As we sat at the pizza joint I smiled at Judy, her little nose buried inside the menu book as she searched it for food.

"You look like you're gonna eat the menu." I remark with a mouth full of bread.

"What?" She asks as she looks up.

I lean forward. "You seem like you're gonna take a bite outta that menu, like Gary over there." I remark as I point at Gary the Goat, who was eating his menu bit by bit.

Judy cracks up and chortles. "Why am I laughing? That joke was rude!" She exclaims with a smile.

"Because you thought it was funny."

We share a laugh as the waiter comes over. "Have you two decided?"

"Yes, we'll be sharing a medium cheese pizza, and the bottomless Nuclear Fries." I say triumphantly.

"Anything else?" He asked.

Judy nodded, "Could we also get the fried carrots?"

The waiter nods. "Ok then, your fries should be out momentarily." He says as he leaves.

I sigh. "Leave it to the bunny to order fried carrots." I remark.

She scoffs. "Ok, now you're just being racist." She says as she huffs.

"Haha, so?" I ask. She groans and puffs out her cheeks.

I laugh and smile at her. Then she laughs too.

"Just a cute little bunny aren't ya?" I ask as I pinch her cheek.

"You know, I kinda like it when you call me cute. All though it's offensive since you're not a rabbit." She remarks matter-of-factly.

"Well get used to it, because it's true." I say as I smile. We both laugh and stare at each other for a minute.

Then our fries arrive. "Ooooh, dig in." I say as I squirt some ketchup in a small dipping cup, then dip a fry and eat it.

She smiles and does the same. Suddenly her eyes widen. "Wow that's hot!" She shouts as she fans her tongue.

"Uh, duh, Nuclear. Fries Judy." I say as I eat another.

She takes a drink of her soda. "Ahhhh that's better. Is my tongue bleeding?" She asks as she stick out her tongue.

"Pfft, why would it be bleeding?" "Don't judge me Nick!" She says as she eats one dipped in ranch. "Oh so the ranch makes it not spicy. Noted." She remarks.

I laugh my ass off at her last remark. "Oh, Judy." I say with a smile. She smiles back.

AN HOUR LATER

Judy and I smiled as we walked down the road. Suddenly I felt a drop of water hit my fur. "What?" I ask looking up.

It begins to rain. And us, without an umbrella. "Gosh dangit!" She shouts as she stomps her foot.

I laugh and look at her. Then I grab her and hold her close. "I'll keep ya warm."

She blushes. Then I pick her up and carry her bridal style as I start running. She screams from my speed.

Eventually we make it to her apartment complex. "Her you go my lady, home sweet hovel." I say as I set her down.

We smile at each other. "Thanks for everything Nick. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have my dream job." She said.

I smile down at her. "You're welcome Judes." I say as I ruffle her ears.

Then, we found ourselves staring at each other's eyes... when suddenly, she leaned in... and kissed me on the lips.
