"𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩!"

     ELOISE woke up to the sound of her alarm ringing. "today's the day!" she thought, wasting no time to hop out of bed and going to her closet to grab the outfit she had picked out. eloise has always been a very cheerful and welcoming girl, and her attitude is no different for the kids of the isle. most of auradon (including king beast and queen belle) aren't too excited about the children of auradon's sworn enemies coming to the school, but the blonde couldn't have had a bigger smile on her face when ben told her his plan.
    
once she had gotten dressed, her outfit consisting of a knee length lavender dress with some tulle detailing around the hem, paired with a pair of pastel yellow kitten heels. eloise was just bursting at the seams with excitement, the only thing tainting her mood was the fact that her best friend wouldn't be there. since one of the villain kids invited was the evil queen's daughter, mia knew she wouldn't be welcoming to the group of vk's in the slightest, so she decided to just stay in her dorm. eloise refused to let it tamper her mood, though, because after all, she'd still have ben and audrey there with her, and she was close with them as well. she didn't know why audrey was even coming, the brunette having expressed her obvious distaste in the fact that maleficent's daughter was coming too, due to their mother's backstory, but at the same time, eloise had a hint on why audrey was coming along. jealousy has always been a big thing for audrey.

                                ꨄ𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐩ꨄ

     the time eloise had been waiting for has finally arrived. she stood with ben, audrey and fairy godmother in front of auradon prep, the marching band playing and everyone's nerves up. she saw the limousine pull in and almost jumped with joy. she saw the door open and... two boys fell out fighting over a blue scarf...? one with short white hair and chocolate all over his mouth was on the ground, and one with long brown hair and a red beanie was holding him down while trying to tug the piece of fabric out of his hands. eloise stifled a laugh. then, two girls walked out of the car, one with dark blue hair and one with purple, completely ignoring the boy's fighting. the blue girl did a spin and admired auradon with wonderstruck eyes, and the purple one didn't look too amused.

     "guys! guys! guys! we have an audience...!" the purple-haired girl reminded bluntly when she saw fairy godmother walking up.

     "just... cleaning up!" the boy with the red beanie remarks, before telling the boy on the ground to get up and helping him up.

     "leave it like you found ittttt!" fairy godmother says in a sweet voice, as eloise, ben and audrey all walk up behind her. "and by that i mean just leave it." once she says that, the boy in the red beanie throws all of his stolen junk back into the  limousine with a pout.

     "hello ladies." the beanie boy says in a flirty voice, walking up to eloise and audrey. "the name's... jay." the blonde and brunette both laugh awkwardly. audrey was dating ben and to be frank... jay wasn't eloise's type.

     "welcome to auradon prep." fairy godmother interrupts the awkward conversation, and eloise was silently thanking her for it. jay's smile fades immediately at his flirt attempt being shut down. "i'm fairy godmother. headmistress." she continues with a slight bow.

     "the fairy godmother? as in 'bibbidi-bobbidi boo'?" the purple girl cuts in, making a wand gesture with her hands.

     "bibbidi-bobbidi you know it!" fairy godmother replies cheerfully.

     "yeah, i always wondered what it felt like for cinderella, when you just appeared out of nowhere, with that sparkly wand and warm smile. and that sparkling wand..." she replies. eloise was a bit confused on her infatuation with the wand, but the isle didn't have magic, so maybe she was just curious.

     fairy godmother replies with her famous quote 'don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future.' right before ben cuts in.

     "it's so good to finally meet you all. i'm ben-"

     "prince benjamin. soon to be king!" audrey cuts in. the blue girl steps up.

     "you had me at prince. my mom's a queen which makes me a princess."

     "the evil queen has no royal status here... and neither do you." audrey says in a passive aggressive tone, and eloise bumps her with her elbow once she sees the dejected look on the evil queen's daughter's face.

     "this is audrey! and that's eloise!" ben cuts in, and then audrey interrupts him again.

     "princess audrey and princess eloise. i'm his girlfriend. right, bennyboo?" audrey says with a giggle, grabbing ben's hand as eloise waved at the vk's with a smile. she didn't get one back except for a slightly dorky one from the boy with chocolate on his mouth. it was still appreciated.

     "ben and audrey are going to show you all around, and i'll see you tomorrow." fairy godmother says, her words ending in a whisper before bursting into the silence. "the doors of wisdom are never shut! but the library hours are from 8:00 to 11:00 and as you may have heard i have a little thing about curfews." she says, and all of the isle kids laugh politely before she walks off. there's a beat of silence before ben speaks up again.

     "it is so, so, so good to finally meet you all." he says, going to give everyone a handshake but jay gives him a friendly punch to the chest, which makes his breath falter slightly. he gets to the purple girl, and she looks at him cautiously while shaking his hand. it's silent with them staring at each other before ben talks again. "this is a momentous occasion, and one that i hope will go down in history..." he trails off after shaking chocolate boy's hands, "is that chocolate?" he asks sweetly, and the boy gets it off of his hand. "as the day our two peoples began to heal-"

    "or the day that you showed four peoples where the bathrooms are." the purple girl cuts in.

     "a little bit over the top?"

     "a little more than a little bit." she replies with a chuckle.

     "well, so much for my first impression."  they both laugh, looking at each other before audrey cuts in. eloise braced herself for this.

     "hey! you're maleficent's daughter, aren't you? yeah, you know what? i totally do not blame you for your mother trying to kill my parents and stuff. oh, my mom's aurora. sleeping-"

     "beauty! yeah, i've heard the name. you know, and i totally do not blame your grandparents for inviting everyone in the whole world but my mother to their stupid christening."

     "water under the bridge."

     "totes!" she replies before they both let out impossibly fake laughs. eloise felt a bit uncomfortable with it. was this really how audrey wanted to make a first impression?

     "okay! how about a tour, huh?" ben cuts in before he starts explaining the history of auradon prep. he claps and the king's statue turns into his beast form, and carlos screamed and jumped into jay's arms. ben reassured him and explained why it transformed, then the group walked into the building. mal asked about magic and wands yet again, which made eloise think, but due to her kindness, she overlooked the red flags and deemed it as curiosity yet again. ben explained to the vk's how eloise would help them with their class schedules, and their dorms. ben and audrey said their goodbyes before eloise finally got her turn to shine.

     "hi guys! i'm rapunzel's daughter! and my dad is eugene- wait, i'm not supposed to call him that name- flynn..." she trailed off, seeing the blue girl staring at her.

     "evie. evil queen's daughter." she said in a slightly flirty voice, walking up to eloise slowly, who was oblivious to the flirting.

     "okay-! so about your classes, i put in the requirements already, history of woodsmen and pirates, safety rules for the internet, and uh.." she trailed off again, seeing mal at her shoulder reading off the list, "remedial goodness 101." she choked out. mal scoffed.

     "lemme guess, new class?" the blonde just nodded in response, the curls in her hair bouncing with the movement. "c'mon guys, lets go find our dorms." mal says, and all four head up the wrong staircase.

     "oh- um, your dorms are that way, guys!"
eloise says with a sweet smile. they all run up to their dorms, and it gives eloise a moment to think. they all seemed nice, especially the evie girl. maybe she'll make some friends?

ahh! first official chapter of candy! i swear, even if evie was already kinda flirty, they won't be together in like, two chapters, also, doug's role AND girl got stolen😔 sorry king. but it's okay eloise will do the role justice! hope you liked! and if you have any tips, please lmk!
