It was dark stormy night. Strong winds were blowing making branches of trees shaking vigorously.
One boy was passing from jungle while hugging his bag in little fear as the atmosphere became little scary with lightning ⚡.

Suddenly a loud sound came and due to which his bag fall down and his foot twisted while trying to hold it and he fell down leeting out a small shriek,"Aaahh!! Ohh! It's the phone."
He looked at the caller and cursed a little and said irritatingly," What's wrong with you little worm? Why are you scaring me? Go and glare your little books and scare them."

That person said," Just shut up Krish Trish! Books get scared of you not me. They are my friends. You have enemity from them."

(That person alone in dense jungle is out hero Krish.)

Krish,"Bloody bookworm! Why you called me this time?"

That person whispered and peeped out of room once and returned and sat on his bed," Oh! So, you know what the time is? Where the hell you are Krishy boy? I cannot handle your family anymore. They are asking many questions that why you are not coming out from room and why I am not letting them in and answering on your behalf. You better get here fast or be ready for concequences."

Then Krish's mother came and knocked and that person again went to door and listened to her. She told her she and Krish's father and his elder sister are going to attend some wedding alongwith that person's family. They are neighbours.

Krish," Listen Sona"

(This person who is handling everything for Krish is his childhood best friend Sona. They grew up together as their houses face each other. Even they went to same school and now they are going to same college.)

Sona," No! You listen! Reach here in 5 mins or but wait... First tell me where are you and who leaves a chit with three words 'handle everything Sona' ? You could have told me properly. And am I your assistant that whenever you say anything I should obey?"

Krish," But you listen to me everytime. You left your phone in park and your brother found it and he knows your password. He would have seen my messages and told at my home. Where am I? I am sitting in jungle which at the back of our society, on the ground talking to you."

Sona became shocked," What! Are you mad?"

Krish," My foot got"

Before he can complete he got dragged by someone or can say some animal. Everything happened too fast that he cannot understand what has happened?

Sona heard his scream and panicked," Krish! Krish! Helloo!! Say something please! Are you alright?"

She just heard one howl and call got disconnected.

She became very tensed and scared too. So, without wasting a second she went to her house and took her scooty and go to the jungle to find him.

She reached there in 10 mins due to the fast speed with which she drived and covered 20 min distance in 10. Then it took her more 15 minutes to find him.

Krish was lying on ground unconscious with some blood around him. Tears came out out her eyes. She sat beside him on her knees and patted his cheek lightly.

Sona," Krish! Krish!"

She looked here and there and found his bag at a little distance and go and took out water bottle out from it and splashed some water on his face.

He slowly gained his conscious and looked at her crying. He put his one hand where he got injured and wiped her tears from other hand.

He whimpered a little and said," I am fine."

He got up with help of her and sat down. She examined his wound shockingly.

Krish," Madam are you going to operate me or will take to hospital? Or am I looking that attractive that you cannot stop but stare?"

Sona," Shut up! You cannot take it seriously despite of being in this situation. You never take anything seriously."

Krish," The day I stop enjoying the life and stop joking, change my name."

She frowned.

Krish," Uff! I am fine sweetie. It's just a scratch."

Sona," Just a scratch ! Really? And don't call me sweetie. Get up now!"

Krish,"Okay it's little deep. But it will be fine."

Sona said while helping him getting up," That wolf's claw must be pretty sharp."

Krish," Wolf? There is no wolf in this city or jungle. This will is of some wild dog."

Sona,"There is one, who attacked you. I heard a wolf's howl on the phone before you got attacked."

Krish," Strange..."

Sona," What strange? What happened with you?"

Krish," I don't know. I was walking then my foot twisted then when I was talking to you I got dragged and on the way my head got hit by some stone and I fainted."

Sona," Let's go."

She somehow made him sit in scooty and took him to nearby clinic.

There doctor also said that it looks like canine marks of some dog as there is no wolf in their city. Krish gave her a winning look. Doctor said that dog must have dragged him by his teeth that's why the marks are longer and deeper. But Sona was not satisfied by his answer.

Sona," Krish is this huge in size and dogs are smaller. How could a small dog dragged him?"

Krish," Don't underestimate power of wild dog. They are strong you wild cat."

Sona hummed only. She took him out and the whole way to his home she was quiet which was irking Krish. She took him to him room and make him lie down and as she turned to go Krish stopped her.

Krish," What? Why are you acting like a bloody robotic mannequin? Say something."

Sona," Robotic mannequin? Is that a thing?"

Krish," Ask your books and me why are you upset? Are you angry because I called you wild cat?"

Sona," No!"

Krish asked with a fascinated expression," So, you are okay with me calling you that?"

Sona," What no! I was saying I am not angry with you. No I am angry but I was quiet because I was thinking something."

Krish," About what?"

Sona," Umm... Nothing... I have to go. I will come over in morning and we are not going college tomorrow. Bye!"

Krish," But listen to... Gone! I cannot understand her."

Krish closed his eyes but opens with a jerk when his door opened its a thud. It was Sona.

Krish," What now? Got another psycho attack?"

Sona," Shut up! I came back to give you dinner in your room so that you don't have to get up from bed and step out from room then walk all the till kitchen. You should be grateful to me." She said last line rolling her eyes.

Krish,"Oh! If this is it then thanks Divya aunty who gave birth to you and make sure you develop a careful nature."

Sona," That wolf should have eaten you raw completely."

She ran out angrily.
