"It's sooooooo hot," I complained, "Damn bastards. I knew I shouldn't have trusted them. Especially since they shot me in my arm,"

Yeah you heard it right. My old group shot me in my arm and left me here to die. I'm surprised no Zs attack me yet. I mean, I'm laying down here shot, bleeding, in the middle of a highway. It's actually kinda scaring me a little bit. But, I'm still pissed off my old group left me here.

Of course they had to take everything. It's so annoying. I guess it's true what they say, you can't trust anyone here in the apocalypse.

Wait, I hear something off in the distance. Ah damn, are they really coming back. I kinda hope they would have been turned already. Damn. Just pretend like you're dead and maybe they will leave you alone. Maybe. To be honest, I have no damn clue. Oh shit they're stopping. Okay, okay, play it cool. Remember act like you're dead.

Just then I felt to people standing over me. Well thank god they aren't Zs.

"Hey Doc is she dead," A man who sounded young asked

"I don't know kiddo, imma check for a pulse," the guy I assumed named Doc answered

Just then I felt to fingers on my neck.

'Damn he smells like weed. You know what I kinda need some of that now,' I thought to myself

"Well she has a pulse," Doc said

"Hello," the other man asked

"Hello, are you awake," The same man asked again

"Will you shut up. I have a damn headache," I said rudely not meaning to sound like a bitch.

"Oh she talks," the old guy said

I open my eyes to see an old guy, who looks like the guy from Back to the Future.(you guys should know that reference. Lol)

"Wait, hold the hell up. Doc," I asked recognizing the old guy

"Do I know you," Doc asked confused

"Of course you should. I was that girl who go high with you on the river bank," I answered

"Y/n!? Man, I never thought I would see you again," Doc said bluntly while hugging me

"Wait doc you know her," the boy with black hair asked

I looked up at him. Damn he was hot, but he probably already has a girlfriend with that face.

"Hell yeah. We got drunk at the beginning of the apocalypse. Funny part is, she started signing Mountain Momma," Doc laughed

"Damn right. That's how I met my old group," I said

"Speaking of which, what happened to your old group. You guys got along just fine," Dic asked

"Those damn bastards shot my in my arm. Don't know how I'm alive but I am," I answered

"Damn, how long have you been here," the boy asked

"I don't know. But not long to bleed out," I answered, "I'm sorry, do I know you," I asked

"Oh I forgot, Y/n meet 10 thousand. Ten thousand meet Y/n," Doc said

"Ten thousand? Boi that ain't a name, that's numbers," I said joking around

"That's exactly what I said. But that's his name," Doc said

"Well Damn. Nice to meet you I'm y/n. Nice to meet you," I said holding out my hand

"Yeah," he said before walking off

"Damn, he woke up on the wrong side of the apocalypse," I joked

"Yeah he ain't a talker.(hehehe) Anyways we need to get you to the truck," Doc said

"Okay. But if they have whiskey, I get the first drink," I joked

"Okay," Doc laughed

""Guys I got someone I would like you to meet," Doc told everyone, " this is Y/n, we both got drunk at the beginning of the apocalypse," Doc laughed

"Well, a friend of Doc's is a friend of ours. My name is Warren what's yours," the women known as warren said

"Hi! My name is Y/n," I said cheerfully

"Oh my what happened to your shoulder!? We need to get you some help," A girl with red hair came running towards

"Well, the bastards who were my last group, decided to shoot me and steal all my things. I'm surprised I'm not dead," I answered

"Doc you need to patch her up," The red hair girl said again

"Let's go, sit on the trunk," Doc said while guiding me towards the truck.

'Damn that girl is really nice,' I thought to myself

"Y/n this is going to hurt," Doc warned me

I was use to the pain, but when he poured that alcohol on my wounded, damn that hurt.

"Oh, son of a bitch that hurt," I complained

"There you go, you're all patched up," Doc said

"Thanks," I said

"No problem. Now you need to rest, and meet everyone," Doc said

"Okay," Doc said while looking away

As soon as Doc walked away, the red headed girl walked up to me.

"Hi, my name is Addy. And that boy over there is my boyfriend Mack," she said while smiling, "what's your name," she questioned

"Hi. Nice to meet you! My name is Y/n! Oh you're super nice," I said

"Aw thank you. But i don't think I'm that nice," she disagreed with me

"Girl don't be silly. My old group shot me, and never came back for me. Trust me you're the nicest person I met so far. Besides Doc, he's too funny," I said

"You're right about Doc. Well I gotta go help look for things. See ya later," Addy said before leaving.

'Damn she is super nice,' I thought to myself

I was brought out of my thoughts when a familiar faced walked up to me. And brought me into a hug.

"Y/n, I never thought I would ever see you again," Cassandra said while hugging me.

"Cassandra? I never thought that I would see you again either," I confessed

"How are you. It's been so long since I last saw you," Cassandra asked

"I've been good. How have you been," I asked

"I've been better," she answered

"Well, I'm here now. And trust me I'm a hoot when I get drunk," I said

"Haha, well I can't wait to see that," she answered while laughing

"I've seen you staring at that boy over there," I said pointing at 10k

Cassandra got as red a tomato.

"I don't know what you mean," she denied

"Oh come on, I've known you since we were little. I can tell when my best friend has a crush," I pushed

"Fine okay. I have a tiny crush," she confessed.

"Oh I knew! Girl you should go for him," I suggested

"Are you crazy!? You know how I am with guys," Cassandra said

"Then if you ain't gonna tell him then I will," I said trying to get up

"No no! Please don't!" She begged

I rolled my eyes. "Fine but you don't confess soon I'll tell him for you. Deal?" I offered

"I guess," She said

"Well see ya later," I said

"Get well soon bestie," she said before waving and walking off

"Damn, never thought I'll meet nice people," I joked to myself

"Well not all of us is the nicest," a deep voiced said behind me

I turned my head to see the man who was waking and talking to Warren.

"And you are," I asked giving him the eye

"Oh how rude of me, my name is Charlie," the man known as Charlie answered

"Y/n. Nice to meet you to. Anyways, you said not all of us is nice," I asked

"Well, there's this guy named Murphy. He doesn't like people at all," Charlie answered, "but we have a mission and we need to complete it."

"Really? What's so special about him," I asked

"Well, he is the only known survivor of zombie bites," Charlie answered

"Oh really!? I wanna see that," I said

"I advise you not to. He doesn't take well to new comers," Charlie stopped me

"Well, Murphy will just have to deal with it," I said trying to get up

"Listen you need to rest," Charlie said, "so stay here and rest."

"Fine whatever." I said rolling my eyes

Just as soon as Charlie walked away I yelled for Murphy.

"Hey! Murphy over here."

Damn. Murphy looks pissed. Whatever he still owes me 500 dollars and liquor.

"Who are you," Murphy asked rudely

"Hey Murphy, I wouldn't be talking like that to someone you're in debt to. Damn you never learn your manners," I replied just as rudely

"Well I be damned, if it isn't little miss, give me your liquor or be beat by a girl," Murphy said with an annoyed look on his face, " I thought the Zs would have gotten you by now. Before the apocalypse all you did was eat, drink, and study."

"Hey for your information I've been sober for about a year,"I lied

"Yeah whatever," Murphy said not believing me

"So I heard that you're special now," I said joking knowing how to make him pissed

"As matter of fact. I am. More than you'll ever be!" Murphy yelled at me

"Well I'll be damned, little baby Murphy finally grew balls," I laughed

"Shut up, I'm going now," Murphy said pissed off before getting back in the truck

"You guys know each other," Warren asked eyeing me like I was a damn Z

"Well of course, when you grow up beside of someone your whole life you should know them. Plus he owes me 500 dollars in cash and liquor," I answered

"You grew up with Murphy?" Warren asked again

"Yeah, not one of my proudest moments," I joked

"Hey! Damn you!" Murphy yelled from inside the truck.

"Well yeah, right back at 'cha," I yelled back showing Murphy the figure

"Damn she's feisty. I like her," Addy said laughing

"Thanks red," I yelled back while laughing

Then some old guy that everyone didn't seemed to trust walked up to me.

"Hey pretty thing-" he started

"Hey,  you got any liquor," I asked cutting him off

"What, no," He answered

"Okay, then go away," I answered

"Whatever sweet cheeks," The guy said

"The guy looks like a man whore," I announced

Then everyone started breaking down laughing, besides 10k and Murphy. But Murphy never liked my jokes so I'm not surprised.
