "Britt's one of the most totally awesome people i know. And yeah... the Pixy Sticks were a massive bonus... but she's also the most lovable person I know, it's hard not to want to vote for her let alone want to be her friend. But I'm gonna help you with your campaign as much as I possibly can, so you'll win without even needing a bribe of sugary treats."

Sighing contentedly, Blaine couldn't help but crack a smile, "you seriously are the best."

"I know." Tessa winked through a laugh, "all that's left for us to do is find you a kickass Vice President."

Delighted that she'd brought up the subject up of Vice President, Blaine sprung up to answer, "I did have someone in mind, how about..."

Before he could even open his mouth to finish his sentence, Brittany had popped up out of nowhere with Sam at her side and a huge smile on her face and was talking in his place, "Blaine Warbler, I'd like you to meet Sam Evans."

"Uh I'm pretty sure we've met. Several times." Blaine replied awkwardly, shaking Sam's hand, "we hang out all the time actually."

"He's your candidate forVice President." Brittany told him. Seeing the beaming grin on Sam's face, Tessa clapped her hands together proudly, darting her eyes between Blaine and Sam as she saw one more excited than the other.

With an awkward glance around the three of them, Blaine stumbled over his words as he figured out what he wanted to say, "uh no... I'm picking my own running mate. I already have someone in mind." Gesturing to Tessa, he hoped that one of the three would pick up that it had been her he was planning on asking.

Nudging him in the side, Tessa threw him an encouraging grin, "come on Blaine! Britt... it's a genius idea. Sam's a great candidate if you ask me, he'd do an awesome job."

"My family's on food stamps so that'll get you the sympathy vote, I'm not gay so that'll help with the not-gay vote, my girlfriend's Head Cheerio so that'll get you the Cheerios vote." Clearing his throat, Sam effortlessly changed to one of his best impressions, "and you know... I don't want to brag but my impressions are hilarious one hundred percent of the time."

After laughing at Sam's impression, Tessa turned to see Blaine still looking confused and playfully rolled her eyes, "it's George Bush, come on." She told him, "you probably won't get the Cheerios vote though to be honest, they'll vote for whoever this Sophomore votes for, she won't even listen to Kitty." Shaking her head lightly, she turned to Sam giving him a pat on the arm, "all your cool person votes will be coming from this guy."

With the bids of encouragement coming from the pair, Blaine had given in, knowing that he'd have both of them completely on his side to pitch in ideas no matter who he chose, "okay, sure."

Clapping her hands together, Brittany beamed at her plan working out, "awesome. First order of business: Artie and I challenge you and Sam to a debate." Spinning on her heels, Brittany had taken their nods as an answer and was already skipping off down the hallway.

Scratching the back of his neck, Sam leant in towards Tessa in an attempt at a whisper, "what's a debate?"

"Something we'll work together on." Tessa assured him with a soft smile, "the three of us can go to The Bean after school to come up with something, is that alright Mr Soon-To-Be-President?"

Grinning at the two of them, Blaine shut his locker and nodded eagerly, "perfect." Beginning off down the hallway, he twirled round to walk backwards facing them, "I'm in as long as Tess isn't driving. Last time you drove me somewhere I was left terrified."

"I'm a good driver." Tessa protested, unconvincingly.

"You may be a horrible driver but it's okay because I still love you." Sam wrapped an arm over her shoulders and squeezed her gently as she leant her head against his shoulder, shaking her head with amusement when Blaine took down in front of them with a spring in his step.

BLAINE, SAM AND TESSA HAD MADE IT THROUGH THE DAY AND TO THE BEAN TOGETHER. Collecting up their coffees, the three had settled down at a table with Blaine and Sam on one side and Tessa on the other with a stack of flashcards in her hands.

Getting to the next question, Tessa glanced up over her flashcards to see Sam listening attentively for the next question whilst Blaine had sunk his head into his hands, trying to hide away how worried he was for the upcoming debate. Skimming her eyes over the question first of all, she read it out before looking up for an answer, "test scores at Mckinley have gone down six percent every year for the past decade. What would you do to fix the problem?"

"Stop giving out tests." Sam answered immediately, a frown growing on his face as he explained himself, "they're hard and there are too many of them."

Squinting down at her card, Tessa bit onto her lip slightly, "as much as I agree, thats not the exact answer we're looking for." She told him quietly, feeling a pit of guilt hit her stomach at the sight of Sam's face falling. Not wanting him to lose hope, she tried to prompt him towards the correct answer, "well let me put it this way... what's the problem with tests at Mckinley?"

Taking a moment to think, Sam scrunched up his nose, "they're hard... and it's not always an accurate way of showing how smart you are." He said in a questioning tone, continuing as he received nods from both ends of the table, "we could find a way to make tests easier."

"That's close enough." Blaine smiled, his attention wavering as his phone lit up with Kurt's contact.

"You should answer it." Tessa encouraged when she noticed him hesitate, "I wanna hear what Kurt's up to as much as you clearly do, we'll carry on without you until you're finished."

Unable to stop himself from grinning, Blaine hadn't wasted a moment in snatching up his phone and rushing to the outside of The Bean to find somewhere quiet to chat to his boyfriend, leaving Sam and Tessa to have some alone time.

Picking up on his small sigh as it left his lips, Tessa reached a hand forwards and slipped it into his, "you okay?"

Using his free hand to run his hand through his hair, Sam shook his head, "this was a bad idea. I'm really bad at this."

"No you're not, you got the last one right."

"Only once you helped me." He mumbled back, "this is all just so confusing for me."

Squeezing his hand reassuringly Tessa pouted her bottom lip slightly, "I get that. And that's okay, nobody's mad at you. But just because you might not be able to give a load of numbers and facts like Artie, it doesn't make you a bad candidate. You have so many other amazing qualities that will help you get the votes come flying in."

"I really don't wanna let Blaine down." Sam sighed, "he should've chosen you. You'd be so much better than me at all this stuff."

"That's bull crap." Tessa waved it off immediately with a swish of her ponytail as she shook her head, "you're gonna kill it out there in this debate and look totally hot doing it whilst I'll be in that audience cheering you both on like a mad woman. You're doing a lot better than you're giving yourself credit for."

Reaching out her other hand, Tessa now had both hands in Sam's, searching for his eyes as he looked up to meet hers, an adoring smile pulling on the corners of his lips as they just looked into each other's eyes for the moment, "thank you. I'm seriously so in love with you."

Brushing her thumbs across the tops of his palms, Tessa bit back a smile and looked down into her coffee for a moment to hide her blush, "i seriously love you too, you dork."

Pulling his hands away, Sam slid the flashcards back across the table towards her with a quick glance out the window, "hit me with the flashcards so it looks like we've been working. Blaine's coming back."

"Pretending to have been working? I'm a professional in that field — ask Finn." Tessa grinned, wickedly, flipping over the next flashcard and tilting her head back up as Blaine threw himself back down in the seat besides them. Taking notice of the sigh leaving his lips, Tessa's grin quickly fell into a frown, "what's up? Is Kurt okay?"

"Kurt's fine." Blaine told them, forcing a smile onto his face, "he's got an internship at Vogue.Com and he was at work so he couldn't stay long."

Narrowing her eyes at him, Tessa had quickly become skeptical to the reality of his smile and exchanged a knowing look across the table with Sam. Deciding to push this to the side until a situation Kurt was brought up once more, she nodded in acceptance, taking a small sip of her coffee and continuing on with their debate practice.

THE DEBATE HAD COME ROUND AND TESSA HAD SNUCK INTO THE WINGS. Creeping up behind Sam, she wrapped her arms around him from behind, planting a kiss to his neck as he grinned into the mirror in front of him, "ready to kill it out there?"

"Totally. I've even convinced Blaine to go bow-tie-less." Sam told her proudly, spinning his seat round so he was facing her.

Widening her eyes, Tessa whipped around to catch a glance at the unusual sight of a bow-tie-less Blaine Anderson. Flashing her a smile and a wave, Blaine seemed pretty pleased with his fashion advice, "apparently I look less uptight now."

Shrugging her shoulders, Tessa tilted her head to the side, "huh, yeah I kinda see it. Although, I have seen you blackout drunk at a bar wearing a bow-tie."

Rubbing the back of his neck as memories of that night came flooding back, Blaine shook his head awkwardly, "yeah... let's not talk about that night."

"I was there to cockblock Sebastian." Tessa explained briefly to Sam, to clear up any unnecessary confusion.

"Yeah I know." Sam chuckled, in a similar awkward tone to Blaine, "you drunk called me that night." Widening her eyes, it was Tessa's turn to turn red, laughing nervously to herself as she struggled to find the words to say, "nothing bad." He assured her, "I liked hearing your voice. Even if you were just blurting out random, drunk crap."

Awkwardly, Tessa rubbed her palms over her eyes, "oh dear."

Pleased that he wasn't the only one to have embarrassed himself whilst drunk, Blaine patted a hand down on each of their shoulders, and gave them both a smile as they heard Sue call out for the Vice Presidents, "right, you're up Sam."

"That's my cue to leave, Marley's saved me a seat with her and Jake. We'll be cheering for you both." Tessa breathed out, wrapping her arms around Blaine in a hug, "good luck Mr Soon-To-Be-President and Mr Soon-To-Be-Vice-President." Moving onto Sam, Tessa wrapped her arms around his neck and planted a sweet kiss to his lips, "you're gonna kill it out there."

Rushing out, Tessa managed to throw herself down besides Marley just before the debate could start, grinning at her and then Jake ready to listen.

"Took you long enough." Jake mumbled.

"Piss off, you." Tessa tutted, shooting him a wicked grin over Marley's shoulder.

Once Sue had introduced Sam and Artie to the small amount of people in the crowd, Tessa had jumped up from her seat cheering for her boyfriend with Marley more nervously following behind then Jake reluctantly finding himself standing up and clapping with an obvious roll of his eyes, trying to bite back his smile.

Going quiet out of fear of Coach Sylvester's wrath as she turned round and glared at them, they sat down once again exchanging smiles. Artie was first to be questioned and he was rambling on for so long that Marley had both Tessa and Jake slip into sleep on her shoulders as she laid her head on top of Tessa's, trying to stay awake herself.

"Merciful, sweet Jesus, thank you." Sue murmured against her hand as Artie's speech eventually came to a halt and a nudge in the side from Marley told Tessa that it was Sam's turn to respond.

"I wasn't really listening." Sam admitted, "Whatever Artie said, I agree with that."

"Damn that was a good idea." Tessa whispered, proudly.

As ever, Sue Sylvester couldn't care less as to the response, just moving on to the next question, "our next question is from Twitter @hungrysouthmouth, asks Sam Evans: Rumour has it you were a stripper, aren't you ashamed?"

Taking in a sharp breath, Sam shook his head, "no I am not. In fact —" stepping out of his pedestal, before anyone could react, Sam had ripped off his tie with his shirt following on very soon after.

When the crowd went wild, both Tessa and Jake's initial reactions were to cover Marley's eyes as Sam did a strip tease for everyone to see. Watching Tessa's smile grow giddy, Jake grimaced, "gross."

Covering her face with her hands, Sue was slowly losing the plot, turning round, she stared directly at Tessa and gave her the same disgusted grimace that Jake had, "Tallulah, come get Samgelina Jolie."

"You got it Coach." Tessa laughed lightly, escaping her seat and rushing backstage before the Presidential debate could continue with Brittany and Blaine.

TEAM BLAM HAD WON THE ELECTION. Bringing the celebrations to Breadstix, Mckinley had been congratulating their newest President and Vice President but despite this, everything had seemed to hit Blaine hard.

Leaving his conversation with Artie, he sighed down at his phone and let the smile he'd forced onto his face fall once he'd believed no one would notice.

Taking her chance, Tessa had slipped away from Marley, leaving her alone with Jake and stood in front of Blaine with her arms folded across her chest, "you wanna talk to me? Tell me what's been making you so sad this week?"

Waving her off, Blaine forced the smile back onto his face, not wanting to disappoint anyone with his own insecurities, "nothing. I'm all good — I'm great in fact. Thanks for all your help by the way."

"President Blamderson-Warbler. I know you better than that." Tessa raised her eyebrows, "you can talk to me."

"First of all: where did that name come from?" He questioned through a laugh as they both took seats together in a booth.

"Blam — you and Sam, Anderson — your fake last name, Warbler — your real name." Tessa explained bluntly, "President Blamderson-Warbler."

Looking down with a smile, Blaine shook his head in amusement, "you always know just how to cheer me up, Tess."

"I'm right here for you, dude." Tessa smiled genuinely, giving his hand a quick squeeze, "It's something with Kurt isn't it?" Seeing his light nod, it seemed clearer, "listen, I'm sure he's proud of you. But he's also pretty busy right now with his new job and all, he'll answer your calls."

"I just hate the thought of his being busy without me." Blaine mumbled, sadly, fiddling with his fingers.

"I get it. I really do." Tessa replied, softly, trying to persuade him to look her in the eyes, "but if it makes you feel any better I'm proud of you. Insanely proud."

Looking up at her with a smile, Blaine wasn't given time to respond before Sam threw himself down in the seat besides Tessa with the biggest grin on his face, enjoying every aspect of the party, "there's the man of the hour! And the beautiful Tessa Swann. You both alright?"

With them both frowning at him worriedly, Blaine felt safe enough with the two of them to spill out how he was feeling, "you know? It didn't hit me until right now, I came to Mckinley for Kurt — that's it. And now he's gone and even with glee club I feel really, really... alone."

"You kinda killed my party buzz bro." Sam frowned slightly.

"I'm sorry, it's just that I did all of this for him. And now he's not here, so it just feels like none of it matters."

"Of course it matters!" Sam exclaimed, slamming his fist on the table, "you're McKinley's first gay guy president!"

Sinking further into his seat, Blaine pouted, "no one cares about that."

"We care!" Tessa yelled, frantically waving her hands in the air, "we really care."

Hoping to get Blaine to see their point clearer, Sam sat forward in his seat with a small sigh, "look, before I met you, Kurt was the first gay kid I met. Don't get me wrong, he's great, but I don't really get his Bravo jokes or the fashion thing or Broadway. You and me, its different, you know? I've never had a gay bro before. We'd be like Wolverine and Cyclops, show people how we're cool with each other and if you ask me, that's what matters."

"Thanks man." Blaine smiled sincerely, both of them staring each other down for a moment before pointing towards themselves and speaking up in unison, "but just so we're clear... I'm Wolverine."

"I said it first." Sam shouted out, instantly turning to Tessa for approval, grinning victoriously as she nodded her head.

Pleased to see the smile back on Blaine's face, Tessa leant forward in her seat with an idea in mind, "as much as I'm loving this party, how about we go back to mine for a movie marathon and ice cream?" She proposed, "only my Grandad's home and you both know how chill he is."

Grinning, Sam was already out of his seat, holding out both hands to pull Tessa up after him, "I'm in. I've got more impressions to show him... and a movie night with you guys sounds pretty cool too."

Whipping round, the two looked expectantly at Blaine as he got up slower than the both of them, "you had me at ice cream." His lips grew into a grin, jumping out of his seat. Throwing his arms around Tessa and Blaine, Sam was eagerly showing off his impressions to the two of them as they laughed, leaving the party behind to spend some time with just the three of them.
