Attack on the school
Your POV:
I stare out of the window as the teacher talks, the outside world being way more interesting than whatever they are teaching. Soon, something catches my attention, movement in the playground which should be empty.
I look at the kid that couldn't be over seven years old. His clothes are torn and dirty, but I can't see more from how far I am. Frowning in confusion, I suddenly realize that he's gone. What the hell, wasn't he there two seconds ago?
My eyes roam the playground searching for him but he seems to have disappeared. Shaking my head in disbelief, I turn back to the teacher, everyone oblivious to what happened. All the horrors movies I watched last weekend are starting to get to my head.
My eyes open and I start to panic, not understanding where I am. Calm down, you're in your room. I look around and it's true. I didn't realize I fell asleep. I can see that.
I roll my eyes as I sit up. Always with the sarcasm and sassiness. That's one thing that hasn't changed, at least.
Do you remember when you used to not talk to yourself? Yeah, the good old times. Well, technically, you're not me. Details, details. Yeah, right, remember when you weren't such a bitch? No, I don't remember, actually.
A chill suddenly runs up my spine as I come back to reality. Nothing seems to have changed and I don't feel any danger, but then why do I feel like something is going to happen? Maybe because something always happens when it's calm.
You're right! What if something happened while I was sleeping!? I'm joking, calm down. I can feel your stress and it's uncomfortable. You're probably just worrying because everyone left except for you, Logan and the kids.
Shit, Logan is stuck here taking care of the kids, I should go help him. Looking out of the window, I see that it's the night. Everyone should be asleep then. It didn't feel like I slept that long though. I'm going to make myself some hot milk, it'll help calm me down.
Walking to the kitchen, I hear two people talking to each other. Curiosity takes the best of me and I hide next to the doorway to listen. "How long you been here?" Logan, I shouldn't be surprised. "Couple years." Bobby, that's who he's talking to?
"And your parents just sent you off to mutant school?" I can hear Logan ask. "Actually, my parents think this is a prep school." Oh. Oh, indeed. "Oh, I see." God, Logan, are you reading my mind or what?
Not wanting to break the somehow-bonding moment between the two, I silently make my way down the corridor. "You should have killed me when you had the chance!" I swiftly turn around with wide eyes at the voice, but no one is there.
Am I going crazy? No, I heard it too, and I know whose voice it is. What do you mean? That was Magneto. (Y/N), you were right, something is wrong. We need to get out of here now before it's too late. What?
The sound of footsteps forces me back to reality. The kids! As I turn around in a panic, I hear a loud screeching sound. Shit, shit, shit! I have the reflex to put a sound barrier around me and then see men with guns putting their hands on their ears.
Before I can attack them, Logan rushes out of the kitchen with Bobby who locks eyes contact with me. I put down the sound barrier just in time to hear Logan say "Stay here," before walking towards the men.
I nod towards Bobby who goes into the elevator as I teleport outside, seeing people get out of helicopters. What the hell is going on!? (Y/N), let me take care of this. Alright, but only hurt slash kill bad guys. Deal.
Normal POV:
She immediately leaps into action, transforming mid-jump as she makes large vines attack the helicopters that soon crash on the ground. As evil guys start shooting at her, she makes a wall of rock, blocking her from their view.
Suddenly, bad guys start dying, large cuts on their necks. Dark (Y/N) continues teleporting and stabbing them when she sees another helicopter arriving. Distracted, she hears gunshots but still gets shot in the shoulder, the wound making her even more pissed.
"You are going to pay for that."
Instead of attacking more men though, she teleports back inside of the school, hiding as she listens to a man talk to Logan.
"Well, I must admit, this is certainly the last place I'd expect to find you. How long has it been? Fifteen years? You haven't changed one bit. Me, on the other hand - nature," Says the man.
Dark (Y/N) rolls her eyes in annoyance. Yet another pest of a villain that feels like he can say and do anything without consequence. How boring.
"I didn't realize Xavier was taking in animals, even animals as unique as you." A low growl escapes Dark (Y/N)'s mouth without her realizing. She may not take kindly to anyone, but she remembers when people called her an animal, a monster, and she would never let someone else feel what she felt.
Ignoring what they're saying, she closes her slightly darker (E/C) eyes and concentrates of the man's mind, searching it for his plan.
Your POV:
I feel myself taking back the control of my own body and I look around seeing that I'm in a car between fireboy and iceboy. I look around, ignoring their stares, and see Logan driving with Rogue is the passenger seat.
"Is everyone okay? Where are we going?" I'm surprised at the calmness in my voice. Now that I think about it, this must be the calmest I've been in a while now. It's because you've just fought people. You like it as much as I do, even though you may not admit it.
"We're going to my parents' house," Answers Bobby. I nod and glance at my hands, seeing blood all over them which makes me close my eyes at the bad memories this image brings. These were bad guys, it's okay.
"Is that blood on your hands?" Shut up, fireboy. I turn to him with an unreadable expression. "Don't ask questions if you don't want answers," Is all I say before looking directly in front of me to try and forget everything that has happened.
Hey, you need to know something. You can tell me later. Right now, I just want to be left alone, please. Fine, whatever floats your boat, but don't try to act like you regret killing those guys.
