Mark nervously bit his lip as he walked up to his front door. He wrapped his hand around the door handle, hesitating. He took a few deep breaths, swinging the door open.
In front of his eyes stood a man, black hair fixed nicely with a t-shirt and jeans on. He had a bright smile on his face, as he looked Mark up and down.
Mark couldn't barley believe his eyes. He was absolutely beautiful, stunning, gorgeous. It was different from what he was expecting, to say the least.
Mark felt so awkward, just wearing his wrinkly clothes from work. He felt so dingy compared to the other; who was absolutely handsome.
"Mark... Is that really you?" The other said, his voice being a bit different from what Mark was expecting, too. Mark nodded slowly, a small smile coming onto his face.
"You're so cute!" Jackson exclaims, wrapping his arms around Mark's neck and bringing him into a hug. Mark could feel his cheeks burning, his heart beating faster every second that went by.
"It's so nice to finally meet you," Jackson says, pulling off the hug, but still staying close to Mark. The other's cheeks were on fire, red as could be.
"You too," Mark says, still in a complete stage of shock.
"Y-You're stunning," Mark stammers, trying to find the right words to say. Jackson smiles brightly, bringing Mark into another hug.
"Aigoo, you're so nice, too!" Jackson says, nuzzling against Mark's shoulder.
"Well uh... Come in," Mark says, bringing Jackson into his small apartment and shutting the door. Jackson sits down on the couch, a smile still plastered on his face.
"Your smile..." Mark mumbles, sitting down next to him.
"Hm? What about it?" Jackson asks, raising an eyebrow and looking at the other.
"It's... Really beautiful." Mark says, holding back a smile. The other's smile was contagious.
"Thank you," Jackson says, getting comfortable on the couch. "You're really awkward." He says, laughing softly. Mark's cheeks heat up again, but he covers them this time.
"S-Sorry."
"You don't talk much, do you?" Jackson asks, watching as Mark patted his own cheeks to try and calm them down. Mark shakes his head, taking his bottom lip between his teeth.
"That's okay," Jackson says, scooting a bit closer to Mark. "I don't mind." Mark looks at him, his cheeks still flushed pink. He observed the other, taking in the details of his face that he could now see since he was closer.
His plump pink lips stayed slightly open, his eyes giving a soft gaze that made him feel safe. His nose was slightly red on the tip, probably from the cold outside. His hands were gently resting on his knees, those hands looking like ones that Mark wanted to hold.
Jackson could see him staring at his hands, so he flipped one over and smiled softly. His palms looked soft, but still a little chapped from the winter's cold.
Mark let his actions speak before he could even think, setting his hand on top of Jackson's and gently intwining their fingers. He was right, his hands were soft. Jackson's fingers wrapped around the other's, giving a gentle squeeze.
Mark knew that his face was back to being on fire, but he didn't seem to care now.
"Mark..." Jackson whispered, his thumb gently caressing the other's hand.
"Yeah..." Mark replied, biting his lip.
"JACKSON! I BURNT THE PIZZA," They heard from down the hall, startling the both of them. Their hands scrambled away from each other's, hearing more yelling down the hallway.
"JACKSOOOON," They heard, and Jackson sighed. He stood up, walking to the door and looking out into the hallway.
Kunpimook stood in the hallway, walking around with a cooking mitten around his hand.
"What do you want?!" Jackson yelled down the hallway, getting Kunpimook's attention. He runs down the hallway, catching up with Jackson.
"I burnt the pizza on accident," He says, panting softly. "We might need to order out. Oh, hey Mark!" He looks into the apartment, waving.
"Hey..." Mark says, faintly being heard from the hallway.
"You two know each other? Small world," Kunpimook says, shrugging.
"Aish!" Jackson says, "He's my soulmate. Do you even hear me when I talk?" He says, sighing. "Sorry, Markie. I gotta go. I'll see you... Tomorrow! Okay?" He says, smiling softly.
Mark nods, "Okay."
"Sleep well!" Jackson says, waving.
"Bye, Hyung!" Kunpimook says, as Jackson closes the door and they walk back down to their apartment.
