After 1 month

In this 1 month things were moving smoothly for Rishbala & to Madhu's wonder deepali was ever so polite & calm with them leaving her cold nature .. She was behaving as if she was slowly recovering from her heart break & understanding the situation & trying to cope up with everything but Madhu was uncomfortable around her especially the fact that she still has the magalsutra tied around her neck by her husband & sindoor on her forehead in his name & Madhu didn't like it a bit she was his wife not that deepali .. Even though Rk is also uncomfortable with deepali still wearing the nuptial chain & sindoor he couldn't say anything on that given that she only started to recover from her pain.. Madhu had thought deepali would leave soon but she had played well & put an act of deciding to find a job in Mumbai itself & settle in there as her family wouldn't accept her if she told them the truth & as always Rk felt sorry for her offered her a job in his company which she denied politely saying she wanted to get a job by her own then he asked her to stay there till she finds a suitable job & move in to a different apartment which she also tried to deny or acted as if trying to deny but later agreed pissing off Madhu more..

"Ok, now say why you look grumpy today..??"Rk asks Madhu she sat on the couch sulking ..

"It's been a month since she is staying here.. Didn't she yet find a job..??"Madhu asks angrily..

"Madhu, you know na how tough it is to get a good job in Mumbai .. Give her some time she will surely find one.."Rk tells her calmly.. His biwi was being grumpy since few days now..

"Why don't you help her?? Like recommending her to any good firm..??"Madhu asks him hopefully..

"She doesn't take my help or else I would have done it without you saying itself .."Rk tells her..

"Then throw her out of our home .. I don't want that cunning lady in our home .."Madhu tells him.. Rk couldn't control his temper anymore .. she was being noisy unnecessarily now a days.."Why are you talking like that?? What did she ever do to you..??"Rk angrily asks her .. "Are you taking her side..??"Madhu asks him outraged.. "I'm not taking anyone's side I really don't get what you have against her.."Rk tells her.. "You are blind to not see it, Rk .. she here to separate us.."Madhu almost shouts at him.. Rk sighs tiredly he knows she is mad at him now she only called him Rk when she was angry at him.. "Fine I will do something .. Tmr is holi, Madhu I really don't want to argue with you & go to bed in a foul mood.."Rk tells her tiredly .. Madhu looks at him for a while then without saying anything she forward her hands towards him.. Seeing him looking confused at her gesture she tells as if nothing happened "What..?? Carry me to bed I'm sleepy .."..He looks her bewildered for a moment before taking her in his arms & saying in wonder "Seriously, you have split personality disorder ..".. She grins hearing him .. Rk puts her on bed & gets on the other side of the bed ..

"Tmr I will put colour on you first .."Madhu tells him as he turns off the lights..
"Hmm.."Rk just hums..

"You on me.."Madhu tells him again ..

"Hmm.."he again hums .. Madhu turns to his side irritated "Are you even listening ..??"

"Yes.."he tells him.. "So what did I tell you..??"Madhu asks him to test him.. "Tmr you want to put colour on me first & I on you.."Rk tells her calmly ..

"Hmm.."She just hums though she wanted to ask why he did sound so off she didn't as she somehow felt that he is in no mood to answer her questions..

"Goodnight, Rish.."

"Good night, Madhu.."& with that they go to sleep..

Morning

Rk opens his eyes hearing small voices in the room .. As he comes wide awake he saw Madhu walking across the room in hurry in her bathrobe .. He looks on curiously as she opens the wardrobe & starts rampaging through the cloths.. Then he saw her pick up a white salwar with small stone works .. He slowly sits up on the bed & watches on as she goes in front of mirror & looks at top placing it on her .. She notices him watching her through the mirror & turn back to smile at him.. Rk smiles back seeing her smiling at him.. She looked beautiful in that pink bathrobe ..

"Aren't you getting ready..?? It's already 8.30.."Madhu informs him as she walked to the washroom to get changed.. Rk gets down the bed walks around to look at the white kurta she had kept on the bed for him.. It's been years since he had holi .. Holi was the festival of happiness but there wasn't any happiness in his life for years.. He shakes his head smiling looking at the kurta, now it was a new start & Madhu seems excited to play the holi even he was .. From past few days things weren't smooth between them & he wanted to mend all the problems between them today & wanted everything normal between them like before but somehow his subconscious said that something was going to happen & it wasn't the good kind of something .. Madhu comes of the washroom in her white salwar & sees Rk lost in thoughts .. She walks towards him & snaps his fingers before him & he comes out of his thoughts & looks at her..

"Heyy, aren't you getting ready, Rish..?? Go freshen up & get ready soon.."Madhu tells him slightly pushing him towards the washroom.. Once she sees Rk close the door she walks to the bedside table.. Opening the drawer of the table she takes out a packet of red colour powder from it & filled it on the plate which she kept on the table.. As soon as he steps out of the washroom she is going to colour him as she didn't want to take a chance with the vamp well blame all the serials she had watched ..

She sits on the bed waiting for him to come back from his shower.. After sometimes she starts to get bored by waiting so she takes her phone to keep herself busy till he come back .. She goes to whatsapp & finds trishna online & she knew what to do next ..

"Heyy.."She sent the msg & in few seconds it showed 'seen'..

"Hi, Madhu.. Happy holi.."comes trish's reply..

"Happi holi .. what's up..??"Madhu asks her ..

"Was leaving to play holi.. Haven't you leave yet..??"Trish asks her ..

"Not yet .. Rish is getting ready only.."Madhu replies back..

"Oh.. Then come to video chat I have some more time before leaving it's been a while since I saw you.."Trish texts her..

"Ok..!!"Madhu happily agrees as she tapped the video chat icon..

"Hey, Trish ,,"Madhu smiles & excitedly waves at Trishna as soon as her face came on screen..

"Hey, Madhu.."Trishna smiles back ..

"OMG..!! are you wearing a saree ?? How come??"Madhu asks acting disbelief seeing trishna in simple white saree "How did you even managed to wear it without messing up??"Madhu tells her laughing while Trish rolls her eyes ..

"Oh plz it's been yrs & at least I learned to drape a saree but look at you I bet you still haven't learned to drape a saree that you're still sticking to salwar.."It was Trish's turn to laugh & Madhu to roll her eyes..

"Oh plz I knew to drape a saree better than you before & now I'm best at it .. It's just saree is hard to manage that's why decided on salwar.."Madhu tells her suddenly Trishna's face freezes on the screen while she could still hear her talking..

"Madhu I can't see you clearly .."Trish tells her ..
"Even me maybe range problem wait I'm walking out.."& she walks out the room holding the phone & once she was outside the house she looks at the screen again & now Trishna's face was clear ..

"So where were we..??"Madhu asks her ..

"Sarees & salwars .."Trish tells chuckling ..

"Ya..Ya.."Madhu grins.. They did chat for a little as it was time for Trish to leave for holi celebrations.. Once the chat ended Madhus walk to her home..

Madhu walks into the bedroom only watch the shocking scene .. The vamp was wishing holi to her husband cheerfully & he was staring at her as if he had seen some ghost & he had colour on his face!! What the hell??

Rk hears someone gasp turns at the direction only to see Madhu standing on the doorstep with shock evident on her face .. He closes his eyes & mutters under his breath "Shit!!".. Following his gaze Deepali's gaze falls on Madhu & she runs to her smiling ..

"Happy holi, Madhu.."& with that she applies colour on her face "Come soon na.. We have to leave for the holi celebrations soon" & with that she goes from there leaving Madhu even more shocked .. Did she just apply colour on her too..??.. Madhu feels like go behind her & break her both arms so she will never dare to apply colour on anyone ever .. She turns to look at Rk & he was looking at her shocked .. Seeing her glaring at him his shocked expression turns into a frown "What..??".. Madhu angrily marches towards him & grabs him by his collar "Didn't I tell you Mr. Rishabh Kundra that I will put colour on you first ..??"She angrily asks him..

"How come I know she was going to put colour on me?? I just come out of washroom & she was in our room & she put colour on me just like she put on you.. I didn't even get the get the time to think.."Rk tells her & waited for Madhu to lash out at him.. She was sensitive in the matter of Dips .. But unlike Rk thought she got a lil upset instead of getting angry at him..

"Aren't you angry at me ..??"Rk asks her seeing her sad..

"What's the point in getting angry at you?? It was not your fault & already I was making you upset by getting angry at you for no reason from a while now I know you & I trust you Rish but .."she pauses for a moment before continuing "You trust me right..??"Madhu asks him & Rk nods his head..

"Then trust me Deepali meant no good for us, she still wants you for that she wants me out of your life.."Madhu tells him .. Rk looks at her not knowing what to say so Madhu tells him "Anyways let's not talk about this now it's holi today so only celebration today.."Madhu tells him by giving him a big smile & he smiles back at her "Wait I will just come now.."Madhu tells as she goes out of the room leaving Rk in deep thinking .. If what Madhu telling was truth then he wanted to know it .. If Dips was here to separate him & his biwi then he wouldn't tolerate it ..

He goes out of the room to see dips .. He needed clear up few things .. Rk sees dips sitting on a couch in the living hall .. He goes to her & stands just behind her & sees her looking at their old holi pic in her phone.. "Was Madhu right?? Does dips really has some evil intentions behind her stay here..?? "he thinks.. Seeing her so lost gazing at their pic he clears his throat to make her aware of his presence .. Hearing that she quickly stands up & turns back.. Seeing him standing there she gives him a nervous smile worrying whether he had seen what she was doing & if he did what would he be thinking .. She definitely doesn't want make him suspicious ..

"Hi Rk.."She nervously speaks ..

"Dips I want to talk with you .."Rk tells her .. She looks at him for a while, he looked normal.. "He didn't see anything.."She thinks & sighs in relief..

"Yeah sure.."She tells pleasantly with a gleam in her eyes which made his heart skip a beat well not in that good way .. He was familiar to this gleam.. She always had this gleam in her eyes when she was around him if it was few years back he would have definitely enjoyed & loved it but now it's not a good sign & he is definitely worried about what Madhu said being truth..

"Dips I always wanted to talk to you about this but I didn't to know how to say it or how you will take it but now it's time.."he stops for a moment to take a deep breath & dips looks at him curiously "Let's be friends.."Rk tells & she looks at him confused .. Out of blue why he felt like talk about this??

"We are already friends, Rk.."Dips tells him confused..

"I mean it's high time you should let go off our past, Dips for that free me from this relationship .."Rk tells her & she looks at him shocked .. Was he asking her for what she had been dreading?? No that can't be happening..

"What do you mean..??"She whispers in a low tone ..

"I can only see my Madhu wearing mangalsutru & sindoor of my name, dips.."Rk tells her uncomfortably.. Shit!! The all conversation itself was so uncomfortable .. Dips looks at him shocked at hurt as she heard from him what she had dreaded the most ..

"Are you talking about this ..??"Dips asks him as she gets hold her mangalsutru .. Rk looks at her tongue tied, can this conversation get anymore uncomfortable??

Seeing him so uncomfortable Dips knew he was not going to push her to give her nuptial chain back to him but he did talk about it with so difficulty means he really didn't want her anymore at least not as a wife or lover, & being good friends he definitely feel some guilt somewhere in his heart & bad for her if she did what he wanted now it will stay or maybe grow even more bigger & if she didn't it will make him more suspicious & she will loss the only change to get back to his life so she decided to do what he wanted though it would feel like tearing her heart apart she decided to bear the temporary pain for the permanent happiness .. She slowly takes her hands to the back & stops for a moment as her fingers touched the clasp of her nuptial chain.. She closes her eyes & takes in a deep breath as she unclasped it & takes it from her neck then looks at Rk who was looking at her so uncomfortably & forwarded her open fist with the nuptial chain to him..

"You have given it to me & you have all the right to take it back.. "she tells with a sad smile of course her card to make Rk feel guilty & bad .. Rk takes it from her hand without looking at her face.. "Maybe Madhu had just a small misunderstanding about Dips.."Rk thinks as he watched her wipe away the sindoor from her partition..

"We are friends.. "Dips tells smiling at him & he nods his head smiling back at her awkwardly..

Without their knowledge a third person was witnessing the entire scene was standing rooted to the ground.. "Did vamp really turn good??"Madhu thinks as she keeps looking at Dips in wonder & that's when she saw her eyes it had hint of tears in it obviously she was holding back her tears as hurt was evident in her eyes .. Madhu didn't know why but she felt bad for the vamp it's true that she doesn't like her but still it touched her heart .. It is so painful for a women to give her wedding accessories back to the man who had given it to her & she can say by the look on her face that her wedding accessories meant a lot to her .. She can never imagine herself in such a situation so she can guess what Deepali feels like now but Rk was no wrong here he did what was right.. Deepali no more had the right to wear those things for him now it was Madhu's right & it's better he had finally done it ..

Though she was feeling bad for the vamp in her life she couldn't help the smile that came on her face.. For a while she had been living with the bad feeling of some other woman claiming her right over her husband & that woman constantly trying to show her that she has only second place in his life but now all that feeling has gone, Rishabh was hers & hers alone, she's his wife none else & she only have right over him, Madhu thinks happily..

"Excuse me, I will go bring the breakfast to the table.. we don't have to go for holi celebrations with empty stomach .."Dips tells & goes to kitchen seeing her going away Rk sighs, seems like he had forgot to breath for a while..

Deepali prepared three plate with food for their breakfast .. She looks at the plates with food as she wipes away a drop of tear that flows down her cheek..

"I know it's you, Madhubala.. You made Rk do that, you took away something which was precious to me, you always did now it's time to pay back.. "She tells angrily as she takes a small bottle from the cupboard.. Opening the cap of the bottle she pours a transparent liquid to food in one of the plate & after she was done she gently stirs the food mixing the liquid with it .. She was about to take the food to the table her phone started to ring as she sees who the caller is her expression suddenly changes & she goes out to take the call.. Once she was done with the call she come back to kitchen & taking the plates with her she goes to the dining area to serve the food..

Dips keeps a plate in front of Rk & the other one which was different from the other two plates as Dips takes her food in that place so she can easily know which food was for Madhu ..

Without a word Rishbala start to eat their food & Dips too sits with them eating her food & in between keeps looking at Madhu .. As she was eating Madhu suddenly feels unwell .. She keeps her hand over her mouth as she feels like vomiting .. Leaving the food halfway Madhu run to washbasin to throw up her food seeing Madhu unwell Rk rushes to her side leaving his food..

"Madhu, what happened?? Are you ok??"Rk asks her worriedly as she continues to throw up her food .. She leans back to his chest as she feels like black spots appearing in front of her eyes & in no time there was only darkness.. Rk worriedly scoops Madhu up in his arms as she fell unconscious in his arms.. As he goes out deepali takes the food plate from which Madhu had taken her food a while ago .. She goes to kitchen & puts the balance food in dust bin.. "No more evidence .."& she tells & smiles cunningly ..

Precap : "I can't believe you did this to me, Madhu, I trusted you so much & you broke my trust.. Dips was right you are a cheater.."Rk angrily screams at Madhu who looks at him shocked & hurt at his accusation with tears in her eyes .. She couldn't believe her Rish could say something like this .. How can he even think that she would cheat on him?? He was her life & she thought he knows her more than she herself know about her but here he was thinking she cheated on him that too with that Abhay Kapoor??!!

So how is the update, friends..?? I really felt bad while writing the Dips part Ya I hate her & doesn't like her in Rishbala's life but still being a woman it's so tough to write such a scene but it was indeed as she was trying to claim over Madhu's rights, rights no women want to share with others sorry if I offended anyone & about the precap expect the unexpected ;)
