Night Rolled On And Soon Morning Came

Chara drifted in and out of consciousness while petting a sleeping Midnight, still just sitting on Asriel's bed. Asriel's phone beeped meaning, 'wake up, school' it wasn't very loud but having big ears it was easy to wake him up, adding to it on school night's he tends to sleep light. One eye opened as he laid there, ....Already..... Chara doesn't move still tired as fuck. He sat up slowly looking at her. He slowly got off the bed not disturbing her. She just keeps petting Midnight who had also woken to Asriel's alarm, he got up hopping off the bed but Chara kept petting air, so tired she didn't notice. Asriel stared at her after getting up, .....Well ok..... Slowly he walked over to her and adjusted her to be laying on the bed comfortably but still able to move her arms as he gently covered her with a blanket, Just....Go ahead and pass out....You need sleep She continued petting the air not even realizing she was moved. He went to his bag grabbing his uniform and going to the bathroom to get changed. 

She finally begins to almost pass out when Sans walks down the hall playing the 'Itsy-Bitsy-Spider' thinking she was asleep to wake her up and she bolts up, jumping off the bed. Asriel changes. He hears it walking out and just stares at him like are you fucking kidding me. He walks past him opening the door to the room to see her on the floor shaking wide-eyed with her hair looking electrocuted. His eyes narrow and he snatches Sans phone walking downstairs opening the front door and throwing it outside before closing the door and starting back up the stairs. Sans stared, ".....Really? It's time to get up anyway, that was a very good wake up call" "No it wasn't you fucking asshole, she didn't fucking sleep because of your bullshit, she was literally about to pass out when I woke up" Frisk had woken up to the song and was walking to the door opening it more as she rubbed one of her eyes, "What's going on..." She yawned as she spoke. 

Asriel looked at her, "Chara didn't sleep....She was probably about to...finally.....Then some idiot had to go and be an asshole" "Yes...I am going to continue to be an asshole because I finally found her weakness and she's a bitch" Asriel growled, "You don't even know her enough for that to be a valid reason" "I know her as much as I wanna know and that's fun" "To hell with 'fun' you don't know her, you can't say it's 'fun' do be a dick to her just because of the genocide route," Frisk lost any emotion in her face as she walked out the door and walking past them going downstairs but Asriel was too pissed, "Have you ever thought she felt bad? She has feelings, she's not heartless, hell she cares more about even Frisk then she does herself...When I saw her after I got my form she told me sorry more times then I could fucking count, but you could care less about how she feels about literally anything" His eyes went black as remembered all the resets and the genocide routes. He chuckles, staring straight through Asriel, "I don't want to know how she feels, I don't want anything to do with her. Imagine this Asriel, you trying your best to keep your brother safe, protecting him all your life, only to see it all washed away in an instance. Imagine that. Twice....I witnessed it twice, but did she give a damn? I remember that face...I will never forget that face...No matter how much time passes, no matter how many resets" His voice gets darker as he says the last line and before you know it, he's gone. Asriel growled gritting his teeth, he wasn't done. Frisk had put on her shoes that she'd set on the floor next to the couch and had silently walked out the door before taking off down the sidewalk. 

Chara had passed out on the floor. Papyrus slowly walked out the room, "ASRIEL? WHAT'S GOING ON?" "Nothing Papyrus" He sounded genuine, "Just a petty argument" He walked into the bedroom grabbing his school bag and walking back out, "I'm going to school early I'm not that hungry, Chara didn't sleep last night so let her sleep as long as possible and if she asks where I am I'm at school" Papyrus was about to speak but Asriel had already gone downstairs and started towards the school. Frisk ran soon getting to her hideout she was already in tears but trying to calm herself as she paced above it taking deep breaths, No no, your fine, don't think about it just.......Heh...It...It's just something....horrible....that happened.....because of me..... She took a deep breath shaking her head, No stop...I'll just... She opens the hatch starting down closing it behind her. She gets to the bottom glancing around then checked her pockets, ...Of course I didn't bring my phone.....Great.... She glanced around before going over to a guitar she had found in a junkyard a while ago, it was about brand new.
