five.

The entire ride back to the brunette's house was silent, for the most part. While others were off talking to each other, Jungkook couldn't help but have the redhead's words stuck on replay in his mind. What did she mean 'not good enough for love?' He was beyond confused and all of more things he kept thinking of, only gave him more and more of a headache that only seemed to get worse as time went on.

Omce they arrived back at the brunette's house, they all piled out of the van and back into his house, all going back into the same positions they had been before leaving to go and see Yugyeom. This time around though, Taehyung wasn't patiently waiting his turn to play video games with Hoseok and Kaesi. Instead, he was in the kitchen looking for something to snack on - after all, the blonde hadn't eaten all day and he was very hungry.

Jungkook was in the kitchen with the blonde, re-filling his glass of cold water as he silently watched as Taehyung rummaged through the many cabinets in search of food. Once his glass of water was filled up, he turned the faucet off and turned his body around to lean his back against the counter and watch the blonde struggle to find the right snack he wanted.

"Do you need any help, Taehyung?" The brunette asked, startling the blonde, since he wasn't expecting Jungkook to be watching him as he rummaged through the cabinets.

Once he collected himself, the blonde shook his head before opening another cabinet in search of something to eat. He gently bit down on his lip in concentration as he looked through the cabinets, trying to decide what sounded good for him to eat. Jungkook - being amused with the entire thing - watched with a faint grin on his lips. He had never seen someone struggle so much over looking for something to snack on.

"What exactly are you looking for to eat?" Jungkook asked before taking a drink of the cold water in his glass. "I don't have much food, I'll have to go grocery shopping tomorrow, so I can order some pizza if you want or something." Jungkook shrugged, trying to play off his kind gesture as if it was nothing - since he didn't know exactly what to do in the situation he was in.

After all, the brunette's mind was still a jumbled mess from being torn between the two possibilities involving the group of seven in his house. Part of him really wanted to believe that they were the characters from his book, yet another, bigger part of him refused to believe that his characters could come to life and that the group of seven were some intruders. With the second thought in mind, it made the brunette extremely cautious of what he was doing, although the first thought seemed like it was more likely, mainly because none of the group even tried anything bad on him - all they wanted was to hang out with him and adventure, really.

The more and more Jungkook pondered on it, though, the more and more his head ached to the point he wanted to just sleep so it would go away. The time of day was only around five in the afternoon, though, so it was still too early to go to sleep. So he was left to stay awake with the group of seven until the time was at least ten, so he could then have a better night's rest and be able to sleep more comfortably.

"Jungkookie, are you okay? You look tired," the blonde - whom was a lot closer to Jungkook than he had been a minute ago - rested the back of his hand on the younger boy's forehead to check for some sort of fever, since he looked a little sick. "Maybe you should go and rest for a bit, you don't look so good."

Jungkook shook his head, gently pushing Taehyung's hand off of his forehead. "I'll be fine, Taehyung," he sighed, taking another drink of his cold water. "And please stop calling me Jungkookie, it isn't my name."

Taehyung frowned, but nodded his head anyway. He exited the kitchen and went back out to the living room, taking a seat on the floor beside Hoseok - who was patiently waiting for his turn to play the video game. Jungkook peeked into the living room from the window in the kitchen, a soft sigh heaving past his lips.

If that group of seven out there were indeed the characters from his current story, he had a lot of things on his to-do list then. One of the bigger things being getting the two main characters to fall in love. How he was going to manage doing that - especially with the duo's current statuses and feelings for each other - the brunette hadn't a clue. All he knew is that he had to get them together, which would be a lot more difficult since he had never been in love and done romantic-type things enough to know how that works.

The brunette watched from the kitchen as the main duo of his story were with each other, trying to find any signal that one liked the other, but it was a lot harder than it seemed - for one of them, at least. It wasn't that hard to tell that the redhead had feelings for the ginger, but the only problem was having him return those feelings. Not to mention, it was probably a lot harder on the girl because she looked nothing like an actual girl.

"This is too much, I can't do all of this," Jungkook groaned, heaving out a sigh of annoyance. There were multiple things for him to think about all at once and it was really starting to get him upset. Not to mention that his headache was worsening by the minute. "I need to sleep all of this off, I'll just have them order pizza or something until I go grocery shopping tomorrow."

Jungkook lifted himself off of the counter, placing his half-empty glass of water on the counter before exiting the kitchen. None of the group seemed to notice his presence - except for Taehyung, who had been keeping a keen eye on the younger boy.

"I'm off to bed, guys. If you want food, you can order pizza or something," the brunette lifted his hands to his head, gently rubbing his temples. "I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow since I don't have anything, so if you need anything I'll be in my room. Don't bother me for something stupid and try not to burn the house down, thanks."

With that, Jungkook turned towards the hallway and walked down it to reach his room. Once inside, he quickly changed into a pair of sweatpants and a plain t-shirt before hopping into bed. Although the sun was just in its midst of setting, the brunette was determined to get some rest because he was extremely warn out and his mind was running too many places at once and it needed to rest; he just needed to rest.

Jungkook pulled his pillow close to his chest and fell asleep shortly afterwards, his mind completely forgetting all of the problems at hand.
