Brenna shockingly speaks, "You are alive? How... I mean you..." The person's face hides in the shadow as the mild rays of the afternoon sun enhances his curly brown hair.

"Sean!" Luna stumbles inside tailed by the two masked men of Brenna. The men try to hold her back but she pushes them and dashes towards Sean.

"You mean how I'm alive? Thanks to..." But Sean is stopped as Luna shouts again, "Sean!"

Elroy, Sean and Brenna looks at Luna. Sean and Elroy shouts her name in unison while Sean runs towards Luna leaving Brenna's wrist. But before he can, the men hold both Luna and Sean, respectively.

"Well, well, well! What a family reunion! Where's that officer?" Brenna shouts mockingly and moves towards Sean.

The shorter man replies as he firms his hold on Sean, "He is unconscious."

"Hmm." Stopping in front of Sean, Brenna moves her sharp nailed forefinger on his rough face as she hisses, "So, who saved you that night?" She stops her finger in between his collarbone and glares at Luna as she continues, "This slut?"

Sean moves his head away and screams, "You are disgusting! Yes, they saved me. Luna and Elroy saved me that night, but your mad brain made a perfect plan to kill me."

"So, you agree, huh? But sadly, you didn't die. Looks like it's in your destiny to meet her again." Brenna turns towards Iris behind whom Ciana is hiding.

They stupefy both Iris and Ciana. But Iris fixes her eyes only on Sean. Seeing Iris in such a state, Sean lowers down his gaze guiltily.

"It's... You!" Iris is looking at him as if he is the eighth wonder of the world.

"Yes bitch! It's him! The asshole for whom you all are in this shit." Brenna moves closer to Iris and pulls Ciana out as she continues blurting her suppressed rage out, "Yes! It's him. The jerk who separated me from my daughter. Took away my Ciana and gave her to someone else that too whom?"

Brenna glares daggers at Iris and says, "To a so-called mother who can't even protect her own daughter."

Brenna shifts her eyes but this time she looks at Luna and shouts, "It's him! My fucking husband who sent me to that disgusting asylum. Made me stay among all those mental people and... you saved this bastard?" For the first time Brenna breaks down as tears stain her golden tanned skin.

Ciana stands there as she intakes everything like sour medicine. Iris looks at Brenna as tears well up in her eyes. Luna and Elroy lock their eyes and a rage storms in both of them. But Elroy is too tired to let them out while Luna screams out her lungs, "Sean! What the hell is she saying? You... you are Ciana's father? You didn't even care to tell me that you're married and... and why did you sent her to an asylum? I... I never thought you... you" Luna loses her words as tears choke her.

"No! Luna! Believe me! All I did was only to protect my daughter from her. You don't even know her. She is mentally unstable. Damn! Believe me Lu! Plea..."

Slap!

Brenna slaps Sean hard as she shouts, "Protect from me! Me! I'm her mother! I always protected her. It was never you!"

Brenna grabs Sean's collar and spits her burning lava, "It was me who protected her every fucking time! She would have been dead by now if I didn't stop your mother every time!"

Brenna pushes Sean and moves back. Sean looks at her with frustration and shouts, "For god's sake Bree! How many times have I told you, she just wanted to feed her? Ciana was her grandchild! She loved her the way like she loved us!"

"So what? Ciana is my daughter! Your mother may love her. But that doesn't mean she has the effing right to feed my daughter! I told her many times to stop! Ciana is my daughter! And no one else can take my place in her life! But that hag was trying to do that! And so... so," Brenna starts laughing hysterically as she says in between her laugh, "So... I... hahaha... I killed her! hahaha! Yes, I killed your mother!"

"You... you what? You... killed that mother who... loved you, gave you shelter when... when you lost your own family. You kill... killed her?" Betrayal, pain, disgust are dancing in Sean's eyes.

"Yes! I killed her because she tried to take my place in my daughter's life and..." Brenna turns towards Iris as she glares at her, "Now it's your time Bitch!"

"No!" Elroy, Sean and Luna shouts out while Ciana stares at her devil mother.

"You psycho!" Luna shouts as she wriggles to escape.

"Stop it Brenna! Why are you hurting Iris? It was my fault! I gave Ciana to her!" Sean shouts as he tries to change Brenna's mind.

Hearing this, another smoke of rage engulfs Brenna. Dashing towards Sean, she grabs his collar and makes him look into her stormy, teary green eyes.

"Yes! Exactly! It was all your fucking fault! Did you even realize how painful it was for me when I woke up next day and... and couldn't find... find my daughter. Did you feel the pain? No! You didn't! Because it was not you... it. was. Not. You who gave birth to stillborn babies. Repeatedly. Once... twice... thrice... every time! Every single time I gave birth, and they all were... dead. Dead! Do you know where it hurt me most?"

Brenna leaves his collar and hits her finger on his heart. "Here! Every time I saw the lifeless bodies of my... babies, it rip my heart off my body! My heart crunched... smashed... as if bolts of thunder stroke me all together. My heart didn't pain. It bled! And at every death, my heart bled more and more and more..."

Brenna crashes her head on Sean's chest as she cried. Her howling cries shake every one present there, including Ciana. Ciana's green eyes moisten as she feels the pain of her birth mother. Slowly, Ciana walks up to Brenna and holds her hand. Feeling the love she was dying for, Brenna looks at Ciana, lovingly. She embraces her as if Ciana is the only twinkling light in her darkness. But as Brenna opens her eyes, she sees Iris and her anger returns.

Brenna breaks the embrace and looks at Sean coldly. His eyes are a ship full of various emotions. He speaks calmly, "But that doesn't mean you can go on killing. You know what? I should have called the police when I got to know that you killed the innocent child of our neighbour in the name of saving our unborn Ciana!" Sean roars in desperation as his anger increases.

At the same moment a thunderous growl flashes across the sky. And within a blink of an eye, the clear evening sky gets engulfed by stormy black night. Howling of wind and creaking of the wooden door shivers everyone present in the room, except Ciana. Her gaze is down. She slowly steps back. Her lips are moving but the howling wind is suppressing her words. Suddenly, she rushes towards Iris and hides her face at the crook of her neck. Iris' eyes widen as she hears Ciana's words, "She... killed someone for... me. For me everyone... died. I'm... bad. I should... die."

"No! Don't think like this, baby." Iris shouts as she looks at Elroy helplessly.

Elroy is clueless about Ciana's words. Others also look at her and once again Brenna's jealousy takes the form of her anger. She separates Ciana from Iris and pulls Ciana away."No! Leave me! You are bad. A bad mother! You are a bad mother" Ciana fights and screams.

Brenna leaves Ciana's hand and stares at her as Ciana rushes back to Iris. Brenna's eyes are blank. It is as if someone sucked all her emotions at one go.

She looks at Sean and laughs. "Now you are happy right? My daughter thinks I... I'm a bad... a bad mother. hahaha... bad... mother. That's why you said that right? So that... so that she hates me? Yes. I killed our neighbour's child. I killed. But it was a sacrifice."

Brenna looks at Ciana who is peeing at her while embracing Iris. "Believe me, darling. It was a sacrifice. When I got pregnant with you I was trying so... so many things to protect you. So that I... I can save my baby. And one day I met a woman in the store. She knew everything about me. Everything. She told me that if... if I offer a child's body to her, my child will be alive. At first I didn't agree. But... but when I heard the doctor saying this time also my... my child may... die, I... I accepted that woman's help."

Brenna turns towards Sean and holds his hands. "Be... believe me Sean. I didn't want to. But... but it was the only way. And you know it worked. Cia... Ciana came to our life. "My Ciana. She was born alive because I sacrificed that child. And... and you should be grateful for that! Not snatch her away and give her to some worthless mother!"

Sean pulls his hands from Brenna's hold and shouts, "You know very well why I did that! You were mentally unstable. You used to beat every child who wanted to play with her. You didn't even allow me to take her outside. You caged her with your obsessive love. You thought she was happy. But she was not! I could see the sadness in her eyes and also the happiness when she was with Iris. It was only for a short moment but... but I saw a smile on her face after she met Iris. She... never smiled like that before. So, when I found out Iris has lost her child, with a heavy heart I gave our Ciana to her. When I returned to the hospital, the doctor told me you not only have anger issues but you are also mentally unstable. It was them who send you to the asylum! Not. Me!"

Another thunderous flash strikes the night sky. Snow is falling as the cold wind pierces everyone's clothes.

"But you had the option to save me! And what did you chose? To dump me in that asylum!" Brenna's anger has now reached its height.

"Ah!" Iris shrieks out a pain as she crooks down.

"What happened?" Elroy shouts while Ciana moves back.

"My... my water broke." Iris blurts out as she hisses out her pain constantly.
