Vikram flung the papers at air annoyed. ..

'That old man was too intelligent than I thought. ..'

    Vikram s confidence dwindled after seeing ramnath s mails. ..He was sure that ramnath wanted to say something only to his son, hence the message was too wired that only shravan could decipher. ..

He sat impatiently, waiting for his men who were on to the city bank. ..

    As time ticked off to minutes, his men who had their hand in the bank robbery returned. ..

" is there anything amiss. .? "

He asked with expected eyes, a glint of hope at his face. ..

    " nothing important sir. .."

One of them jerked. ..

Vikram ' s face drained off the energy. .. He paced over the hall ...a sense of aloofness peeked out at his gait...

'No. ....there must be important something. ..otherwise, ramnath wouldn't be so particular with that. ..above all, the lawyer, he himself gave the details to shravan. ..so, there must be something important. ..'

    "Where are the things. .? "

The men exchanged their views at confusion. ...

" What things. ..sir "

" idiot. ...didn't you get them from his locker. .? "

Vikram yelled at enrage. ..

" sir. ..there were only some jewellery ...you told us not to touch any money or material. .."

He replied humbly. ..

" shit. ...don't stand infront of me...just runaway to spare your life. .."

     They tracked back without a word with confusion at its peak. ... at their stand ,they done things perfectly as they're told. ...Little did they know that the jewel box was the key to the mystery. ...

'Jewellery at ramnath s locker. .?This itself is strange. ..'

   Vikram was intelligent as ramnath. ..He strongly believed that the jewellery box had something. ..Unfortunately, he couldn't get that. ..then, his hands were tied as the bank was sealed and guarded by the police where he couldn't barge in again. ..

    He sighed deep in a thought that he was tightened around  to breathless  between the malhothras. ..

Just then, his intercom rang. ..

" hello. .."

" sir. ..Mr. malhothra is on line. ..shall I connect him. .?"

'Think of the devil. ...'

   Vikram sweated a bit for no reason. ..

" ofcourse. .."

He waited for the call to connect. ..

The Secretary connected Shravan's call to vikram wishing him a good time. ..

" sir. ..here you can talk to Mr. VKM. ..have a good time. .."

 
   "Shravan. ..it's vikram. ..anything important. .?"

  He didn't want to miss anything as shravan was the only hint he had in hand. ..

    " good evening sir. ..nothing important. ..actually, I called you to stay safe. ..I guess I am at  surveillance. ..I just wanted you to be precautious. .."

  Vikram  stammered. ..

" how do you say shravan. .? "

" sir. ..lawyer discussed me about my dad's safe at city bank. ..today it had been under attack. ..it may be coincidental too. ..but, it would be better if we stay alert. .."

" ofcourse, we should. .."

" by the way shravan. ..did you get the  jewellery box from safe. .?"

  He wanted to get informations from shravan. ..

" no sir, I may get it tomorrow, there are some formalities I guess. .."

  " Oh. ..notify everything then and  there shravan. .."

" Sure sir. .have a good time sir. .."

   Vikram hung the call uncertain of the happenings around him. .

  For obscure reason, shravan didn't discussed either ramnath s mails or the tibia prosthesis with vikram. ..perhaps, god had obtained those informations from vikram to help shravan. ..

      "Sumo. ..we're getting late. .."

Shravan called her loud, eyeing at the stairs. ..

    " Ranjith. ..we have started. ..Taj vivanta. ..right. .?yea. ..we'll be there on time. .."

  He confirmed the hotel with Ranjith over phone. ..

   Though shravan was  not in a mood to spend time at candle light dinners, it's preethi s wish and he too wanted to evacuate his brain to think fresh. ..Relectantly, he planned this dinner ...

   The five star  hotel was at the city and they have to drive early. ..

  Shravan chose to wear a black casuals as always. ..undoubtedly, he's a blast in black. ..

   " sumo. .."

He called her again and awestruck to see her descending down the steps. ..

Suman was adorned with a simple yet elegant white  saree , that's  mildly embroidered with tiny roses. ..her eyes gelled with thick liner, lips anointed with red tint that suited her saree. ..her hair was curled partially that bounced with her walk rhythmic. ..

  The word awestruck would be less to describe Shravan's mind. ..He had never seen her wearing a saree. ..and she was adorable and gorgeous in saree. ..Virtually, the time stood still for shravan. ..He forgot to wink and stared at her with a wide eyes. ..

   " shravan. .."

She snapped at his face as he wasn't responding. ..

Shravan shook his head with a grin. ..

" sumo. ..you're. ..you're just awesome. .."

He eyed her top to toe. ..engulfing all her beauty via eyes. ..

   Suman had turned to different shades of red in blushing. ..

   She shut her eyes in embarrass, unable to face his magnetic eyes. ..

" shravan. .."    her whisper  rather invited him to her. ..

  He paced the distance between them in a wink. ..and cupped her face. ..looking into her eyes  ,he pressed his lips at her nose bridge. ..

' Suman. ..I am fortunate to have you in my life. ..it's my responsibility to ensure your safety. ..i will get the culprit soon ...that day would be the happiest day for us. ..it's my promise. ..'

   Shravan entwined her arms at his elbow. ..

" shall we. .?"

Suman gave a childish nod. ..

    They made their way to the  portico where the  BMW had parked. ..

Suman wondered to see the BMW. ..

" sumo. ..papa loved this wild man. ..but, he didn't used it much. ..get in. ..come on. .."

     The ride was a mere bliss where they both discussed about their childhood in between the romantic numbers. ..

    When they reached the hotel, Ranjith and preethi already had arrived. ..

   " Oh. ..Suman. ..you're beautiful. .."

Without even introducing themselves, preethi hugged her tight and praised her beauty. ..

  The two woman engaged themselves...shravan and Ranjith took this opportunity to discuss about the case. ..

  Shravan showed the enlarged images of the tibia prosthesis to Ranjith. ..

" Ranjith. ..see. ..we can see an emblem that partially looks like a weather cock symbol. .."

" haan shravan. ..may be we should look for the list of the manufactures. .."

Shravan nodded. ..

" you're right. ..have a keen look man. ..at either arrow, there are alphabets. ..K...and M..."

   " yes shravan. .."

Ranjith saw him enthusiastic. ..

" there's one more alphabet that's not clearly visible. .."

"Exactly Ranjith. ..so, we need to check out the list of manufactures throughout india. ..if need be, we have to enlist the overseas manufacturers too. .."

Ranjith sighed. ..

" don't worry shravan. ..I will get you the list. .."

 
As they continued their dinner by spending quality time, it was almost midnight. ..

  " see you then. .."

Shravan and sumo rode  the BMW...

   Although it was midnight, the blaring horns of the traffic could be heard even inside the car. ..

    Shravan took the highway and accelerated. ..

   After a while, the highway broadened, that eventually ended at a toll plaza. ..

Shravan was about to get the queue, a black Mercedes with tinted black windows rushed in from side to toll gate and overtook Shravan's car,almost hitting them in the process. ..

" bloody idiot. .."

Shravan was shaken, slowed down the car and watched the Mercedes race away over the flyover. ..

  " sumo. ..are you alright. .."

Sumo who slept, blinked at baffle. ..and nodded. ..

   She sat back tight , as shravan drove. ..He changed the lane and continued to drive. ..

Suman noticed his frown and asked. ..

" shravan. ..what's it. .?"

Looking into the rear view mirror, he told. ..

" suman. ..look at the black endeavor that's right behind us. ..that seems to be striking to our tail. .."

   Her face drained off colors, deciphering the terror. ..

 
  Shravan was worried. ..He heard stories of highways. ..cars being stopped by goons and the occupants robbed of their belongings and vehicle. ..

He turned at sumo determined. ..

" sumo. ..Hold on yourself. .."

She nodded and clung to the seat with tight hold. ..

   Shravan pressed the accelerator to sped the highway. ..He suddenly entered into the service road that eventually lead to one of the villages. ..

  The Endeavour couldn't sped equally ...and stayed behind. ..

  The road was narrow but it seemed to be free of vehicles. ..Sooner, the road ended into a concrete alley that's only fit two cars at a time. .

Shravan hoped that they wouldn't come across another car, coming from the opposite direction. ..

     To their shock, the endeavour was racing towards them from the opposite side. ...

  Shravan changed to reverse and pressed the accelerator. ..the car raced backwards. ..

Shravan's adrenaline rushed and he forced himself to focus. ..they had to get rid off them. ..whoever they were. .?

  they reached the main road, shravan took the left swiftly in a thought to reach the flyover. ..

  Suddenly, the black Mercedes, that they had seen at the toll gate raced towards them from opposite. ..

   ' oh. ..shit. ..These guys were coordinating from the begining. ..'

   " shravan. ..the endeavour is behind us..."  sumo shouted in fear. ..

   At a point, shravan had no option but to slam the brakes. ..the BMW  s tyres screeched and the car wobbled to halt. ...there was a loud crash, with the Mercedes being pitched forward ...the endeavour smashed into their car ....

  The airbags balooned, as shravan and sumo thrown forward with the force of impact. ..

" are you okay sumo. .."  shravan inquired. ...

" I think so. .."  sumo murmured. ..

      Five men with lethal weapons approached their car. ..

A few curious bystanders approached the  accident spot and they scattered immediately when they saw the weapons. ..

Now, there were shraman and the armed men. ...
