Izuku's point of view

I don't know why Cecil called me to the hospital, but he must've had a good reason, especially if he asked me to suit up

I asked Eve to come with me, partly because I don't know what we'll be going up against or whatever it is, but I could use the backup just in case besides I think she could use something to take her mind off of things

With that all in mind we were flying towards the hospital on the way Eve decided to ask: so did Cecil give you any description as to why he wanted you to come to the hospital

A little, but I quite understand all of it: all he says is that there are some people in the hospital that he wants to question and he wants me to do the questioning... I can think I have a few reasons why but... First I want to be sure

Eve: right got it so what exactly do you think this is?

If I had to guess the monitor had something to do with it: if I were a betting man, I would put all my money on something the monitor did but as to what I don't know, let's just get to the hospital and hope that it's not too bad

She nodded as we got to the secret hospital Cecil Met us in the hallway he was surprised that he was there but he didn't question it

He began leading us through the hospital to where the supposed surprise was while we were walking he started questioning me

Cecil: so how are the... Are projects coming along?

I know which one he's specifically referring to, but since he wants to keep Omni man in the dark he's decided to keep this information tightly net no one can know outside certain people

I do hate lying to Eve, but it's for our protection. The less people know about Omni Man the better: the projects are coming along but the one you truly asking me for is... Proving to be troubling I have a method but unfortunately, I can't get past stage one however once I get past that stage the rest should be relatively easy in comparison but even if I can do it all, it's almost impossible to test we will be taking a big gamble but I believe it will work

Cecil nodded I looked back at Eve who's not seeming too confused. She might get in her head that we're talking about the new element I'm trying to create which technically we are it's just we're using it for a method she probably doesn't think about

Again, I hate lying to her, but she cannot now, and just in case this plan doesn't work. I'll need to come up with some backup plans but I need more information to do that: it would be a really big help if you could give me as much information you can on "the subject" it could help with some backup plans that I have

Cecil knowing what I'm talking about nodded: alright will send you it detailed report on everything we know about... "The subject" for now we need your help with this

Let us into a room and I nearly jumped out of my skin when I saw in it on a hospital bed two people who tried to kill me twice from the League of Villains/paranormal liberation front and Lady Nagant former hero/assassin both of which worked for all for one

Cecil: okay kid judging by your reaction, I'd say these guys are pretty bad

I nod: yeah remember when I Miss Kate for a villain... the guy I mistook before is right over there

Eve's eyes widen: holy shit that's twice... From what you described I expected him to be a bit more I don't know muscular a bit more threatening guy he kinda looks like a guy that's been laid off in a jumpsuit

I look at it with confusion: how exactly do you think my villains look?

She shrugged: honestly when you said that your world was like a comic book I kind of got this whole idea that your villains kinda look like generic bad ones you know scars on their faces go to eyepatch... Kind of thing

I can't blame her. I didn't exactly describe them moreover I just described their actions not what they looked like most of the time

Cecil: all right so bad guy what about the other one?

I introduce them to the unconscious former superhero: Lady Nagant for a superhero/assassin remember when I said that my heroes don't kill well... That's not entirely true meet the heroes Association former assassin before she killed the head of the heroes' Association and got arrested

Eve: oh yeah I remember you telling me something about that but I don't understand this your heroes hold up a high standard right no killing not unless it's necessary... And it's noble if not a little bit naive but again Noble so why would they ask a hero to be a part-time assassin?

There's a simple answer and when I don't like: unfortunately it's due to the fact of the no-killing killing rule that we needed Hawks and Lady Nagant superhuman society hung by a thread and that was that the heroes didn't use their power and authority to... You know abusing others those kinds of incidents could destroy people's faith in heroes. It's sort of like if one apple is bad cut down the whole tree that kind of thing

Cecil seems to understand this way too quickly: I get it so when a hero did something that needed to be kept out of the public eye they sent in her to... get rid of the bad apple

I nod: exactly but it wasn't just heroes that went... On the dark side it was vigilante groups that didn't agree with the regulations on superheroes and Claire that they were going to tear it down she was given countless orders and she filled out every single one of them and eventually, it took a toll until finally she couldn't take it anymore. She killed the head of the heroes. The association got arrested and was sent to jail on false pretences. They couldn't risk anyone knowing the truth about the heroes association not that matters now it's all over the web in my world. What I don't understand is how those two got here the last I heard twice was killed by Hawks and Lady Nagant was in a hospital after exploding

Eve: you mean she was in an explosion

I shake my head: no I was there. She exploded. She was contracted to capture me and bring me to all for one but she ended up giving us good information before she exploded.

Eve: wait hold on all one can make people explode!

Technically, I'm not sure about the science behind it. It could be another cork that he installs in his followers to make sure that they don't talk or betray him: that's not important right although I would think about moving her to a less... Occupied room just in case but seriously, how did they get here?

Cecil explained: truthfully we have no idea we checked on the cameras one minute they weren't in these beds the next they were and when the doctors found them they just assumed that they were more patient. They didn't contact us until Donald was doing a check-up and saw these two and recognised them from one of your drawings, but we wanted to be sure it was them. They're both unconscious like you said the lady exploded from the inside but she's healing up as for the doubler... he should be fine. Most of his injuries missed out on vital organs except for one it was a close car but we managed to save him... But now I'm debating whether or not we should've.

He's right twice as a one-man army I'll be at a Canon made out of glass army but still, he's dangerous. He could put Kate to shame in terms of doubling and he could make doubles of every member of the League of Villains, including the high-ends that's not good

However, there is still one thing that doesn't sit well with me if this was whoever is sending the villains over there are easier places to get the proper medical care I'll be here. It will be underground, but it's better than waking up in a government facility ready to be arrested unless...

The monitor he brought them here so that they could be healed, but why?: I'm not sure what's going on, and I'm not entirely sure but I think the monitor has something to do with this... If nothing else maybe twice and Lady Nagant can give us some information. I think we should keep them here but under heavy guard and... Thinking about it you might wanna put some special handcuffs on twice his clones can come out from any part of his body but he usually uses his hands.

Cecil agreed: right good call kid the more information we know about the monitor the better, I'm not sure what he's doing but I don't like it... When those two wake up what do you wanna do with them?

I look over it twice the classic lock up and throw away the key that comes to mind but I don't know... I don't think that's what the monitor wants as for Lady Nagant I trust her more than I trust twice, but she might not be comfortable waking up in a government facility

I don't like it, but we might have to put extra security on her: I trust Lady Nagant partly because all for one betrayed her and she betrayed him so she's more trustworthy, but I'm not sure how she'll feel about waking up in a government facility. She's kind of sensitive about it so maybe give her a bit more freedom as for twice. I'm not entirely sure he's not mentally well, but I also can't look over the fact that he was a key member of the Paranormal Liberation Army as well as the League of Villains... I think before he wakes up, he needs to be in a cell similar to his duplicate brother and his arms need to be restrained as well he can make clones all over his body, but he mostly uses his hands

Cecil: All alright we'll get on that... There was one other thing when I got here. The doctors found something underneath twice a sheet of paper addressed to you. We had a look at it and it was coordinated

Eve: coordinates to where?

Cecil: we checked on the computer whoever left this wants you to go to Africa

Narrator point of view

Black nightshade is a beautiful flower which had one meaning around the world

But of course, Rex didn't care about that all he knew was that it was Toga's favourite flower and that's why he bought a bundle of them they were going to be a gift for her as well as what she wanted a tour around the guardians of the globe

Now Rex wasn't sure about when he could bring Toga to his new team's base but he knew if he could, it would be the key to getting into his rebound girl pants

But he needed to do it in privacy, obviously for one reason but another was because he knew his team was such a stick in the mud they would never be allowed to bring girls here which bummed him out. All he wanted was to have fun with a girl give her the time of her life and then send her back home never to speak to her again that was the plan. Also, it was secretly a really weird fantasy of his to always make out in Guardians of the Globe headquarters he thought he would be able to do it with Eve but... She was a new boyfriend at least that's how he saw it so now he was forced to fill out his fantasies with another girl

Monster girl: those are some nice flowers Rex

Rex: thank you but they're not for me... A friend a really cute friend

Monster girl: and here I thought after you cheated with you were going to go for Kate you know considering... What happened?

Rex laughed: oh please it was nothing they weren't even the real Kate

Monster girl rolled her eyes: yeah, you're real ladies man

before Rex could respond, Cecil teleported in with izuku and Eve behind him sure it was a lot of money to teleport the three of them but considering the urgency of this he made an exception plus his new assistant hero said he was working on a way to shorten the bill on the teleportation

Cecil: all right whatever you guys are doing stops right now got a mission for you you're all going to Africa

Rex cursed, he didn't know why but he knew izuku was behind this his resentment and anger towards the newest hero grew even stronger that day

Black Sampson: alright what's in Africa?

Eve: that's kind of the thing we don't know... We think the monitor the person responsible for bringing izuku here as well as muscular wants izuki to go there presumably for another challenge

robot: if that is the case whatever challenge it is it must be severe much greater than the one he tried during the guardians tryouts

Izuku: exactly there are a lot of villains in my world that can cause widespread damage perhaps the fact that this has to take place in Africa is because of that and the monitor wants to narrow down civilian casualties

Rex: okay so have fun. Bring back a postcard. Why do we have to get involved with this?

Cecil: because you're the goddamn guardians of the globe and lately it seems that deku has been doing your job all by himself no I don't care what the hell is going on between the two of you but enough with the dick measuring you're doing this regardless

Rex curse to himself again he didn't want to be a part of whatever this was the last time he was a part of a challenge. He took on a villain and got badly beaten while waking him down (that's what he tells himself) and he got zero praise for it so there was no way that he was gonna do that again

Monster girl: I'm cool with that I mean deku put his live on the line for our world, even though he's not even from here at least we can do is help him out with a problem that may come from his

robot: agreed and if this threat is as big as we suspect it might be possible that if izuku does not go to the specified location, the monitor may be compelled to bring his challenge to a populated area. He does not seem to mind putting innocence in danger in order to perform his challenges.

Black Sampson: yeah I honestly can't nail that guy down I can't tell if he's a super villain superhero or if he's just some crazy guy regardless we can't take him lightly. He could just as much as pick us up and throw us into whatever is waiting for us in Africa, might as well go there as a team.

Rex: well you can count me out I ain't going there... Besides shouldn't someone stay in the base just in case you know there's an actual emergency?

Kate: I do hate to admit it but Rex does have a point if this turns out to be a wild goose chase it would be good if someone was in the base monitoring everything just to make sure

Cecil: right then Rex can stay behind the rest of you come go to Africa and find out what the hell is going on

with that the Nick fury of the invincible universe teleported away while the guardians except for Rex started to get the gear ready ready to go to Africa

Robot: are you sure you don't want to come with us, Rex? It's highly doubtful that you can handle any issues by yourself.

Rex shrugged it off: a robot it's me. I can handle anything now go I don't wanna see those two more than I have to.

He was referring to both Eve and izuku seeing them together planning happily smiling and giggling pissed him off to no end

and he had an ulterior motive for having the team away once he was sure he was alone as the team left he picked out his phone and typed in the contact and placed his phone to his ear: hi cutie... Guess what? I can make your wish come true I can give you a tour of the guardians of the globe base

Little did Rex know he had just doomed the rest of the world

A few hours later going across the Atlantic, the guardians of the globe along with demi and eve we're flying to Africa shrink, monster girl and Kate were riding on a hovercycle that the teen team once used while Black Sampson, robot, Eve and deku used their powers/technology respectively to fly alongside them

Shrink: I know I should've asked this before, but how do we know when walking straight into a trap?

Izuku: we don't... But it's like Sam said if we didn't do this, the monitor would just pick us up and throw us there from any time anywhere. It's best just to get this over and done with.

Eve: he's right an and I for one don't wanna be thrown into a trap at least we know we're in for something whatever it is

Kate: okay but still feels like we're walking straight into the jaws of death are we sure this is a good idea maybe we should get Omni man to help us

Izuku: no that's not gonna work. He asked for some personal time besides I think if you guys will lie on Omni man to solve all your problems it's not gonna end well trust me. Take it from someone who believe that someone was gonna be there to protect their society all the time putting your faith in one person isn't a good idea.

He Of course avoided mentioning the fact that Omni man was responsible for murdering the first guardians of the globe. The new guardians weren't ready to hear that and despite everything they still needed Omni man to protect them from occasional threats as well as by time for them to come up with a plan to stop him with whatever he was planning.

After a few more minutes of flying just above the ocean Africa was finally in sight robot lead. The flight pacifically drove to the coordinates that he was given when they got there. It was nothing just an empty pile of land.

Black Sampson: robot are you sure this is the place?

robot: I am 99.9% sure this is where the coordinates told us to go

Kate getting off the hover cycle and getting to the ground and looking around to see absolutely nothing not even a tree: but there's nothing around here... Is it just been a wild goose chase?

Izuku: I don't think so. The monitor works in mysterious ways but he wouldn't waste our time lik-

The hero stopped talking as his danger sense started pinging like crazy so much so that the original wheeler of the power actually appeared before him telling him to run

He tried to alert the others, but it was too late. The ground started to shake as cracks began to form as dust into the air. A monster emerged from the cracks.

The Guardian of the globe even Eve were shocked. They had no idea what the hell this creature was, but it towered over them and they could practically feel the danger coming off of him even robot was nervous

Deku could immediately recognise the monster and despite the recognition he was still terrified: gigantomachia

Eve: holy... What in God's name is that a person? Was it an actual monster?!

gigantomachia Spoke as he made eye contact with izuku: I've been searching for you are you the one I've been promised? Are you...My new master?

and so it begins will zuku be able to tame the former bodyguard of all for one find out next time
