"The Story of Shin Nu is a myth!" Jiang Cheng yells.

"The risks are too high to ignore." Xichen says.

"But he only has half." Grandfather says.

I turn to Lan Zhan. I have no real clue what is happening, but I get the gist. I look at my flute. Shin Nu... he sounds like me. We traded our souls for power and vengeance. He must have been really pissed. Lan Zhan looks at me. I shrug and continue trying to pay attention.

"Why should we send people after him when he has not claimed the entire piece yet?" Jin Guangyao asks.

"He has already one piece that makes him a threat." Xichen says.

"But... what can we do about it?" Jiang Cheng asks.

"Someone has to get the second piece." Grandfather says.

"No one knows where the second piece is." Jin Guangyao hisses.

"There are people who have heard the rumors." Xichen says.

"Rumors are not reality." Jiang Cheng says.

"We still have to." The monk says.

He lowers his head.

"You have not seen this man. He killed everyone. He is already a demon and now he is aided with the dagger of Shin Nu." The Monk says.

"So... someone has to chase a myth? Who would be stupid enough to do that?" Jin Guangyao asks.

"I'll go." I stand up.

Everyone looks at me in surprise.

"You? Why would an orphan go?" Jin Guangyao asks.

"I may be an orphan but trust me I'm more capable than you." I point out.

"Very well." Jin Guangyao says.

Lan Zhan looks at me in surprise. He stands up and grabs my hand. 

"I'm going with you." Lan Zhan says.

"I knew it." I chuckle.
