The clan wearily made their way through the snow, eyes all filled with the same emotion.

Fear.

Not even a moon ago a mighty rival has come out of it's elusive shadows, taking in many rogues, loners, ad even clan members in hopes of taking over both of the clans. "We're almost there, keep your guard high." The deputy said, as a large and dark cave came into view.

"Everyone, me and Willowleaf will check to make sure it's clear, stay out here until we say it's all good." The leader, Riverstar, said. Her voice was shaken.

The two cats wearily padded in, and Riverstar let out a deep breath. "No smell of-" She was cut off by a shriek from Willowleaf.

"Blood, it's all over the floor!" Willowleaf shrieked, fur standing on end.

Then a pair of flaming amber eyes shone through the darkness.

It was him.
