It has been a week since Raghav and Nithya got married. Nithya hadn't join the hospital as she was still on her leave. Raghav had opted work from home and started working.

Nithya slowly started learning cooking from her mother in law. She was helping her in cutting vegetables and tried some simple dishes first.

It was a Friday evening, Raghav and Nithya were invited for dinner at Sindhu's house.
They both got ready and went to her house.

"Finally the lovebirds are here." Shravan said and welcomed them.

"If we are love birds, then what about you mama?" Nithya asked him.

"We had an arranged marriage yaar!" Sindhu argued.

"But do you think we both forgot about your  secret dates and night outs?" Raghav told him.

"Yeah... Especially that Pondicherry trip. You lied at home that you had an audit right?" Nithya winked at them.

"Don't dare to tell this to anyone." Sindhu warned Nithya.

"We won't !" Raghav assured Sindhu.

"Come lets have dinner. Sindhu has specially tried a few dishes." Shravan told and led them to the dining hall.

Sindhu and Shravan served the dishes for the couple. They all had their dinner happily by chatting some random things.

"When are you both going for your honeymoon?" Shravan asked them casually. Raghav and Nithya looked at eachother having no answer.

"What di? Where have you decided to go? Tell me that first?" Sindhu asked.

"Erm.. we didn't think of it?" Nithya replied.

"What's there to think? Choose a place and go there for a few days. Anyways you both are still in your leave. Why don't you guys use it for your honeymoon?" Sindhu told them.

"Hmm.. we will think about it." Raghav replied thoughtfully.

"Only if you go immediately after the marriage it's called a honeymoon. Just remember that " Sindhu told them, not wanting to invade in their privacy anymore.

"How's your work mama?" Nithya asked Shravan quickly to change the topic.

Raghav and Nithya left to their home after sometime. They spoke with Sharadha about the dinner and went to their room.

Raghav was working on his laptop while Nithya took her shower and came to bed.

"Let's sleep?" Raghav asked her as she settled on bed.

Nithya nodded her head. He closed his laptop and lied next to her. He took her hand and started cracking her knuckles.

"Raghav... What do you think about Sindhu's words?" Nithya asked him slowly.

"She is right Nithya. Honeymoon is a must for all newly wed couples. In our case, everything happened so fast and we didn't get time to spend with eachother. A honeymoon will surely make our love stronger." Raghav told her.

"But?" Nithya prompted  understanding that he was going to continue.

"I am worried about amma. I know I should not be selfish... I can't help Nithya. I couldn't forget that night when amma was suffering. I can't forget her moments in the ICU." Raghav said and Nithya hugged him tight.

"I do want to spend time with you... But I am scared of leaving amma here alone." He completed.

"It's okay Raghav. I can understand your worry... As a doctor I have seen many people having this fear. It's common." Nithya consoled him.

"I'll surely try to overcome this Nithya. I promise." He said and kissed her forehead.
Soon they both drifted into sleep.

Next morning Nithya was making dosa and Sharadha was standing next to her and talking.

"Nithya... Last night Sindhu's mom called me." Sharadha informed her.

"What did perima say, athai?" Nithya asked her.

"Your perima and peripa are planning for a temple tour itseems. Even your parents are interested in it. So she asked whether I could join them."

"Wow super athai!" Nithya replied excitedly.

"I was thinking..."

"Thinking what ma?" Raghav asked her as he entered the kitchen.

"I am going on a temple tour with Nithya's parents da. Why don't you both go for your honeymoon in the meantime?" Sharadha asked him. Raghav looked at Nithya and he noticed the excitement in her eyes.

"Sure ma.. we'll go." Raghav replied happily.

Shradha went to the hall as she got a call. Nithya walked towards Raghav.

"Raghav, are you sure? Last night you told.." she started hesitantly.

"Yes, I am hundred percent sure about it!" Raghav said and pulled her closer by holding her waist. "I was insecure about leaving amma alone. Now she is going with your parents and Sindhu's parents. We can happily go for our honeymoon. You go and choose the honeymoon destination." He said and blew air on her face.

Nithya ran away from him in shyness. Raghav spoke to his inlaws and enquired about the tour plan. He went to his room and found Nithya arranging her clothes in the wardrobe.

"Why are you unpacking now?" Raghav asked as he stood next to her.

"I should empty my bag first for packing for honeymoon right?" She told and walked towards the wardrobe.

"So tell me. Where do you want to go?" He asked her with a smile.

"Anywhere Raghav." She replied with a shrug.

"Oh.. then shall we go to Parris corner? It's not even fifteen minutes from here. I can't afford a Parris trip now.. so let's go there." He told her with a wink. Nithya started beating him and he was laughing.

"Tell me Nithya. Where do you want to go?" He asked her in a serious tone.

Nithya thought for a while and said "Udaipur lake palace." She replied looking into his eyes. Raghav smiled and agreed to her wish.

They both quickly made all the arrangements for their honeymoon trip. Raghav applied leave for a week. The elders had left for the temple tour and RagYa started their honeymoon trip.

Raghav and Nithya reached Rajasthan in flight. From there they had planned to travel by road to Udaipur. The car journey was pretty silent and peaceful, as it was late night. They had their dinner in a roadside dhaba and entered the room.

It was a luxury lake facing honeymoon suit. As they both were tired due to the travel, they slept quickly.

Next morning Nithya woke up before the sunrise. Raghav was still sleeping and she didn't want to disturb him.

She brushed her teeth and made coffee for herself. She walked towards the window and stood there enjoying the serene beauty in front of her eyes. Sunrise with a lake view made her eyes wet.

Raghav woke up and found empty space next to him. He looked around and found Nithya standing near the window. He slowly walked there without making a noise. He hugged her from behind and placed his chin on her shoulder.

"Beautiful. Isn't it?" Nithya asked him slowly.

"Yes."

"I'll make your coffee. Go and brush you teeth." She told and turned towards him.

"How about a bed coffee?" He asked her cutely.

"Don't forget that you married a doctor." She said and pushed him.

Raghav chuckled and went inside the washroom.

They visited a few places and reached home in the evening. Both of them were exhausted fully. Raghav was talking to Vicky regarding some office work. Nithya was feeling bored and so she was browsing in her mobile.

She found something and ran to Raghav immediately. As he was busy on his call, he couldn't talk to her.

Nithya waited for a couple of minutes. Raghav didn't seem to notice her. So she walked out of the room with her mobile. .

Raghav looked for her after ending the call. She was sitting on the couch and talking to her mom. He quietly sat beside her and listened to her conversation. He wasn't able to understand the head and tail of it, but he didn't make a move either.

"Ufff finally madam ended the call." Raghav sighed loudly.

"What? I am going to call athai now. Go inside." She told him..

"Your mom and my mom are in the same place. Why didn't you talk to her earlier?" He asked in confusion.

"I will talk to mom about something and to athai about something else. Why do you care?" She asked him pissed.

"Impossible!" He muttered. "We are on our honeymoon. Shouldn't you spend time with me?"

"You should have thought about it when you were talking to Vicky for an hour."

"That was important Nithya."

"This is also important!" She replied and went inside.

Raghav was about to follow her, but he found a notification on his mobile. He opened and found a message from Nithya saying "Get ready. We are going out."

He smiled and went inside the room. Nithya went inside the washroom to change her dress. She had also took out a set of dress for him and kept it on the bed. Raghav quickly changed his clothes.

"Where are we going?" He asked curiously.

"I'm not going to kidnap you! Come with me." She replied and took his hand. Raghav controlled his smile and went with her.

As they walked for a few minutes, Raghav spotted a beautiful boat shining bright with lights waiting near the shore. He looked at her and Nithya nodded in yes.

"Surprise." She whispered in his ears.

"Thank you!" He replied and kissed her cheeks.

It was a full moon day and they both witnessed the beauty of the city in the moonlight. The boat driver dropped them at the other end of the shore. That's when Raghav realised that the surprise wasn't just the boat ride, but something else too.

There was beautiful tent built a few feets away from the shore. Nithya held his hand and they both walked for a while.

"I never expected this." Raghav told her cupping her face.

"You gave me such a wonderful wedding gift. This is nothing when compared to it." Nithya replied.

"But this is a huge surprise for me, Nithya. When did you plan this?"

"When you were talking to Vicky I was browsing about the places to visit. I found this spot and I booked it immediately."

"Then why did you act like you're angry with me?" He asked with a frown.

"Just for fun. And... I have one more surprise for you." Nithya told him shyly.

"What?"

Nithya moved away from him and tied her dupata around her hip. Raghav kind of guessed what it was.

"I am going to dance for you." She told him with love.

"But... I didn't bring my speaker here. Is the mobile audio enough?" Raghav asked her as he couldn't hold his excitement.

"I am going to dance with the sound of the waves." Nithya said and Raghav's eyes were glued on her.

She gracefully danced for the tunes of the water. He had never seen someone dancing so beautifully. And the thought that his wife was  dancing for him made him feel overwhelmed.

Nithya ended her dance and Raghav held her in his arms.
