๐™„๐™‰ ๐™’๐™ƒ๐™„๐˜พ๐™ƒ โ€” the Zodiac Signs are demi-gods a part of an ancient prophecy that claims they will be the end of everything, as we know it. Only problem? They're unaware of their divinity.

โ €Everything must start somewhere. Every flower has come from a seed, and as such, everything begins with creation. Diametrice was the beginning of the Titans. A cold, barren planet which lacked any sustenance, the most light it received was from the four moons, which cycled through it. The first moon in the cycle was where Paideis ascended from. Paideis was the first of the ten titans. An immediate understanding of who he was, and what he was there for was granted to him. He was the God of Gods, king of kings. The universe was his.

Being the first creation the universe had to offer was odd, especially seeing how he was destined to rule it. What was even stranger was watching the moon cycle occur. Paideis didn't care for the stars in the sky, or even the light the moon produced. He could have walked eons without any food or water, and never have found himself weary. What piqued his interest was the other Titans, who would come from the moons, just as he had. All of which would know who they were from the minute they were born.

It wasn't until the creation of Tusna that the concept of more than Titans and the cosmos was fathomed. Tusna was the Titan of creation. The first thing Tusna would create was Earth. A simple planet, in which the ground was fertile and the vast plains were fruitful. It didn't seem useful for much. Just a test subject for Tusna, as she got a grasp of her abilities.

The Titans didn't end with Tusna. They didn't end until Este, the titan of life, appeared. Este had seemed harmless enough, obedient and complicit in every plan that the Titans compiled. She worked closely with Tusna, populating their Earth. It seemed like a silly project at the time.ย  Though, how was Paideis to know that she had been plotting his demise? That she had been yearning for the power that he had? Este would try to kill him in his sleep. It was a dark night, just as any other, and she betrayed his trust with such little effort that Paideis must admit; he was fearful. Eternity had never seemed so short, and death had never seemed so close.

Este had craved the authority he had, she had wanted to be unquestionable. The God of Titans, just as Paideis. The want brewed in her, bitter as she could have been. How could you have everything, and yet feel there was so much more to gain? That was something that Este had realized from her time with the Titans. Even if there had once been nothing, there were now endless possibilities, and she didn't wish to miss out on them. Este saw a clear path for the future, and that was with her on-top. Obviously, her attempted assassination would fall through, seeing how the other Gods were far too loyal.

The only reason Este hadn't been able to complete her goal was Manteir, the titan of beasts, had overpowered her. After such a reckless act, the Titans agreed that Este would be best dealt with, and rather than giving her the release of death, she would be condemned to an unbreakable cage, which the Titans had constructed with the amassing amounts of constellations in the sky. Blessed by the titans themselves, the constellations were the only things that could hold them. Este was forced into the cage, every one of them turning their back on her. Even Tusna, who she had once adored.

As time passed after the incident of Este's Betrayal, she did not disappear. No, she couldn'tโ€“ she was far too powerful, no matter what Paideis would like to believe. Her effect was long-lasting. Tusna would take over where Este had left humanity. For Tusna, it was therapeutic, a lost relic of Este, who she had so loved. Of course, turning her back on her didn't show that, but in her own way, taking care of the humans was a way of loving from a distance. A month after Este's Betrayal, Phinnaeus, the titan of oracles, would receive a prophecy.

Twelve shall rise when the stars align, born of dust yet bound by fate.

Hidden gods in mortal skin, their past erased, their power asleep.

When Titans wake and shadows call, the twelve must stand or darkness falls.

For in their hands, the end begins.

Paideis was paranoid, shaken by the foretold future. Nothing would last forever, would it? Just as they had once come, a new age would eventually. This... Twelve was that new age. They were to replace the Titans, and Paideis was willing to give anything to prevent this. That was when he met with Este, accompanied by Tusna and Manteir, of course. Tusna, as a hope to appeal to Este, and Manteir since... He was the only being strong enough to guarantee the defeat of another titan. He asked her one thing. For the destruction of humanity, he would grant her her freedom from her containment. If there was no humanityโ€“ there could be no prophecy. And there would be no end to the Titans.

Tusna, obviously, did not approve of this plan. The destruction of humanity was the destruction of her labor, and the end of what had been her only way of caring for Este since the act of treason. As a result of her distaste, she would bicker at Paideis, as if he wasn't trying to save all of them. Manteir, attempting to calm the both of them, did not do his job in overseeing Este, who viewed this as the most grand opportunity that she would ever receive. Freedom was no longer what she wanted, power was not on her mind. No, she wanted revenge.

The Zodiacs would be forged in that moment. Thirteen Gods formed from the bonds of the constellations that Este had made. Formed in less than a moment's notice, they would take physical form. None of them were aggressive, or even seemed to be aware of what they had been created for. Unlike the titans, they were in need of guidance. Manteir, shocked by the sudden protrusion of the Gods, would kill the thirteenth zodiac, Ophiuchus. This would send Este onto the defense, as she watched one of her creations be destroyed by the reckless titan. Though, her weakened state from her containment would prevent her from taking any further action.

Paideis realized he had little to no option other than to abandon his plan. Commanding that Manteir back down, as to refute the titans from engaging in straight warfare, which would result in the massacre of Este and her Zodiacs. Tusna offered Paideis to take the signsโ€“ who had been terrified from the sudden chaos upon their birth from stardust. And just like that, the Zodiacs were ripped away from Este, and she would be locked up again. The key is thrown as far as the eye can see, no care given by Paideis.

Tusna had expected to care for the signs, though by the time they had arrived back to Diametrice, he demanded they be handled. Tusna had been hesitant, unsure of what that entailed. She had plenty of optionsโ€“ killing them just as Manteir had Ophiuchus, locking them away in another prison of constellations. Though, it became apparent quickly that they were far more special than the human creations of Earth. The Zodiacs were Gods in their own right, each of them blessed with a domain that Tusna could only try to understand. They had potential, and Tusna would refuse to see it wasted.

With little thought, asking nobody for their approval, Tusna sent the Zodiacs to Earth. She proclaimed that they were banished, though Paideis would see right through her. In his paranoia, he only viewed her option to spare the Zodiacs as betrayal of his divine word. And as you may know, he would not take betrayal kindly. Despite Tusna's many contributions and continued loyalty to her fellow titans, she would be encased alongside Este in the constellations. It was in such little time, and yet Tusna would feel the grief of a thousand lifetimes, as now only the Zodiacs could watch over the precious Earth which she and Este had so delicately crafted.

Though, this all happened many years ago. The Zodiacs were not shy to make their claim on Earth, defining themselves as divine rulers. They were Gods afterallโ€“ only in human form. The Zodiacs would enjoy different types of worship, becoming symbols of divinity and power for the humans, who had known nothing of the titans to this point. Eventually, each of the Zodiacs would have produced at least one demi-god, right? Of course, at varying times, not every God would enjoy their newfound power the same! Though, as time changes, and we hit the year 1467, the Titans are making fatal choices.

Paideis has become crazed throughout time due to his paranoia, shaken by the ever growing fear of being overthrown. He has sent Manteir to the Earth, allowing him to produce whatever beasts he must, and cause Hell to reign downโ€“ as long as the Zodiacs are killed. Blissfully unaware of the creation of their demi-gods, who will take their place, Earth is in shambles, as the populations grasp with the death of those who they had considered all-knowing, all-powerful.

ย  ย  As if nothing had changed, Manteir would return to Diametrice. Leaving the destruction of the Gods in his path, and what humans fear to be the end of civilization as they know it. Worldwide panic has washed over in waves, and there is one question left, which rings across Earth like a prayer unansweredโ€“ what comes next? Would the Titans wipe out human society? Or would the prophecy come into effect before they were able to? Only time can tell, and the clock surely is ticking. There's only so much time left before things come to a close, right?

Sooo I was really just trying to get this lowkey prologue out, so I could get opinions on the plot premise. But yeah, I'm coming back to Zodiacpad with a Zodiac applyfic๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ˜ป. Very similar to the plot of Honeymoon, but I feel I've developed it far more than I had Honeymoon. The actual plot will drop soon, but this is the teaser for ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐‚๐‡๐€๐ˆ๐. Hope y'all just loved this, and I'm planning on become very much active again. Love y'all!!๐Ÿ‘…๐Ÿ‘…
Also, excuse me if this is a bit rushed!! I'm in school, and won't have much time to get this released outside of it.
