☆ Huening Kai's Pov ☆

"Why are you here?," Yeonjun interrogated the intruders but was met with silence once again.

We have been gathered in the garden for almost one hour but they have not responded once to any of the questions we asked them. They look just as confused as us.

They look harmless to be honest

"Stop pretending like you don't understand us. We clearly heard you both speak a while ago,"yelled Beomgyu with frustration but both of them just stared at the ground, shaking their head to disagree.

"You guys jumped around and said 'We are alive!' " mimicked Beomgyu making us all stifle a laugh.

Why did it sound accurate though?

"We don't sound like that!" spoke the girl with wavy caramel brown hair making her friend smack her arm at her mistake.

"Why would you do that,you dummy?," The girl with black hair with dyed purple ends and glasses glared at her but immediately shut her mouth realizing her mistake.

"Who is the dummy now?," The brunette smacked her back, making Beomgyu grin at his accomplishment.

He scares me with his thinking sometimes

"You guys do realize that we are still here, right?," Taehyun gave them a concerned look.

"I think we should let them rest a bit and then ask the questions. They seem confused too," suggested Soobin after analyzing the situation.

"Prepare the dunge-"

"Prepare the guesthouse" Soobin ordered one of the maids interrupting Yeonjun, making all of our eyes widened at his order.

"Yes, my prince" The maids bowed.

He is planning to let the intruders stay in the guest house?

"But they are-" Yeonjun was again interrupted by Soobin.

"I know what they are. Take them to the guesthouse and help them carry their belongings," Soobin answered and the maids took the intruders to the guesthouse with their belongings.

What is he thinking? What if there are weapons inside the bags?

"Thank you so much," thanked one of the intruders with a smile before being whisked away to the guesthouse and Soobin smiled back.

"What are you doing? You do realize that those are intruders? They can literally cause chaos if we let them go! They should be locked up," Yeonjun argued as soon as the intruders left.

"I actually agree with Yeonjun this time," Beomgyu piped in.

He looked just as baffled as the rest of us due to Soobin's actions.

Isnt he the crowned prince?

Isn't he supposed to protect the planet?

"I know you guys are probably weirded out by my decision," Soobin stated.

"What do you mean by 'probably'? We definitely are. It is as weird as your decision to make that hedgehog the next successor!" exclaimed Yeonjun making all of us gasp.

He did not just-

"How dare you insult my precious son?," Soobin yelled back finally losing his cool inching towards Yeonjun.

"Let's not fight," Taehyun and I intervened before things could get ugly.

"You saw that piece of paper and now he is risking everything!" The pissed off red head yelled trying to break free from Taehyun's grip on his arm.

"Piece of paper? That is a document!" Soobin yelled also trying to break free from my grip.

I don't know how long I can hold on to him

"How about we listen to what Soobin has to say first?," I tried to let Soobin explain his point.

"We are going to let you go but you can't fight," Taehyun stated looking at the the two princes who look like two toddlers having a tantrum.

"Fine," They pouted as we let go of them.

"I let them stay there so that we could inspect them and their intentions properly. They would be right under our supervision. We can't do that properly if they are in the dungeons," explained Soobin.

"So you are planning on gaining their trust and ambushing them?," Beomgyu raised an eyebrow.

"Yes!" Soobin replied looking calm again now that we finally understood his point.

"And I hand the responsibility of handling the intruders to Taehyun," Soobin further stated making Taehyun's eyes widened in shock.

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean," Soobin winked and quickly ran away before Taehyun could refuse.

"How is he our future king?," Beomgyu sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.

"Hey, do you want something?," A voice suddenly spoke making me almost jump in shock.

I turned around to see a black haired girl with metal framed glasses looking at me curiously.

It was one of the intruders

"The bush is not a good hiding spot now, is it?We have been watching you for an hour now," The girl confessed making me blush in embarrassment.

Now that I think about it, hiding in the bushes wearing a bright yellow hoodie isn't the best idea

It's all Beomgyu's fault

☆ Flashback ☆

"No matter what Soobin said, I don't trust them at all," Beomgyu spoke turning around as he poured the ingredients to make his latest concoction.

"We can't go against his orders, can we?," I sighed.

"It's pointless. He has turned down all the ideas I gave him," Taehyun stated.

He looked like he was going to pull out all of his hair in frustration.

It must be hard being the wizard of the palace

First he has to deal with Yeonjun's chaos and now Soobin's stubbornness.

"I would have mixed in a truth serum or something and made them confess about their true intentions,"

"He didn't say we can't spy on them,"Beomgyu's eyes sparkled with mischief as he looked at me making me gulp.

"I have a feeling I am not going to like your idea very much," I gulped at the look he was giving me.

"No, you'll love it. Trust me," He grinned.

I didn't....
