IT'S NOT EASY to make a living when your mere existence is a crime. Enhancements are illegal across every system, the crime most often punishable by death. Kura Zalri, after a ship crash nearly ends her life, is saved by inputting nanites in her skull and brain. However, as an Enhanced, Kura's saving grace is a death sentence.

AFTER STEALING A ship, Kura runs as far as she can, trying to avoid the punishment of a crime she didn't even commit. Along the way, she evades bounty hunters and law enforcement as well as meeting others on the run. Can they trust each other, or are they truly on their own? When they're forced to band together and save the galaxy, only time will tell.

rules !

1- Be Nice!
If I catch you being rude to anyone here, your character will be dropped! No if's, and's, or but's!

2- Be original!
Please try not to make your character someone that already exists! It's okay to base your character off of someone, but please, please try to shake it up a bit. As long as the character is yours, then they're fine!

3- Be original pt. two!
If you can, please try to avoid stereotypes!! Subvert them where you can, and have fun with it. Additionally, I'll be more likely to pick diverse characters. You can make them a nonhuman alien if you'd like, also!

4- Faceclaims!
I would prefer that your faceclaim (and oc) be at least 25!! Please try to avoid social media fc's as well as they tend to have fewer gifs/relevant resources. If you need help finding a faceclaim, feel free to ask either in the comments or pms! I have tons of ideas :) And if your fc is problematic, I'll pm you just to avoid making a big deal about it, but it's something I'm putting my foot down about.

5- Be detailed!
I'll be more likely to pick your character if they're extremely detailed. So flesh out your character as much as you can! The more diverse, the better :)

6- Tags!
I'm not a very well-known author, so please tag people so that there are more applications. Tags aren't required, but it would be awesome if you did.

7- Check!

if you can't tell, i never left my pirate phase :,) this is inspired by one piece and treasure island.
keep in mind that the primary focus of this fic is the found family aspect, so unless you're okay with a giant poly relationship (which i'm perfectly fine with tbh), romantic relationships aren't going to be the main focus of the plot.
