Alec was on his knees, he confessed with venom tears in his eyes with great hope that the girl in front of him-the love of his life, Astrid will accept his love. "Astrid, you are the love of my life. I fell for you the very moment when I laid my eyes on you when you walked inside pushing the doors open. I cannot live a single moment without you. Please be mine?"
He opened the little dark blue box, revealing a black diamond ring-it was an emerald cut ring. It was sparkling along with the light of the chandelier above.

Astrid gasped when she heard him. She liked Alec as a friend. Caius and Athenadora adopted her when she was 12 years old. Years passed, now she is 16 year old young girl. She was really close with the guards from the beginning but Alec was her most special friend,she never knew why? She was smart, intelligent, beautiful, educated but she never expected that a powerful vampire like Alec himself will fall in love with her. She knew that Alec suffered a lot in his human life but that doesn't mean that she will ruin her life for him or to please her adoptive father.

She rejected his proposal,"I am sorry Alec for rejecting you but what really made you think that I will ever fall in love with you? People will know me as the witch twin's mate? I thought you to be be my best friend because I always saw that you were lonely and had no one to talk with except for your sister. I didn't know that you would take my favour to be this intense that you thought that, I will marry you?I don't love you. So, stay away from me."

Alec's unbeating heart clenched in pain. He never experienced this kind of pain in his mortal or in his immortal life ever. He bought Astrid in London because of this date,thinking that he will propose her by conveying his feelings. Astrid was already beautiful but wearing that silver dress made her look absolutely ravishing. He was in pain as he watched Astrid to leave the hall of the palace which Alec booked for him and Astrid.

Days passed, Astrid was back in the castle and Alec came followed by her the next hour. Astrid was being cheerful as always. Alec just used to watch her smile and laugh being happy with her friends and the guards, while he watched her from standing at a corner. He loved her so much. Jane began to maintain her distance from Astrid, as she watched her brother's condition getting worsen up.

Alec stopped drinking blood and used to train for hours. He began to improve in physical fights, combats,duels. He began to lash his anger out at the lower guards and the captives who were captured in the prison down at the dungeons for commiting certain crimes.

Astrid began to notice that Alec wasn't behaving normal like before. She remembered him standing next to Jane in the throne room always. She missed the way, he used to wave at her when she used to arrive home from her coaching classes. She missed Alec picking her up from the late night parties. She missed being in his embrace, his cold strong arms wrapped around her making her feel safe and secure. She missed the way, he used to nuzzle her neck making her feel ticklish. She missed taking baths with him in the Sunday mornings. Alec saw her naked and she didn't mind that.

She was feeling guilty that she told him to stay away from her. She was missing him a lot. Not being to stay away from him anymore, she walked inside the throne room greeting Caius, her adoptive father to ask him if he can provide a leave to Alec, so that she can take him at a good place and apologise to him. Walking inside,she saw Bella and Edward along with their daughter Renesmee-that creepy hybrid looked like a 20 year old. Astrid was greeted by Caius, Aro and Marcus.

"Hey uncles!" Astrid smiled cheerfully greeting them. Aro opened his arms for Astrid as she hugged him and he returned the hug back to her. She then stood beside him, watching the drama thinking why did this horny family came in Volterra. She listened their conversation attentively,her adoptive father glanced at her everytime because he wanted to assure himself that the spoilt brat of Volterra none other than his daughter is alright.

"Renesmee, do you want to marry Alec?" Bella asked her daughter, carefully. She placed her palm on Renesmee's face watching her expressions carefully. Astrid watched this carefully. Why would Renesmee and Alec get married? Renesmee nodded, blushing deeply. Astrid widened her eyes in shock, glaring at the hybrid who gave her consent of marrying Alec.

Aro clapped his hands together, laughing. "Renesmee has agreed! HAhA hAHah! Brother did you hear that? We shall start the preparations of their marriage! Congratulations to Edward and Bella!" Aro congratulated the parents of the hybrid after glancing at the three kings.

For some reason, Astrid's heart was paining. She didn't understand why was she feeling so bad. She should be happy right now that Alec will finally forget her and will marry someone else. But she didn't want this-she didn't want Alec to marry someone else and belong to some other girl. She watched Edward and Bella hugging their daughter, happy that their only child will be getting married to a vampire.

Astrid couldn't watch this scenerio, she turned to Aro, "Uncle, did you ask Alec's consent to the marriage with this creepy hybrid?" She questioned impatiently, earning glares from Bella and Edward. Renesmee began to cry in the arms of her parents, hurt at the words of Astrid.

"Yes, they have my consent, Astrid." Everyone turned around at the direction where they heard Alec from. Alec smiled slightly taking his steps towards Astrid. "And the person whom you referring is my future wife. I will appreciate if you talk respectfully to her." He said with the dirty smirk plastered on his face. He loved Astrid to the core but she needed to learn her lesson properly even if he has to play dirty with her. He knew this really well from the beginning- Astrid doesn't respect anyone unless she wishes so.

           As much as Alec's words angered Astrid-it hurted, pricking her heart. She knew that Alec doesn't like the Cullens but she didn't understand why he was okay with marrying Renesmee. The pain inside her chest increased. Somehow, she managed to say with a forced smile on her face more like in pain,“Congratulations Alec and your creepy hybrid fianceè. ” With that she turned at Renesmee, glaring daggers at her. Renesmee being the potato— started crying.

     The Volturi members who were present in the throne room along with the kings watched Astrid to walk back to her chamber in roaring vengeance.  
            “Let us prepare for the wedding.” Aro anounced, sighing in defeat because he hoped that Astrid will understand that Alec is her mate and she loves him.

  Alec and Renesmee were standing on the altar. Aro was standing there as the priest. The guests weren't pleased at all with the fact of Renesmee and Alec getting married. Jacob stared at Renesmee in disbelief.
                        The cameramen were not able to believe that Alec is marrying Renesmee a girl with no beauty instead of Astrid who was the glamour of the wedding. More than the bride— She was looking beautiful.
 

      Alec growled inside his throat, as he heard the males talking about Astrid's beauty. Astrid was the love of his life but where was she? His eyes fell at the bar where his mate was drinking the shots continously, looking at him in a seductive way with a lazy smirk planted on her gorgeous face.
 
   Alec wasn't able to help himself but to keep staring at her. Astrid was indeed the most gorgeous girl— he had ever seen in his entire life but her presence made all the ladies feel ordinary and this wasn't only his perspective but all the men who ever met with her. The black tight full sleeved shirt— she was wearing was absolutely sexy. Alec could see her cleavage which made venom pool up in his mouth in lust—clearly she didn't wear a bra to tease him. Her breasts were small but toned perfectly.

  She took another drink gaining Alec's attention at the smirk on her natural red lips. Her pale skin as always complimented her sharp features. She was sitting on the bar chair with her long legs flaunting their beauty even though she was wearing dark green jeans gaining all the men's lustful attention.

        She winked at him, sipping the drink of the glass which was in her hands. Alec's attention was soon caught by Aro himself—“Alec,dear? Shall we start with the vows?” Alec nodded at Aro's politeness but remained unsure of what he was about to do. He loved Astrid but marrying Renesmee? This will ruin her life because he will never give her the love which is stored in his heart only for Astrid.

      He turned his head at the bar to reconsider his decision but the particular chestnut haired girl wasn't seen to be anywhere. His eyes widened not finding Astrid anywhere. Panic began to rise inside his unbeating heart. First of all, Astrid was drunk which means not in the state to function properly. Secondly, the boys in the wedding can do anything to her.

   His eyes fell on the entrance where Astrid was talking with Jacob with a giddy smile on her face, stumbling on her feet here and there—trying not to fall on Jacob's body. He didn't like this at all, that dirty mutt could ruin his mate's purity.

  Growling, he walked down the altar, speeding towards Jacob with his onyx eyes not even caring that he just left his would be bride at the altar. He grabbed Astrid by her waist at his chest, snarling at Jacob, “STAY AWAY FROM HER!”

  Astrid tried to prevent his anger by placing her index finger on his plumply red lips that she will devour later. She shushed him, “Shut your little mouth.” She got down from his arms, taking Jacob's hand along with Alec's hand.

     She proceeded towards the altar with everyone's eyes on her. The both males made sure that the drunk girl doesn't fall.

    “Everyone, Jacob Black has something to tell you all!” Astrid anounced, patting Jacob's back as if complimenting a dog. “Come on Jake!” She cheered, letting him to walk forward.

   “What do you want to say,mutt?” Caius demanded, giving dirty looks at Jacob and able to figure out why his daughter was encouraging the mutt to convey himself.

“Say it, Jacob. I am with you.” Astrid encouraged, giving Alec's hand a squeeze while he was handling her posture. Edward and Bella's eyes widened with a horrified expression on their faces.

          Jacob spoke, “Renesmee is pregnant with my child. But their family forbids our relation, that's why they have agreed to form relationship with the Volturi by marrying my imprint with Astrid's leech boyfriend.”
       Everyone were shocked hearing this except for Astrid who learnt the truth from Jacob himself since he trusted her and her capabilities.

      Caius turned at Edward with the most disgusted look. “Your daughter defamed herself before marriage and got a child in her womb that's why you tried to give her load on us? If it wasn't my daughter then we would be stuck with your problems!” He yelled at the Cullens, shaming them to death.

      Alec who noticed Astrid wasn't able to stand properly. He picked Astrid in bridal style as she wrapped her arms around him. He didn't care about the world anymore except for his badass human who was in his arms. He knew this really well that Astrid's purpose wasn't to bring Renesmee's truth out but it was to prevent Alec's marriage.

   He entered inside his bedroom, closing the door. He layed Astrid on his bed. His eyes grazed over her body lustfully. She opened her eyes, looking at him. Not liking the distance anymore, she pulled him towards by grabbing his tie. He was on her—both of them staring at each other's eyes as if talking about wonders.

       “Why are you doing this?” Alec asked softly trying to keep his raspy voice calm, getting lost in her big dark green eyes. He could've swear but nothing makes him feel turned on more than Astrid's teasing. Astrid bit her bottom lip, pulling him more close to her.

     If Astrid was a player then Alec wasn't any less. He travelled his fingers down at her crotch taking off her jeans, his fingers roamed in circles over her clothed womanhood. Astrid mewled a bit, widening her toned legs more.

    “I love you too baby.” Alec pressed a kiss on her forehead, aware of the truth why she rejected him at first. He heard the truth from Aro and it broke his heart to know that his mate is so scared to lose him that's why she denies her love for him. He promised to himself that he won't let his adorable human to get hurt ever. He looked down at her face to find her asleep. He dressed her in comfortable clothes and turned off the lights as he cuddles with her while she was asleep.
