Heroes Rising

On Nabu Island, the Class 1-A students were doing a Hero Recommendation Project; a program set up by Principal Nezu; being All Might's idea. According to Aizawa, they were completely on their own with no teachers or pros to back them up. At the moment; Eva was down by the beach getting a kite out of a tree. Shoji was a lifeguard; Tsu would swim out each time someone got in trouble. Tokoyami, Dark Shadow, and Sero were now putting up a warning sign to not go swimming past the rocks.

"We didn't come to this place to put on a show," Todoroki said as Eva delivered a kite to a kid.

"Hey, Shoto!" a shop guy called. "Think you could maybe whip me up some more ice?"

"Sure," Todoroki said; he produced a boulder-sized block of ice. "Is that enough?"

"Are you kidding me?" the guy asked.

"Weren't you the one saying that we aren't here to show off?" Eva asked as she looked over; Shoto looked at her sheepishly.

"Hey, Violet Gust!" a person called; she looked over. "One of the turbines has stopped working, do you think you can?"

"On it," Eva smiled; she then took off. As she worked; she could see her classmates going above and beyond to help out...Katsuki wasn't helping much. He said he'd help when a real villain came around; so he was at the UA Hero Agency office. Soon everyone was back at the agency in their regular clothes and wiped out. Eva sitting on the windows fanning two ice chunks on either side of her; blowing cold air through the building.

"I'm exhausted," Sato groaned.

"We've gone Plus Ultra beyond what's allowed by the Labor Standards Act," Kaminari said.

"Hey, uh. How 'bout fewer smaller jobs?" Sero asked, raising his hand.

Ida looked from the table; he was sitting on the sofas with Yaoyorozu. "No can do! All jobs are equally vital." Todoroki slid between Eva's wing and the window, plopping down next to her.

Yaoyorozo got up. "It may be true that we came here as heroes, but remember we're still jsut students." They all looked at her. "We have to work hard and prove ourselves to earn the islanders' trust."

Mineta raised his hand. "Hey, uh, does that go for all of us, 'cause I know someone who hasn't done anything since we got here." He pointed at Bakugo.

"Well, somebody's gotta stay behind and watch the office, moron," Bakugo defended himself. "What're you gonna do if a villain shows up while all you geniuses are out doing stupid crap, uh?" He gave a thumbs down.

"Oh, come on," Kirshima smiled with his head on the table. "There aren't any villains on this island." The door opened; they all looked over to see the townspeople; they all had trays of food.

"Sorry for barging in," the Mayor apologized.

"Mr. Mayor," Ida greeted; taking a tray.

"It was so sweet of you to carry Granny to the hospital earlier. Thank you." Yaoyorozu ran over as well.

"And thanks for fixing that old bike of mine," an older woman said; the people all started to walk in.

"And our battery!" said Mr. Matsuba.

"And for keeping the beaches safe, too!" two girls said.

"And for fixing the turbine!" a woman added.

"Freshest fish on the island right here!" a man informed.

"Just a little something to show you how grateful we are that you're helping us," Ms. Suzumra said; they organized the tables setting down food.

"All right! Let's dig in!" All the students cheered.

"We're heroes, people!" Ida scolded them. "Show some restraint!" Ida and Yaoyorozu went to see the people out while everyone else remained inside.

"That was delicious!" Everyone said after they ate, Eva was sitting in an area with Tsu, Urakaka, Shoji, and Izuku.

Izuku sighed happily. "Wow, man, I'm so full!"

"You could really feel the love they put into their cooking," Shoji observed.

"They were extremely thoughtful," Eva agreed.

"Moments like these really remind me why I wanted to become a hero," Tsu said.

"Yeah," Urakaka agreed. Eva looked over at Katsuki; he still wasn't in a great mood.

"Kacchan of the Bakugos!" Kaminari greeted as he walked up with Sato, Tokoyami, Sero, and Mineta. "We're gonna go get cleaned up and hit the sack."

Kirishima sat up; putting a hand up by his head. "Night watch is all yours!"

Katsuki exploded. "WHAT?! WHY ME?!"

"Because you sat around the office all day," Sero answered. Bakugo swallowed his tongue in acceptance.

"I can stay up with you," Eva said as she fluttered into the room. "Not very heroic to leave it all to you."

"You are too nice to him sometimes," Sato huffed. After protests from the others, Eva did the night watch with Bakugo. He went on patrol around the island as Eva sat on top of Hero Agency keeping an eye on anything from there. Eva sat on the edge watching Izuku train for a bit; she noticed Katsuki was finishing up his round.

"Kacchan," Izuku greeted Bakugo.

Eva flew down. "How'd patrol go?"

"Everything's fine," Katsuki answered; he looked at Izuku. "Looks like you're getting a little better with One For All."

Izuku gasped putting a finger to his lips. "We can't talk about that here!" He turned toward the building. "What if somebody's listening?"

Bakugo walked passed him. "I'm not a big fan of waiting, ya know."

"Oh trust me, I think I know that better than anybody," said Izuku as he looked down. "You haven't changed much since we were kids."

Katsuki stopped next to Eva. "So hurry up and make that Quirk your own instead of his." He looked back. " Then we can finally have a real fight."

"You two are going to fight again?" Eva asked.

"I'm going to prove it to him once and for all," Katsuki said as he held out his arm. "I'm gonna be the number one hero, and he's gonna be in my dust."

Izuku grew serious and held up his fist. "Yeh, I'll work as hard as I have to until this power is truly mine. And then I'll be the greatest hero in the world!"

"Yeah, whatever," Katsuki grunted. "I'm gonna be greater than the greatest." The two stared at each other.

"'Scuse me," a little voice greeted, Eva looked past Izuku to see Katsuma, the little six-year-old that always ran around with his sister Mahoro who was 10.

Eva walked over and knelt in front of him. "Katsuma, why are you doing here?"

"Um, to tell you that..." Katsuma said as he began to look away. "There's a villain!" He looked up at them.

"A villain, where--?" Izuku began to ask.

Katsuki shoved him out of the way. "ALL RIGHT, BRAT, START TALKING!"

"Katsuki," Eva said as she pushed him back. "He's a child and scared...be more gentle." He clicked his tongue angrily in response. Eva carried Kastuma; he was telling them where to go, Katsuki was using his quirk to keep up and Izuku was running.

"What're you tagging along for, Deku?" Katsuki demanded.

"'Cause if there really is a villain, you might need backup," Izuku answered.

"Like I'd ever need help from you!" Katsuki shouted as he blasted up higher to Eva and Katsuma. "Hey, where is the damn villain, anyway?"

Katsuma pointed to a spot in the distance. "Um over there in those castle ruins."

"You coulda told us that sooner!" Katsuki shouted as he used a big blast, Eva followed.

"Mahoro!" Katsuma cried as he held onto Eva tighter. They got to the ruins to see a big pray mantis thing. "That's it!"

"Go hide," Katsuki ordered the two.

"But one of us needs to get Mahoro," Eva said as she placed Katsuma behind a ruin.
"You fight and I rescue."

"STUN GRENADE!" Katsuki shouted as he blasted up to the monster; the attack did nothing. "Wait a second."

"Kacchan!" Izuku shouted as the mantis stabbed Katsuki; he simply walked through the claw.

"Hm?" Eva asked as Katsuki slammed his fist into the ground; it made Mahoro reveal her hideout.

"It's gone," Izuku noted once the monster disappeared.

"Hey, that hurt," Mahoro cried as Eva flew over. "No fair." She looked up. "That thing was way scary, and you just stood there!"

"Mahoro?" Eva asked as Katsuki appeared next to her.

"So, I'm guessing you're the idiot who made that illusion?" Katsuki demanded.

Mahoro shrieked looking at him. "Um, how did you know that it was an illusion?"

"'Cause I'm not stupid!" Katsuki grunted. "It didn't have a shadow. So, you little brat. Is taunting heroes a hobby of yours? Well?" Mahoro whimpered, scooting back.

"She's just a kid," Eva said as she got in between the two, facing Katsuki; he was devoured in anger.

"Her cheap tricks won't work on me, 'cause I'm not like any hero she's met before," Katsuki declared. "You're looking at the next number one. The guy who'll be better than All Might was in his prime. That name's Katsuki Bakugo." He grew angrier. "I'm telling you right now, kid. You picked the wrong person to mess with!"

"Katsuki, please!" Eva pleaded as she held up her arms. "Be easier on the kid."

"Um," Katsuma sounded as he walked over. "Please don't yell at my big sister, sir."

"HUH!?" Katsuki asked; he looked down frighting Katsuma even more. "YOU were in on it, too, weren't you? Come here!"

"Stop!" Izuku shouted pulling Katsuki back. "They're just kids, Kacchan!"

Bakugo started to elbow him off. "Get your damn hands off me before I break 'em!" They fell over.

"Just be glad it wasn't a real villain!" Izuku shouted.

"You two should probably go," Eva advised the two. "He won't be calm til morning."

"KIDS ARE SUCH BRATS THESE DAYS!" Katsuki shouted; he started to speed crawl. "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?HUH!?"

"Katsuki!" Eva shouted as she put a wing in front of him. "You are taking it too far with those kids."

Katsuki shoved Izuku off of him as he got to his feet. "How can you just let those damn brats go?"

"They are just kids," Eva said as she crossed her arms.

"They are brats that need to be taught a lesson!" Katsuki argued.

"You act like you weren't the same way when we were kids," Eva countered.

"HUH?!" Katsuki growled as he glared at her; the palms of his hands started to spark. Without hesitation, Eva balled up her hands; placing them in his hands.

"You taunted people all the time whether kids our age or adults!" Eva explained. "Still do sometimes."

"YOU went around haunting people when we were younger!" Katsuki shouted.

"If I may," Izuku whimpered; raising his hand. "You two were both demons as kids in your own way."

Katsuki and Eva both slowly looked at Izuku angrily. "HUH?!" This made Izuku whimper more.

****

The next day, Eva was sitting on the balcony; watching her classmates go off to their calls for help. She wasn't allowed to help till noon ended; they wanted her to rest. She saw Katsuma peeking around the corner when Izuku left the building.

"Hey, uh, what's up?" Izuku asked as Katsuma tried to hide from him. "Something the matter?"

Katsuma stood up. "It's just...Um, well...." He turned to Izuku. "I wanted to say sorry about yesterday"

Izuku gasped. "That's so sweet!" He bent down a little. "And so thoughtful of you Katsuma. It's okay, I'm not mad at me." Katsuki had walked up next to her, putting a popsicle in her hand; he had one in his mouth he had a magazine in his hand.

"And the other two heroes that were there?" Katsuma asked. "Will you tell them I'm sorry, too?"

"Sure, I'll let them know," Izuku confirmed; he crouched down lower. "But I'm curious. Why did you pretend a villain had shown up?"

Katsuma turned away. "The thing is, my sister, she hates heroes." Katsuki and Eva glanced at each other. "She told me that, even if I said there was a villain, the heroes around here would be too chicken to do anything about it. So that's why I had to..." Eva put the popsicle in her mouth.

"You believed in us, huh?" asked Izuku, the little boy looking at him. "Even after what your sister said, you still believed we'd help you. And that's why you came to get us, isn't it?" Katsuma nodded. "Hey, cool pin! That's the Ninja Hero: Edge Shot, right?"

"Yep!" Katsuma chimed.

"Did you wanna be a hero someday, too?" Izuku asked.

"Not with my Quirk," Katsuma denied. "It's not good for hero stuff. Besides, Mahoro says it's too dangerous." There was some silence.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" Izuku asked. "If you could choose, what kind of hero would you want to be?"

"I'd wanna be a super strong one who could beat up villains," Katsuma answered.

"Oh, yeah?" Izuku asked. "You know, what I want more than anything is to keep people safe."

"But don't you have to beat up villains to do that?" Katsuma asked.

"Defeating an enemy is one way," Izuku answered. "But I'm more worried about helping people out. If that means beating up a bad guy, then so be it. We might be looking at it differently, but we both want the same thing. We both want to be the best hero we can be." Izuku got back to his feet. "Which means...that we'll have to give it our all." The two shook hands. "Oh, but we should try not to worry our families too much while we're at it."

"Right!" Katsuma agreed. As he ran off, an older woman walked by.

"Little Katsuma is such a sweet boy and he loves heroes, doesn't he?" the woman said. "I brought you this, dear."

"Thanks so much, Mrs. Suzumura," Izuku smiled taking the item.

"You'll be kind to him, won't you?" Ms. Suzumra asked. "It can't be easy. Poor dear lost his mother at such a young age, and his father's away from work so often. So he and his older sister, Mahoro, are on their own a lot. Of course, those of us in the neighborhood look after them best we can. But it must be so lonely, not having parents around at that age." There was a splat sound, Eva looked to see that Bakugo's popsicle had melted off; Eva held up hers, and he happily took it." Finally, Eva was allowed to put on her hero suit and join the others. She got downstairs when the phone started to ring.

"Yeah, what?" Bakugo asked; answering the phone. "If it's something lame, I'm hanging---"

"There are villains at the fishing harbor!" Mahoro's voice cried on the phone; Eva rushed over grabbing the phone from him.

"I know that voice," Katsuki said taking the phone from her. "You're the kid from yesterday. Well, nice try, but we're not fallin' for it this time, brat.

"I'm not lying!" Mahoro cried as Eva took the phone back. "I swear it's true, Bakugo!"

"Mahoro?" Eva asked as Izuku rushed over. "What's wrong, where are you?"

"The hell?" Katsuki asked as Eva shoved him back with her foot.

"The fishing harbor is under a---" The line went dead.

Izuku looked at Katsuki. "What did she tell you, Kacchan?" Katsuki relayed the information; Eva and Izuku took off; as they went Eva heard explosions in the distance.

"I'll catch up with you," Eva said as she started to go the opposite way.

"Where are you going?" Izuku asked.

"To help the others," Eva answered.

"The others?" Izuku asked.

"Just get to the kids!" Eva urged as she took off toward the shopping center, where Mineta, Aoyama, and Hagakure were located. When she showed up, Aoyama was reaching his limit with his navel laser and Mineta was throwing his balls like crazy; they were facing off a fabric guy.

"6 WING SLICE!" Eva shouted; with soared out slicing through numerous puppets, she went over to others.

"Violet Gust!" Hagakure cried.

"What's going on here?" Eva asked as she landed on the ground. "Who is this?"

"Another hero," Mummy laughed. "This day keeps getting better." Without another word, Eva shot toward the quirk user; slamming her foot into them. "AH!" He landed on his back; and sat up slowly. "My quirk doesn't work on living things, but if I try I can make you my first one."

"Like hell!" Eva shouted as she jumped back avoiding an attack from one of his puppets; with her wind quirk she kept slicing at the thread close to Mummy; keeping him focused on her with hand-to-hand combat. He was using his feet; to avoid losing the grip on his puppets. "Keep fighting, guys!" Eva shouted as she started hand-to-hand combat;

"Ow!" Aoyama groaned as he stopped firing. "My belly is at its limit."

"My scalp isn't doing so great either!" Mineta cried as blood poured from his head. Eva wasn't giving up; she kept firing at the puppets, kicking them. She was sure to get away as soon as possible; if she was one more than a second it'd tried to trap her.

"Mineta! Aoyama!" Hagakure cried; Eva looked back to see those three were being cornered; explosions hit the puppets.

"The three of you can't even handle of villain?" Katsuki asked; he looked back. "You guys are pathetic!"

"It's Bakugo!"  Hagakure and Mineta cried.

"Red Riot is on the scene!" Kirishima shouted as he bashed into one.

Kaminari was electrocuting them. "Hey! Heard you could use some help!"

"Chargebolt!" Eva chimed happily.

"Merci!" Aoyama cried.

"More reinforcements?" Mummy asked; they continued to fight.

"Watch it!" Bakugo shouted as he pulled Eva out of the way from a puppet; blasting it.

"You okay?" Yaoyorozu asked she ran in with Jiro and Ashido.

"Great timing, you guys!" Hagakure shouted.

"Let's go!" Yaoyorozu urged as they grabbed Mineta, Hagakure, and Aoyama. "We'll need to get people to safety and provide first-aid."

"RIGHT!" Hagakure shouted.

"AP SHOT: AUTO CANNON!" Katsuki shouted.

Kirishima kept slamming into them; his arm got caught. "Crap!" Bakugo let out some explosions; setting him free. "Thanks!"

"BAKUGO!" Kirishima and Eva shouted as their friend got caught in the fabric.

"Damn!" Kaminari grunted; he dodged an attack.

"WHAT THE HELL?" Bakugo muffled as he got trapped.

"Objects wrapped in my bandages move according to my will," Mummy explained. "I can't affect living things, but your body is covered by much that is inanimate. Your weapons, your armor, your clothes. They're mine to control."

"Uh-oh!" Kirishima, Kaminari, and Eva dodged Bakugo from hitting them.

"Watch as your friend becomes your enemy," Mummy laughed; he continued to toy with his puppets.

"Watch out!" Kirishima shouted as they dodged Bakugo.

"Eh!" Eva sounded as she got underneath; she held Bakugo back from being slammed into the ground again; she skidded back a bit.

"Violet Gust!" Kirishima shouted.

"But Katsuki," Eva said as she opened her winds; using gusts to blow apart puppets surrounding them.

"Dude's controlling him!" Kirishima said.

"What are we supposed to do about it ?" Kaminari asked.

"Crap!" Kaminari panicked as the the fabric wrapped around him, Kirishima, and Eva.

"Make your choice," Mummy advised. "You can give up and willingly become my puppet, or I can use your friend to defeat you."

The fabric holding Katsuki started to puff up. "STOP SCREWING AROUND!" There was a huge explosion; throwing the others back while setting himself free. Mummy backed up in fear to see an angrier Bakugo. "Mummy bastard. Don't underestimate me." He threw more puppets at Katsuki; they kept getting destroyed. Mummy took out a knife to defend himself, and Bakugo shoved him into a fence. "Gotta lotta sweat stored up, y'know. And you get a maximum blast." He pulled the trigger. "DIE!" All the objects trapped were freed and their opponent perished.

"Whoa, nice one, Bakugo!" Kirishima cheered.

"He kept collateral damage to a minimum, too!" Kaminari added.

"Thanks for coming to the rescue," Eva said as she fluttered up. "Much appreciated!" She then took off in the direction Izuku was going.

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" Jiro shouted; Eva glanced back to see Jiro and Yaoyorozu had come back, Eva kept going.

'I hope those kids are okay,' Eva thought to herself. 'Would have it been better if I had just gone with Deku in the first place?' She flew up high until she saw signs of a fight happening in the first; with a blast, Eva beamed; Izuku got shot with a beam of purple light. A strange man was approaching with his hand raised.

"MR. DEKU!" Mahoro cried; Eva dove in slamming his foot into the man; he flew back into a tree; she then fluttered back to the others.

"What are you two still doing here?" Eva demanded as she got in front of Izuku. "You need to run."

"He'll hurt you," Katsuma said.

Eva gave a thumbs up. "Don't you two worry about us." She looked back at them with a smile. "We are here to protect you after all...trust us." She looked back to see the man walking toward them again; ready to attack. Once again; she charged toward him; she shot wind at him this time.

"A wind quirk," Nine said as he held up an air wall. "And you're not human." Eva bounced back; as Nine used purple lasers from his fingers to shoot at her; she dodged them while sending air attacks herself. Eva activated all of six wings; she spun, in a diving position; then shot at Nine; she collided with the air wall; Nine took Eva by the head then slammed her into the ground.

"EVA!" Izuku shouted.

"No," Mahoro cried. "We need help. PLEASE!" She released a huge illusion of a funny-looking Izuku. "PLEASE! YOU HAVE TO PROTECT DEKU!"

Suddenly; there was a blast of explosions.

"An exploding quirk," Nine said as he held back Bakugo.

"GET YOUR DAMN FILTHY HAND OFF HER!" Bakugo growled. "FOUND YA. DAMN, VILLAIN!" He jumped back;

"Kacchan," Izuku smiled weakly.

"It's the mean one," Katsuma recalled.

"Bakugo?" Mahoro asked as she got her feet.

"All right, kids. Watch closely," Bakugo ordered. "Here's what it takes to become the number-one hero!" He shot toward Nine. "THIS IS REAL STRENGTH!" Eva went over to the others as Nine became more focused on Bakugo who was now right behind him. "GOT YA!" He started to dodge the lasers; then got blasted with the air wall.

"KATSUKI!" Eva shouted as he slammed into the ground.

"KACCHAN!" Izuku shouted.

"Dammit," Katsuki grunted.

"Be careful, he has multiple Quirks at his disposal," Izuku advised. "And he can steal them?"

"Well, that sure sounds familiar," Katsuki growled as he lifted his head; he got back on his feet. "I guess I've got even more reason to take 'im down." He blasted back to Nine; dodging the attacks. "I've already seen these moves." Bakugo kept sliding around the air walls with a smile on his face. "NO WAY, they're gonna stop me again!" A blue hydra dragon shot out from Nine's back; slamming Bakugo into the ground. It happened fast; Eva shot forward slamming her leg into the Hydra; she had hold of one of the logs that Katsuki managed to catch on fire with explosions and shoved it into the Hydra; it pulled back screaming in pain; Eva stood over Bakugo protectively; shoving the Hydra back as best as she could.

"Katsuki," Eva whispered. "Hydra's are weakened by fire."

"You just won't stop barking!" Nine growled. "Neither of you."

"SHUT YOUR FACE!" Katsuki growled in pain as Eva lifted a wing toward Nine. "AND EAT THIS!" He set off a huge explosion. "Do something, Deku!" Izuku was coming down; ready to deliver a kick. Before anything could happen; a large amount of lighting struck down the three heroes; they laid on the ground in pain.

"Now then," Nine said as he turned towards the children. He stopped at the sound of a thud; he looked back to see that Bakugo and Izuku were holding him back.

"I'll stop you," Izuku grunted.

"Yeah," Katsuki grunted. "This fight isn't done. So face us."

"No! No, please!" Katsuma cried.

"Bakugo!" Mahoro cried. "Violet Gust!" Nine let out a gasp of pain; Izuku and Katsuki looked to see that Eva had shoved a giant oversized thorn into the man's side, and blood poured out. Nine blasted the three with an air wall.

"Heroes can be such a nuisance," Nine commented; they slid back; and he then doubled in pain.

"NINE!" a girl cried getting to the man's rescue. "Deep breaths." Eva slowly started to get back up.

"I need the boy," Nine ordered; pointing to Katsuma.

The woman got to her feet. "Understood." The ends of her hair became blade-sharp. "It would be wise not to struggle." Suddenly, a bunch of crows surrounded the villains; Eva looked when she felt a hand touch her.

"Now, Tsu!" Urakaka ordered; Eva's body became weightless.

"Ribbit!" Tsu responded; she wrapped Bakugo, Izuku, and Eva in her tongue and then dashed away with the others. Night came; they were all stuck inside a warehouse; recovering and preparing for what was to come. In a room; Urakaka entered a room where Bakugo, Eva, and Izuku were being held with others that needed to be treated. Todoroki was creating ice packs and Shoji was applying first aid.

"I brought food," Urakaka announced. "How are Deku, Bakugo, and Eva doing?"

"They haven't regained consciousness," Todoroki answered as he looked over; then at Eva.

"Not yet," Shoji said. "The doctors from the clinic are doing everything they can to heal them."

Urakaka went over to them. "Thank you for all your hard work."

"I apologize," the man said. "Our powers have helped us close their wounds, but I'm afraid that's all we can manage." He looked at the injured kids. "We can't do anything for their broken bones."

"They need to be taken to the hospital on the main island," the woman said. Shoji and Todoroki walked over.

"Can I try something?" Katsuma asked; they all looked at him.

"Katsuma?" Urakaka asked.

"He might be able to help," Mahoro said. "His Quirk is cell activation. We're not really sure if it can be used to heal injuries, though."

Katsuma ran forward. "They were hurt because of us! I can't just let them suffer like this! Please!"

"I'd appreciate your help, Little Katsu," the doctor said.

"Thanks!" Katsuma said as he ran over; he placed his hands on Bakugo and Izuku, he started his best to heal him. A bit later, Eva woke up; she saw only that Katsuma and Mahoro were awake. She saw Katsuma sweating as he used his quirk on Izuku and Bakugo.

"Kastuma," Mahoro said. "You should rest a little bit."

"I can't," Katsuma denied. "I'm not done yet, I still have that pretty fairy to help."

"You're tired," Mahoro said as she reached forward.

"I can push through it," Katsuma declared.

" Can I help you?" Eva asked; both the kids looked over at her in surprise.

"Violet Gust!" Mahoro cried as Eva crawled over. "How are you awake?"

"Nothing, but a little fairy magic," Eva said as she gave her a wink; she then showed Katsuma her hands; the palms of her hands were glowing teal.

"You are still hurt," Katsuma said. "I can do this."

"Then I'll give you some energy," Eva said as she put a hand on Katsuma's face, Mahoro gasped when she saw Katsuma grow less tired. The two kids gasped when they saw both boys grunting as green glowed around their bodies.

"Where are you going?" Katsuma asked as Eva stood.

"I trust you two can stay here with them," Eva said. "What you are doing for them is very heroic." Katsuma gasped. "I'm putting my trust in you, little heroes." She put her hand on Mahoro's head and then walked out. She walked down the hallway following the voices of her classmates. She heard Yaoyorozu talk about a drone she sent out, but it would take six hours. Eva stopped putting her back to the wall to listen for a minute.

"Plus, even after someone comes across it, the heroes will need time to assemble and travel to us," Yaoyorozu said; Eva then stepped into the doorway.

"In the meantime, I doubt the villains are gonna sit around and wait," Ojiro said.

"Right now, our top priority is to protect the people of this island," Eva said; they all looked at her as Katsuma and Mahoro grabbed the back of her shirt. "If that means fighting villains, so be it."

"Eva!" Jiro lit up. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine," Eva assured.

"Have a honey," Shoji offered as he held up a little candy dispenser in the form of Kamui Woods.

"Ooo, thank you!" Eva gleamed as a piece was dropped into her hands.

"But how are we going to fight the villains?" Sato asked; Eva glanced around the room to see everyone was pretty banged up.

"The guy beat up Midoriya, Bakugo, and Yuki so much that they almost didn't survive," cried Mineta.

"Four of us took on the beast and that wasn't enough," Todoroki added; he saw how the two kids were clinging to Eva.

"And our numbers are dropping," Jiro added; she looked at Kaminari who had reached past his limit. "Yaomomo and Kaminari both used up a lot of their Quirks already."

"Yay," Kaminari sounded.

"We know there are at least there villains left, but there could be more," Tsu suspected with a finger on her face.

"If they attack us together, then we probably don't stand a chance," Kirshima added.

"So dividing them is the obvious choice," Eva said. "But the question to how."

"It would help if we knew what the villains were after," Ida said.

Urakaka nodded. "Mm-hm. Then we could come up with a plan."

Katsuma gasped a little then stepped in front of Eva; Mahoro grabbed him to prevent him from going further.

"No don't!" Mahoro protested as Katsuma went further into the room; she looked at Eva, and with a nod, Eva let go of Mahoro's hand and she went over to Katsuma.

"I know what the villains are after," Katuma revealed. "It's me." They all looked at him.

"What did you say?" Ida asked.

Katsuma grabbed Eva's hand. "That bad guy said he wanted to steal my Quirk."

"So, it's power theft," Tokoyami said.

Tsu looked at him. "He has the same Quirk as All For One?"

"Okay, at least we know why they're here," said Urakaka.

"We can just take the boy and run away--" Ashido suggested.

"It's not going to be that easy," Todoroki said; they looked at him as he stood up. "These guys are serious. What if they start making threats? They could end up killing somebody if we don't hand him over."

"They are just going to keep coming after him if we run," Eva added. "They won't stop until they get what they want."

"So, what're supposed to do?" asked Mineta.

"You have to hand me over to the villains!" Katsuma urged.

"Katsuma?" Eva asked as she crouched beside him; Mahoro got right next to Eva.

He looked at her. "He said he wouldn't kill me." He looked at the others. "And it's fine if I end up losing my Quirk. As long as it means everyone on the island is safe."

"No, we can't do that," Izuku said, they all looked to see him walking into the room.

Urakaka got to her feet. "Deku!"

"Midoriya!" Ida chimed. "You're okay?"

He nodded; then smiled at Katsuma. "And it's all thanks to Katsuma's power." He crouched down in from of him. "You can activate cells." He looked a the kid."It speeds up regeneration and enhances physical performance." He looked at Eva. "Did you help him at all?"

"Gave him some energy, but it was all Little Katsuma's doing," Eva answered. "He was determined to see it through with his own hands."

Izuku looked at Katsuma with a bigger smile. "Thanks to your Quirk, I recovered super quickly! It's an amazing ability, Katsuma! I'm grateful!"

"You really mean it?" Katsuma asked as he teared up.

"We're not gonna let anything scary happen to you," Izuku assured. "That's the whole reason we came to this island, right?"

"Why are you losers so on edge?" Bakugo asked; they all looked back to see him leaning against the door. "All we gotta do is kill some stupid, villains right?"

"Bakugo!" Kirishima gasped. Izuku and Bakugo faced each other.

Izuku then looked back at the two kids. "Don't worry. We'll definitely protect you two."

Bakugo punched his hand, letting off an explosion. "The villains are as good as dead." He then placed a hand on Eva's head.

"And we'll keep everyone else on the island safe, too!" Eva assured.

"Obviously, we'll win," Bakugo declared.

"I agree with the three of you," Shoto said as he stepped forward. "I'll help however I can."

"Me, too!" Urakaka exclaimed as she stepped forward. "I'll protect the people with everything I've got! We have to fight!"

"Heck yeah!" Kaminari agreed, getting to his feet. He seemed to have finally recovered. "I can't fix Mr. Matsuda's tractor if he's not around."

"You can count me in," Ida smiled. "Granny Sato still has plenty of years left ahead of her."

Kirishima got to his feet. "I've got your backs!"

"Me, too," said Tokoyami.

"Awesome!" Jiro smiled as she got to her feet.

"Let's stop them!" Hagakure declared.

"I'm in," said Sero.

"Yeah," Ojiro nodded.

"Um, obvi!" Ashido chimed with clenched fists.

"Ribbit!" Tsu agreed.

"Let's do this, you guys!" Mineta declared with his hands raised.

"I know we can!" Koda said.

"Moi aussi!" said Aoyama.

"We're heroes, right?" Sato recalled. The two kids looked at each other with smiles of hope.

"We'll overcome the impossible," said Shoji.

Yaoyorozu walked over to Ida. "It's just like we always say."

"We are going to go beyond!" Ida declared.

"Plus Ultra!" Everyone shouted.

Eva was now in a room with the kids; they were cuddled up to her fast asleep.

"Eva," Todoroki breathed; she looked over at him. "It's time." Eva got up; she pushed the two close to each other; wrapping tighter in the blanket.

"Shoto," Eva said as she walked over to him. "The villain you faced at the beach."

"Hm?" Shoto asked holding out his arm.

"How you described him sort of reminds me of a Chimera," Eva said grabbing onto it. "Even though this dude is some wolf-bird combo."

"What are you getting at?" Shoto asked as they made their way to the meeting.

"A Chimera's biggest weakness is ice," Eva informed. "I'm not sure if this will apply to this villain, but I don't think it's something to be ruled out."

"My ice didn't work on him before," Shoto reminded her. "How can we be so sure it will this time?"

"What's that special move you've been working on?" Eva asked; he nodded. They walked into the room to see all the students gathered around a table with a map of the island

"What's the plan, Midoriya?" Todoroki asked.

"We know there are at least three villains here," Midoriya began. "If we use the castle ruins on the edge of this cliff as our base, that leaves us only one route for the villains to reach us. When they approach, we'll split them up with a preemptive strike. Use the terrain to our advantage."

"Then we blast 'em to hell," Bakugo declared.

"The civilians can hole up in the cave on the side of the cliff," Eva said. "We'll personally guard Katsuma and Mahoro. We should also secure an escape route in case it comes to that."

"How're we going to deal with the villain who has multiple Quirks?" Todoroki asked.

"In the middle of our fight with him, it looked like he suddenly doubled over in pain," Izuku recalled. "Using all those powers one after the other was probably too hard on his body. I bet that's why he's trying to steal Katsuma's cell activation ability."

"I see," Todoroki gathered. "So we simply exhaust him."

"We'll attack him in waves and make him use his Quirks until he's at his limit," Izuku said. "Since he can steal powers, we'll want to avoid close combat if at all possible. Hopefully, that'll be enough. But even if we can't...we just have to last long enough for help to arrive!" They had now evacuated the whole island into the cave and stood at the top of the ruins to watch for the enemy.

"That's all this is about," Todoroki said.

"No way," Katsuki grunted. "We're gonna kick the crap outta these losers." The sun rose; beginning the new day and they all got into positions. Down below a cliff were Eva, Kirishima, Tsu, Ida, and Todoroki. They all looked at each other at the sound of explosions happening up above. They all watched as Chimera walked over to the waterfalls.

"Well, they got me on my own," Chimera said. From a tree, Eva activated her quirk; blowing out a strong wing current pushing him forward, Tsu's tongue wrapped around his ankle; pulling him into the water. She got out of the water in time; as Todoroki froze the spring.

"He's trapped!" Kirishima gleamed as they all ran over.

"Our plan worked," Ida as Eva put her hand on top of the frozen spring.

"Not quite," Eva denied.

Chimera broke the freeze, landing on top. "Did ya have to go and freeze me like that?"

"It's time for round two," Shoto said as they got into a fighting position.

Chimera put a cigar in his mouth. "Heh. You think this is a joke? Nah, kid. Today, I'm serious."

"Oh trust me, we are too!" Kirishima declared as he hardened up.

"Now that the islanders are safe, we can go all out," Ida said.

"Let's stop this guy," Eva declared.

"RECIPRO TURBO!" Ida shouted; activating his engines. "It's time to end this!"

"Yeah!" Everyone agreed as they got into fighting positions.

Chimera ripped feathers through his jacket. "Bring it on, then." They started to take on the man; giving it everything they got. "Weak!" He threw Ida to the side.

"RED GAUNTLET!" He slammed his fist into Chimera

"That tickles," Chimera said as he threw Kirshima into the wall. Shoto threw a ton of fire; Chimera easily blocked it. Eva had her top and bottom wings positioned where the ends all met while using the middle ones to keep her flight; she shot out a strong beam of wind; she heard the sound of splashing from blood leaking out. He jumped up to her; Eva quickly spun slamming her leg down on his head; he dug his claws into her leg before throwing her. Ida slammed another kick into him, and then Shoto buried him in ice again. Eva flew back over as Chimera got to his free.

"Tch," Chimera spat out blood. "I told you. You don't stand a chance against--" He suddenly froze. "Why can't I move?"

"There's a reason we were using the same attack moves over and over," Shoto answered.

"My legs, and Kirshima's hands," Ida began. "They were coated in a toxic mucus that Asui created." She revealed herself on the wall.

"Just call me Tsu," Tsu requested.

"We got you, old man," Kirishima said as he punched his fists together.

"Don't be so insolent," Chimera advised. He broke through the ice and began to bulk up. "I'll show you...why I've been called a monster my entire life!" He let out a roar as horns appeared on his head.

"He got bigger?" Ida asked.

"How annoying," Eva grumbled.

"That form. He reminds me of Amajiki," Kirishima said.

Chimera opened his mouth revealing a powerful flame, Shoto created a huge amount of ice as Chimera began his attack.

"No!" Todoroki gasped as it started to get through the ice.

"Let's go, Tsu!" Ida ordered as he grabbed Eva and Shoto.

"Ribbit!" Tsu responded as she followed with Kirishima wrapped in her tongue.

"AHH!" Kirshima yelped. They took cover as Chimera destroyed everything around them; creating a huge forest fire.

"This is what it looked at the forest," Eva said. "Meslipus." Shoto glanced at her.

"That's some crazy power," Kirishima said as they hid below a cliff closer to the water.

"Yeah, we can't even get close to him," Tsu said.

"I don't have much recipro left," Ida said.

"I don't have much flight left," Eva said.

"Here," Kirishima said as he taped her shoulder with hard honey.

"Thanks," Eva said as she took it; she quickly popped it into her mouth. "Hm."

Shoto turned to the others. "Make an opening for me. I need to be able to touch him."

"And then what?" Kirishima asked.

"I have an idea," Shoto answered.

"Right," Eva nodded.

"This might be our last chance," Ida said. "Eva..."

"Hm," Eva nodded; they both got back up to face Chimera.

"Ida, you distract him with your Recipro Turbo," Todoroki instructed. Ida began to blast around. "Eva...remember that wind ice storm we created at the sports festival, do it with the smoke." Eva flew around fast catching up with the smoke; she flew until a dome was created around the fight arena; she and Ida were dodging the fire breath.

"UNBREAKABLE!" Kirishima shouted as he hardened up getting closer to Chimera at Todoroki's ice. Kirishima was holding the fire behind blasted at him once he entered the arena.

"Kirishima," said Todoroki as soon as the attack was over.

"Do it," Kirshima ordered as he fell over. Todoroki rose on the ice; and jumped over forming lots of ice on his right arm. He put his hand on Chimera's head; cartwheeling in the air; then landed on his head. Chimera raised his hand; Tsu kept it away with her tongue. Eva wrapped little vines around his other arm, pulling it away, and sticking it in the ground with a thorn. His tail swung, Ida kicked it then wrestled it to the ground.

"DO IT!" Ida ordered.

As Chimera was getting ready to release more fire; Todoroki shoved his hand in his mouth; Chimera shook around rapidly; sending Ida, Tsu, and Eva all into each other.

"Freeze, damn you!" Todoroki growled as the others fell to the ground; Chimera's body began to freeze over, and then ice shot up from its mouth. Eva looked up as Shoto fell over; his body was covered in ice; getting close to frostbite. "That's right. Hibernate a while." She crawled over to him slowly; when she got to him his eyes were closing. "Did we do what we needed to do?"

"Yeah," Eva answered as she put a hand under his head. She looked at her hand as the creases glowed teal then put it on the center of his body. "We did well...all of us." The frost started to leave his body as he fully closed his eyes. She looked back to see storm clouds by the main fighting area; Izuku and Bakugo were there the rest of Class 1-a, besides Ashido and Mina who took on Slice. All around her seemed to be on fire; a lot of fire tornadoes. She looked back at the others; she removed her hand from under Shoto's head; her palm started to glow green. She placed her hand on the ground, and vines shot out of the earth; picking up Eva's friends; then placed them by the edge, a cliff just above the water. She picked up Shoto and carried him over to the others herself; gently putting him down next to Tsu. Both creases in her palms glowed green and teal; with one hand remaining on Shoto and the rest controlling the vines, Eva was healing the others to the best of her abilities.

The areas all around her started to rise; rocks; cars, and numerous water tornadoes. Eva looked back at the sound of a large attack; from the sounds of it Katsuki and Bakugo were attacking together; the attack rose high in the storm clouds above. There was a big explosion; following an eye to open up in the storm clouds. She stared in the direction of the fight; many explosions and shock waves, and soon the storm clouds parted letting light shine down on everything. The sounds of helicopters were in the distance, Eva felt a hand go on top of hers, and she looked down to see Todoroki looking up at her.

"You are going to use up all your energy," Todoroki said as he put a hand on her face.

"Shoto," Eva smiled as she put her hand on his face; she leaned down touching her forehead to his for a second.

"Why didn't you heal yourself?" Todoroki asked as Eva pulled back, he looked over to see Eva's magic stopped as he watched glowing magical vines retract from their friends.

"You guys are more important," Eva answered; she then started to feel a bit faint, Shoto sat up catching her before she could fall over.

"It's your turn to rest," Shoto said as he gently kissed the side of her head.

"SHOTO!" a voice shouted; they heard a thud. Shoto pulled his head away from Eva, they looked back to see Endeavor "Oh...."

"Oh," Eva said as she started crawling away.

"Here, let me," a man said as knelt by her; Eva looked over to see that the others were being treated as well.

"Thank you," Eva said as her head began to get wrapped; she heard loud crying. They all looked over to see a crying Endeavor engulfing Shoto in a flaming hug, who was looking away in annoyance and embarrassment.

Over at the UA Agency building; Class 1-A was getting more treatment, Bakugo and Izuku in particular.

Eva sitting in the room listening to Bakugo freak out; Izuku told the her crazy thing they did when fighting Nine.

"THAT HURTS!" Bakugo cried as he looked at his broken arms. "WHAT IN THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME!?" Recovery Girl kissed Bakugo, causing Mahoro to squeal and Eva to giggle. Bakugo was annoyed as he went under more treatment.

"You think this is funny, Eva?" Bakugo twitched.

"You are so flustered," Eva laughed more as she put a hand over her mouth, Katsuma was treating Izuku. Soon they were at the port with the two kids.

"Daddy!" Kastuma and Mahoro cried as they ran over to them.

"Mahoro! Katsuma!" Mr. Shimano cheered, Eva looked back to see Katsuki walking away.

"Katsuki," Eva breathed going after him.

"We completely killed those villains," Katsuki said looking at her. "Demolished every single one of those pathetic losers."

They stayed on the island a bit longer, there was a ton of damage that needed repair. The Heroes Public Safety Commission immediately suspended our practical program. They stayed the rest of the scheduled time. They all wanted to help the island get back to normal; soon it was finally time to go home. They were on the boat for home, all felt a bit off. Eva was up on the top deck with Bakugo.

"Shouldn't we, like say something before we leave?" Kaminari asked.

"I know, right?" Ashido agreed.

"But we wouldn't want to interrupt the recovery efforts," said Ida.

"Well, I guess this is cooler," said Kaminari looking back.

"Yeah," Kirishima agreed. "It's pretty hero-like."

"True," Yaoyorozu smiled.

"I can't believe it's time for us to go home already," Izuku said, Eva glanced back to see him walking up.

"Eh, good riddance," Bakugo said as he looked away from the village. The horn blared Eva held on to the bar a bit tighter as the boat started to move.

"So, you're really gonna leave without saying goodbye to those kids?" Bakugo asked.

"You know how hard byes can be for me," Eva answered. "Though it is strange for you." She looked at Izuku.

"There are things I wanted to say, yeah," Izuku admitted. "But it's okay. I'm sure they already know how I feel."

"Hey!" a voice cried; they looked to see Mahoro and Katsuma at the port; they were running alongside the boat. "Down here! Mister Deku! Ms. Eva!"

"Bakugo!" Mahoro called out. "Everyone!" Eva waved bye to the kids with the rest of her classmates.

"Thank you so much!" Mahoro and Katsuma cried.

"You saved us!" Mahoro shouted. "You saved the whole island!"

"I'll get stronger" declared Katsuma. "I promise you, I will! I'll get stronger to protect Daddy and Mahoro! Wait and see..." They smiled. "And then...I'll be a cool hero like you two and Bakugo. One who always wins in a battle no matter the odds."

"You better work hard ya damn brat," Katsuki smirked. "Don't you forget it!"

"Hey, Katsuma!" Izuku called out. "Listen! You can become a hero! I'll see you at UA one day!"

"We'll meet again!" Eva shouted. "Promise!"

Out in a field of flowers, Nine laid defeated as warping goop appeared in front of him, Shigaraki stepped out of in his regular clothes, with a red coat added.

"I knew you'd survive," said Shigaraki.

"I'll keep fighting," said Nine, he struggled to move forward.

"Don't worry, I'll take over your dream from here," assured Shigaraki walking toward him.

"There can be only one true ruler," said Nine lifting himself up.

"Only one," agreed Shigaraki putting his face on Nine's face, letting his decay spread through the whole body killing Nine. "Goodnight Nine."
