FIFTEEN. how to swoon the womanizer a book by raven st. james

COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE letters were coming close and Raven St. James was determined to get into Brown University no matter what it took.

Mr. Moseby and Ms. Tutweiller soon entered the classroom saying that they had an announcement to make.

"You guys are getting married?" Bailey asked.

"No!" Mr. Moseby exclaimed, "I just spoke with Mr. Tipton. It seems the ship has been sold. So Seven Seas High is closing."

"What about finals?" Cody asked.

"What about graduation?"

The group of teens began throwing questions towards Mr. Moseby that he could answer at once but he was able to calm the down to at least speak his mind.

"We still have a week to sort everything out before we reach New York and the ship is dismantled."

"Yay! They're taking apart this stupid sea school! Yay!" London cheered.

After her cheers were deadpanned by the crowd, the majority of the group decided to hang out in the Aqua Lounge.

But Raven came in a moment later with her letter from Brown. She held her unopened letter as she made her way towards her group of friends.

She sat down next to Zack and began to open her letter with the others present.

And with a simple rip of the letter she revealed to everyone that she was accepted into Brown with ease and that her essay was "a daring choice that cemented their decision".

"And it's only an hour away from Boston." She smiled, "I've got to call my mom."

She excused herself from the others and made her way back to her cabin to make the phone call.

Everything was looking up for the kids at Seven Seas High.

THE NEXT day on the Sky Deck, Raven found herself by Zack

"We should talk."

"Sure. How about over dinner tonight?" She smiled, "My treat."

"Uh, sure."

But he had alternative motive that night. He was going to break up with Raven... but he couldn't. He simply couldn't see himself breaking up with her. No excuse in his book could help him find a reason to break up with her.

He'd broken up with plenty of girls before. He'd done it through email, text, and blog post... so why couldn't he break up with Raven.

The answer was simple... he loved her. After all this time and all of the girls he dated before her... Raven was the first person he actually loved and was willing to make the whole long distance thing work.

So that night, Zack sat down with Raven in the now deconstructed Aqua Lounge.

"I've been thinking about this long-distance relationship thing. I know it's gonna be hard, but we care about each other and we can make this work. We'll video chat every single day."

"I'm sure I'll be pretty busy once I start school."

"Then we'll just have to call each other."

Raven sighed and pulled her essay form behind, "I think you might want to read my essay before you gather any thoughts about us being together."

He furrowed his brows and looked down at the essay. And right there in the dark, Times New Roman font read, How to Swoon the Womanizer by Raven St. James.

"Is this about me?" He asked.

"I started writing it a couple of months ago." She answered, "I rather you read it now and figure out if this relationship is truly worth it."

She stood up from her seat and left Zack alone with her essay.

And she would've hear from him for days... in fact, she wouldn't even see the boy until graduation day.

And that day whipped its head around and Raven was finally able to meet Zack and Cody's parents... I'll be it, in the most unlikely scenario.

Cody was upset about not getting into Yale and wasn't planning on coming out of his cabin while Zack really didn't know how to feel about Raven's essay.

"Zack's not coming out of his cabin either." Raven said, "I'm Raven, by the way. Zack's... maybe, still girlfriend."

With that, Zack and Cody's parents ventured off to their dorm rooms to try and cheer up their sons, which worked in ways and they were both present during their very hectic graduation.

But it was done. High school was over and only one thing stood in between Zack and Raven's relationship.

Her essay.

She held her yearbook under her arm as she approached her... boyfriend? Her ex? She didn't really know at the moment.

"I'm glad you were able to make it to graduation." She smiled, "It probably would've seemed normal to some people."

Zack returned the smile, "I'm sure. Had some people to prove wrong." He cleared his throat before looking back up at her, "I finished reading your essay. I can see why you got into Barkley."

"Brown."

"Same difference."

"There's actually a huge difference." She said, "I don't think Barkley is a prestige college. I don't even know if Barkley is—"

"Anyway." He cut off, "It's a really good essay. I think my favorite part was the end."

"Because it was over?"

"No. Because you said," He began, flipping to the last page, "'The last step in swooning the womanizer is to fall for him because he truly showed you that he cares. He might mess up and he might miss out on an important event to hang with the guys, but he tried. He's always trying. He tried with me and to think... I was actually jealous at some point.'" He read, "That night in the Aqua Lounge I was planning on breaking up with you."

"Really?" Raven questioned.

"But I realized that I would rather make things work because I felt a way that I've never felt about anyone ever until I started dating you." Zack said, "Anyway... can I sign your yearbook?"

Zack didn't give her a chance to respond as he grabbed the yearbook from her hands and began signing in an empty spot in her yearbook.

He returned the book with a small smile and she grabbed it with furrowed brows.

She looked down at the book and read what he had written down before looking up at with the softest eyes he'd ever seen on her.

Without hesitation, Zack leaned in and placed a soft, gentle kiss on her lips. It was a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes about his feelings for her.

Raven's heart fluttered as she closed her eyes, savoring the moment. She wrapped her arms around Zack's neck, deepening the kiss, and he responded in kind, pulling her closer.

Finally, they pulled away, breathless and grinning from ear to ear.

"I love you, Raven." Zack whispered.

"I love you too," Raven replied, her eyes shining with happiness.

If you were to sit and watch Raven create her essay from start to finish you would've seen how she struggled with an ending.

Because that essay not only put her acceptance letter to Brown on the line but her relationship with Zack, which she grew to quickly care for.

Yeah, he was a womanizer, but he was able to prove himself to her. He was even able to tell her that he loved her. Don't think your average womanizer could do such a thing.

Raven and Zack were polar opposites... but you know what they say.

Opposites attract and they were one hundred percent correct about Raven St. James and Zack Martin.
