"SOME ANGELS ARE..."
ANGELS WERE ALWAYS depicted as the most beautiful creatures the Earth has ever seen in paintings, sculptures, and books. They were myths that everyone has heard about at least once in their life. These creatures were often called the messengers of God himself, but then again, there were a few that everyone only knew as the fallen angels. Thousands of years ago, there were a few angels who were often sent to keep order on Earth with the many monsters lurking about, and they were meant to kill them. At first, the group did it with no protest, but as time went on, one of them: Samael, began to question the motives of the ruler of this so-called Heaven. The group of monster hunters started to plot a rebellion against their God, but once it came to war, they were all banished.
These angels were sent to live the rest of their life in exile on the world where they were surrounded by monsters. They lost their wings, their pride, and instead were now being depicted with horns, fangs, tails, and so on. The Fallen, the name they now went by, instead of killing the mythical creatures on Earth like they were told to do decided to live alongside them. They swore to become their protectors against the worst monsters that even they feared. The angels settled down, and soon their own children were being taught how to defend themselves against the world that lurked alongside them.
ANNIKA GRAY WAS just an eighteen year old girl who attended the academy made just for these supernatural beings. There was only one problem: she didn't have any ties to the fallen angels. She was found by one when she was a child and was then raised as one of their own even though she showed no signs of power. Her father and mother, Ozul and Adrienne, allowed her to train with all the other young monsters and descendants of the Fallen in hopes of her starting to fit in. She did, however, manage her way through the years and soon became one of the best students in the school and was on her way to graduate this year.
That was until there was a threat against the Fallen that came from a place no one dared to enter. There was one soul angel who tore away from the group all those years ago as he became more and more power hungry, so he formed his own group. Those were the actual demons, and HEATH SALLOW was one of the worst, and Annika swore that she would destroy him whatever it took.
