EPILOGUE FOR: Out Of The Closet and Into the Fire

The league should have been embarrassed that it took them FOUR hours to hack into their own systems after a preteen locked them out. But when they arrived, they were more worried than anything; where were their kids? why weren't they answering their calls?!?

They wandered through the halls quietly, incase there'd been a break in. Bats obviously didn't tell them what had acctually happened between him and the kids, so they were all in the dark. About an hour into the night, Robin had cut the cameras, so they didn't even know what the kids were doing.

"There's sound in the livingroom."

The mentors crept into the room, where they found light and sound... coming off the TV. A large indestinct mass covered the main sofa. They approached to find it was not One large mass, but six smaller ones covered in a quilt.

The kids were between drowsy and dead asleep: with Kaldur, Conner, and Roy more sleepy; and Dick, M'gann, Artemis and Wally dead asleep.

"What happened here?" Ollie approached his elder kid.

"Gay." Roy muttered

Conner saw Batman and layed his armacross Robin. "No. You're NOT taking him."

Bruce brushed by him and tried to wake up his kid. This time, the team leader stopped him, hugging the youngest teen against his chest. "Batman, please. He's scared."

"What's gotten into the kids?" Barry asked, checking on the kids and observing the half eaten flag cake that read 'we're BI!'. What did that mean? Why were these kids eating Bisexual cake and watching Thor; Ragnorok? "Uh,Bats?"

"Robin thinks I'm mad at him, he convinced the team he was in danger."

They thought this sounded like blame-shifting.

"What do we do?" Arthur asked, breaking away from murmering back-and-forth with his protege.

Bruce didn't know, but he was taking Dick home. They made His friends let him go, and the boy's father lifted him off the couch. Then they noticed the boy was clutching Wally's hand, and had to struggle to pry them appart.

Bruce took Dick home, carrying the boy Bridelstyle in his arms. Dick was exhausted, fast asleep,  snoring with his head leaning against Bruce's shoulder. Bruce knew Dick would never do this when awake, so he just had to pretend his son loved him when he was asleep.

"Master Bruce, you're back."

"I got him." Bruce held the kid tighter in his arms. "Tired himself right out."

"Shall I take him to bed?"

"It's akright, Alfred, I'll do it." Bruce sighed, pulling off his cowl and carrying Dick up to his bedroom. He changed his son into pyjamas, carfefully removung his sunglasses and placing them on the nightstand. He set his son down and rested the covers over him. He brushed Dick's hair out if his face.

"Of course, I still love you, Dick."

EPILOGUE FOR: Superman Hate Club

"You've really let your Junior Justice League go off the rails." Clark said to no one in particular.

"What happened?" Bruce wanted to know what shit his son had caused this time.

"The team is angry at him for ignoring Superboy." Dianah was always hearing snippits of the team's gossip. "And maybe they have reason to..."

"What does that mean." Clark squinted suspiciously.

"They same thing we always tell you. Talk to your son."

"He's not my son."

"-Clark-" Dianah inhaled sharply. "You can't neglect someone and expect them and their friends to respect you."

He sighed, they ALWAYS acted like his clone was innocent. The clone was created TO KILL HIM. "Dick used to get along with everyone, same with Wally, and Aqualad."

"They gets along with everyone except you." Bruce stated. "What does that say about where the blame should lay?"

Dianah agreed. "The team is inexpirienced, but they're not pushovers. They're loyal, and as frustrating as that can be, they really rely on their relationships."

"I don't know how they work like that." This was a HUGE 180 from Superman's usual opinion. It was like his son's existence changed his whole point of view on teamwork. "This team is getting out of control, they don't know who their authority is. Just ensure they don't fly too close to the sun."

"I'll talk to them about that." Dianah said stiffly.

The next day, the team was plotting when the computer announced the arrivals of Batman and Black Canary.

"Batman!" Wally called. "Do we have a new mission yet?"

"No." He stated, looking expectantly at the team's denmother.

She sighed, trying to dissosiate harder. "I'm supposed to talk to you about something."

They were uncomfortable with how hesitent they sounded. "Oh. Yeah?" Dick asked nervously.

"Yes." She prepared to die internally.

"Okay..." they assembled around them. "What is it?" Conner asked.

There was no way for Dianah to be the good guy in this situation. She desided that morally grey was as good as she could get. "Superman wanted me to tell you that the team needs to stop disrespecting him."

"OH, HE DOES?" Wally asked.

"Well, maybe he should stop dehumanizing Superboy first." Kaldur proposed.

"Or he could jus not be an asshat!" Artemis bit her tongue angrily.

"Listen, please." She couldn't make herself schold them for being in the right. "Batman?"

Bruce glared at her for forcibly pasing him the torch. "Just don't swear at and disrespect members of the league."

"Listen" Dick stepped forwards. "I know Superman is making you do this because we hurt his fragile pride... but, you don't have to do this, and you know it. He can't successfully confront us himself, so he sends you here to tell us off."

Wally stepped up with him. "How about you join us instead? M'gann?"

"OH!" M'gann dropped her backpack, and rifled through it, pulling out a sandwhich bag of hommade pins. She reached in and pulled one out, showing it off. "I made it in my Art elective class!"

The pin read: 'say no to bad fathers! Cancel Superman!'

"Creative." Dianah stated. She was genuinely impressed that the kids hated Clark SO MUCH that they made merchendise.

"That is very immature and disrespectful. I'll have to confiscate those."

The kids groaned, reluctantly handing them over. M'gann promised, over the mindlink, that she'll make some more. The league scolded them for being disrespectful, and left.

The next day, half the Justice League was decked out in 'Cancel Superman' pins.

EPILOGUE FOR: After-Failsafe Mission

"We've called Batman for you." Oliver patted his shoulder awkwardly. "He'll be here in about an hour to pick you up..."

Dick nodded shakily, staring at the half-covered brick of Cocaine on the desk.

"Dude, do you feel better?" Wally leaned on his shoulder. "What happened?"

Dick shrugged, giving some half-assed excuse, deep in thought. That's how he'd been for the past hour-and-a-half: drugged up and deep in thought.

Suddenly, his whole demeanour changed: He sat up straight, furrowed his brow, and relaxed his shoulders. It was like his brain had been activated.

"You should turn that in to the police." He looked at Ollie, pointing at the brick.

"Yeah, we'll... do that."

"You probably should've done that last week." He said.

"What?"

"You know..." He grunted, standing up. "I was a little surprised when I found that cocaine in the paper towel dispenser. If the culprit was a worker, why would they put it in the public washrooms? And even if They did, why wouldn't they lock it afterwards? They have the maintenance keys? Also, were they all in on it? if not, then whoever went to replace the paper towels would find it and call the cops. It's almost like we were supposed to find it! But why would they want us to find it? They didn't know that we're superheroes!"

Dianah tried to calm him down, the kid was panting for breath at this point. "Robin, calm down. It's not for us to reason, it's only a recon mission..."

"That's the other thing..." Dick started. "Why would Batman choose for our first meeting back together to be an undercover recon mission? Why would they give us a mission after a traumatic event where we catastrophically FAILED a mission. And we are sent on a covert mission. Why were we sent with Black Canary and Green Arrow? Both of them? Why not just our den mother. On that train of thought... Artemis, you said Ollie lets you keep staying at his place and then spends no time there?"

"Yeah," She scoffed, giving her mentor a side-eye. "He's been too busy having hookups and fighting crime without me."

"HOLD THAT THOUGHT!" Dick exclaimed. "AAUUGH, I'm freaking out here! OKAY! Why would the league -who doesn't trust us normally- send us on a recon mission when we're OBVIOUSLY not doing our best, socially, emotionally, AND physically? Why don't they do it themselves? We know they're capable! Wally! Pass me my phone!"

"Fuck- OKAY!" Wally was scared of him.

Dick tapped furiously at the google search bar, pulling up an article. "ARTEMIS! Do you know where Green Arrow was last night- before this mission?"

"No? like I said, he keeps ditching."

"Exactly! You stop questioning it eventually, we're all too tired to think about those things! And they know it! Look; Green Arrow; Drug Bust in Downtown Star City! I assume the criminals won't tell the fed if a quarter-pound of coke went astray!" Dick was hyperventilating, speaking faster than he thought he could.

"Dude, calm down..."

"SO, how hard would it be for someone to borrow some cocaine from a crime scene, plant in a place that would be easy to find, and lift group moral with an easy success? So, team, there's our 'criminal'.... OLIVER QUEEN!"

He fell backwards on the bed, panting. This was the first time his brain had been sober in weeks, and boy was his brain tweaking.

"Okay, Calm down, Batman will be here shortly..."

Artemis stood up. "No, it makes sense..."

"Artemis, let me explain why..."

"WHAT THE FUCK, OLLIE?" She spat.

"Yeah, fuck this!" Conner exclaimed.

"I'm going home." M'gann groaned. "Kaldur, do you need a lift?"

"I'd like one." He said, stopping back briefly to check on his friends before following her out.

There was the sound of screeching tires outside.

"I think that's Batman." Dick stood up, eyes on the floor. He turned to Wally and Artemis. "You guys should get a lift with the others. I'm going home.
