You see her walk away,

You see her close her eyes.

You see her let you go and

yet, you can't seem to stop.

She has given up, so let her be,

as she will not come back.

Not now, not for a while.

So take a deep breath,

for she is spiraling away.

But don't forget to open

the window, as her soul

must fly to the seas.

You see her once more,

before the sun leaves,

and she waves goodbye,

so empty and still.
