Shane POV

After Adam and Janice explained everything to us, We were surprised the energy projector not absorb the energy but gave Rea the power. Apu told us that it was suppose to open portal but it wasn't program to do that. While Apu is scanning on the device to investigate, using his PDA with Rea. I turned to the group heroes who were discussing about their matters. "The dispersal of the virus was relatively limited. No more than 10 blocks have been exposed, and at minimal levels it could have been much worse." Captain Marvel said. "And the symbiote's been destroyed, thank goodness." I said. "But..we were exposed." Chun Li said. "Confirmed. I'm detected traces in the of every one of us, synthetic and organic alike."Dr. Light said gravely.

"So how long...before we turn?" Ryu asked.

"Its hard to say....Hours rather than days. I can find no way to suppress the progress of the virus. Therefore, I only see one solution to all of this....Ultron Sigma must be destroyed." Dr. Light said. "Great... Until Ultron Sigma bites the dust, we're all a bunch of ticking time bombs." Rea said.

"However, only the four of you were not exposed to the gas."

Everyone stared at us in a surprised and puzzled look as Chris said, "What do you mean they are not exposed to the gas? Why they're not affected?"I was confused at first until Apu spoke up, "Perhaps I have the answer...."We turned to him as he explained, "When we stood behind Alice, I remembered the bubble staff was shield active only if it detects danger so it shielded around us."

Janice said, "Well, I'm glad we're not exposed to the gas." "Thats good news for us. Now that we're back together, we can get out of this crazy war. Apu"I said. My friends were shocked as Adam said, "What? Shane we can't leave this world....we might need their help."

"Adam, you know as well as I that this isn't our war and we'll get hurt easily here. THeres no way you guys are gonna get killed, we're going home and thats final. This is their war, not ours."

They were shocked by my outburst but yet they weren't affected, I notice they're still staring at me which made me puzzled. Adam said to me, "Shane get into that thick skull of yours. We can't leave..."

"Why not?"

"Dr. Light mentioned only four of us weren't affected by virus and we were protected by Janice's shield."

I still didn't get it until Janice realize what he meant. "Rea wasn't protected by the shield. That means...."SHe said. "She's exposed to the gas..."Adam said gravely which made me shocked. Dr. Light scanned on Rea and said, "Indeed I detected traces of it inside of  her system." I was so dumbstruck that I didn't knew Rea got caught by the gas. Adam said, "And think about it, Shane. If we bring Rea to our world, who knows what side effects that might affect her. Plus, we can't bring Rea looking like that."He gestured to Rea in her cosmic hero outfit which prove his point. I didn't thought about it and I felt angry as I said, "Maybe if Apu hadn't built the device in the first place, none of this ever happen." 

Apu looked shocked by his accusation and argued, "Me? Your the one who tried to break the device when I told you it was unstable." THe heroes watch the two boys argue amongst themselves. Adam tried to stop them but instead took part of the argument. Janice stared at them and hated when her friends fight over. She said, not taking it anymore, "Guys, STOP IT!!!" The three boys turned to Janice who Rea was comforting her. "Arguments isn't going to help us solve any problem."Janice said. Chun li said, "She's right, it won't help you if keep arguing yourselves. You should think about Rea, she is your friend."We knew she was right and felt ashamed that we've been arguing for petty reasons.

Captain America said to all, "You all fought well, and with honor. We lost allies and friends, No one could ask any more of you and yet I must. *turned to us* And don't worry we'll do everything in our power to help your friend."We smiled at him with understanding that they will find a way to destroy Ultron Sigma and help Rea in order to get back home safely.

"The first thing we need to do is grab the Soul Stone from Jedah. We can't stand a fair chance against Ultron Sigma and stop the virus without at least one more stone." Captain America said. "Jedah has returned to the Dark Kingdom with the Soul Stone in his possession." Thanos said. Morrigan said, "His mind has been corrupted the stone, I can no longer reach him.""I'll handle Jeddah." Dante said, coming down the stairs.

I turned to him and said, "You sure, Dante?"

"Hey, He's a demon, I'm a demon hunter. Its a match made in hell. "

Adam POV

We stood around where Dr Light is as he said, "Even we retrieve the 4th stone, we cannot yet regulate the Stone's power." Spider man said, "Thank you Dr. Downer."It was ashamed that I didn't watch this level becoz I didn't reach it yet. Hawkeye wondered about it when he said, pointing at Rea, "What about her? She was able to regulate the power thx to the device when she extracted the energy from the stones."Much to Rea's reaction as she stared at her pendant, Nova questoned, "Theres one thing I don't get is.....with all the power from the infinity stones why isn't she corrupted, Like Jeddah?"

That questioned does really come into my thought, I read comics book about the stones when it comes w everyone was wondering about it even me and my friends. Rea was really clueless as she stared at her pendant with curiosity until my brother spoke up, "Perhaps I have the answer....."We all turned to Apu as he explained, "When I scanned the energy projector which Shane accidentally broke.....somehow it reconfigured the programming. Not only it can project to many places where you want to be instead became an extractor."

Rea asked, "Extractor?"

"Right before the attack, you saw how it extracted the cosmic energy and projected the power. In result, it granted to channel the powers of infinity stones. Judging by the appearance which explains the Infinite Form she inhabit."

I blinked at him and said, "Infinite Form. Really?"

"Well, She has the power of the infinity stones and her outfit is like cosmic universe so Infinite Form, plus she was the only one triggered it which gave her powers so it only works on her. Beside, I test it out when I took the pendant from her but didn't work on me or any of us."

SHane said teasingly, "Well, you always wanted to be a superhero." Rea retorted playfully, "Says the boy in armor."

"Don't worry, Rea will turn back to normal only if she doesn't waste it beside we might need it to send us back. Its a good thing that power in that device is only limited."APu said relief. We were confused what he meant. "You were wondering why she isn't corrupted.....it only absorbed limited power which was a good thing. Absorbing too much can't withstand all that unlimited power. It could utterly overload the system and releases an energy burst that could easily destroyed the device."

Janice said, "So if the device is destroyed, we'll never get back home."Apu nodded at her gravely. Rea said, "What about the stones that attached to this device?"

"Yes that's what I mean by overload.....You said you felt the strong power surge when the stone attached to the device. The stone reacted to pendant like magnets almost like it resonated with each other, thinking it was the infinity stones. It gave you so much power that your body can't handle them which made you feel tired."

I turned to Rea who was surprised by his theory, that would explained everything why she felt weak when having power surge. "If were to use four stones against Ultron Sigma, we need something that can contain all of their power which is similar to the Energy Projector."Apu said. "Spencer and i tried making something like that earlier. The tech here doesn't cut it, not to mention everythings destroyed in the tower and reactors toast." Iron Man said. "But We need something portable. Something that can fully contain the stones' power." I said."Didn't you hear me kid? I can't build anything like that, not with the stuff here." Iron Man said. Haggar said, "WOah----hold up with the tech-speak, Stark."

Thanos said, "Only the technology of Abel City can save you now."Iron man said, "He's not lying....not abel's city tech, at least."Arthur asked curiosity, "How you know this?"

"Trust me."

Thanos said, "Take me there and I will help you complete your device."I mumbled, "I hope you don't back stab behind their backs."Chun li said, "Abel City was destroyed when our two universe collided."

"No, Abel City was the epicenter for the Convergence. Sigma's laboratory survives."

"So this is a suicide mission into the heart of enemy territory? I'm interested, tell me more." Iron man said. I said, "I don't think you guys have no choice."Spiderman said, "There seems to be a lot of that going around."Janice asked, "What about the rest of you? What will you do?"Captain Marvel said, "We'll take the fight to Ultron Sigma----keep him occupied."Chris said, "Y'know, we barely made it out of there last time."

Rea said, "This time is different and you might have a chance. The Reality Stone is cracked. Plus, He's hurt-----vulnerable."Rocket said, "ANd we're desperate." "But we're not alone."Captain Marvel said, glancing around the room full of heroes. THanos said, "You must strike now, before he can repaired himself, before this virus consumed you all."We shuddered about that last part and thought of Rea's fate.

Rea POV

I watched Iron man and Dante walking towards Captain America and Marvel. "Understand. Everything depends on you two....on the Soul Stone and the device. If you fail...."Captain America said. "Its an awesome responsibility."Iron man replied. "Hey, We're awesome guys."Dante said giving each other high five. "My God....We're doomed."Captain Marvel said, much to their dismay. They're about to set off when I said, "Hey don't forget about us, we're coming too."  We walked towards to them.

Adam and Apu said unison, "Even us..."

Shane said,"Me too...Beside, if the universes are gone, so is everything."

Janice said, clutching her staff tightly, "I don't know if we can but we'll do our best."

They were shocked when we said that as Captain Marvel said to us, "Its too dangerous for all of you. Maybe you should just leave it to us."Shane said, "Hey we're not going to stick around and do nothing."Chris said, "You already help us more than enough, this isn't your war. How stubborn can you possibly get?"

I said, ""It's not about that! Its true its was our fault that we were brought into this world got involve in your war. When I saw you as a true hero because you fought for the sake of holding on to what's left and honoring friends that have departed. I won't think so much of that if I ran away from the dangers that lie ahead of me. That's why...I don't care how tough things get, I'm fighting until the very end!"

"Rea..." Shane said. "She's not alone and we're her friends. So if she fight, we fight together. And were not running away."

"No we aren't. We're here to support all of you the entire way. We will make sure you stop Ultron Sigma by any means necessary." Adam said. "We're going to fight by your sides one more time. No matter how dangerous it is, we're going to overcome obstacles"Apu said. "Don't worry we have Apu's inventions to protect us."Janice assured to them.

The heroes stared at us with surprised that our determination and courage wanted to fight alongside them to help defeat Ultron SIgma. Captain America was against it however he notice how my friends were willing to fight for my sake. He sighed and had no choice but to let us take part in the mission much to our delight. Dante said, "You guys are willing to put your lives just to help us."

"Oh get over yourself. We're fighting for her." Shane said pointing to Rea."It figures..." Nova said, couldn't help to crack a smile.

"Right, I'm hope we can assemble something in Abel City. Apu and I will go with Iron Man and Thanos along with a group there to make that device. The rest of you... Are gonna attack XGard and Ultron Sigma head on, everything you've got!" I said. Shane said confused, "Your not coming with us, Rea? With your infinity power, we can defeat him."

Apu pointed out, "I don't think thats a good idea. If Ultron finds out she has the power of the infinity stones, He might used her to his advantage."I said, "He has a point there and beside Apu doesn't have a weapon but he could be handful. Plus, I have the power of time so I can put up a barrier to protect us from being detected. With a little help from Doctor Strange, just in case."I turned to Doctor Strange who nodded at me and I nodded back. Iron man said, pointing at Apu, "Your gonna let him help us?"

"He is the one who invented the Energy Projector was able to regulate it, even though he accidentally. Beside, it'll be faster to have two geniuses plus a cosmic warlord to finish the device. Also we need more time to complete it."

"As much as I hate it, I agree. We need to buy time for the others. This is the best chance we have." Apu said. "Then it's settled. If everyone has their jobs... Let's go to work." Iron Man said. I turned to my friends and said, "Watch out yourselves."

Shane said, "Don't worry we'll watch our backs."

Adam said, "Count on us."

I nodded as I turned to Janice who looks worried so I walked to her and asked, "Will you ok? DOing on your own?"She stared at me as she shook her head, shaking her fear and said bravely, "Black Panther told me that I have to be strong so I'm going to be alright. Becoz I know you'll always be with me, even from a distance."I smiled at her that she had changed and was no longer a shy girl anymore. So we hugged each other in assurance and said,Giving some words of support, "Take care yourself."Janice replied, "You too." As we get back to our work in order to end this war.

No POV

Xgard.....

They were at Xgard heading towards to where Ultron Sigma lair is. Hiryu said, "Our journey here has drained the last of the Bifrost's power."Shane said who was at Captain America's side. "Well at least we're luck to get this far."

"Still, we cannot leave the way we came."

X said with worry, "Any news from Abel City....?"

Captain Marvel said, "Hey, I'm sure Zero will make it."as she went ahead. Rocket said to him, "And if we don't make it, we'll all be dead in an hour. So, y'know, don't worry about it."Adam said, shaking his head, "You had to encourage him like that."As they continued walking, the city looks quiet and there were no sound, no people, and no wind. It looked like as if they were walking in a grave.

Shane notice how Janice seem heart-broken to see the cities was brought to ruin. He comforted her that everything is going to be alright. While walking, Chris notice his arm was becoming mechanized much to their surprise as he clenched his fist. He said, "Alright, let's move or we all going to share their fate."We were about to continue until Ultron Sigma's voice, echoed throughout Xgard. "Heroes, you've returned as wew fortold."

They got into their defense stance as they saw drones and corrupted asgardians marching towards them. "Your bodies seem eager to join us. Soon your minds will follow."

Shane said angrily, "Get scrapped, machine."

As they began to fought of the drones and the corrupted warriors with everything we got. Rea's friends were quite a handful, Janice manage to subdue the drones using her bubble attack while Adam blast them off with his Airzooka since Janice is the only one who has an active shield. Shane fought of some warriors and blast the drones, he was breaking off without a sweat which was a good thing the armor was impenetrable. The avengers manage to fight them off but they just kept on coming.

Shane said, blasting the drone, "Woah, these guys never gives up, don't they?"X said, shooting at them, "What do we do? Should we fall back and regroup?"Rocket said, "Don't you get it? There is no falling back. This is a one way trip."Adam said, "Yeah we just have to keep trying and hope we can keep this up much longer."

  The Dark Kingdom...  

  Jedah stood alone in his ruined citadel. What was once a housing fit his grand symbiote fed upon a million souls, was now empty and held only echoes, as he thought of what to do next before Dante arrived.  "Dante, Son of Sparda. A half demon and half human, a traitor to both."    Jedah said. "Do you all really think...?"

  "Man...just stop talking." Dante said. "Let's do this!" he said before Jedah grabbed him with his claws and tossed him aside.  "How does it feel, half-blood....to know that you failed?" Jeddah said with his turned back. 

"Failed?"

When red sparking from Dante floated from the ground as It flashed before he stood there withhis appearance changed. "I'm just getting warmed up." Dante said. "Your arrogance will be your undoing... half-blood." Jedah said. Both Jedah and Jedah clashed in multiple places before clashing in the center of the altar, claw on sword. Jedah tapped into all of his dark power as their attacks collided, making the air blast away before both were knocked back. Dante took the Soul Stone from Jedah who fell back in a weakened state."No...only the most noble of souls are allowed to wield the power of that stone." Jedah said weakly.

"I let you live. Sounds pretty noble to me." Dante said as he stared at the Soul Stone which was shining brightly as the power surged through him. "Ah...I see now, its allure. This power is.....intoxicating. The Soul Stone has shown me the begining---and the end. Even four stones won't be enough to take down Ultron Sigma. If that's the future that awaits us, I'm gonna do things my way..."Dante said as he left the Dark Kingdom, leaving Jeddah in weak body.

Meanwhile in Abel City...

Iron Man and Thanos had taken Ryu, Gamora, Frank, Zero, Apu and Rea to Sigma's Lab. They stared at the monitor that Iron man and Apu's design. "All right, We're in business." Iron Man said. Gamora said, "Its beautiful.." Rea compliment, "Good job with the design, Apu." Apu smiled sheepishly with his hand behind his head. "Well it'll be beautiful when it works." Iron man said. "Keep a lookout for Ultron Sigma's goons. Strange's Magic and Rea's time power should keep us hidden, but if it fails....Last thing we need right now is another fight with those guys." 

Frank said, "Amen to that." Gamora looked back at Thanos then at Iron man and said cautiously, "Be careful." As they went out to make sure the drones do not find them, All of them left except Frank. Frank said, "Thought I might stay---capture the moment?"  Iron man said, "Its your funeral." AS he head back to work which made system back online while Frank went to talk to Rea about her world.  "Alright, lets work fast---so, What are we doing?"

"We?" Thanos said. "You could not hope to comprehend such power." 

"Just becoz we do not know how, doesn't mean we have to try." Apu said, hiding behind Iron man. 

"I shall phrase it in a way your feeble minds might understand."

"Now, now you guys----play nice." Rea scolded them.

"The Infinity Stones share a single harmonic frequency. The device must be turned to make them sing."

Iron man was about to say something however Apu beat him into it. "To amplify and regulate their power output, just like what I did to the Energy Projector." Apu concluded. 

"Indeed." Thanos said to him. 

'Huh this kid really is smart'  Iron man thought and said, "See that wasn't so hard." Thanos didn't finish as he added, "I need only for the Time Stone to be in range, while the dyanactic interphase field chronocatalyzes." Apu thought about it and figured it out as he said, "So in other words, it only take a few moments, right?"

"Yes. It would seem you were able to understand."

Iron man was surprised that Apu was able to understand what Thanos meant in 2 seconds. Apu was glad he read all about mathematical equations and theories when it comes to reading comics by comparing them. "Uh, sure....You do that." Iron man said to Thanos. As Thanos and Apu stared at the monitor, Iron man moved away from the system and said, "So, This is it---ground zero for the Convergence. Huh...looked bigger in the flashback." 

Thanos questioned, "Flashback?" which caught Frank and Rea's attention.

"Flashback-----vision? After our....super team up attack destroyed the symbiote----you didn't see that? Huh, must have been just me."

"What did the Time Stone reveal to you?"

Apu's body tensed, having a bad vibe about this as he stepped away from Thanos and stood beside Rea who was interested of what Iron Man saw. 

"Death, Ultron, your part of the Convergence---everything."

"And yet you said nothing to your peers...."

"We still needed your help. And besides, the Convergence? You played your part, sure---but, well...you were played."

  "Explain...." Thanos demanded, turning to the Armored Avenger.  "Ok, this is starting to get awkward." Rea said, causing Apu to nod. Iron man pointed out, " Death, Jeddah, working together, using you---betraying you?" 

"You lie." Thanos voice boomed.

  "Oh...you didn't know. That's Awkward." Iron Man said. Frank said, not liking this, "Uh, Stark...?" Apu said in a shaky voice, "I don't think its not the best time to peeved him further....." 

 "Give me the Time Stone. I will see through your deceit and then...I will kill you." Thanos said."Oh yeah? No way. Go get him, Frank!" Iron Man said."What? Me? Are you insane? He's gonna kill me!" Frank said. "Well they say journalism is a dying profession." Iron Man said."Of all the times...." Frank said. "Well, may as well go out swinging." he said getting his bat out. Thanos charged at the two as both dodged, Iron Man firing his repulsor rays at the Mad Titan.

Rea and Apu were standing on other side, watching them fight. "I knew I had a bad feeling about this. We probably should have seen this coming. Bring the biggest jerk in the universe with you and he betrays you." Rea said, mentally facepalmed. "This is partially due to Tony's nit picking." Apu said. "Hey, why are you accusing me of this?!" Iron Man said as he dodged a punch from Thanos.

"Apparently, Its your fault for making him angry."Apu shouted to him. "Just give him the time stone, and let him see what you said to him!" Rea said. Iron man wasn't listening as they continued fighting. Frank tried to hit him with a bat but Thanos grabbed it and tossed to the side along with Frank. Apu turned to Rea, "Uh....shouldn't you help them? I mean you are the only one in infinite form and has the power as the infinity stones."Rea gave a blank expression that she forgotten she has infinite power. Rea said, "Well, I never fought a warlord before but I guess I should give it my best."

Thanos was about to punch Frank until Rea appeared in front him and blocked his fist. Rea was surprised that she didn't felt hurt from her hand so she grabbed his wrist and throws over her shoulder. Frank said, "Woah I didn't know your that strong."Rea said skeptically, "actually I don't even know my strength."THanos got up slowly as Iron man powered his repulsor while Rea charged her cosmic energy, forming from the palm of her hands to her fingertips as they both blast at Thanos, rendering him fell on the ground.

Frank said, "No way.....we beat him"

Rea said, "I can't believe we actually did it."

Iron man said, giving a pat on the back to Frank and high five to Rea, "I know you can do it you two." 

"We won."Frank said. However their celebration was short lived as Thanos got up and punched Iron Man. He used gravitational power to levitate Frank and Rea, much to Apu's frightened look. Thanos said, " I would expect nothing less of the Infinity Stone. But our time here is at an end." Using his power, Frank was tossed on the floor while Rea was tossed to where Apu tried to catch her but instead she collided with him on the floor. Rea's back was on top of Apu, leaving them unconscious. Thanos walked towards to Iron man who tried to get up but he grabbed his wrist and turned him to the side. He took the Time Stone from Iron man's hand as he see through the vision until his expression was turned to anger. "Why...?"

Ryu, Gamora, and Zero arrived at the scene when they saw Thanos. Ryu said, "Stark!!"Iron man stood up weakly and said, "Hey, its true what they say----love hurts."

"Indeed...."Thanos said as he turned to others. "And you shall all share my pain....."

Rea POV

We were unconscious since Thanos attack, I hear fighting then became silence. As I wearily woke up to see Thanos was doing something to the system as if he was working the device. I felt a moaning sound behind as I turned to see Apu which I was on top of him. I moved off him and asked, "Oh my gosh, Your ok? Apu...."

"Technically, I'm alright. That's the 3rd time I get hit by something else."Apu said weakly. We turned to see Thanos punching Ryu then extracting dark power from him as Ryu fainted. I went over to Ryu's body with worry as Thanos said, "The Satsui No Hado....a dark power from another realm. You are not worthy of this gift. And now I must take my leave of you."He was about to leave when GAmora pointed her gun behind his head while I stood beside her in case he do anything bad.

Gamora said, "I can't allow you to leave the Time Stone. You've already taken enough.

"You have nothing to offer. Keep it...."Thanos said, tossing the time stone to me. "I have no used of this pebble.....This is what I came here for."

Gamora threatened, "The next time I see you, I will kill you."

"You will try..."as he disappeared from our sight. Apu walk towards me and said, "For a warlord, he really is scary...."I nod at him as I turned to see the group got into their feet. Iron Man and Frank reeling, but conscious and Ryu recovering, yet something was different about him. I glared at Iron Man and said, "We'll never talk about this.....EVER."Iron man nodded that we decided to keep this secret between ourselves. "Are you alright, Ryu? Looks like Thanos hit you hard." Apu said. "I'm fine, in fact... my mind feels peaceful. Calm." Ryu said.

"Why do I get the feeling that isn't a good thing?" I said."Ah, don't sweat it." Iron Man said as Dr. Strange appeared. "Is the weapon finished?" the sorcerer asked."More or less, so i guess it's our turn to join the party?" I said. "Indeed." Dr. Strange said. "Well let's not keep everyone waiting. Come on guys, it's time for a grand entrance!" Iron Man said as we all headed out for the last stand with Ultron Sigma.
