"Well said suman. ."

  The last three days were not less than a hell for sumo. .she knew that shravan trust her. .eventhen, he didn't even visit her at least once. ..this made her to decide that perhaps,  the position as a commando might have stopped him. ..

  She convinced herself  at best efforts. ..and ,as days went on, she lost hope on seeing him. ..

    While she was wishing to talk with a person who truly concern about her, the familiar voice apparently brought her a feeble smile. ..

  " Ranjith. ..."

Her tone sounded enthusiasm yet it seemed too fragile. ..

   Ranjith smiled at her. ..

" Mr. white. ..thankyou for your concern. ..Suman don't need your help anyway. ..it would be better if you leave. .."

  He said at cold tone. ..

White turned to leave, still holding his reddened cheeks. ..

" excuse me. ..would you kindly take my advice. .? "

Ranjith asked and white looked him confused. ..

" change your name. ..that doesn't suit you. .."

  Ranjith's  eyes ablaze with anger. ..

  White left the place hastily. ..

   There was a still silence. ..

" suman. ..sorry to ask. .yet, how are you. .? "

It was his true concern. ..

Suman pressed her lips together. ..smiled weakly. .hesitately nodded. ..

Ranjith overlooked the room. ..

   " suman. ..the military rules are different. This is not the way we treat an offender. .considering your phenomenal contributions  to ISRO  and research, we treat you as a suspect. ..we took your safety as a priority. ..that's why you're here in technical cell. .here, the killer won't be able to activate the device that had been installed in your tibia fixation. ..now, you will have to undergo a surgery to remove it. .."

Suman was listening to him silently. ..

  Ranjith gave her a bunch of papers. ..

" here is the charge sheet. ..you read it and there's an official enquiry session. ..there you have to sign the consent form for your surgery. .."

   Suman sighed ...atleast now she had a chance to know why she had been arrested. ..

  " suman. ..the enquiry in charge officer took your guardian position. .He signed in the consent form for you. .."

  Suman opt to be silent. ..she went through the charge sheet and her heart shook to know how she had been misused technically. ..

The militant nurse came in and gave preoperative medicines for suman. ..

  " madam. ..after enquiry session, you will be shift to the theatre. .."

She gave instructions and ready to escort suman to the enquiry room. ..

  
    The militant nurse left suman at the enquiry room 's entrance . she stayed there and gestured suman to get in. ..

  Suman opened the door and yet to get in. ..

" suman. .." Ranjith stopped her. .

" I know you are a strong woman. .I wish you to be the same. ..good luck. .."

  Suman thought it to be pointless. ..she  almost had lost her hope on everything ..patriotism. ..dedication ....devotion. ...trust. ..hope. ..relationship. ..love. ..everything. ..everything. ..her only point was to pass the current melancholy. ..no matter where it lead to...

  However, she thanked him for his valued concern and went in. ..

   It was a semi lit room which was loaded with pin drop silence. ..Suman scared asif her heartbeat was strangely audible that echoed at the walls. ..

  There was a table and chair, fitted with a mike. .she sat infront of the mike. .now only she realised that there's a glass wall that separate her from the otherside. ..

At the otherside, a woman commando sat infront of the mike. .she spoke via the mike. ..

" Miss suman Tiwari. ..can you hear me. ? "

" yes. ..I can. .."

" good. ..there's the consent form. ..go through it and sign it. ..the inquiring officer would arrive shortly. .."

  Suman took the form and read it. ..she signed in it,accepting all the terms and consequences of the surgery. ..

  Her eyes went to the guardian signature and froze. ..the signature meant shravan malhothra. ..

   A sudden happiness glistened in her mind. ..she fondly touched the signature. ..

  Shravan  ,you didn't mistook me. ..honestly I was scared to face you. .what if you had a doubt on me. ..I won't spare your  hatred eyes towards me ...thank god, you didn't meet me. ..I am happy now shravan. ..you trust me. ..

  She was in the dream of hope and fortune. ..

" ikkkummm. .."

The deliberate cough brought her here and now. ..

   She looked up instantly, her eyes met with him. ..shravan malhothra. ..who was sitting on the otherside as an enquiring officer. .

There was a glint in her eyes. ..they dammed with joyous tears. ..her lips part to call him. ..

" shr. ..."

"So, miss suman Tiwari. ..how are you. .? "

His face was flat. .His' how are you' didn't seemed a concern. instead, it was formal. ..

Her gleeful grimace faded away instantly. ..

  So, it's officer shravan  malhothra. ..shravan you made me to face your hatred eyes. ..I was mistaken. ..a born   orphan may die as orphan. ..I deserve nothing. ..I was wrong about the relationship. ..

She recalled Ranjith's words to be strong. ..she immediately wiped off the tears. ..she faced him courage. ..

" doing good. .." she answered. .

" have you went through the charge sheet. .?"

" yes. .."

" so, when was it happened. ..can you detail about the accident and where you underwent the surgery. .?"

" it was five years ago. ..I met with an accident and I was admitted in government hospital and shifted to a private hospital to fix the tibia. .."

" do you have any records. .?"

" no. ..I was brought up in an orphanage and I never thought that I would be standing infront of an officer answering related to the surgery. ."

  Her voice cracked in spite of her best efforts. ..

Shravan nodded. ..

" Miss. Suman. .you may go for the surgery. ..later, we will work on this. .."

  He went out ,signing a register. ..

Suman was prepared for the surgery physically. ..

  She was taken to the operation theatre. ..

  At the theatre entrance, the nurse stopped the stretcher. .

  " suman. .beta. ..how are you. ?"

" Daisy. .." Suman didn't expect daisy there. ..it was a surprise for suman. .she hold daisy 's hands desperately. ..

" Daisy. ..atleast, you remembered me. .."

Her eyes went to shravan who was standing beside daisy. ..

  " Beta. ..you know well that the ISRO rules are  strict. .and now the research needs me. ..that's why, I couldn't engage with you legally. ..everything gonna fine one day suman. .I am with you beta. ..don't worry. .."

Suman's eyes let out a lone tear. ..

" Daisy. ..I was broken beyond repair. ..it's hard to heal the scar. .."

  Her eyes focused at shravan. ..

" nothing is impossible beta. ..time is  the marvelous healing remedy. ..you comeback. ..i am there for you. .."

Daisy pressed Suman's shoulder. ..

Suman smiled firmly at her. ..

" me too. .." Ranjith jerked at suman. ..

   " haan. ..bhukhad. ..not dare to leave my side. .."

She laughed loudly. ..

  " easy suman. ..we will be friends forever. .."

  Ranjith put his efforts to bring back the normal situation. ..

   Through out the conversation, shravan opted to be quite. ..to be frank, he was astonished to see the bewitching clarity in Suman's eyes. ..her courage made him to feel proud of her...undoubtedly, she's one of a kind. ..

  The operation theatre door was shut. ..

Shravan turned to leave. ..

" shravan. ..can I have a word with you. ?"
 

Daisy hesitated. ..

" why not. .." shravan turned to her. ..

  " shravan. ..take your time. ..I will wait at the corridor. .."

Ranjith left them to speak privately. ..

Daisy stepped beside him. .

" shravan. ..i know it's difficult for you. ..I don't know whether it would be right to ask you now. ..but, I can't see my daughter suffering. ..you too believe her to be an offender. .?"

Shravan who was looking the distant lawn turned to daisy swiftly. ...His eyes were red, yet to shed tears. ..His lips were trembling. ..

" Daisy. ..what kind of question is this. .?that day, on Maitri. ..I proposed her. ..and she's mine. ..how could I even think her to be an offender. .?I need time. ., I have been struggling to come out from my  father's death. .I couldn't think. ..I need time daisy. ..nothing else. ..but, I promise you. ..I won't let her to suffer. ..she's mine. .."

Daisy hugged shravan and cried. ..

" thankyou beta. ..I was scared. ..don't worry...everything will be alright. .."

   Shravan patted her consolably. ..

It was the third day  after  the surgery. ..since suman was in post operative ICU, shravan visited twice a day. ..He constantly checked her health improvement with the health care personals. .

It was the fourth day, suman had been shifted to the ward. .Daisy stayed in hospital itself  to look after suman. ..

    It was a bright sunny morning, shravan came to the hospital. ..

" Daisy. ..now she's okay. ..go and refresh. ..I will stay here. .."

Though daisy don't want to go home, shravan insisted her to take a break. ..

  As suman was under the influence of  medicines, she slept till afternoon. ..

When she woke up. ..her throat parched and she wanted to drink water. ..

" Daisy. ..water. ."  She called  with weak tone. ..

Shravan who's reading a magazine stood up hurriedly and brought the water for suman. ..

Suman didn't see shravan and she drank water. ..

"Enough. .."

She looked up and shocked to see shravan. ..

  She turned her face away. ..

" suman. ..how are you feeling now. .?"

He asked expectantly. ..

" better. .."  her voice was cold. ..

  Shravan smiled at her ...He sat beside her at bed. ..

   He cupped her cheeks and made her to face him. ..

" you will be fine. ..you are out of danger now. .."

He spoke softly. ..he held her  messy hair together and clipped them  ..

   He ran his fingers at her brows ...His palms cupped her cheeks reassuringly. ..His eyes fondly gazed into her eyes. ..

" Stop it shravan. .."

Suman gathered all her energy and pushed him away. ..

" shravan. ..what you wanted to prove. .?why you are pretending asif you care about me. .? I don't need your care. ..just leave me as if. ..leave me alone. .."

  Her cry stunned shravan. ..He stood froze. .eventually, he left to avoid further hurt. ..

Daisy who's just returned from home listened everything and felt bad for both. ..
