Letter: Dream Sobbing Woman and a Long Way Down
Dear Mr. Blathe,
I hope all is well with you, and I very much hope that my repetitive descriptions of my dreams continues to interest you. Last night was another such dream.
This woman from my previous dreams continues to inhabit them. She seems more and more distressed with each dream. Last night was no exception. Indeed, I dreamt that I entered the room and came upon the woman sobbing in the corner of the room. It was night, and the window was open. a light breeze played with the curtains, but I did not feel cold. I can assume that it was during the warmer months. I approached her, but after a while I felt to uncomfortable to continue. There were broken fragments of something on the ground -- I think glass -- so I tiptoed around it.
Before I woke up, I lept onto the windowsill and peered outside. There was a moon out, but it wasn't full. Looking down, I saw that we were over a little bit of a cliff, and that there was a little garden and a gazebo below. I had half a mind to jump out just to see what would happen. But, I woke up.
That is all for today,
G. McNutt
