ITS BIEBER, BABY!
SAM EVANS THOUGHT JUSTIN BIEBER WAS TOTALLY ROCK AND ROLL. After a rough Valentine's Day, he'd been a little downhearted. Everyone was telling him that Quinn must've kissed Finn — she got mono after all — and despite the gum ball cover story being convincing enough, he still felt as thought he was ever so slowly losing Quinn.
So, he'd decided to change up his image a bit. Sam Evans was now, the Justin Bieber Experience.
Coach Sylvester had joined them in the choir room that week after her attempted sue-icide, which the glee club weren't overly happy with.
"Guys, it's not up for discussion, okay?" Mr Schue called out over their loud protests, "look, its no secret that Coach Sylvester has taken her licks."
"I mean, just wanky." Santana commented, getting a harsh glare from Sue.
"And I believe she could use a bit of sympathy from us." Mr Schue continued on, ignoring Santana's comments and grimacing as the glee club began shouting again.
"Sympathy? From us?" Mercedes scoffed, loudly, "all she's ever done is make our lives miserable."
In full agreement, Santana turned to the front with pursed lips, "she got exactly what she deserved."
"You're lucky I left my blowgun at home, airbags, 'cause I've got a clear shot of your nonnies." Sue shot back, earning a scowl from Santana, who instantly looked to Mr Schue to agree with her.
"Guys. Coach Sylvester has had her recent setbacks, but she is a proven champion. Now, we could do worse than to have that kind of a winning record in our midst." Mr Schue explained through a deep sigh, ignoring the scowls he was getting from his entire glee club.
Sitting forward in her seat, Sue began to let her guard down slightly in front of the group, "let me break it down for you guys, I am no longer a threat to you people, alright? I'm just hoping that your singing and dancing will pull me out of my doldrums and give me a reason to live. Is that too much to ask?"
Reluctantly agreeing, the glee club began to accept Coach Sue into their choir room, and turned back to Mr Schue with deep sighs as he began the lesson, "i received an envelope in the mail today. We know that we're gonna be facing up against Kurt and the Warblers at regionals."
"And Blaine!" Tessa chipped in with a huge smile, elaborating as a few members of the group looked at her full of confusion, "he's my new best friend."
"What?" Santana called out, pouting.
"I can have more than one best friend, Tana." Tessa laughed, leaning down against her shoulder as the group put their attention back to Mr Schue, "but you know you're my favourite."
With the announcement that they'd also be facing Aural Intensity, Mr Schue began their next assignment with the theme of this years regionals — anthems. "Now who can tell me what an anthem is?" He asked the class.
Brittany's hand immediately shot into the air as she called out, "the bottom of an ant's pants!"
"Almost there, Britt!" Tessa encouraged as Mr Schue softly shot her down.
"An anthem is an epic song, filled with a groundswell of emotion that somehow seems bigger than itself, bigger than the person performing it."
Building up his last ounce of courage, Sam put his hand up to interrupt, swishing his hair across his face as he was acknowledged, "Mr Schue? I've been working on a new image to go with my new one man band, the Justin Bieber Experience."
"Dude! That haircut makes your mouth look even bigger." Puck marvelled, finding himself laughing at Sam's new image.
Whipping round to face him, Tessa gave him a look of annoyance, "like yours is any better!" She retorted, turning back to Sam and giving him two thumbs up in encouragement.
"You love my mohawk." Puck whispered to her, grinning at her as she raised her eyebrow and shook her head in amusement.
Frowning as the glee club seemed to be laughing at him and grateful for Tessa's support, Sam spoke loudly over them in an attempt to get his new image to work and win back Quinn Fabray, "laugh all you want but the kid's an epic talent. I've been working on a number that I want to show off. And I think it qualifies as an anthem because it's just hugely emotional and sums up our generation."
As Justin Bieber's 'Baby' began to play, Sam finally tore his gaze away from Tessa and her dancing of encouragement and started singing to Quinn.
Laughing at herself, Tessa danced along in her chair, not being able to deny to herself how slightly flustered she felt watching Sam Evans perform. Pushing these feelings aside, she shook her head as a confession came out, "this is actually a really good song."
Mouth gaping open, Finn let out an offended scoff and rolled his eyes, "you too, Tess? Really?"
Shrugging her shoulders, Tessa gave his shoulder a light shove at his distaste and continued to dance in her chair, grabbing onto Tina's hands as they giggled together.

AFTER SAM'S SUCCESS AS BIEBER, EVERYONE ELSE WANTED IN. Well, everyone except Finn Hudson, who was fed up of the Biebs entirely because all the girls were for some reason unknown to him, fawning over the new and improved Justin Bieber experience.
It wasn't just the boys who'd changed their looks. The girls seemed to have been copying Rachel Berry, through the medium of Brittany and were rocking carousel horse sweaters and plaid skirts.
Whilst all these new styles were going around, Santana had dragged the original Bieber to the library and sat him down opposite her in the library. After watching him sing, she just knew she had to get Sam Evans to admit his love for Tessa Swann.
"How're things with you and Quinn?" She asked bluntly to begin the conversation.
"Fine." Sam replied, awkwardly, unknown to the confident smirk that quickly crept onto Santana's lips.
"No they're not." Santana insisted, "but let's get real here, froggie lips, there's a certain someone who you're much more than fine with."
Scrunching up his face, Sam tilted his head to the side, "what do you mean?"
Tutting loudly as if she was struggling to deal with having to sit with Sam for any longer than necessary, Santana sat forward in her seat to look him straight in the eye, "okay, you know what? Let's cut to the chase. Despite the fact that your mouth to face ratio is like way off, Tessa still somehow manages to find you cute. But every time you open your humongous mouth to do an impression or moisten an enormous stamp for a lazy giant, you take one step closer to everyone seeing that your actually a dork. Luckily for you, I happen to know that Tessa loves your dorky impressions and weird stuff like that. And as her best friend, I know she's a huge dork too. A dork who wants on them froggie lips."
Raising his eyebrows in amusement at the insults, Sam took a moment to take in exactly what Santana had said before deciding to stay loyal, "but I'm dating Quinn."
"And this just in — she cheated on you." Santana spelt out to him.
"No, she didn't." Sam insisted, confidently, though the more anyone told him how stupid the gum ball story was, the more he began to believe them.
"Look, I know you're as dumb as a bag of wet hair, but you know in your heart that she's lying. You're choosing to believe it so you can still be with her." She pushed, feeling slightly sympathetic for the boy sat in front of her as his shoulders slumped, finally giving in, "but consider my offer. Not only am I giving you the chance to pull my girl Tess right into your arms like in those dorky movies you watch, but you get a chance to show that pastry bag Finn that he can't mess with Sam Evans. And not just because you can unlock your humongous jaw and swallow him whole like a python but because you have some buzz at this school and the coolest goddamn girl on your arm."
"Are you sure?" Sam sighed out, feeling conflicted and looking up with an affectionate smile on his face as Tessa walked into the library, laughing with Mike about something.
Seeing this, Santana gave him the first genuine smile since they'd began talking, "positive." She whispered, "look, Trouty Mouth, you don't look at someone the way you look at Tess unless you're head over heels."
And with that, Santana gave him a knowing glare, getting straight up from her chair and leaving Sam alone in the library, biting on his lip as he knew he had a lot to think about.

ANTHEMS WEEK HAD REALLY JUST TURNED INTO BIEBER WEEK. Apart from Coach Sylvester insisting that they sing the My Chemical Romance anthem, 'Sing', everyone had ignored Mr Schue's assignment and turned to Comebacks.
Some comebacks were more successful than others. Rachel's had completely failed, with all the credit going to Brittany, Lauren however had sung in glee club for the first time. Sam's comeback and a bit of help from Santana though, had made him realise that it wasn't worth fighting for Quinn's affection any longer.
Approaching Tessa's locker, he gave her a sad smile and held his hands up limply, "I broke up with Quinn."
Pouting sympathetically, Tessa felt her heart drop for the boy and closed her locker to wrap her arms around Sam's neck in a comforting hug, "I'm so sorry." She whispered as he buried his head into her shoulder.
Standing there, just hugging each other for a while, Sam sighed as he melted into her embrace, feeling everything that happened with Quinn just seem to slip away as Tessa traced shapes onto his back and muttered encouraging words into his ear. Eventually breaking the hug, she held him at arms length and gave him a genuine smile, "if Quinn doesn't see what an awesome guy she had, then she doesn't deserve you." She assured him, gently, "are you okay?"
"I am now." Sam smiled in return, "thanks."
"And hey, if Bieber didn't make her fall in love, I don't know what would've." She grinned, widening her eyes and fanning herself with a playful wink, "totally hot."
"I didn't take you as one for the Biebs." He laughed, walking alongside her as she shrugged her shoulders, "neither did i until this week."
Chuckling, Sam shoved his hands into the pockets of his jacket and looked to the floor for a moment, "noted. I'll remember that. Tess likes Bieber when he's blonde and his real name is Sam Evans."
Nodding, she scrunched up her nose, "exactly."
Admiring her for a second as she giggled at him, Sam licked his lips to build up a bit of courage, "I actually need a partner for colour me mine tonight, you maybe wanna join me?"
A relived smile came onto Sam's face as Tessa broke out into a grin and nodded her head excitedly, "I'd love that. And maybe we could watch a movie at mine after? That'd be fun." She suggested.
"Awesome, I can't wait."
After walking together in content silence for a moment, Tessa looked up to face him, nervously playing with her fingers, "do you have any regrets?" She asked, curiously, as his eyes locked into hers.
With Santana's words playing through his mind, Sam found the smallest bit of confidence he needed to tell her his feelings, "just one, really." He admitted, letting out a hitched breathe, "I just wish I'd spent less time worrying about Quinn and more on someone else who I liked and who I'm pretty sure likes me for me."
Tessa felt her heart flutter at his words, struggling to get herself to speak for a moment and having to clear her throat before talking again, "oh yeah?"
Trailing his eyes over her hopeful expression, Sam smiled at her, pushing away all the nerves he had and before he could talk himself out of it, he'd gently cupped Tessa's face in his hands and kissed her.
