Hoseok left the Lees' residence with a very a clingy Jessica behind, and he knew she wouldn't accept him leaving. She suggested that he reflect on their relationship. Hoseok just lets out a heavy sigh , he doesn't have time to break his word. He decided what he would do. He will reflect on his sentiments and make a decision after that, but one thing is for sure: he will not get involved in another long-distance relationship. He is through! In two weeks, Jessica will be gone, and he is certain that her sole intent was to marry him, not to end their relationship permanently. She likes the high-end life-style he provided for her.

He seeks a genuine girl. After his misstep with Noémie, he understood that Jessica's infidelity had not affected him in the slightest or even hurt him. He was surprise that he didnt't care. Even when Selena provided him with the details, he seemed nonchalant about it. Still reluctant about revealing Jessica and her boss' closeness to him, she eventually did.

Compared to more qualified and experienced curators from the USA, he believed Jessica utilized sleeping with her boss to obtain the senior curatorship. Compared to her peers who worked for her boss for more than 15 years but didn't receive the job, she, a 26-year-old woman, was given the Head of Curatorship position after only four years. There was a red flag.

His father, summoned him to the estate so they could spend time together. They invited his mother as well. His mother was also invited. Thinking about the dynamic between his parents, Hoseok shook his head. When he was six years old, they got divorced, but their post-divorce relationship was pleasant if not love.

His mother claimed that she had left his father because he was disconnected from the relationship and was too busy. As the heir to a $750 billion aerospace enterprise, he was ambitious and a workaholic who kept himself very busy.

However, following the split, his father recognized how affected his mother was by his continual absence. He was not a cheat, or at least he had no knowledge that his father had a lover, unlike other of his affluent uncles, particularly Arthur's father, who frequently created tabloid scandals getting caught with his long-term mistress in overseas rendezvous. . He finally consented to the prenuptial agreement when his aunt divorced him, but she was merciful and awarded him a $80 million payout. He currently resides in Europe. He even ditched his mistress in favor of a different blond Italian model.

He and Arthur are the sole sons of their parents. Meijiwoo, Arthurs' older sister, has lived with them since he was eight years old and now works alongside his mother in their family's hotel company. But while Arthur is still working on a master's degree in business and, for the time being, enjoys spending time with his older cousin Hoseok, his granddad wants him to get his act together and start working for the company and he will take over the MD position of the Indonesian Hotel, but working for his overbearing mother was a no-go.

Standing in front of his father's palatial mansion in Sinsa Dong, a Gangnam-gu neighborhood, Hoseok smiled blissfully. The Jung siblings (his dad and aunts) were too involved in their father's business to properly care for their children, so his parents lived together in this home until his father bought his mother her own mansion, where she raised him and his older cousin and then babysitter Meijiwoo.

He drove cautiously through as the automatic gate unlocked. When the gate guard waved at him, he drove to a parking spot close to the entrance.

He noticed his dad's white Cadillac next to his mom's silver Lamborghini. When he left the Lees', Hoseok felt drained. However, he found some time to go out for a quick bite to eat with Yoongi and Yoenra in the afternoon. They were shocked to learn of his relationship with Jessica.

With Jessica nearby, Yoenra advised him to use caution when revealing any emotions to Noemie. She told Hoseok about the incident Noemie and Jessica had in Seokjins' restaurant roughly a week prior. Jessica is dangerous to the French maid since she is a jealous person.

The butler for his father led him to the exclusive dining area. Huge chandeliers, plush couches, and marble pillars at this mansion's opulent entrance constantly captured his attention. In his second year, he brought Jessica to this place for the first time to meet his parents. She was stunned and he smirked when he remembered playing hide-and-seek with Arthur. He had an unusual spot to hide.

'Good evening, young master Jung; please come to the dining room where your parents are waiting for you". He bowed warmly in greeting, their butler bowing profoundly.

Hoseok traded in his pricey dress shoes made of crocodile skin for the in-house slip-ons.

"Long time no see, Mr. Nam. How are you?"As they walked down the shiny porcelain corridor floor to the dining room, he grinned at the butler. The home of his father features a ballroom (for entertaining guests for events), three private lounges, an entertainment room, an indoor pool, a cinema, seven bedrooms, five ensuite bathrooms, and other amenities. He spent so much time in this home since he loves it that his mother urged him to choose to live with his father, but he didn't want to leave her too vulnerable all by herself. He is her protector after all.

He cracked a smile "I'm still kicking Mr. Jung. " Around his eyes, the laugh lines get deeper. Even though he is already older than sixty, he does not favor retiring. Since he was in his 30s, he has enjoyed working for the Jungs.

"I can see you are still very young...when will you marry again?" snickers Hoseok. He makes Mr. Nam laugh. He lost his wife to cancer a few years ago, but thanks to the Jungs' kindness, he was still able to send all of his children to university.

You're still your foolish self, he scoffs, "...Thanks, but no. I once met my soul mate and true love, but I lost her to death. I'm currently quite happy. Just waiting for the naughty third-generation Jungs to show up soon-" he arched an eyebrow. Hoseok simply smiles. because he knows Mr. Nam was waiting for him to tie the knot. But he knows it will be wishful thinking.

When Hoseok considers the inquiries his parents-even those from the Jung Household-always made, his face turns gloomy. They were all perplexed as to why such a charming young man hadn't proposed to his longtime girlfriend. Mr. Nam mentioned to his dad that he finds it puzzling that young people are so reluctant to enter into official marriages yet live together as married couples. He even warned Hoseok three years ago that Jessica seemed like an opportunist who wouldn't settle down right away. She has wanderlust and a desire to see the world. He should have paid attention to the gray-haired butler.

He discovered his parents enjoying a glass of red wine while seated at the dinner table.

As soon as he and Mr. Nam arrived, their eyes brightened up. He bowed while beaming to his parents and gave his mom a kiss on the cheek.

He and his dad gave each other a manly hand gesture that they created as father and son.

His father was sitting at the head of the table, and his mother gushed, "How are you doing son, I missed you over the weekend," as he pulled out a chair on his father's right-hand side. This dining room is so opulent with rich wooden panels and mirrors, a long designer marble table was in the middle with beautiful velvet white and silver striped upholstered chairs. His parents actually live the lifestyle of a billionaire and love the best that life has to offer.

" Oh, I joined the Bangtan Elite club at Jimins' lakeside cabin, It was quite a wonderful time to rest, " he told his parents. The personal waiter inquired about his preferred beverage. A little bar featuring only dinner-friendly drinks was located to the side.

He grinned up at the server and asked for a cold cider.

The father grinned as he observed him, "But you still look exhausted. How far along is the hotel development project? Your grandfather wants to attend the opening since he is so proud of you. You are aware that he granted the company sole leadership of the company over to me... he wants to retire and only do the chairman duties during board meetings etc."

"I am a little weary but it's coming along smoothly. Hopefully, it will be done in the coming six months. Arthur will be taking over the management of the hotel. He is ready to lead---" he smirked. He can't wait to see his little cousin being all serious and focussed.

"I'm thrilled to hear that. You were always closenit. Your Eomma informed me that your girlfriend is now in Seoul. Are you still on your so-called break? What a strange a relationship." His father drinks his wine and gives him a penetrating stare. Hoseok simply sighs as he puts some of his cider into a glass. He saw his father's enquiring stare and his mother's anxious countenance. He is aware that they are conscious of his recent lack of happiness.

"Seokie, talk to us," his mother says, affectionately grabbing his hand across the table." Your Appa noticed your unhappiness, which is why he gathered the family together to discuss, recover, and reflect. You know we love you, and even though you are an adult capable of making your own decisions, we still care about your well-being. What is the problem?" She seems really concerned.

Hoseok shook his head slowly. "I informed Jessica that I'm done with long-distance relationships. She's not ready to settle, and she's not even ready to let us quit permanently."

"That girl sounds selfish," his father observed, furrowing his brows. "You both decided four years ago that you would marry after completing your master's degree and have a family in Seoul. Her parents are elderly and need her to be around. So, did you split up?" His father appeared to be satisfied that he had made the correct decision.

That girl loves the material gifts from his generous son, but doesn't want to give him his desires.

"Choose what is right for you, my son," his mother encouraged.

He gave a nod. " She was so clinging and sobbing. She doesn't want us to stop taking these breaks and have a permanent split. She still wants us to remain a relationship on hiatus, but she says she'll be ready to marry me when she's 30. But, Eomma, Jessica is indecisive. I just can't do it anymore. I'm not interested in continuing a stressful relationship." His parents could see him swiping his hair backward.

"Hoseok, do you still love her?" his father said.

His mother was also watching with curiosity. Hoseok's feelings had evolved, she suspected. Jungkook and Jimin revealed a few weeks ago that a certain'French maid' is making her son reconsider his feelings for Jessica, his long-term girlfriend.

"I still have feelings for Jess...but I'm no longer passionately in love with her Appa," he exhaled softly." I quit this relationship quietly a long time ago. "I want and need more..."His eyes had a faraway look that didn't escape his parents notice.

His mum nodded and grinned, adding," Then there is your answer...Seoki. Find a way forward and move on. If I could ask, did you meet anybody else during your hiatus?" When Hoseok's face turned a bit crimson, she gave him a wide grin and discretely looked at his dad.

He nodded and bit his lower lip. "Yeah, she adds spice to my life. We actually loathed each other at first-she was infuriating...always going against me," He winced when he observed a smug grin on her lips.

"Oh my goodness, Heesung!" his mother said to his dad, clapping her hands." Seoki might be referring to Ara's daughter."

"Oh my gosh!" Hoseok moaned. What made him tell his parents? Noémie's existence in his life is well known to her.He never really kept secret for his parents. Ok some secrets.

"Really!" His father gazed at his son with hope and curiosity, saying, "He fell in love with another girl."he look flabbergasted to his wife.

"Please, Appa! We didn't discuss our feelings at all, but I know I like Noemie and want to pursue her. But Jessica made things a bit tough." Hoseok exhaled heavily.

All he knows is that he can't do what Noémie has requested of him in order to rekindle his relationship with Jess. He just can't do what she wants, and the few moments he spent in Noémie's presence brought him so much at peace, love, and happiness.

She aroused him and made his heart race frantically. He's out of breath just thinking about her soft body in his arms.

The chef served their dinner. The Jungs had an enjoyable time at the table.

"Is it little Noems?" his mother asks.

"Little Noems?" he brow wrinkled.

His mother smiled, "You two met when you were four years old and she was almost 18 months. You named her Noems. You were really adorable because you kept kissing her cheeks and telling us she was your baby...but. "His parents burst out laughing when they saw his scrunched up nose, but his eyes lit up when he tried to remember Noémie as a baby," Ara and Noems returned to Paris. Fate brought them back together.

"If you want Aras' daughter, I won't stand in your way. She's a bright, clever young lady who doesn't take your nonsense seriously- a good girl."His mother smiles knowingly.

"It's just that she doesn't want to hurt Jessica, so she urged me to work on my relationship." But, Eomma, I want Noémie"He sighs heavily, deflated.

"Give her some space, my son. Allow Jessica to leave first, and then you may pursue what you want. Go for it if you've moved on with your emotions."When his father saw the sparkle in his son's eyes, he smiled. When they discussed Noémie, his parents were astounded by his shifting demeanor. They were aware that their son had fallen in love with this girl.

His mother smirks contentedly. If everything goes as planned, her and her best friend's desires of bringing their children together will come true. But they keep it quietly so as not to alarm the two reluctant kids.

But, unbeknownst to their parents, they have no idea how far their two relationships have progressed.

All they know is that Hoseok likes the feisty girl.

After they had eaten their dessert. The family retired to the lounge to unwind. His mother informed them that her friend left to spend time with her sister and that she would return after the Diamond Exhibition.

His father gave him a penetrating, somewhat anxious look and said, "Er son...Your Eomma and I talked...and um...we decided to try again."

Hoseok, surprised, furrowed his brows, "Try again as in...being together?"

His mother grins as she sits next to his father, and his father takes his mother's hand in his and looks affectionately into his mother's eyes, which is a bit embarrassing.

""Your Eomma agreed to remarry me and allow us to be a true family," I assured her I'd work on all my weaknesses and prioritize you in my life. She was the only woman I ever loved. We've never seen other people, yet we're 'it' for each other. And I'd like to take advantage of a second opportunity with her. "I love your Eomma with every fiber of my being."

Hoseok chuckled and clapped his hands in amazement. Oh my goodness. His mother was crying as his father kissed her on the lips lovingly.

"O-ok," Hoseok said smugly." Parents, congratulations. So there will be no more sneaking around. Don't think I didn't notice Appa staying at the mansion on occasion, and Eomma taking unexpected weekend getaways. Meijiwoo and I had suspected you had been seeing one other for years---"

His parents were taken aback as he observed his Mon's flushed face and his father's chuckle.

"All right,Appa. So, when is the wedding?" he said.

"We want a very private wedding in Dubai," his mother said, looking up into his father's eyes. "Sheik Mohammed proposed his palace gardens as a courtesy to your father's lifelong relationship and business connections. Obviously, all immediate family members and Bangtan Elites with their families will attend."

"Oh wow! Congratulations once more. So am I free to leave and allow you and Eomma to get into whatever couples do ----" he grinned at his dad's unimpressed expression.

"You're not too old for the belt, young man!"When his dad waved his finger at him, he chuckled." Why don't you stay the night and enjoy your stay here? Your weekend clothes and quarters are still intact."

"Okay, then I'll go to bed early. The supper was delicious, and congratulations,Appa, on convincing Eomma to agree."He smirked as he kissed his mother good night and high-fived his father.

Hoseok just stretches out contentedly in his bedroom suite. He truly loves his parents. For years, they didn't stop loving each other.

He went to bed after a hot shower. He hadn't touched his phone and he discovered multiple text messages from Bangtan regarding his alleged breakup. Yoongi told them.

Then he noticed a text message from Jess. He sighs deeply. She refuses to accept the breakup. She is still carrying on as though the two of them are still together.

Jessica:Baby, please take your time thinking about our relationship. I forgive you for hooking up with Noemie, and I understand. Let us just spend our days together. Can we go to the new Cartier shop in Gangam-gu tomorrow? I've ordered something to wear to the exhibition. We can go out to lunch and just be friends.

His eyes widen with surprise. Is Jess for real? Is she actually forgiving him and accepting his feelings for another woman?

He still wants to be friends with her...but he will not rekindle a burnt-out relationship...
