(A,N, My character wasn't supposed to be friends with Bastion, but oh well! If that's how the story want's it, then so be it! And thanks for the reading the story!!!)

Jaden P.O.V

"Are we there yet?" asked Tara for the third time. Her voice was loud and squeaky.

"No!" said Jaden and sighed. "Just relax. Think about the beach. You love the beach right?"

Jaden and Tara was on the way to the Duel Academy Island and were being transported by helicopter to Tara's big shock. She had claustrophobia. His sister took one of her pills and took on her sleeping mask, so she couldn't see where she was. It was Jaden's job to make sure that she didn't get uncomfortable. He took her hand.

"That's easy for you to say," Tara said, but smiled. "We're playing volleyball!"

"Really? Are we winning?" Jaden asked.

"That's a stupid question. Of course we are!" she screamed.

"What's up with your sister?" asked Syrus, who was sitting next to Jaden. "Is she sick or something?"

Jaden sighed. "Yeah, she's got claustrophobia and it is..." Jaden was about to continue, but was suddenly interrupted by Tara.

"Hey! Stop that guilt trip of yours!" screamed Tara. "It's not your fault and you know it!" Jaden sighed again. A voice was coming from the speakers.

"We will arrive at Duel Academy in five minutes. Please prepare to land."

"Finally!" Tara exclaimed and hugged Jaden. Jaden noticed right away that her body was shaking.

"Yeah, we both survived". He said and hugged her back.

Tara P.O.V

"YES! FRESH AIR!" Tara yelled as she ran out of the helicopter. Jaden, Syrus who was Jaden's best friend now, and the new guy Bastion followed. Tara hugged her brother.

"Thank you! I couldn't have survived without you!" she said. "And you were an good player in volleyball too!"

"Really. That's new," Jaden said. Tara could feel her brothers guilt.

"Look!" she said to change the topic "We're at Duel Academy, Jay! Now you can become the King of Games!" Tara saw her brother smile.

"That's right, just you wait Duel Academy!" Jaden shouted out. Tara was hiding a smile.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you," said the little boy Syrus. "Does any of you know where we should be right now? I don't think it's here."

Tara and Jaden looked at each other. Tara was feeling a bit stressed.

"We don't know," said Tara and she was beginning to feel frustrated.

"I know!" said a boy, Tara recalled his name was Bastion. He had a little folder in his hands. "We need to walk towards the school. That's the big building over there." Bastion was pointing at Duel Academy. Tara sighed.

"The problem is" said Bastion again, "that the welcome ceremony is beginning in less than five minutes."

"Five minutes?! Jaden, hurry!" screamed Tara and grabbed someone. She didn't care who and was running towards the school. "Otherwise, we're gonna be late!" She really hated being late.

"And that's why, I am happy to welcome all the new students who arrived at Duel Academy to have a pleasant stay."

"Come on, they've already begun. This is not happening!" said Tara and sighed. Her first day and they were already late. That was not quite the start she had imagined. She ran into the classroom where all the others were.

"I'm so sorry we're late," screamed Tara and the whole school could hear her. "We were lost!" Tara had still a fast grip in someone, which happened to be Syrus. He was totally out of breath, and his legs was hurting. A little bit later, Jaden and Bastion arrived.

"Oh, it's okay," Tara could hear a voice say. "You only missed my welcome speech, but if you please would line up like the others, so that I can continue please!" Tara blushed. The voice was the Chancellors voice and the whole school was looking at us. Whoops! Tara and co. got in line.

"I hope you never grab me like this again," whispered Syrus to Tara. He was still out of breath. "My legs are shorter... and now my legs are burning!"

"Sorry! If it makes you feel better, my real target was my brother. I thought it was him I grabbed," said Tara. Syrus was standing in front of her, because his last name began with T. Tara's began with Y.

"That was some ace running there sis," whispered Jaden to Tara from behind. "You were faster than me."

"Would you shut it? We're not supposed to talk!" Jaden was laughing in a low voice.

For the rest of the ceremony, the Chancellor - named Sheppard - was calling the new students, one by one to select witch dorm (after grades at the Exam) they should start in. Obelisk Blue, Ra Yellow or Slifer Red. The guy, Bastion, was placed in Ra Yellow and kid, Syrus, was placed in Silfer Red. Now, it was Tara's turn. She could hear her brother whisper to her before she got up, "Go get them, sis," and Tara was smiling at her stupid brother.

"Tara Yuki" said the Chancellor and was smiling at her. Tara was blushing. It was pretty embarrassing, because the whole school had seen her little accident from before.

"You will be placed in Ra Yellow for the time being. Congratulations!" Tara got a yellow jacket from Sheppard. Yellow was not her favorite color, but Tara was throwing her jacket over one of her shoulder and joined the rest of the Ra students, including Bastion. Jaden was smiling at the whole school when he got his Slifer jacket. Tara was sure that Jaden didn't have a clue about the ranks in here. Slifer Red students was at the bottom here. Tara shrugged. He will find out sooner or later. Tara was following the other Ra students to there campus.

Tara looked around in her new room. All in the room was yellow. The first thing Tara did, was open a window. A little fresh air was flowing through the room now. Tara closed the door and began unpacking. Maybe this Academy would be fun and this time, she could sleep without her brother, waking her up in the morning. But to be honest, she was missing him. But only a little bit.

Jaden P.O.V

"Oh sweet, look at this view! Our campus is the best!"

"What are you talking about, Jaden?!" exclaimed and sighed. "This campus looks like it is gonna be destroyed in a min - Are you even listening?!"

Jaden was already in his new room. He was about to move some curtains, to get some light in the room, when a person screamed.

"They were closed for a reason, you know!" A guy who looked like a koala was staring at them.

"Sorry about that!" said Jaden. "My name is Jaden; this is Syrus, and...I'm sorry. Who are you?"

"Chumley," said the boy and sighed. "New student...not that it really matters." And then he fell right back to sleep. Jaden and Syrus looked at him. A little bit later they left the room.

"I can smell a duel in the air, Syrus," said Jaden and ran towards Duel Academy.

"How is that even possible?" Syrus asked. "I can't even see a duel!"

"It's just an instinct!" replied Jaden. "Come on, this way!" Jaden ran towards the Obelisks duel arena, without knowing that Slifer's wasn't allowed in here.

"Look at the duel arena," Jaden exclaimed. "This is so cool! Come on Syrus, let's duel!"

"You can't duel here!" said a voice and three obelisk boys where walking towards them. The one in the middle was Chazz. The other two was his henchmen.

"You're the one that beat Dr. Crowler," said Chazz and smiled evilly at him.

"Yeah, wanna duel?" asked Jaden. He was pretty excited, but before Chazz could say something, a girl shouted from behind.

"Chazz, the Obelisk welcome feast is about to begin and you are late!" It was Alexis. Chazz looked at her and smiled.

"Oh yeah...thanks for reminding me Alexis," said Chazz and was about to leave. "We'll finish this later, Slifer," he said to Jaden and left the arena.

"Your feast is about to begin too," said Alexis to Jaden. "You better hurry."

"Yeah, of course," said Jaden and grabbed Syrus. "Come on Syrus!"

"Not again!" screamed Syrus. "You and your sister are totally alike".

Tara P.O.V

"Whoa, it looks delicious," said Tara as she looked at all the food. There where delicious salads; delicious fish and...yeah everything on the table was delicious. Tara filled her plate with everything she could see and stuffed her face.

"Hey, don't overdo it," said Bastion, who happened to be sitting directly next to her. "We can't have you going to the infirmary on your first day because of a indigestion attack."

"But it's delicious!" said Tara, her mouth full. "If my brother was here, he'd steal my food by now! That's why I am in such a hurry!" Bastion laughed.

"You know, your brother is not here. But speaking about him, is he really that good at dueling?"

Tara coughed at that. She got some food stuck in the throat. Bastion gave her some water. Tara took it and drank the water greedy. She looked at Bastion.

"Well, I say he is. But I am his sister so that could be my own biased opinion. I think you need to find that fact out for yourself." Bastion looked at her and smiled.

"A good answer!" he said. "Maybe one day, I am gonna duel your brother, or maybe you too, Tara. You are his sister after all!" Tara smiled.

"I'll accept your challenge in the future, Bastion, and mark my words: you will lose!" She patted Bastions shoulders and began eating again.

Later at night. Tara was in her room, lying on her bed. It was comfortable - much more comfortable than what she ever felt before. She was about to fall asleep when someone was knocking on the door. It was Bastion.

"UGH! What do you what Bastion?!" she grumbled. "I am tired you know!"

"I know it's late and all, but I thought you should know. Your brother Jaden is dueling Chazz Princeton from Obelisk Blue right now!"

Tara glared at Bastion. "You woke me up just to say that? No big deal. My brother can beat anyone!" She turned around and rested her head on her pillow again.

"Yeah I know, but that's not the problem! The rules state that you can't have a duel in the middle of the night. If the guards catch your brother, he is going to be expelled!"

"Oh no!" said Tara and looked in horror. "And let me guess: Chazz and his team didn't tell Jaden, right? I have to stop them! Where are they dueling?"

"At the Obelisk duel arena! I'll show you the way!" Bastion said and they both began running.

"I use my facedown card!" Tara could hear her brother scream. Tara was sure the whole school could hear that. Damn it Jaden, couldn't you be more quiet?!

"Mirror gate, our monster are gonna switch places again Chazz! Now my Elemental HERO Flame Wingman is back where he belongs!" I just arrived at the duel arena. Jaden had Flame Wingman on the field and Chazz had Jaden's Elemental HERO Sparkman. Jaden attacked and Chazz's took a lot damage. Tara knew that she had to stop them, but the duel was so intense, that she could not stop them. Chazz was using a spell card, that destroyed Jaden's monster and cut his LP in half. Chazz then used his face down card Call of Haunted and summoned a big monster from his grave. Chazz sacrificed that monster to summon a bigger one. It was.. but Tara was interrupted by Bastion.

"Tara, I think you have to stop them now. I hear some of the guards coming!". Tara sighed and nodded at Bastion.

"Hey, you two!" screamed Tara (But not so loud that the guards could hear her). "Stop this duel now! The guards are coming!" Chazz, Jaden, Syrus and the girl Alexis was staring at her.

"Hey sis, what are you doing here?" asked Jaden, clueless as ever.

"I am here to stop the duel, you idiot! It's not allowed to duel in the middle of the night! But I guess that Chazz didn't tell you that!" said Tara. She glared at Chazz.

"She's right," said Alexis. "And I can hear the guards too. Let's get out of here!"

Chazz and Alexis began to leave. Jaden was still standing in the arena.

"Awww, but I was about to win," he protested and sighed.

"Yeah, yeah, I know," said Tara and grabbed her brothers hand. "And you're gonna win in the future too, so shut up and run for it!"

"Follow me," said Bastion. "I studied the map of the Academy, so I know a secret passage out of here!" They all followed Bastion.

"Oh...but I was really gonna win," said Jaden. They were outside.

"Yeah I know," said Tara and smiled. "I know your strategies like the back of my own deck, you know. Knowing you, the card you drew next was the spell card Monster Reborn, and you were probably gonna summon your Flame Wingman again, right?"

"You know me too well, sis," Jaden said and smiled. "That's kind of scary!"

"Yeah, but that's the same with me! Twin power you know! Now lets get back to our campus, before someone finds out that we are gone."

They all ran towards their own campus's.
