~Chapter Two~

(Pravus POV)

          “What’s your name?” he asked. Stunned by the gentleness in his voice, I answered:

          “Pravus.”

          “Pravus” the name rolled of his tongue like he was tasting it.  “Pravus, do you want to live?”

          I nodded.

          “Okay, I have a plan,” he whispered, “I am going to pretend to kill you, that way you can get out of this hell hole”

          “W-w-what about you?” I asked concerned. He smiled sadly.

          “Nothing that I can’t handle. Just tell anyone you find and I might be saved. Ready?”

          He lunged and I lunged back.

(Vikas POV)

“SHIT!” I yelped. A small gash on my belly was there. All I could think or say was “SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!”

(Pravus POV)

          Vikas looked at me with horrified eyes and kept swearing and mumbling something along the lines of: “their gonna beat me harder now…”

          I stared confused

          “Okay, not a problem, I can handle it.” Vikas comforted himself. For a cold-blooded killer, he was very nice.

          “Really ready this time?” he asked and I nodded and he lunged again. Before I blacked out he asked me “How old are you?”

          “dog years or wolf years?” (i.e. wolf years are like human years. Dog years are 5x less)

          “Wolf years.”

          “23, how old are you?” I asked.

          “16.” He smiled sadly. My eyes widened and I blacked out.
