She waited 6o seconds for Zero to answer. He took longer than she would have liked, but she was fine with it. Seven learned how to hold her tongue since she was a preteen. She found out that talking back during a horrible time had horrible consequences.

"Hello, Noona?"

"Zero? Dr. Park called for a team compatibility test or whatever at ten this morning."

He nodded, but he realized that she couldn't see him. "Okay, I'll be there. Don't be late, Noona."

" 'Don't be late, Noona,' " she mocked. "I'm coming, Zero. Don't worry. Noona will save you from the scary Dr. Park."

He sighed from the end of the line. "Whatever. I'll be there soon."
