Current time: 9.30 pm

"I'm so full. I just wanna sleep now." Coco groaned as she entered her and Adalyn's room.

"Me too. They had another buffet! Really?!" Adalyn groaned with Coco as both of them removed their shoes and socks and plopped on the bed.

"But that chicken, it was heaven." Coco said dreamily with saliva practically dripping off her mouth.

"That was some of the best chicken I've ever had." Adalyn said.

"Well, I'm going to freshen up. You can go after me." Coco said as she got off the bed and picked up some clothes for herselves.

"Okay." Adalyn said as Coco went inside the washroom.

Within minutes Coco came out and Adalyn went inside to change. She dropped on the bed along with Coco and was sleeping pretty soon.

Day II of the internship; October 13:

Current time: 8.00 am

"Come on Coco get up. It is 8.00 am. We have to eat breakfast." Adalyn said while shaking Coco and desperately trying to wake her up.

"Uggh. Not now. Too soon." Coco groaned as she turned in her position and buried her face in her pillow.

"Coco come on man get up." Adalyn said.

"Noooo." She groaned again.

"Fine. I'm left with no choice but to do this."

Adalyn walked to the edge of the bed and pulled off the duvets off her body. It didn't do anything; Coco was still sleeping. Then, Adalyn picked up the glass of water on Coco's bedside table and threw all of its contents on her face.

"Aaah! What the hell!" Coco screamed as she sat up in her position. She saw Adalyn, her hands on her knees, trying to control her laughter.

"You should've- seen your- face." Adalyn said while laughing.

Coco picked up her now wet pillow and threw it at Adalyn. She caught it and dropped on the floor, still laughing.

"You're the worst." Coco said as she went inside the washroom. Adalyn got over her laughing fest and stood up. She removed the pillow cover and hung it out in the balcony to dry. The bedsheet was also wet so she hung that too.

"I'm done. Do you want to go?" Coco asked as she came out of the washroom.

"No I already went." Adalyn said as she stepped inside the room from the balcony. Coco began brushing her hair. Within minutes, they were out of their room and were on their way to the restaurant on the ground floor.

"Where are the rest?" Coco said as she and Adalyn were geeeted with an empty table.

"No idea. They all are always before us." Adalyn said while looking around the restaurant thinking that maybe they are sitting at another table instead of their usual one, but they weren't visible.

"Let me call mum." Coco said as she dialled Kate's number.

"Hello mum."

"Where are you all?"

"Okay, me and Adalyn are here."

"Fine." She disconnected the call.

"What happened?" Adalyn asked.

"They all slept in a little late. They are on their way." Coco chuckled.

"Oh okay." Adalyn said as the both of them sat down on their usual long table. They began chatting as all of them came, except one.

"Where's Ruel?" Coco asked Michelle as she sat down with everyone else.

"He's coming. He slept in extremely late." Michelle said.

"I thought he'll wake up the first because he has a concert today." Adalyn said as a waiter kept a platter of toast in front of her.

"I thought the same. But here we are, with Ruel still sleeping." Michelle said as she picked up some toast from the platter.

After everyone had eaten, a 6'5 boy came and sat down.

"Good morning everyone." He said, extra cheery.

"Good morning dumbhead." Coco greeted.

"Coco plea-" Ruel began but Kate cut him off.

"Stop it both of you. Ruel, eat your breakfast. Quick." Kate said sternly.

"Yes mum." Ruel said as he gobbled down some waffles.

"So at 4.00 pm, Ruel, you have your sound check." Nate announced. "The concert will begin at 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm is the time when your meet and greet will start. Michelle, I trust you to explain everything to Adalyn." Michelle nodded.

"So Adalyn," Michelle said as she turned around in her seat, "in the sound check we don't have anything to do. We have a lot to do in the concert and the meet and greet. We will shoot Ruel at the concert. We both will be between the barrier and the stage. In the meet and greet, the fans will come and we will click their pictures with Ruel."

"Okay, I think I'm understanding it." Adalyn said.

"It's your first concert, so don't worry. I'm here to guide you. And, on the stage, Ruel won't stand still at all." Michelle chuckled.

"Now that's true. I can stand still for photography sessions-" Ruel began.

"No you can't." Coco said.

Ruel turned around to look at Coco. "Shut up Coco." He turned back towards Michelle and Adalyn. "But I can't stand still during concerts. The energy is so high, that standing still is impossible."

"God then my pictures won't be good." Adalyn stated.

"Adalyn, don't worry. You're here to learn from me. I'll tell you how you can click his pictures." Michelle said.

"Okay, thanks Michelle." Adalyn smiled. She turned around to talk to Nate. "Nate?" She called out.

"Yes Adalyn?" He replied.

"What are we supposed to do until 4.00 pm?" She asked.

"Anything. You want to go out, you can. You want to stay inside, you can. But all of you need to be prepared till 3.30 pm. At that time we'll get out of the hotel to go the venue." Nate explained.

"Okay."

After all of them had eaten their breakfast, everyone made their way to either their rooms or to explore more outside. Coco and Adalyn both went out together.

"Where do you wanna go?" Coco asked as she linked her arm with Adalyn's arm.

"Anywhere." She said as both of them walked out of the hotel. Both of them walked, not knowing what their destination is, but not caring, as they both had the best company possible.

"Oh look there's a photo booth." Coco said excitedly. They both had come in some sort of large market and there were shops and malls everywhere.

"Oooh let's go." Adalyn said as both of them walked in. They went inside a room and once their turn came, they walked in a booth. They posed funnily as the camera flashed multiple times.

"Thank you." Adalyn said to the person who printed out their pictures and handed to them. After paying, they walked out.

"This one is so good." Coco said pointing to a picture in which she and Adalyn were hugging.

"This one is funny." Adalyn laughed as she pointed to another picture, where they both tried to pout but failed miserably.

"I look like a monkey." Coco exclaimed.

"Me too." Adalyn said as she laughed more.

"What next?" Coco asked.

"Do you like jewelry?" Adalyn asked further.

"Of course. Why do you ask?"

Adalyn pointed to a small but extremely aesthetic looking jewelry shop ahead.

"Oooh let's go." Coco said excitedly as both of them entered the shop. The shop was even more aesthetic on the inside. There was beautiful jewelry kept all around the shop which glimmered a lot.

"Whoa." Adalyn let out.

"Oh these necklaces." Coco gasped.

"Nice! But I like rings more." Adalyn said as she moved further to look at the ring sets.

"Oh my god. You have to get one set atleast Addie." Coco said.

"I really want to too. Let me see which one appeals me the most." Adalyn moved around the rings area and found the perfect set. A set of seven silver rings which were thin and weren't too flashy. They were in all types so there were rings to wear on her knuckles too in the set.

"I love it. I'm buying this." Adalyn said as she picked that set up and confirmed that she'd buy it after checking the price from the price tag.

"I'm buying these two chains. Are they good?" Coco asked as she held up two silver chains which were amazing. They, again, weren't too flashy.

"They are amazing. Buy them!" Adalyn exclaimed as both of them walked up to the counter. There was a lady sitting, who didn't look more than her thirties.

"Yes?" She asked them sweetly.

"We'd like to buy these rings," Adalyn said as she handed her the ring set and took the chains from Coco's hand, "and these two chains."

"Okay." The lady smiled. She put the jewelry in a small bag and prepared their receipt. After paying and thanking the lady, the pair made their way out of the shop.

"I'd like to buy something for my mum and Lorelai too." Adalyn said.

"What do they like?" Coco asked. Adalyn stopped in her tracks and thought for a moment. Then she turned back and ran back into the same jewelry shop.

"Wait Addie!" Coco called out behind her as she caught up.

"What happened girls?" The lady asked as the both of them entered the shop again.

"I forgot to buy some more jewelry." Adalyn chuckled as she walked ahead.

"Oh, no problem. Take your time to buy what you want." She smiled as Coco walked up to Adalyn.

"What are you planning to buy?" Coco asked.

"Well, Lorelai loves bracelets and my mum loves earrings. And I know exactly what sort of jewelry I want to gift them." Adalyn said as she looked up at the jewelry.

"Perfect!" She said as she picked up a bracelet. It was silver and had a charm of the peace sign dangling from it. "Lori will love it."

"Nice." Coco said as she took the bracelet from Adalyn's hand and viewed it.

"And these are perfect for mum!" Adalyn said as she picked up a box with earrings in it. They were small and had a beautiful golden flower on each of them, which she was sure her mum will love.

"Wow Addie you have a great choice." Coco complimented.

"Thanks." Adalyn smiled as both of them walked up to the counter for the second time.

"What else will you like to buy dearies?" The lady asked.

"This bracelet and this pair of earrings." Adalyn said as she handed those to her. She put them in a bag and prepared the receipt. Adalyn paid and thanked the lady and then walked out with Coco.

"Now, you sure you don't want to buy anything else from here?" Coco asked.

"No I'm done." Adalyn said as both of them continued to walk.

"What next?" Adalyn asked.

Coco was looking ahead. Adalyn followed her gaze to see her looking at a clothes shop. She turned around to look at Adalyn with a big grin on her face.

"Okay let's go." Adalyn said as Coco squealed and led her inside the shop. They both went inside and Coco instantly began looking at the clothes. The shop was big and there were many people.

"Addie, is this good?" Coco asked as she lifted a top in front of her body and looked herself from each and every angle in the mirror.

"Oh yeah, it will look amazing on you, buy it." Adalyn smiled.

"And, this will look amazing on you." Coco said while lifting another top in front of Adalyn's body.

"You sure?" Adalyn asked, unconvinced.

"Yes! Go and try." She said while leading Adalyn to the dressing area. Adalyn went inside a stall and put on the top and came out.

"Whoa." Coco said.

"Is it alright?" Adalyn asked while looking down at the top.

"Alright? It's awesome! Buy it!" Coco exclaimed.

"Okay." Adalyn laughed at Coco's enthusiasm and went back in the stall. After wearing her original outfit back, she got out of the stall and went to explore more.

At the end, Adalyn bought two tops and Coco bought a top and a beautiful pair of jeans.
