Chapter 24: Tough love and wrath of the Rose Dragons.

It's been an hour since Ash and Ginta's duel ended in a draw, with Ash and Rin telling everything that's happened to him. Heartland, his adopted family, the four dimensions, Duel Academy and the standard Dimension, and boy was Ginta surprised at hearing everything that happened to Ash and Rin.

"Whoa, you guys have been through some serious crap''. Ginta exclaimed with a stunned expression on his face at hearing his friends' stories of what they've been through. "You have no idea, Ginta''. Ash replied to Ginta without looking at him, working back on his Duel Runner.

"Duel Academy is gonna invade our home soon and we allies that's strong enough to help us defeat Duel Academy''. Rin also explained to Ginta, working on her Duel Runner again and currently checking something on a computer that's connected to it.

"Well count me in, you got the Blackwing master on your side!'' Ginta called out with a grin, placing his right hand on his hip and pointing at himself with his left hand's thumb, making both Ash and Rin smile at hearing Ginta will help them. "Thanks, Ginta. You'll be a big help in the upcoming battles''. Ash told Ginta, looking over his right shoulder at Ginta before going back to working on his Duel Runner.

"Glad to hear that. Anyway, what should we do now''. Ginta questioned Ash and Rin on what they're next course of action should be. "Step one: Enter the friendship cup''. Rin began to explain the plan as she continued to work on her Duel Runner. "Step 2: Win the friendship cup''. Ash continued off where Rin left off.

"Step 3: Create a world where Tops and Commons are friends''. Ash and Rin finished at the same time, explaining the whole plan. "Alright than, just now that the losers of the friendship cup are sent underground''. Ginta told Rin and Ash that the losers of the friendship cup getn sent underground.

"Thanks for the tip''. Ash replied to Ginta, finishing installing a new program into his Duel Runner. "We'll have to think and calculate very carefully to get everyone who loses to somewhere safe''. Rin stated, now leaning against her Duel Runner, looking down in thought.

"That's gonna be tougher than you imagine''. Rose said walking up to the group, getting everyone to look at her. "Ever since the friendship cup was created, the Enforcers have been keeping a close eye and learning everything we can about it. It's got tighter security than any other place, more guards than even the palace, one way out and Security's director is always watching''. Rose explained to her friends how hard it'd be to break into the Friendship cup to help all those who will lose.

"This is gonna be one tough nut to crack, that's for curtain. But if we work together, we'll find a way''. Ash said to his friends with a smile, making them smile back at Ash. "Well, we better get planning than. I'll head to the base and get all the information we have on the friendship cup and bring it over''. Ginta exclaimed, deciding to get all the information they have and bring it here.

Ginta remembers something important that he needed to tell his old best friend. "Ah yeah, Satoshi, I found some friends of yours on the streets. They're names are Yuya, Celina, Sylvio and Riley. They got into trouble with those lapdogs of Security, while protecting Riley. But I, along with the gang arrived on time and got them outta there. They're crashing at my place for the time being. So you can go see them whenever you want". Ginta told Ash and Rin about Yuya and the others at his house making Ash and Rin sigh in relief at hearing their comrades and friends are safe.

"Thanks for your help, bird boy. Also tell Uncle Crow and Aunt Teresa that I said hi" Ash thanked Ginta for taking care of his friends, which Ginta nods with a smirk. Ash and Ginta fist bump one more time.

"See ya later, Black Wing". Rin said to Ginta as she gives a big hug to Ginta, which makes him struggle to breathe for a while. Rose just gave Ginta a little wave as goodbye for now. "Okay, gotta go. See ya". Ginta replied to his friends with a smile, before he gets on his duel runner and drives off, going to go get all the information he could get about the Friendship Cup.

Lulu comes out of the house after hearing Ginta leave on his duel runner. "Who was that?''. Lulu asked in confusion, wondering who was it that just left, getting Ash, Rin and Rose to look at her. "That was a childhood friend of Satoshi and I, his name is Ginta''. Rose told Lulu about Ginta and how his a friend.

"Oh, I see''. Lulu exclaimed with a smile, glad to hear that her mate reunited with one of his old friends. "How are you, Krystal and Saya doing in the house''. Ash asked his mate on how she, Krystal and Saya are doing inside his house. "It's not like our last house, but it's nice. Saya's playing with Leo and Luna, Krystal's working on her deck and I've just hanging around with Mrs. Akiza''. Lulu replied to her mate, telling him how everyone's doing.

"I see, that's good to know''. Ash said with a smile on his face, glad that Lulu, Saya and Krystal are getting comfortable. Ash turned to look at Rose, curious on why she gave the silent treatment. "Rose, what was with the silent treatment you gave me and Rin earlier''. Ash asked Rose on why she gave Rin and himself the silent treatment.

Rose blushed nervously as Rin looked at her, wanting to know what was up with her as well, while Lulu looked confused. "Oh...well something kinda happened to me today''. Rose said nervously to her brother and childhood friend, admitting that someone unusual happened today to her.

"Oh really, and what exactly happened''. Ash asked his sister as he crossed his arms, which Rose gave off a nervous smile and eyes closed. "Can I...just keep quiet about it''. Rose asked her brother if she can just stay quiet about what happened to her. "You wish''. Ash replied instantly to Rose, making her sigh at how she has to tell what happened to her today.

Ash, Yuya, Gong, Celina, Dennis, Lulu, Rin, Krystal, Sylvio, Saya, Moon Shadow and Shay were standing at the top of LEO Institute Tower, facing the sun as they all prepared for their adventure, before the screen zooms out to show the rest of Paradise city.

A white portal appears as the Lancers go in, before they arrive in the Synchro Dimension, falling from the sky.

The Lancers fell down from the sky, before their partner monsters appeared and carried them down. Yuya was riding on Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon's neck, Ash was riding on Novaforce Stardust Dragon's neck, Gong was riding on Superheavy Samurai Big Benki's back and Krystal riding on her Enchanted Ice Xyz Dragon's neck.

Celina was being carried bride style by Lunalight Cat Dancer, with Lyriluse - Assembled Nightingale carrying Lulu the same style as well, while Rin was riding on one of Wind Witch - Winter Bell's blades and Yubel was carrying Saya bride style as well.

Sylvio was riding on Abyss Actor - Funky Comedian's back, Shay was riding on Raid Raptor - Rise Falcon's back, Moon Shadow was flying down on a kite with Twilight Ninja Shingetsu and Dennis was with his Trapeze Magician.

Stardust and Odd Eyes landed on the ground with their partners still riding them. However, they heard police sirens, getting their attention as they looked to see a horde of Security Duel Chasers with a big image of Roget behind them.

The scene changes to a pink background as Celina was floating in the sky in her old clothes, before Rin floats up next to her with both girls smiling as they joined hands. Soon Rin joined hands with Lulu, who joined hands with Zuzu, who joined hands with Celina, with all four girls smiling happily as their clothes changed to their new clothes.

The lancers formed up together to form a diamond shape, with Lulu with her brother, Rin and Krystal together, Celina with Saya and Ash with Yuya, with the diamond shape forming into the Lancers signature.

The city's duel roads activated as they connected with each other.

Yuya, riding on Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon summons Odd Eyes Raging Dragon, which Ash summons a new Dragon covered in light, with the two Dragons descending into the air, with Ash still riding Stardust.

On another part of the duel road, Yugo was driving his Duel Runner with Zuzu riding along with him, with Clear Wing descending into the air.

Crow, Yusei, Akiza, Leo, Luna, Rose and Crow's son were working on their Duel Runners, with the twins doing their Duel Boards, before Odd Eyes Ragging Dragon and Clear Wing flew over them, getting their attention as they watched the Dragons fly into the sky, with them all watching with smiles.

The Lancers summon out their ace monsters, with Saya's ace monster being Yubel, Lulu's ace monster being Lyrois - Assemble Nightingale, Rin's ace being Winter Bell and Krystal's ace being Enchanted Ice Xyz Dragon.

Odd Eyes Raging Dragon and Clear Wing continue to battle against each other in the sky, passing through Jack Atlas and his son, unleashing dragon breaths at each other with Yuya and Yugo facing each other)

Yuya rides on Odd Eyes with a smile and his goggles on with all his monsters following him on the duel road. On another duel road, Ash rides his Duel Runner with a smile with all his monsters following him.

Screen changes to show Shay and Dennis battling each other in the Underground duel field, Declan with his back against his father, who held four glowing cards with his right hand.

Screen changes to show Moon Shadow protecting Riley from something. Lulu and Rin looking at their bracelets with their shadows forming into Ray, Krystal holding her head in pain as three shadow people were behind her. Rose holding her hands together and her eyes closed as she thought about Shay. On the night sky, a giant monster with glowing red eyes appeared as he slashed at the screen.

Ash and Yuya fist pump together with a smile as they watched the rising sun with the rest of the lancers together.

Ash tapped his right foot on the ground, arms crossed and staring at his sister impatiently, who still looked nervous form the glares she was receiving from her brother and childhood friend. "Could we...just forget about this whole thing''. Rose nervously asks her brother and female best friend from childhood.

"Not a chance!" Both Ash and Rin replied instantly at the same time, making Rose sweet drop and laugh nervously. "Well...how should I start''. Rose nervously exclaimed, not sure how she should start her explanation. "How about what caused you to be in such a bad mood''. Rin told Rose with a frown on her face, wanting to hear what caused Rose to be like what she was when she got home.

"Well first thing was that I wasn't in a bad mood''. Rose told Rin that she wasn't in a bad mood when she returned home from her job as leader of the enforcers. "Well what happened''. Ash asked his sister on what caused her to be in the mood that she was in.

Rose's checks turned red as she looked down to avoid her brother's and childhood friend's gazes, twiddling her index fingers. "I...I...I...AAAAAHHHHH! I just can't tell you!'' Rose cried out in agony, making Ash and Rin both sweet drop at Rose's response. "Geez, what the hell made you so embarrassed that you can't talk about it''. Ash said with a curious look on his face, wondering what happened to her.

"I just can't tell you guys!'' Rose instantly replied to her brother, shaking side ways in embarrassment, making Ash and Rin sweet drop again. "Fine than! How about we duel!'' Rin called out with narrowed eyes, getting both Ash and Rose to look at her in surprise. "A Duel? But why?'' Rose asked in confusion on why Rin wanted to duel her.

"If I win, you tell us what happened and if you win, you can keep it a secret''. Rin told Rose about the stakes of this duel, getting Rose to nod in understanding. "Alright than, you got yourself a deal, but just remember that you've never beat me before and that's not gonna change''. Rose told Rin that she has no plans to lose, making the Wind Witch duellist smirk at her.

10 seconds later, Rose and Rin were standing each other with their Duel Disks on and activated. Rose uses a rosy coloured Synchro Dimension Duel Disk with the duel blade taking the shape of a Dragon wing, with Ash watching from the side. "Today is the day I'll beat you, Rose!'' Rin called out to her friend, swearing to defeat her this time.

"Why don't you bring it and we'll see what happens''. Rose replied to Rin with a smirk on her face, which Rin returned. "Duel!'' Rose and Rin called out as they began their duel, drawing their starter hand from their decks with their right hand.

"I'll take the first move''. Rose said in a calm voice as she took a card from her hand and placed it on her duel blade. "I'll start of by summoning Rose Dragon - Cherry Tail from my hand!'' Rose called out as a portal appeared in front of her, before a rosy coloured Wyvern Dragon that was a little smaller then Ash's white dragons appeared. It's tail seemed to have cherry blossoms on it, red eyes and seemed to have rosy coloured roses falling from its wings out of nowhere.

"Now since a Tuner monster was summoned, I'm allowed to summon Dark Rose Fairy!'' Rose called out as a green haired girl monster in a black dress appeared on her field.

"Now I tune level 2 Dark Rose Fairy with level 3 Cherry Tree''. Rose called out softly as Cheery Tree turned into two green rings that went around scanning Dark Rose Fairy, who turned orange before becoming 2 lights.

A beam appeared that consumed the ring and lights. "I Synchro summon Garden Rose Maiden!'' Rose called out as the beam disappeared to reveal a white haired woman wearing a white dress.

"When my Maiden is successfully summoned, I can add a 'Black Garden' from my deck to my hand''. Rose explained her maiden's effect as a card slotted out of her deck, which she added to her hand. "Now since I control a Dragon type monster, I can special summon Rose Dragon - Fiery Petals!'' Rose called out as a torrent of fire appeared in front of her, before disappearing to reveal a four legged, red dragon with talons, two dragon three fingered dragon claws and crescent shape wings, which petals on fire rained down from.

Rose called out as a big four footed crystal blue Dragon came out of the beam, spikes coming out of its body, eyes as blue as the ocean, spikes on its long tail, spikes coming out of the back of its head and wings that looked frozen and had frozen blossoms from a cherry blossom tree raining down.

"Now to end my turn, I'll play the field spell, Black Garden!'' Rose called out as she slotted the spell into her duel disk, which the field around Rose, Rin and Ash were covered in thorns.

"I should have expected nothing less from the queen of roses''. Rin exclaimed with a smile as she drew her card from her deck with her right hand, before looking at it. "I play the spell card, Freezing Wind!'' Rin called out as she slotted the spell card into her Duel Disk, which a spell appeared with the image showing a blizzard storm turning a forest into a frozen forest.

"This spell puts your garden on ice!'' Rin explained her spell card's effect as the spell unleashed a freeing wind that froze Black Garden, changing the thorns to frozen thorns. "Come on Rin, I've seen that trick way to many times. Show something new''. Rose said in a board tone, already seeing this trick so many times and knowing what it does.

"Than how about this. I summon Windwitch - Frosty Bell!'' Rin called out with narrowed eyes, holding up her monster card with her right hand's index and middle fingers, before she placed it on her Duel Blade with Frosty Bell appearing in front of Rin, riding her witch broom.

Windwitch - Frosty Bell ATK Points: 500/ Level: 3.

"When Frosty Bell is summoned, I can activate her ability to summon a Windwitch - Ice Bell from my deck!'' Rin explained her monster's effect as a card slotted out of her deck, which she held with her right hand's index and middle fingers, before placing it on her duel blade with Ice Bell appearing on her field.

Windwitch - Ice Bell ATK Points: 1000/ Level: 3.

"When Ice Bell is summoned to the field, you take 500 points of damage!'' Rin explained her Ice Bell's effect, pointing at Rose, which Ice Bell unleashed an ice storm from her wand, which went past Rose, who didn't flinch.

Rose life points: 4000 - 500 = 3500.

"Now I overlay my level 3 Frosty Bell and Ice Bell!'' Rin called out as she held her right hand into the air, which her two monsters turned into two light green lights that descended into the air, with a galaxy portal appearing in the sky with the lights going in.

"I'd like to introduce you to a new friend of mine called Windwitch - Chaos Bell!'' Rin called out as a female monster, looking like a 17-year-old female with light skin, long dark hair, wearing a black witch dress, a black broom, a black witch hat, a black wand that she held with her right hand, violet eyes, barefooted and barehanded and finally a ice neck less around her, with two green overlay units around her.

(Windwitch - Chaos Bell/ Attribute: Wind/ Type: Spellcaster/ Xyz/ Effect/ Rank: 3/ ATK Points: 2200/ DEF Points: 1000/ Requirements: 2 Windwitch monsters/ Effect: Once per turn, you can detaching one overlay unit to return one card one the field to its owner's hand (Quick effect). When this card is destroyed, you can add the monsters used to xyz summon this card to your hand)

"What the, where'd you get an Xyz monster!?'' Rose called out in surprise at seeing Rin Xyz summon a new monster. "From Satoshi, that's who''. Rin replied to Rose, telling her how she got her new Xyz monster, making Rose look at her brother, who just waved at her. "After this duel, your gonna give me some new cards, and they better be Fusion and Xyz cards''. Rose told her brother that she expects Xyz and Fusion cards.

"Yeah sure''. Ash replied to Rose with his arms crossed, thinking about what cards he should give Rose. "Pay attention Rose! I activate Chaos Bell's special ability! By using an overlay unit, your Frosty Blossoms goes back to the Extra deck!'' Rin explained her Xyz monster's special ability, making Rose widen her eyes in surprise as Chaos Bell absorbed an overlay unit into her wand.

"Did you really think I forgot about Frosty Blossoms' special ability? If you lower its ATK Points until the end phase, it can negate its destruction. But since its not getting destroyed, you can use its effect!'' Rin explained how her monster's effect works around Frosty Blossom's effect as a tornado of black wind surrounded Frosty Blossoms for five seconds, before disappearing to reveal Frosty Blossoms gone.

Rose narrowed her eyes as she took Frost Blossoms' card from her Duel Blade and placed it back in her Extra Deck. "However, your Chaos Bell's ATK Points fall short compared to my Garden Rose Maiden's DEF Points''. Rose reminded Rin that her monster's ATK Points aren't strong enough to destroy her Synchro monster.

"You may be right, but that's gonna change when I equip Chaos Bell with the equip spell, One-Shot Wand!'' Rin called out with a smirk as she held the spell card out between her right hand's index and middle fingers, before slotting it in, which a long wand appeared that Chaos Bell took a hold of with her right hand. "This spell increases Chaos Bell's ATK Points by 800!'' Rin explained her spell's effect as Chaos Bell powered up.

Windwitch - Chaos Bell ATK Points: 2200 + 800 = 3000.

"Now go Chaos Bell, attack Garden Rose Maiden!'' Rin declared an attack, which Chaos Bell unleashed a light green blast from her new wand, which destroyed Garden Rose Maiden, which Rose didn't even flinch at. "Now since the battle is over, I can play One-Shot Wand's other effect! By destroying it, I can draw a card!'' Rin explained her spell's second effect as the One-Shot Wand shattered with Rin drawing a card from her deck.

Windwitch - Chaos Bell ATK Points: 3000 minus 800 = 2200.

"I'll end my turn with a face down!'' Rin called out as she slotted in a card, which a face down card appeared on her field.

Rose life points: 3500/ Number of cards: 2.

"My turn now, I draw!'' Rose called out as she drew her card, while her Black Garden was unfrozen. "First I'll start off by playing the spell, Bloom Roses!'' Rose called out as she slotted in a card, which a spell appeared on her field with the image showing two Rose Tokens.

(Blooming Rose/ Type: Spell/ Effect: If you have a 'Black Garden' field spell on the field when you activate you card, you can special summon two Rose Tokens to your field, with the summoned Tokens being counted as summoned through Black Garden's effect)

"This spell card, when activated with Black Garden is in play, allows me to summon two Rose Tokens to my field''. Rose explained her spell's effect as two Rose Tokens bloomed onto her field.

"When summon through Blooming Rose, my Rose Tokens count as being summoned through Black Garden's effect! Now I'll think I'll destroy my Black Garden field spell''. Rose explained her spell's effect as her Black Garden started to wither away and started collapsing.

"By destroying my field spell and the Rose Tokens on my field, I'm allowed to summon out a monster whose ATK Points equal to the Rose Tokens' ATK Points, so since I had two, that's 1600''. Rose explained her spell card's effect, which Rin's eyes widened, as she knew what monster in the graveyard that has 1600 ATK Points.

"Rise up from the grave, Rose Garden Maiden!'' Rose called out as a portal appeared on the field, which Rose Garden Maiden appeared from.

Rose Garden Maid ATK Points: 1600.

"And since she was summoned, Black Garden returns to my hand''. Rose explained her Maiden's effect as Black Garden slotted out of her Duel Disk, which she added to her hand. "Now I'll summon Rose Dragon - Snowy Daisy''. Rose called out as she took a card from her hand and placed the card on her Duel Blade.

A portal appeared from the ground, before snowy white daisy flowers blew out. A Snowy white dragon flew out, his body pure snowy white, blue eyes and looks to be a serpent Dragon with wings, which Snowy Daisy flowers rained down from.

"Now level 2 Snowy Daisy gives level 5 Rose Garden Maiden a tune up''. Rose said in a calmly tone as Daisy Rose turned into 2 flaming rings that went around Rose Garden Maiden, which scanned her as she turned into five lights. A beam appeared and consumed the lights and rings, which slammed into the ground behind Rose.

"I Synchro summon the beautiful leader of the Rose Dragons, Black Rose Dragon!'' Rose called out with a smirk as she held her right hand into the air as Black Rose Dragon descended from the beam, unleashing a powerful roar.

Black Rose Dragon ATK Points: 2400/ Level: 7.

"Whoa, Black Rose Dragon is looking as beautiful as always''. Ash complemented with a smile on his face at seeing Rose's ace monster, before his eyes widened a tinny at seeing the sad look in Black Rose Dragon's eyes. Apparently, Rose and Rin noticed as well, with both of them looking at Black Rose Dragon in confusion.

'Black Rose Dragon...what's wrong'. Rose said to her partner Dragon in telepathy so that Black Rose Dragon could speak to her. 'It's nothing Rose...just thinking about something in the past'. Black Rose Dragon replied to her partner with a smile, telling her that nothing's wrong and that she was all right.

Rose didn't look too convinced, before she refocused on the Duel. "Black Rose Dragon attacks Chaos Bell!'' Rose called out as she held out her right hand as Black Rose Dragon unleashed a red breath attack, which destroyed Chaos Bell, who used her hands to shield her eyes from the shockwaves. (2400 - 2200 = 200)

Rin life points: 4000 - 200 = 3800.

"When Chaos Bell is destroyed, I can add the monsters used to summon it to my hand, so Frosty Bell and Ice Bell return to my hand!'' Rin explained her Synchro monster's effect as she took Ice Bell's card from the graveyard and added it to her hand, while adding Frosty Bell's card from her Extra deck to her hand.

"Now I reveal the trap, The Revenge of the Normal!'' Rin called out as her face down card revealed itself. "This trap allows me to summon Level four or below monsters from my hand equal to the number of monsters on your field, so Ice Bell is coming back!'' Rin explained her trap's effect as she set Ice Bell's card on her Duel Blade, which Ice Bell appeared on her field.

Windwitch - Ice Bell ATK Points: 1000/ Level: 3.

"Oh and I hope you didn't forget that you take 500 Points of damage thanks to Ice Witch's effect''. Rin reminded with a smirk as Ice Bell unleashed another Ice storm from her wand, which Rose didn't even flinch at.

Rose Life points: 3500 - 500 = 3000.

"I'll end my turn by playing Black Garden and a face down''. Rose said in a calm voice as she slotted in her field spell, which the field was covered in Roses again with a face down card appearing on her field.

Rin life points: 3800/ Number of cards in hand: 3.

"My turn now, I draw!'' Rin called out as she drew her card with her right hand's index and middle fingers, before adding it to her hand, before picking another one. "I summon Windwitch - Icy Ring!"' Rin called out as a monster that looks like Windwitch - Snow Bell appears, only being a darker shade of blue and wings made out of ice.

Thorns lashed out and wrapped around Icy Ring. "You wanna play in my guardian, you play by my rules! Every time a monster is summoned, it's ATK Points are cut in half!'' Rose explained her spell card's effect as Icy Ring's ATK Points were cut in half.

Windwitch - Icy Ring ATK Points: 500 - 250 = 250.

"And I get a Rose Token!'' Rose continued to explain as a Rose Token appeared on her field.

Rose Token ATK Points: 800/ Level: Two.

"Icy Ring's special ability activates! Now your Black Garden is put on ice again!'' Rin explained her monster's effect as icy Ring unleashed a snow storm that froze the Black Garden field spell.

Windwitch - Icy Ring ATK Points: 250 + 250 = 500.

"And I'm not done yet! If I control two Windwitch monsters, I can summon out Windwitch - Snow Bell!'' Rin explained as Windwitch - Snow Bell appeared on her field.

Windwitch - Snow Bell ATK Points: 100/ Level: One

"Now my level 1 Snow Bell tunes with the level 3 Ice Bell and Icy Ring!'' Rin called out as she held up her right hand as her Ice Bell and Icy Ring descended into the air, while Snow Bell turns into one green ring. The green ring circles around Ice Bell and Icy Ring, scanning them with both Windwitches turning orange, before becoming four lights.

A beam appeared and consumed the lights and rings. "I Synchro summon the Synchro Tuner monster, Windwitch - Blizzard Oracle!'' Rio called out as a new monster appeared from the beam of light. It looked like an 18-year-old human female, only wearing an icy witch's outfit, riding an icy blue broom, her green icy hair deifying gravity and seems to be blowing in the breeze, pale skin and eyes that look like a blizzard itself and finally, holds a staff in her right hand with an icy crest on it.

Rin explained her monster's effect as Blizzard Oracle pointed her staff at Black Rose Dragon, unleashing an icy beam that caused Black Rose Dragon's wings to be a little frozen.

Black Rose Dragon ATK Points: 2400 - 600 = 1800/ DEF Points: 1800 + 600 = 2400.

Rin expected to see a look of panic on Rose's face or at least in her eyes, but all she saw was the famous calm face of the Rose Dragon duellist. 'She doesn't look too concerned that her dragon is in danger. Wait, maybe her face down is a trap that reflect my attack back at me. In that case...' Rin thought to herself as she saw through Rose's trap.

"I equip Blizzard Oracle with the equip spell, Wings of Silence!'' Rin called out as she slotted in a spell card, which black wings appeared on Blizzard Oracle's back. "This spell not only ups Blizzard Oracle by 300 points, but now your trap cards won't work''. Rin explained her spell's effect with a smirk as Blizzard Oracle powered up.

Windwitch - Blizzard Oracle ATK Points: 2100 + 300 = 2400.

This time, Rin did see an emotion on Rose's face, but instead of surprise or panic, it was amusement on her face. "Wow, your so easy to read like a book''. Rose said with an amused smile on her face, before she held up her right hand. "I play the trap, Fiery Fervor!'' Rose called out as her trap revealed itself with Black Rose Dragon's whole body being set on fire.

"If the ATK Points of my opponent's monster changes, my monster's ATK Points are doubled!'' Rose explained his trap's effect as Black Rose Dragon melted the icy off his flames, before unleashing a mighty roar that forced Rin to cover her eyes, while Ash watched in amazement as the frozen garden was set on fire.

Black Rose Dragon ATK Points: 1800 + 1800 = 3600.

Rin granted his teeth at seeing her plan fail. "I set a face down and end my turn!'' Rin declared her turn over as a face down card appeared on her field.

Rose life points: 3000/ Number of cards in hand: 0.

"I'm all fired up, I draw!'' Rose called out in a tone full of energy as she drew her card, fire appearing in a line as she drew her card. 'Rose, let's finish this!' Black Rose Dragon roared out, full of energy, making Rose smile at her partner. 'Gladly, partner'. Rose said to her partner in telepathy, happy to see Black Rose Dragon back to her normal self. "I play the spell, Pot of Greed!'' Rose called out as the legendary spell appeared, before she drew two cards.

"I spell the spell, Black Rose Burning!'' Rose called out as she slotted in a spell card into her Duel Disk, which a spell appeared, showing an image of Black Rose Dragon slowly descended with her whole body on fire.

(Black Rose Burning/ Type: Spell/ Effect: If you control a Black Rose Dragon on your field, all cards your opponent controls on their field is destroyed)

Black Rose Dragon unleashed another mighty roar as her flames burned even hotter and burned even brighter. "If Black Rose Dragon is on my field, all your cards are destroyed!'' Rose explained her spell's effect with narrowed eyes as Black Rose Dragon unleashed a powerful roar as her flames burst out, destroying Blizzard Oracle and Rin's face down, leaving Rin staring in shock at what she has witnessed.

"Blizzard Oracle's effect activates! If she is destroyed, Windwitch - Winter Bell comes out!'' Rin explains her monster's effect as Winter Bell's card materializes on the field, before Winter Bell appears in front of Rin.

Windwitch - Winter Bell ATK Points: 2400/ Level: Seven.

"I play Black Rose Dragon's effect! By removing my Snowy Daisy, your monster's ATK Points go to Zero!'' Rose called out as a ghostly image of Snowy Daisy appeared that Black Rose Dragon absorbed, before unleashing thorns that wrapped around Winter Bell.

Windwitch - Winter Bell ATK Points: 2400 minus 2400 equals 0000.

"Now I equip Black Rose Dragon with the spell, Thorn of Malice!'' Rose called out, holding the spell out with her right hand as Black Rose Dragon grew a horn and even more dangerous vines.

Black Rose Dragon ATK Points: 3600 + 600 = 4200.

"4-4200 ATK!'' Rin called out in shock at what she was seeing. "Here goes Black Rose Dragon, burn Winter Bell! Burning Wrath!'' Rose called out as Black Rose Dragon's body burned even fiercer, before charging at Winter Bell, smashing through her and creating a bright red explosion that blew Rin off her feet. "AAAAHHHH!'' Rin cried out as she started to fall, before she landed safely in Ash's arms bride style.

Rin life points: 3800 - 4200 = 0000.

"You okay, Rin''. Ash asked in concern for Rin as Black Rose Dragon disappeared. "I'm okay, thanks for catching me''. Rin replied to her lover with a gently smile, happy to be in Ash's arms. "Looks like I got a little overboard''. Rose said as she walked up to Ash and Rin, with Ash putting Rin down on her feet.

"Sorry, I could have hurt you Rin. I'm sorry''. Rose apologized for getting carried away, looking down in shame. "It's okay, Rose. It's normal for someone to get fired up''. Rin told Rose that it was all right, smiling at her. "I know...but I could have hurt you''. Rose replied to Rin, still feeling terrible for almost hurting her friend.

"Listen, I'll tell you guys what happened since I had a fun duel''. Rose told her best friend and brother that she'll tell them what happened to her, getting Ash and Rin's attention. "Alright, what happened''. Ash asked his sister on what happened to her, wanting to see if he can help her.

"Alright...here goes! I...think I'm in love''. Rose told her best friend and brother, making them widen their eyes in shock, having not expected this. "Say what!'' Ash called out in shock at what he heard from Rose. "Well...it kinda happened like this''. Rose said nervously as she held her hands together and looked down, her checks red.

Rose looked about the area from her position in a nearby alleyway. She heard the rumours of an underground duelling ring, where illegal gambling was taking place. Such places were only detrimental to uniting the Tops and Commons, so she was beginning her work in trying to bring it down. Unfortunately, she was too well known to be able to get in and sabotage things, so she was looking for a way of getting in without being noticed.

Hearing a noise behind her, she quickly turned, causing the hood of her cloak to fall down, and moved into a position that would allow her to quickly activate her disk. She then froze as she got a good look at the person behind her.

Shay had arrived separately from anyone else, and decided that he may as well begin his search for strong duellists. After some time, he heard rumours of an underground duelling ring where high-stakes duels were held, pitting the strongest of the underworld against each other.

Sounded interesting.

He tracked down where the rumours said to go to find it, and was just walking down an alley that would lead right to it when he saw a figure in a red cloak peering out the other end. Narrowing his eyes, he moved to approach them as his foot knocked a small rock away, alerting the person before him of their presence. As they turned, the hood over their head fell back, and Shay was incapable of doing anything other than observing the person before him.

It was a girl who was absolutely breathtaking to look at. A beautiful face framed by long, dark red hair like the colour of roses, and set by royal blue eyes that one could drown themselves in. From the open cloak, he could see a well-developed figure, in an outfit that seemed to, *ahem*, "emphasize" her form. All in all, Shay couldn't help but stare at the beautiful girl before him.

Rose wasn't much better off. She was preparing for a fight, not for a hottie! That confident way he held himself, those pure yellow eyes, that blue-green hair that held a lighter shade in just the right way to make her think of a bird's wing. She was utterly captivated by him.
To each of them, there was currently nothing else in the world, other than the person before them, and the image of roses in their heads that bordered them.

Both Ash and Rin continued to look at Rose in shock at the story she just told, while Rose continued to look down nervously with a blush. "After that...I kinda just took off and found my way back here. Now if you guys don't mind, I need to be alone''. Rose told Rin and Ash that she needs to be alone to think about this, before heading back inside the house.

Both Ash and Rin continued staring in shock at what they heard from Rose, before Ash granted his teeth as his hands turned to fists, knowing who it was that stole Rose's heart. 'Shay! You're a dead man!' Ash thought to himself in rage at Shay for steeling his baby sister's heart, while Rin looked at Ash, who was covered in crimson flames, making her sweet drop.

"Satoshi...'' Rin said with a sweet drop, which Ash ignored her, seemly focused on murdering Shay next time he sees him.

There's a feeling something's about to happen.

All the lancers were in a restaurant that had many photos, eating or talking together with Moon Shadow, Shay, Dennis and Krystal seating together, talking to each other. Celina, Rin, Lulu and Saya were seating at another table, eating a snack. Ash was seating with Yuya, Riley and Sylvio, with them having a snack as well.

I want to jolt my current limits. Scatter upon this world's field. Draw out your numerous possibilities, fight it out!

However, that was than Ash took notice of the photos on the wall when he was about to have his drink, with Yuya taking notice of Ash looking at the photos.

My feelings are speeding like a jet coaster. Dashing about with a ba-bang! Entermate!

All the Lancers were playing at a pool table, with Yuya, Krystal, Moon Shaodw and Sylvio somehow small with Yuya riding Hi Hippo with Krystal riding with him, while Sylvio was running and Moon Shadow was riding on a spinning shrunken. All the other lancers were in normal size with Lulu taking her turn on the pool table with everyone having a pool stick, except for Saya who was watching with a smile.

Linked across space and time, the goals I share with my comrades

All the Lancers were now at a motorcycle race track, with Yuya and Rin riding on two motorcycles, wearing riding outfits with the other lancers working on their motorcycles.

Can't deal with it the easy way! No! Don't give up!

Yuya, Krystal, Gong, Dennis and Sylvio were dressed up like detectives, searching for clues, while hiding in the shadows behind Sylvio was Ash, Shay, Lulu and Saya, dressed in costumes and had masks on, smiling in enjoyment.

I will go! I will go! I will go! I will go! Up to greeter heights! (Fly so high!)

Four cards were seen, before they flipped over to reveal Yuya and his two counterparts, before the card flipped over again, before flapped over again to show Zuzu and her counterparts. The cards were than tossed into the air.

Will we make it, or will it end here? Nobody knows.

Ash, Gong, Shay, Dennis and Celina were all playing at a music studio, with Ash, Shay and Dennis playing guitars, Gong playing the drums and Celina singing, with all of them wearing outfits for the occasion.

Even in a desperate turn, turn the tide over in extravagance!

All the lancers were in ruins, wearing explorer outfits, running from a bolder that got Sylvio. Ash, Celina, Shay, Gong, Yuya, Lulu, Rin and Krystal running with Yuya making a scary face with the torch, Ash and Shay holding the treasure. Dennis was in a performer's outfit, performing, while Moon Shadow was holding onto Riley and Saya, keeping the two girls safe with Saya laughing in joy.

That's the ultimate image I'd love to reach one day.

The Lancers were in space, wearing space suits and having fun, while fixing the space ship. Gong, Rin and Ash were working on the ship, Dennis was relaxing and the others were having fun, Saya staying close to Lulu.

Four cards flipped to show Yuya, Gong, Celina and Riley smiling, before the cards flipped to show Dennis, Shay, Sylvio, Moon Shadow smiling, before the cards flipped over to show Ash, Lulu, Rin, Saya and Krystal smiling with Lulu and Saya sharing the same card.

Thousands of cards were flipped into the air, showing the happy faces of the lancers with Declan seen, wearing that same suit as before.
