She sat there staring, barely blinking
Into nothing, seriously thinking.
I wish I could tell you what she thought,
In her mind she stored quite a lot.

She crinkled her nose in concentration,
Frozen still with the utmost patience.
Her untamed hair fell in her eyes,
I wondered if the beauty continued inside.

Although she's smart, she couldn't tell
About the men falling into her well.
They tried to whistle and then tried winking,
But all they wanted was to know what she's thinking.
