It's the eerie silence for me.

A/n: Drawing has become more difficult lately and my head is throbbing. I freaking hate headaches, and interrogations.

WARNING: THERE'S A SCENE WHERE THERE'S VOMIT IS INCLUDED. There are no explicit details just a person vomiting.

3rd Point of View.

Matteo once told Kyomi that Grimaldi is a beautiful place full of green trees and pretty houses, how it's always so bright even during the cloudy days, how many people are so vibrant early in the morning.

Grimaldi is called the Town of Happiness in the past.

Kyomi thinks, not anymore.

Because the town before them resembles more of a ghost town, monochrome, dull, dark, silent.

All windows and doors are closed, even shops.  A tumbleweed is seen rolling down the street, the town is completely deserted.

Kyomi bets Tsunahime is already thinking the worst.

"It feels so lifeless here." Tsuna whispers, as if something will jump on them if their voice goes above that of a whisper. Hayano planted herself on Tsuna's side, all rings on her fingers ready to use them whenever it's possible.

"There's a trail of ice there." Hayano points southwest of the town, where the building (that are connected to one another) is separated. There is a dirt path that leads them farther away from the town, and more to the forest.

Unlike the dull tone of the place, the forest is more vibrant, natural sunlight seeping through the green leaves leaving an ethereal glow. Usually you can hear crickets but it was eerie silent.

Too silent.

Like there's no sign of life in this whole woods.

"So these phantoms leave an ice trail wherever they go?" Tsuna peeks at Hayano. The woman nods, "That's how cold they are."

"Where is this headed?" Kyomi asks no one in particular, and Alaude answers with a clipped tone, "My men's base." he grits his teeth and Kyomi made s mistake glancing at him.

Because fucking hell, is that a canine tooth?

Who knows the cloud guardian has a fang-like tooth.

He really is a carnivore.

Kyomi only hummed, redirecting her attention on the path, walking farther away from the man, who became confused at her reaction.

"Hurry up." was all the woman said.

They arrived at a dark spot in the forest, a big shed, a bit mussy, is there standing tall and covered by old thick tress. It's a bit creepy.

Hayano and Tsuna wisely closed their mouths for any comments, Hayano wanted to tell how creepy the shed is while Tsuna wants to ask if it's comfortable for his men to sleep in a place like this, especially during winter.

Alaude, without a thought, entered the shed, kicking the door opened and not caring if he broke the hinges. He stepped in, letting his sight get use in the dark. Once he got used to it, he stepped further inside, Kyomi followed then Tsuna and finally Hayano.

The shed is strangely colder inside, the earthy smell invaded their nose, the smell stings and Tsuna instinctively scrunches her nose.

There's something odd about it, the temperature is oddly cold, almost below freezing temperature, she can see her breath every time she breathes, and the smell...

There's an underlying metallic and rotten smell.

She suddenly hears a whine behind her and whirls, she sees Hayano covering her nose with her hand, eyebrows knit together in discomfort, "Hayano?"

The mention of her friend's name had Kyomi turn around, Alaude stopped advancing forward and looks at them.

Hayano is hunched forward, a hand pressed against the lower half of her face looking like she's about to vomit. Tsuna steps forward and grasps her free hand, wrapping her hand around her forearm and pulling her out of the shed, turning slightly, she tells them, "I'll see what's wrong with her. Please excuse us."

The two women steps outside leaving the two skylarks. Kyomi spent a hot minute looking at the door before turning back and passed Alaude.

"Let's go." Kyomi says to the man.

"Hn." was all he could say before following her deeper into the house.

With Tsuna and Hayano.

Tsuna kept her hand pressed firmly on Hayano's back as the woman is hunched over a bush and spills the content of her stomach.

"Take all the time you need." Tsuna whispers soothing words to the woman, rubbing comforting circles on her back. With another retch, Hayano is done.

She crouched and covered her face, sighing, "I'm sorry, Decima. The smell was too much for me and- then the cold, it was too much and-"

"Hey, hey, hey." Tsuna moved and crouched in front of her, peeling away her hands and cupping her friend's face, forest green eyes looks at her apologetically. Her friend's beauty never fails to mesmerize Tsuna, Hayano is just so beautiful. If Tsuna was a man, she would've fallen in love with her.

Tsuna smiles at her expression, so endearing for a woman who used to be hotheaded. "It's alright, it's no one's fault. We can't control it, okay? As long as you are okay now then we're good. Are you good?" This is a normal occurrence, much to their sadness.

Hayano nodded, it was barely noticeable, but Tsuna detected it. She smiled in relief and lets go of her face. Do you want us to stay here?" she asks Hayano in a soft voice while passing her a flask filled with water, not wanting to pressure her.

It took Hayano two minutes to answer.

"Yes, please."

And they spent the rest of time in silence.

With Kyomi and Alaude.

Just as Kyomi though, the shed is bigger on the inside.

They delved further in a seemingly never ending hallway before stopping at a door, Kyomi raised her leg and kicks the door violently, dust flies everywhere but Kyomi is not bothered. Behind the door is a staircase that leads them down to the basement.

Kyomi clicks her tongue.

She turns to Alaude, "Go first." she orders with a glare.

Now, usually, Alaude snaps at whoever orders him, whether it's a man or a woman, he doesn't care. But there's something about her annoyed expression that he finds amusing, and for some reasons, he wants her to be more annoyed. So he asks the most irritating question ever.

"Why?"

He bits back a smirk when Kyomi's glare intensified, her lower lip jutting out. "So you can die first." she answered so bluntly. Alaude rolls his eyes and passed her, purposely brushing against her. Kyomi's eye twitched at the momentary physical contact, itching to bonk his head with one of her tonfas.

The more they descend, the darker it gets, it chills Kyomi, who usually appreciates silence.

But this kind of silence...

...it unnerves her.

Out of reflex, her hand lounges forward and grabs the sleeve of Alaude's trench coat, halting the man from going down. He turns his head and looks at the ravenette with a raised eyebrow.

Kyomi stubbornly glared but kept her grasp, tightening it even more, "I don't want you to get lost." was all she said.

Alaude looks at her, not impressed because why would he get lost in a building he owns?

"Sure."

Kyomi could only growl on the back of her throat upon hearing the tone of his voice. He's amused.

He's laughing at her, she's certain of it.

'Hmph.' Kyomi glared at the back of his head.

A/n: I suggest you guys to remember the small things that is happening, like Tsuna and Takemi mentioning Mikuri's stubbornness, Hayano vomiting and such because they also play a role in the girls' love lives.
