𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 on their way back to the car when someone pulled Ethan away,

"Who is that?" Lillian asked herself as she cocked her head seeing the obsidian hair that perfectly framed the girls face.

The girl laughed as she placed her hand on the boys arm before she leaned up to whisper something into his ear. Whatever she had said caused Ethan to turn flustered as he looked to see that Lillian was still watching. Of course the girl quickly turned around making it look as though she was looking at something totally different. The conversation went on for a few long minutes of that girl attempting to flirt before Ethan came back over to the blonde.

"You ready to go?" Ethan asked as he cocked his head,

"Depends, are you ready to go?" Lillian shot back as she motioned to the girl that was still stood there,

"Sorry about her," the brunette apologised as he ran his fingers through his hair,

"She's just a friend," he explained as he could see that the girl still seemed to be irritated,

He thought it was cute.

Lillian found herself needing to bring up what she saw earlier on in the day.

"Look I'm gonna say something here that if you don't agree with promise me we will act like I never said it." Lillian sighed as she turned to him,

"If you confess to a murder then that deal is off," Ethan joked as he was still looking at the road in front of him,

"E!" The girl let out a groan as she reached out to hit him,

"You know you can tell me anything," the boy explained in a soft tone,

"So you know how you were talking to that girl from the gymnastics team today," the blonde began as she picked at her nail,

"It was more like she was talking to me," the brunette corrected her as he was met with a glare,

"But carry on," he added as he motioned to her to continue,

"It sort of made me realise something," Lillian explained as she raked her fingers through her hair,

"If it's that my outfit was ugly I will kill you." Ethan joked as he couldn't see how serious the girl was trying to be,

"I'll shut up now," he added as he was met with silence,

"I think that I might definitely still be in love with you," the girl blurted out as she squeezed her eyes shut waiting to hear what was going to happen next,

"Wow," the boy was lucky he didn't crash the car he was so surprised,

Yes he had been flirting with her for the last few weeks but he still didn't know how to react,

"Okay," he added as he was borderline speechless,

"Oh my gosh," the blondes face turned red as she realised that this was what rejection felt like,

"You can drop me off up here," she added as she saw a stop sign right in front of her,

"What no," the brunette shook his head,

"I'm serious," Lillian turned to him as she finally locked eyes with his,

"I'm sorry Lilly," Ethan apologised as he let out a sigh,

"The announcement sort of caught me off guard," he explained as he wanted to tell her that he wanted to be with her too,

But something just felt off.

"Look let's just forget that I ever said anything," the girl proposed as she opened the car door,

"I'll see you tomorrow Ethan," she added as she got out shutting the door behind her before Ethan could respond.

Lillian got back to her room in tears as she slammed the door in embarrassment.

"What's wrong?" Indigo asked as she looked up from Kelsey,

"It's E," Lillian explained as she dropped her bags,

"Is he okay?" The striker cocked her head as she thought he was hurt,

"He turned me down," the defender sobbed as she felt pathetic,

She broke up with him yet she was the one who was crawling back,

"He did what!" The brunette clenched her jaw as her girlfriend went to hug Lilian,

"Babe calm down," Kelsey mumbled as she shook her head,

"What happened?" She added as she cocked her head looking at the younger girl,

"I told him I still liked him and I was met with silence!" Lillian mumbled as she sniffed,

"I'm going to kill him," Indigo began again as she furrowed her eyebrows,

"No," Kelsey shook her head,

"Let's take care of what is in front of us," she added to the emotional girl who was in her arms,

"You're right," the brunette nodded as she looked at her roommate,

"Let's get you comfy," she added as she motioned to her to move to her bed,

It was going to be a long day with sad Lillian,

It had been over an hour and whilst the blonde had stopped crying she refused to get out of bed,

"She okay?" Luke asked as Indigo sent had him an SOS message,

"Sort of Luke," Indigo sighed as she grabbed her hand around her bag strap,

"I'll let her explain that to you," she added as it wasn't her place to talk.

"That's totally not going to scare me at all," the hockey player mumbled as his eyes went wide,

"She just needs some company right now and we have class," Kelsey explained as the boy nodded,

"Okay," Luke made the mental note to ask Lillian how those two girls knew each other,

"You've got my number if anything goes wrong," Indigo explained as she was worried,

"She's in good hands Indigo," the hockey player nodded,

"Thanks again for helping out," the girls sent the boy a wave before she walked off.

"Hey Lillian," Luke sighed as he opened the door quickly shutting it behind him.

"Go away," Lillian mumbled as she looked out of the window,

"I'm just here to talk," the brunette explained as he sat on her bed,

"What happened today?" He added as he raked his fingers through her hair as he tried to calm her down,

"I told Ethan," the blonde explained as she turned around to face him,

"What did you tell him?" the hockey player asked as he cocked his head.

"That I still had fucking feelings and he turned me down!" The soccer player groaned as she relived the memory,

"Are we sure he did that," Luke furrowed his eyebrows as he couldn't believe that Ethan had actually turned her down.

He watched as Ethan turned down multiple girls throughout the year because he wanted to get back with Lillian, but now he was going to throw all of that away and for what?

"He couldn't talk when I told him!" Lillian explained as she let out a groan,

"And what are you going to do about it?" The boy asked as he watched the girl rest her head against the headboard,

"Sit here and act like the world hates me," the girl spoke in a duh tone,

"Lill-" the brunette sighed as the girl cut him off,

"Give me one day to act like this!" The blonde pleaded as she crossed her arms,

"If you act like you're happy right now we can go get ice cream," Luke proposed as he didn't want to just sit around in the girls room all day,

"Really?" Lillian's jaw dropped at the offer,

She was excited.

"Yeah," the brunette tried to hold back a laugh at her reaction,

"Let's just dry your face first," he added as her cheeks were still wet from tears,

"Is it really bad?" The blondes jaw dropped as her lip quivered,

"No, no, no, no," Luke groaned as he watched more tears well in the girls eyes,

"Don't cry again please!" He added as the girl fell back onto her pillow,

It was going to be a long day for them.
