Hey! Thanks so much for opening this book. Before we begin (it's going to be a... wild ride, from what I have planned) I'd like to make a few things clear.

First: EdsGryff, many many thanks for letting me use Sanya Reza-Pevensie, I treasure this opportunity. (That sounds cheesy and fake, but I promise it's not!!)

Second: As always with fanfiction, I *do not* own Prince Caspian, the Pevensies, or Narnia. The only original aspects, belonging to me, are the plot and a few characters that I will name in the chapters they appear in.

Third: Yes, I have another book. Yes, I probably should update it. Yes, I lost inspiration for it. Sorry to anyone who particularly liked it! It's not discontinued, just on a very very long hiatus until I know how to keep going. Promise!

Fourth: The posting schedule should be (semi) regular. I'm going to aim for uploading once every 3 weeks ish, though depending on time and motivation that could change.

Fifth: for the purpose of the story, the kids are aged as they are in CS Lewis's books. That means (after the events of Prince Caspian the book) Peter is 14, and Caspian is 13, for the beginning of this story. Is this purely so that I can have more flexibility with the writing? Yes. Does it mean that there'll be more (hopefully better) character development? Also yes. It works, trust me. If they don't "act their age", I'd like you to remember that this was the 1940s, and in the middle of the Second World War, so people grew up much quicker. I know what I'm doing.

Sixth (edited in Mar 2022 because I forgot sorry!): TRIGGER WARNINGS. Implied/referenced past abuse; PTSD from said abuse; war; death; slight gore in later chapters (which will have warnings in applicable chapters); racism, sexism, homophobia (because as much as I want the angels to thrive it's the 1940s and yes that is a plot point); internalized homophobia. If you want me to add anything, please please please tell me and I will add it in immediately here and at the beginning of the next chapter being published.
