Nervously sitting in the bedroom, your leg bounced up and down. What were you nervous about exactly? You couldn't seem to figure it out. Hours ago, Aran came knocking on the door-months since the last time you saw him. It threw you off guard. Way off guard. His questions about you and his situation-ship from months ago still plagued his mind for some reason. And most of all, he wanted to talk with Suna, his ex-best friend.
You snapped out of your thoughts hearing the front door open, knowing that it was Suna finally coming home after a long day. You slowly stood to your feet, walking out of the room to see him standing at the end of the hall, duffel bag in hand with a tired look on his face. Suna turned as he heard the floorboard creak. A small smile formed on his lips at the sight of you walking towards him, "there's my girl." Suna chuckled.
You giggled at the nickname, opening your arms wide enough to greet him with a hug, "hi, baby." Your arms wrapped around Suna, his wrapping around your waist to hug you back. Suna placed a kiss on your neck, "how was your day?" He asked, pulling away from the hug. Instantly remembering what happened a few hours ago, you shrugged your shoulders at his question, hesitating to answer, "it was...okay." You nodded.
Suna furrowed his brows at your hesitation, picking up his bag before making his way to the bedroom, "you sure?" Suna questioned, looking back over his shoulder as you followed close behind him. Silence. Suna turned into the bedroom, tossing his bag into the corner of the room. "Y/n?" Suna questioned again, calling your name in a sing-song voice. "Hm?" Brows raised, you looked at him.
"I asked if you were sure." Suna chuckled at your awkwardness, grabbing the hem of his shirt and pulling it over his head, exposing his toned torso. You and Suna decided that communication and honesty is the best way keep this relationship going. After the many misunderstandings and arguments you guys had over little things, you knew deep down that you had to tell him or he would figure out one way or another. "Aran stopped by." You blurted out.
Suna snapped his head towards you, tossing his shirt in the dirty clothes hamper without looking, "aran?" Suna's eyes never broke from yours. Nodding, you answered, "he wanted to apologize for the fight you and him had...and he wanted to apologize to me too," You plopped down on the bed, breaking your gaze from Suna's. "Rin, Aran told me he fucked up...real bad." You sighed. "The hell do you mean?" His brows knitted together in utter confusion.
"The group broke up. No one talks to one another anymore. I didn't even know-we didn't even know. It's been months since we last saw them. Aran said after the fight, he said some things about everyone that he shouldn't have said and...yeah." Eyes flickering up to Suna's, you saw his face soften. There was silence in the room besides Suna shuffling around, looking for clean clothes to wear after his shower.
It was like Suna didn't care. And you couldn't blame him. It's been months since he last talked to his friends. And sometimes, friends just stop talking to each other, but to see the vast difference between when you first met Suna and now, blows your mind. Suna would always be around his friends, acting like a bunch of immature boys even though they were in their third year or college. But now, all Suna does is work and come home to you. He's changed and you weren't sure why. The Suna you met would have cared about this, he would have contacted his friends a long time ago.
"Rin, what is going on? It's like you don't even care." You spoke your mind, waiting for any sign of concern from your boyfriend about the situation. "And why do you care, y/n?" Suna shut the dresser drawer, sighing in annoyance. You were taken back by his question, "excuse me?" You blinked. Suna turned around to look at you, holding a shirt in his hand, "I asked why do you care? They weren't your friends. Leave it alone, alright? It was a long time ago. Shit is done and over with." Suna said in annoyance.
"Well excuse the fuck out of me, I thought maybe you'd have a little fucking sympathy for your friends. The old you would care so much, Suna! You'd do anything for your friends! And now you're acting like you don't care? You've changed." You stood to your feet, making way for the living room. You didn't need to get into an argument with him at the moment. "The old me?!" Suna chuckled out of slight anger. You ignored him.
Suna followed after you, "the old me, y/n?" Suna asked again. No answer. Suna's hand wrapped around your arm, pulling you back towards him. "Let go." You said sternly, staring at him. "The old me? Really? You really think I've changed?" Suna had a slight smirk on his, like he was finding this whole thing amusing. Your brows furrowed at his attitude. Why was he acting like this? "Yeah, Suna. The old you. Now let go." Snatching your arm from his grip, you walked over to the couch and sat down, avoiding his gaze.
"You've gotta be fucking kidding me," Suna laughed to himself. "You want the old me back? Fine by me baby. I'll go back to fucking every girl I find attractive, and I'll start making porn again too. You remember that part right, baby?" Suna eyed you, an enthusiastic tone in his voice. Your eyes narrowed, "the fuck did you just say?" You asked in anger, standing to your feet. "You want the old me back, that's fine. I can do that. I've been dying to do that!" Suna smiled at you.
"Suna, what the fuck! That is not what I meant when I said the old you! I'm talking about the part of you that cared and loved everyone around you!" You yelled, stepping towards him. "Well I'm not." Suna quickly answered. You scoffed, "really?" You asked, raising your brows. Suna didn't utter a word, he just nodded his head at your question. "Fuck you." You grabbed the promise ring off your finger, tossing it at him. The jewelry bounced against the wooden floor as Suna failed to catch it.
"Give it to some bitch that can tolerate your bullshit. If that's what you really want, I'm done. We're fucking done. Fuck your promises, fuck your gifts, fuck your money, and fuck your attitude. Go do what you wanna do Suna. I'm not there to stop you anymore." You bumped shoulders with him as you walked into the bedroom. Grabbing your phone from the charger, you made a quick call to Haru.
"Hello?" He answered, his voice groggy. "Hi, can you come get me?" You asked, picking up your bag from the closet to start packing your clothes. "At Suna's?" Haru asked. You could hear him shuffle in the background. "Yeah." You sighed. "Ah shit. You sound pissed." Haru noticed. "I am. Just please hurry, I don't wanna be here any longer than I need to." You clenched your jaw, shoving your shirts into the bag. "Yeah, yeah, I'm already walking out the door. I love you, kay?" Haru shut the door to his house behind him, car keys in hand. "I love you too, drive safe."
Hanging up the phone, you tossed it on the bed. From the corner of your eye you could see Suna walk into the room. No words were exchanged between you two. His eyes were glued to your figure as you walked back and forth, grabbing your clothes and shoes to pack away. The bag was already getting too full. With a sigh, you zipped it up, "I'm getting the rest of shit tomorrow. When are you gonna be home?" You asked, not making eye contact with him as you snatched your charger from the wall. "Don't know."
"Well, let me know. Not leaving anything of mines here for some other girl to use," You let your smart remark slip past your lips. "House key is on the nightstand." Throwing the bag over your shoulder and grabbing your phone with the other hand, you walked past Suna. "Who's picking you up?" He asked, following you down the hall. You silently scoffed, rolling your eyes as you stood in front of the door and slipped on your shoes, "none of your business."
"Really, y/n?" Suna was annoyed. "Really, y/n?" You mocked him. Suna sucked his teeth, "whatever." He turned around, walking back into his bedroom. "Yeah, whatever." You opened the front door, closing it behind you as you waited on the steps for Haru.
