After I finished eating the granola bar I said "So..." I trailed off, not knowing what to say. 

"So what?" He asked.

"Who is going to talk first?" 

"Well since this whole thing was your idea, then you should probably talk first." I gaped at the idea of me taking charge of an Alpha Meeting. I mean I only became leader because my mom and Dad became sick and they couldn't lead the pack. So I became temporary pack leader. But my parents got so sick that they died and I became the permanent Alpha. The people I am living with are actually just a kind couple that adopted me because I had no other family to live with. They had done so much for me that it felt right to call them mom and dad. 

"I..I...I.." I couldn't get any words out. 

"You'll be fine he said rubbing my shoulder and gazing into his blue eyes, I realized just how much I love him. Still rubbing my should he leaned in and hugged me. "You will be fine." He whispered into my ear. He pulled but not all the way. Our foreheads came together and I gazed into his eyes and he gazed into mine. Twisting his head he gave slid his lips across mine. 

"Now who's the one misbehaving?" I said playfully. Laughing he smiled. I had never heard him laugh like he has today. It was true and full of love. Yet full of adventure and danger. And man oh man did I love a man who was dangerous. It gives you a sense of what life really is. 

"Oh, I brought something for you." He said reaching into his pocket and pulling out a golden chain necklace. At the bottom there was a white wolf made out of diamonds. This was a very expensive necklace. 

"Jake, you shouldn't have. This is such a beautiful necklace, and it's made of gold and diamonds, it must be very expensive."

"Actually I didn't buy this. It's been passed down through my whole family. Unless it's a girl the girl get a golden wolf with a diamond chain. But for the boys we get this and whichever girl we declare as our mate we give this to them. It's kinda like a family tradition."

"Still...." I said but stopped. Sighing I said gratefully, "Thank you."

"You welcome." He said flashing me a smile.
