Nadia POV

I woke finding my teammates sleeping in my room. They looked so cute especially Jayson mumbling something about biscuits and Elisa saying something in Spanish.

"Hollis" I whispered, poking Hollis.

"Mom....I hate the rat's guts" he mumbled in his sleep. Awe and eww!

"Hollis" I smiled nervously.

"Oh! Hm....hi" he woke up.

I looked outside my window then at him. "I saw Fire and Water wizards fighting each other" I spoke softly.

"Oh.....I'm not like that, especially I don't know much about this place" he sighed reminding me off where he's from.

"Your ears were so cute" I laughed silently.

"It's pretty embarrassing," he said, blushing a little. "Karma still has her ears and tail because she didn't want to go to the witch" he combed his hair with his fingers.

"How did you get to know her?" I smiled.

"She's like a little sister to me, she's was my neighbor's daughter," he smirked. "She needs to learn from good people, could you teach her? Especially.....how to dress decently" he smiled nervously.

"Sure" I chuckled.

"Class grab your brooms!" Mrs. Magi said looking miserable.

Elisa smirked showing me her weirdly designed broom. "I'm what you call a unique person" she flipped her hair.

"I don't have one" I smiled nervously.

"Here" Blaire sighed giving me a wooden broom. It looked really detailed with a weird god and jewels. I guess where she comes from is like India.

"I have extras" she said, smiling a little. She freaking smiles!

"Thanks!" my eyes sparkled.

All my teammates except me and Hollis were flying around the hall on their brooms.

"How do you work this thing?" I wined.

"I....don't know either" he smiled nervously. He looked a bit sick and unbalanced on his.

"Come on!" Julee smiled flying outside.

I stuck out my tongue trying to find buttons or something. "Fly!" I shouted.

"I don't think that's how it works," he sighed. He smiled nervously as his broom started floating. "This is too fast!" he said as it carried him outside.

I smiled creepily staring at my broom.

"Maybe it's not working because you are half human" a girl chuckled.

"I got this" I glared at her.

"Tell that to your mother" she said pointing at my mom observing me from upstairs.

"Mom...." I became really excited.

She had a bored expression on her face staring at me. "Ms. Toski, why are you taking so long?" she sighed.

Ms. Toski?!

I felt like an arrow shot through my heart after she said that. "You're not gonna call me by my first name mother?" I smiled nervously.

"Tst.....you act like your father so much," she didn't look at me. "That annoys me" she folded her arms.

The broom finally rose me off the ground. "I'm doing it!" I smiled.

Mom chuckled as I did my victory dance.

"Ugh!" the girl rolled her eyes.

"I'll see you tomorrow, I have business to do" mom walked off with her long black hair flowing in the wind. She's just perfect...

"You got a badass mother then you are some shit" the girl glared at me.

"That's pretty mean to say" I sighed. "I'm-"

"Nadia Toski, duh!" she glared at me. "I'm Eden Garden, Water wizard" she sighed.

"Cool" I smiled.

"I'm not like those other Water wizards, but if you piss me off I will" she said, looking really scary.

"Yes mam" I gulped.

"See you next class!" she flew off with her broom.

"Yeah" I smiled softly.

I realized I'm still in the same place while everyone is outside.

"I hate this broom!" I wined.
