Chapter 52

Early February came around, and Aizawa was having the students of class A hold a Setsubun lesson outside. The students were in their tracks suits at the center of a hill surrounded by a modest forest. The class was going to be split into two teams.

Aizawa held up a box. "You'll draw lots to determine which team you're on. Make it quick, now." The class gathered around the teacher. "Bakugo, no need for you to pick. You're on Team Oni."

"Huh?" Katuki grunted, he was taken aback.

"You were born to play an oni, man!" said Kaminari with a snort.

"Say that again, sparky!" spat Katsuki.

"The same goes for you Yuki," Aizawa said. "You're on Team Momotaro."

"Hm?" Eva asked tilting her head.

"I'll explain why later," said Aizawa, Katsuki, and Eva hung back as everyone else drew lots.

Team Momotaro

Izuku

Eva

Urakaka

Tsu

Mineta

Kaminari

Jiro

Sero

Ashido

Ojiro

Hakagkure

Sato

Koda

Team Oni

Bakugo

Todoroki

Tokoyami

Ida

Shoji

Kirishima

Yaoyorozu

Aoyama

"Sir!" yelped Iida, one hand shot up. "There seems to be a discrepancy in the number of members per team!"

"Because Team Momotaro is at an overwhelming disadvantage, as I was about to explain," said Aizawa as he distributed three bean-size balls to each member of Momotaro and a single cudgel to each Oni. "If a Momotaro gets whacked by a cudgel, they're out. And an Oni is out if they get hit with three beans, which can be collected and used after being thrown. Team Oni's goal is to wipe out every member of Team Momotaro, while Team Momotaro can only win by rescuing the 'hostage' held by Team Oni."

"Hostage?" Eva repeated.

Aizawa turned away from his confused students. "Playing the part of the hostage is none other than Eri. She's sitting in the hut at the top of the hill as we speak. Both teams must treat her as if she were an actual hostage. Understand what that means?" Aizawa looked back at Bakugo and Eva. "Bakugo--you have a special assignment. Throughout the course of this exercise, you're going to become friends with Eri." His eyes shifted to Eva. "Yuki, you are on Team Momotaro so you don't make Bakugo's task easy."

"Huhhh?!"

Everyone became shocked by Aizawa's words.

"You may be on the villain team this time," explained Aizawa. "But someday you might find yourself needing to rescue young children. When the time comes, the mission's success may ride on your ability to win over a child."

"The hell? What's wrong with just grabbing the kid and calling it a day?" said Bakugo.

Aizawa went into an explanation. "Imagine it from the hostage's point of view. Say you sneak past the villain and try to drag the child away by force. You'd be no different than the villain in their eyes. Say they start crying, alerting the villain to your presence. Suddenly, you're thrown into combat while trying to protect the hostage. Any decedent hero prioritizes the victim's well-being. Understood."  He focused on Bakugo. "Anyway, Team Oni will start from the hut, and Team Momotaro will start from the edge of the forest. To your places, now. The face-off begins in ten minutes."

"You want any tips?" Eva asked Bakugo. Before he could respond; Ojiro wrapped his tail around Eva's waist and pulled her away; joining their own team.

"Don't make it easy for him, Fairy godmother," Ojiro said.

"Kacchan and Eri. Let's hope for the best," muttered Izuku.

Urakaka was just as worried. "Step one: not yelling at Eri...the way he does with everyone else. That'd be a good start."

"I doubt he'd scream in Eri's face," Eva said.

Tsu put a finger on her chin. "But what if she sees him raging at the rest of us? That could be enough to scare her?"

"Him? Make friends with a kid? No way!" said Kaminari.

"Aizawa, really cooked up a cruel assignment this time," added Mineta.

"I get being worried about Bakugo and his problems," said Jiro. "But remember--our job is to actually rescue Eri."

"Right," Izuku said. "So, what's our plan of attack?" After minutes of planning, the buzzer sounded and Team Momotaro scattered in the hope to reach the peak.

"Hagakure is out," said Aizawa over the speakers.

"Sero is out." By the time Team Momotaro got a rendevous point; half of their team had been taken out.

Urakaka

"Half our forces are lost," said Eva.

"And we're running low on precious beans," added Sato. "What now?"

"We're gonna be oni chow before we even come close to saving Eri," said Kaminari.

Tsu went into thought. "We need to beat them with limited beans, so we'd better get them in a situation where our throws can't possibly miss."

Izuku launched. "Rescuing Eri should be the top priority, but Rean Oni won't let us near without a fight...Clearly, we can't jsut dodge past them..."

"Coming up with a plan there, Midoriya," asked Mineta. Izuku looked at them and explained what he had in mind. They started to plan immediately; Aoyama screamed as Tsu caught him with her tongue; dashing down the hill. Eva was flying from up above with hold of Mineta, they saw Team Oni; besides Bakugo down below became more aware of their surroundings; staying close to each other.

"Somethings coming!" gasped Shoji; leaping from tree to tree was Izuku; soaring over Team Oni; holding the rest of Team Momotaro's beans. Tokoyami and Dark Shadow took to the skies as Yaoyorozu switched on a powerful vacuum. Eva streamed a powerful wind current directly into the vacuum; as Mineta threw one of his Pop offs down; into the device.

"What now?" gasped Yaoyorozu, the device began to puff up while being plugged by the sticky ball. Eva then dove toward Tokoyami and Dark Shadow.

"How about a Pop-Off sandwich?" asked Mineta. Tokoyami and Dark Shadows cudgels were stuck together by Mineta's purple orbs, Koda released a dozen or so crows toward the earth-bound Oni as Eva landed in a tree. Team Oni fell into a massive pitfall dug up by Sato; as soon as they landed they found themselves getting trapped by vines popping up from the earth. Mineta looked at Eva's glowing green creases and then back at Team Oni; she was controlling vegetation with ease.

"Acciedntally bump into my chest and I'll sell you to Katsuki," Eva threatened, Mineta gasoed in horror.

Kaminari now stood above them. "Sorry, guys, but we're low on beans, so you had to be fish in a barrel if this was gonna work." Ensuring electrification put Team Oni down for the count; allowing Team Momotaro to throw their beans at each of them.

"Iida, Aoyama, Todoroki, Kirishima, Tokoyami, Shoji, and Yaoyorozu are out," Aizawa announced.

"Great! All that's left is to save Eri," said Izuku as Eva freed her classmates.

A flustered Kirishima had one last thing to say. "I know we got no right to ask for a darn thing from the dudes that beat us, but please! Help Bakugo make friends with Eri! You gotta!" He clapped his hands together.

"Not going well, I take it?" asked Eva.

"Pretty much," Kirishima slowly nodded.

Iida spoke up. "First, we tried leaving them alone, and then we attempted to assist...but nothing seems to bring those two any closer. As your humble class president, I implore you to help Bakugo with his assignment!"

"Of course!" Eva chimed as Team Momotaro glanced at each other.

"I was actually worried about those two myself," admitted Izuku.

"We'll get it done, guys!" said Kaminari. "But, uhh, how do we get it done, exactly? Hard to picture Bakugo and Eri hanging out like good buddies?"

"That's the whole problem," said Tsu.

Yaoyorozu spoke after some thought. "What if we model our strategy on The Weeping Red Oni?"

"Red Oni?" Eva asked.

"Who's that?" Sato asked.

"Oh, I know this one!" said Mineta. "There's this red Oni who wants to be friends with humans, right? So his blue Oni pal decides to help out. The blue guy attacks the human neighbors so that Red Oni can save them and win brownie points. The plan works like a charm, but afterward, the blue Oni realizes he's gotta hit the road so people don't catch on their trick."

"Oof yeah, that sad bedtime story," said Kaminari. "It's like, don'tcha get ut, Blue? You were Red's best bud all along!"

"I'm sure we all came with various impressions of the tale," said Yayorozu. "But what's clear is that if an Oni and human are to become friends, some sort of villain is essential. Meaning..."

"We play the part of the blue Oni so Kacchan can be the red one?" said Izuku.

"Perhaps. Or instead, what about the tale of The Setsubun Oni?" suggested Yaoyorozu.

"How do you mean?" asked Aoyama.

"As the story goes, one year on Setsubun, an old man who lived all alone heard his neighbors chanting 'Oni, begone! Good fortune, come in!' However, he got the saying wrong and instead shouted 'Oni, come in! Good fortune, begone!' Hearing this, an oni stormed into the old man's house, but it somehow worked out for the best. They feasted together, and the old man found himself renewed vim and vigor for life. In any case, if we were to use that tale as an example, our plan might be executed entirely peacefully without the need for a designated villain."

"So, we're gonna make Eri have sympathy for the devil? I mean, for Bakugo?" asked Kaminari.

"I wonder if Bakugo will go along with our plan, though," said Tsu.

"Most likely not," Eva said. "He'd probably see it as a kill-a-bird-with-two-stones scenario."

"In that case, let's go with the Weeping Red Oni plan," said Izuku. With help from Tsu, delivering the note to Katsuki. As soon as Katsuki turned his back to face the Team Momotaro in concealing cloaks, Eva sat on the window.

"Hrahhhh! Hand over the kid!"

"We're villains! Can'tcha tell?"

"Evil, nasty villains!"

Bakugo was speechless for only a few seconds. "Over my dead body, asswipes!" Eva watched as Eri became fascinated by Bakugo as he took out Sato, Kaminari, and Mineta; he then spun to face the window. "Don't you dare think I haven't noticed you, Eva!"

"Eva!" Eri lit up looking at the window as Bakugo tapped Eva on the head with the cudgel.

Bakugo then faced the rest of Team Momotaro as Eri ran over to Eva grabbing her leg. "Too scared to come at me? Then lemme do the honors, you wastes of oxygen!" He charged toward. them making a stir of panic.

"H-Hang on a sec, Kacchan!"

"Nah, now it's your turn, Deku!"

"Huh?" asked Eri. Izuku's hood fell off as he dodged Katsuki's attacks.

"Psst! Kacchan!" said Izuku. "What about us helping you with the...y'know?"

"Thanks a whole lot for the assist! But this's looking like two birds, one stone to me!" He got Izuku cornered; his cudgel raised.

"Oni, be gone! Oni, come in!" shouted Eri, throwing bean-sized balls at Bakugo.

"No, no," Eva said as she gently put a hand on the girl's head. "Oni, be gone! Good fortune, come in!" Bakugo stared at the beans, then at Eri was still holding on to Eva's leg, but she had a defiant look on her face.

"Bakugo is out. Team Oni is eliminated. Team Momotaro wins," came Aizawa's voice.

Bakugo broke his silence. "What's the big idea?"

"As I mentioned you were to treat Eri like a real hostage. A hostage is typically eager to escape, and they may conceal weapons of their own. Which is why, from the very start, Eri was equipped with beans so she could fight back," explained Aizawa.

"Is that right?" Izuku asked; he among everyone else was shocked about the turn of events.

Eri gulped. "I was so nervous cuz I didn't know when I should throw my beans." She clutched her chest; and heaved a deep sigh.

"Thanks, Eri!" beamed Izuku. "You totally saved me there." Eri smiled back just wide.

"I got something to say," Katsuki said as he moved over to Eri and Eva, the little girl braced herself. "Not bad, you got me good."

"Huh?" said Eri, her eyes growing wide.

"Better to be a hostage with some fight in ya, I say," said Katsuki with a snort.

"Eri!" chimed Izuku. "You got a genuine compliment from Kacchan! That's as rare as they come!"

"R-really?" asked Eri.

"Uh-huh! You did a great job! We're all impressed!"

Eri glanced at Bakugo who clicked his tongue.

"Compliment? Nah, just saying what's on mind?" The girl stared at him; her expression softened a bit. She watched Bakugo; push Eva to the side a bit; sitting next to her.

"You don't seem scared," Eri said as she tugged on Eva's pants.

Eva tilted her head. "Should I be?" Eri looked between Eva and Bakugo observing them both.

Once Thirteen showed up and left with Eri, Aizawa gave them their evaluation.

"Though Team Momotaro did come away with the win, your strategy was rough around the edges and full of inefficiencies. When time is of the essence, it's critical to form a rational plan without delay. Understood?"

"Yes," everyone said.

Aizawa observed the glance before settling his gaze on Bakugo. "As for your special assignment, Bakugo, Eri does have a better impression of you now."

"Oh yeah?" said Bakugo; he was stunned.

"Apparently, she was grateful for the compliment at the very end and picked up on your bond with her fairy godmother. Though she was scared, she appreciated how enthusiastically you embraced your role as Oni."

"Pfft!" snorted Kaminari. "That enthusiastic performance? Except that wasn't even acting!"

"Cram it!" roared Bakugo.

"Let's say...you passed," said Aizawa. A sense of relief filled the class.

Kirishima threw his arm around Bakugo. "Hear that, dude? That was touch-and-go for a while, but you pulled it off!"

"It makes sense why Eva was placed on Team Momotaro with how quickly Eri picked on her bond with Bakugo," said Yaoyorozu.

"Why, as the class president, nothing I could hear could make me happier!" said Iida.

"Aw, I wish I coulda joined Operation: Weepy Red Oni!" said Urakaka.

Bakugo became more annoyed as his classmates surrounded him. " Leave me the hell alone!"

"They've grown close," said an exasperated Aizawa.

After classes were over; Eva was now with Eri; she was helping her with spelling.

"Did you have fun today?" Eva asked.

Eri nodded; she looked at her. "What do you think of the scary man?"

"Katsuki is my best friend," Eva said. "Whatever I say about him will be biased." Eri stared at her. "Katsuki can be very protective; combine that with his scariness and you'll never have to worry about any monsters in your closet or under your bed." Eri smiled at her; then turned back to her work.

Later that night; Eva and Bakugo were in charge of doing the dishes together.

"You saw Eri after class, right?" Katsuki asked as he washed the dishes.

"Yeah, I see her about every day," Eva confirmed; she dried the dishes. "If you're wondering, Eri does like you."

Katsuki let out a sigh of relief. "I was beginning to worry I'd never make a bond with your godchild." Eva looked at him. "The next time you go see her, can I tag along?"

"Of course," Eva smiled; he looked at her. "You'll be buddy-buddy with little Eri in no time." She closed one eye, giving a smile and a thumbs-up.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, looking back at the dishes. "Any idiot that breaks her heart should go find themselves a coffin to be buried in."

***Heartfelt Chocolate***

Valentine's Day came around, which meant it was also Galentines Day. A sweet aroma wafted through the kitchen of Class 1-A's dorm building, Valentine's operations were in full swing with chocolate making.

As Urakaka stirred her batch, a fleck flew onto her hand; which she licked. "Taaasty!"

"Oh you," chuckled Tsu.

At the other table, Ashido dripped chocolate from her spatula onto her hand before tasting it. "Yummm! I could drink this stuff straight."

"Lemme try too!" said Hagakure, she dabbed the chocolate from the bowl and then licked it. "Um, yeah, that's totally yummy!"

Nearby, Yaoyorozu marched over to them with three spoons. "That's poor etiquette, ladies. Any tasting must be done with designated taster spoons. Here you are, Jiro and Yuki." She scooped a tiny spoonful and handed one spoon to Jiro and the other to Eva.

"Oh, thanks," said Jiro; Eva nodded. Both girls looked at each other with a smile after tasting the chocolate.

"C'mon, girls!" said an exasperated Sato. "Like I told you, tempering chocolate is a delicate art that can totally affect the flavor. Making sure those temperatures are just right."

All seven girls straightened their backs. "Yes, Sato! Sorry, Sato!" As the sweets master, Sato was coaching the girls through the ins and outs of making chocolate. Despite the small scolding; Sato and the seven girls were having a grand time in the kitchen.

"Keep up that mixing!" said Hagakure. "I can't wait to taste the finished product."

"Don't forget--we're making this for the others as well," said Tsu.

"Yeah," Eva smiled.

"Uh-huh!" Urakaka added.

The chocolate-making scheme had all begun when Mineta and Kaminari pressured the girls with demands for Valentine's Day chocolate, the girls decided everyone could enjoy treats together, and the rest of the boys were jazzed about it.

"What a delightful holiday!" said Yaoyorozu; she and Eva had recently learned about Galetines from the others. "Friends giving each other chocolate? How lovely?"

"Totally!" agreed Hagakure. "I'm more hyped about sharing with you gals than giving any to the boys."

"Me as well," Eva said.

"Back in middle school, girls put so much effort into this stuff. I never really got why it was such a big deal," said Jiro.

"Maybe cuz so many girls were doing it? It makes you wanna do an extra-good job, in hope that whoever you're giving ut to realize how much time and hard work into it,"  said Hagakure.

"Yep," said Eva.

"I get it," nodded Sato. "When someone bites down on your little masterpiece, all that hard work finally comes to fruition. Still, I'm happy enough to hear them say 'Yum' and be done with it guess." A bittersweet look rose as he reflected on the reactions from the other boys.

Yaoyorozu raised a hand to her cheek. "I can emphasize...I put quite a bit of thought into the balance of my tea blends, so when the feedback is a simple 'Yum,' I feel a tinge of disappointment."

"I know what you mean! Kirishima, Todoroki, and Kaminari, right?' said Hagakure.

"In their own way, Izuku and Katsuki both have sharp reviews with anything edible," Eva said.

Jiro nodded. "Midoriya's food reviews are perfection, though a little on the long side."

"I'll take a length critique any day of the week!" said Sato.

"I feel the same," agreed Yaoyorozu.

"Midoriya's got that mind for analysis and attention to detail," elaborated Sato. "The other day, he figured out that I used maple syrup in my cake as a way of making the flavors deeper and richer."

"Indeed. Though Midoriya wasn't all too savvy about tea, to begin with, he seems to learn more about the art with each tasting. There's nothing like an eager learned to make the brewer seem worthwhile," said Yaoyorozu.

"Yeah, there's nobody I'd rather have sampling my goods," added Sato.

"And then there's Katsuki," Eva said. "I feel like I'm in the Three Bears Tale with Katsuki as Goldy Locks whenever he has something I made." Similar looks filled with Sato and Yayorozu.

"He doesn't always join the tea party, but when he does, he speaks his mind, yeah?" said Hagakure.

"That Bakugo's a sharp critic," said Sato. "There was the one cake I burned--just a tiny bit mind you! And he totally picked up on it. Said it was drier than the previous one."

"The apple juice being almost too tart to be considered juice and not cider," Eva recalled a critique.

Yaoyorozu recalled something. "One time when I let my tea steep a moment too long, he commented that it tasted more bitter than usual. Ordinarily, I'm overjoyed to hear that people can tell the difference at all, but when it comes to Bakugo, it almost feels as though I'm being graded..."

"Yeah, it's like he's scoring us or something!" said Sato.

"I suppose in that sense, I am grateful to hear a simple 'Yum' after all," said Sato.

"Yup. There's worse feedback for sure," said Sato.

"Sato, what about the tempering?" asked Tsu.

"Shoot, sorry! Yeah, keep going with that," said Sato as he resumed his skill.

"Actually," began Yaoyorozu. "Even Mineta managed to give me proper feedback recently." The other girls flinched at the name.

"You know he's got shady motives, Momoyao," said Jiro.

"Yeah, the pest just wants some chocolate outta you!" said Ashido.

"You don't mean...heartfelt chocolate?" asked Yaoyorozu.

"Duh!" said the other six girls. Mineta's recent transformation was quick to notice, for the past week, he'd been treating females with unusual kindness.

"You always seem to fall for that perv's tricks," Eva said.

"Aw, c'mon...Try to think about how he must feel," said Sato.

"He wishes to receive heart-felt chocolate, does he? Then he ought to clean up his act permanently," said Yaoyorozu.

"No more creepy jokes! Start with that!" added Hagakure; the other girls nodded. They chatted more about Mineta and other topics working on their chocolate projects. They whipped up old standbys like truffles, cookies, ice cream, and cakes. Eva made sure she was able to have some to give to Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto. Being in the work study with them made her feel like showing some appreciation toward them. The only time she really gets personal space from them is in the girls' bath at the agency or at the dorms.

"Great!" said Sato. "The decorating comes after we chill these guys, so let's handle that before dinner." They stowed cakes and treats in the fridge

"Phew. Break time," said Jiro. The girls stretched and began to leave.

"Not taking a breather, Sato?" Urakaka asked.

"Not just yet," he said. The girls all stepped out of the building; even the chilly winter air felt refreshing.

"Hey," said Hagakure, with a sleeve they saw her pointing at trees. "Those're cherry-blossom trees, yeah?"

"Yeah," Eva confirmed.

"I remember thinking how pretty they were, back when school started last spring," said Urakaka.

"Man, that brings me back," said Jiro, sounding surprised.

"It's been nearly a year, yes," said Yaoyorozu.

"In a way; it feels like it's been longer than a year," Eva said.

"Time and tide wait for no one," Yaoyorozu said putting a hand on Eva's shoulder.

"What have the tides got to do with it?" asked Ashido.

"Ah, the saying simply means that time passes with no consideration for our mortal whims and machinations. A reminder we ought to value the time we are given" explained Yaoyorozu.

"True enough!" said Ashido. "I'm always wishing time would slow down a little when I gotta study the night before a test, but nope!"

"I wish our tea talk times would slow down a bit," Eva said.

"Or right before a deadline for one of our reports for Mr. Aizawa!" said Hagakure; the other girls winced.

"So strange how each day of our lives feels so rich and full, but at the same time, the weeks and months seem to be fly by, ribbit," said Asui.

"Whoa," gasped Ashido. "When those cherry blossoms bloom again, we're gonna be second-years, huh?"

"Unless, they catch us by surprise with a last-minute advancement test or something," grinned Jiro.

"Mr. Aizawa would pull something like that," Eva nodded. "Call it rational."

"No way!" said Ashido as she hung on to Jiro's arm. "Say it ain't so!"

"Just joking, jeez!" sputtered Jiro.

"Oh, I know!" cheered Hagakure. "When they do bloom, let's do a hanami meetup! A picnic under the cherry blossom trees!"

Stars filled Urakaka's eyes. "Hanami...That means we get bento boxes, right? And we can eat Inari-zushi? Onigiri? Chimaki?"

"Rice on the brain much?" asked Tsu.

"You know I love it!" smiled Urakaka.

"Mm, let's have karaage too. And we'll buy tons of sweets!" said Hagakure.

"What are the perfect sweets for a hanami event?" asked Ashido. "Or hey--we could have Sato make us something!"

"Sakuramochi!" yelped Urakaka.

"There we go more riced-based stuff!" giggled Hagakure.

"Dumblings over flowers, as they say," said Yaoyorozu. "Or practically over aesthetics, which explains Urakaka's preference for rice!"

"Dang, good point! Can't forget the dumplings!" snorted Urakaka.

"There she goes!"

"I can make that mango cranberry nectar," Eva offered; all the girls lit up.

"Okay, now I'm ready for this hanami meetup to happen like, tomorrow," said Urakaka.

"As for today, we have Valentine's Day treats to enjoy," said Tsu.

"Let's hope they turn out tasty," said Urakaka.

"It had better," said Jiro. "Bee-tee-dubs-how exactly are we doing the Galetine's swap?"

"Why not draw lots?" suggested Yaoyorozu. "That seems fair and impartial."

"Oh! Well, a lottery is fine," said Ashido. "But how about, like, musical chairs? But instead of us running around chairs, we're passing sweets around in a circle, and when the music stops, whatever you're holding is yours to keep!"

"Sounds like a party game," said Tsu.

"Sounds like the opposite of hot potato," said Eva.

"Yeah, it adds a little excitement to the mix!" said Ashido.

"I've never participated in such a game, but yes, let's. It certainly sounds delightful," said Yaoyorozu.

"Cool beans!" said Ashido.

"Sooo, let's make it a light dinner?" said Hagakure patting her stomach. "I wanna stuff myself silly with chocolaty goodness after!"

"What, don'tcha have a second stomach just for desserts?" said Urakaka.

"Second stomach! Maybe a third and a fourth too?" said Ashido.

"Yeah, fair enough!" giggled Hagakure. As the girls laughed as a stranger approached them.

"Hello," Eva greeted before the girl could say anything. The rest turned to see a girl with glasses, blushing madly, fidgeting as she carried a small decorated paper bag.

"How can we help you?" asked Yaoyorozu.

"Well, ummm..." the girl stammered. "Could you....give this to class A's Prince Charming?" She thrust the bag at them, then ran in the other direction. The Class A girls stared at each other in question.

"Our class's Prince Charming?" asked Urakaka.

"Who could that be?" said Asui.

Ashido's eyes sparkled. "That's gotta be heartfelt chocolate!" She grabbed the bag to peek inside. "I knew it!" The others followed; then peeked inside the bag to see cutesy wrapping and the smell of chocolate. "H-heartfelt chocolate! For real!" There was a stunned silence.

"W-w-whatdowedonow?" yelped Hagakure.

"Give this to Prince Charming," Eva answered.

"Like we're supposed to know what that is!" said Urakaka.

"Take a chill pill, girls!" said Ashido with excitement. "The chick with the glasses was obviously waiting around here to bump into her Prince Charming! She was too chicken to ring the doorbell, but that wasn't gonna stop her. When she spotted us leaving the dorm, she realized we could solve her problem!" The picture got painted into the girl's minds.

"Whoa! She must be in love!" said Hagakure.

"I thought I was sensing something like that," remarked Yaoyorozu.

"She was super embarrassed about it...Hey, maybe she just bought this rather than making it," said Jiro.

"Even so, I'm sure selecting this gift was a pains-taking process for her, ribbit," said Tsu.

"Either way she trusted us with this, so we have a sacred duty to fill!" said Ashido with sparkles in her eyes.

"Uh, duh!" said Urakaka. "We gotta help the gal out with her mission of love!"

"But we still have an issue," said a troubled Yaoyorozu.

"Who is the prince charming of Class A?" Eva asked.

"Hang on, there's a card inside! Would it be naughty of us to take a peek?" suggested Hagakure.

"Hmm," said Ashido. "I say...we have no choice. The guy's name might be written in there."

"Don't mind if I do," said Hagakure, extracting the card; they all looked at the message.

To the Prince Charming Of Class A,

Thank You for Helping Me

The girls furrowed their eyebrows.

"But who?" asked Jiro.

"She wasn't a first-year," Eva said.

"We'd know her if she was in our grade," said Hagakure.

"A second-or-thrid year, then?" said Ashido. "An older lady, head over heels for a freshman dude? How wild is that!" The girls gasped at the thought, and soon enough flames rose inside all of them.

"Amazing! Okay, that settles it--we gotta deliver these chocolates to the right guy!" said a motivated Hagakure.

"That will involve identifying Prince Charming. Who could he possibly be?" said Yaoyorozu. Urakaka started to shake her head.

"Urakaka," Eva said as she and Ashido hooked arms.

"Care to share something with the rest of the class?" said Ashido.

Urkaka shook her head violently. "Nope! I mean, not whatever you're thinking!" Her face turned red. "I, uh, saw a bug! That's all!"

"Uh-huh, suuurreee...." said Ashido and Eva.

"Shake any harder and your head might fall off, Ochaco," said Tsu.

"The most obvious Prince Charming...would be Todoroki, right?" suggested Hagakure...Eva's felt her heart pick up a bit. Ever since Christmas, she and Shoto had kissed a lot, always in secret. They had a small makeout session last night and exchanged a simple kiss this morning. Though they still hadn't put a label on anything. They were still calling each other a close friend.

**Flashback to last night

In Shoto's dorm, Eva was straddling Shoto, he had bit her lip lightly in their kiss, tugging on it. Both of them had stripped down a bit, Shoto removed his shirt and undershirt, while Eva removed her shirt and tanktop. As they kissed, Shoto's hand slipped to her bra, he undid it, making Eva gasp and pull back.

"I'm sorry," apologized Shoto looking away.

"When did you learn to do that?" asked Eva pressing up against him, to keep her bra from shifting. There was a silence. "Shoto."

"On myself with one of your bras," answered Shoto. "I'm sorry." Eva glanced up, eyes darked to the blackout curtains over the window and the door. She slipped off her bra, throwing it on the pile of her clothes. Shoto looked up at her, turning red.

"It is eve of Valentines Day," smiled Eva, they returned to kissing, Shoto's hands going up to her chest. Shoto started to move slowly, laying Eva on her back so he hovered over her. His eyes darted around her face, taking peeks at her chest. Eva saw his pants were a bit tight, she looked up at ceiling with a smile. "Go on." That night, things went a bit further, she allowed Shoto to place his mouth on her chest and down to her belly button, her hands in his hair, but didn't go further than that.

***Flashback over

"Todoroki is a strong possibility," nodded Yaoyorozu.

"It shouldn't be based just on looks," Eva said.

"If we're basing it off looks, Aoyama kinda resembles a prince," said Jiro. They thought of Aoyama with his sparkly eyes and silky blonde hair.

"Yeah, I'd buy that!" said Hagakure. They considered the rest of their classmates for a few moments.

"Great," said Ashido. "Let's go after our best guesses--Todoroki and Aoyama."

"But we can't tell them, but this is about at first. Only once we figured out who Prince Charming is for sure," said Jiro.

"Exactly," Eva nodded.

"We can't blow this for Glasses Girl by revealing what she came to us about," said Urakaka.

"All right, so where can we find those two?" asked Tsu, tilting her head.

"I'm betting Aoyama's up in his room," said Hagakure. "I spotted him heading into the elevator with some cheese!" They made their way to Aoyama's room.

"Non! It is not me," sparkled Aoyama. "I have no memory of aiding a girl wearing glasses." he was munching on cheese. The girls left the dorm and headed for a path in the woods.

"What actually defines a Prince Charming?" asked Jiro. "Does that mean he'd look good with a frilly collar?"

"Or, fluttery, flowering clothes, and capes?"

"Like some kinda nobleman?"

"With a rose in his teeth?"

"Someone brave and polite?" said Eva.

Ashido gasped; stopping dead in her tracks. "Hold up...I think we've got this all wrong! Yuki's seems to have the most direction with a definition of a prince charming."

"What do you mean?" asked Urakaka.

Ashido looked deadly serious looking at them. "We shouldn't be searching for a class-A dude who looks like a prince. When Glasses Girl said Prince Charming, she meant that that's how she sees him! It's probably got nothing to do with looks! Cuz when you fall for a guy--whoever he is--he's gotta be a total Prince Charming in your eyes!" More gasps from the group. "You get what I'm saying right? Like in shojo manga, when the girl falls in love with her guy, those sparkly effects pop up all around him! It's just like that!" Eva thought about the subject; a couple of people had caught her eye from the Otherworld, but her mind kept racing to Todoroki and their past together. There was another nagging in her head, but she refused to see it as something. Now that she was considering romance with a human; her heart started to open up even more to the possibilities of others. Eva admits she still had a lot to learn when it came to romance; she refused to talk to any stupid Cupids about it.

"Indeed, we were wrong," said Yaoyrozou shaking her head. "The object of one's love is viewed through the lens of the heart."

"So, we've just gotta ask all of them now!" said Hagakure. As they continued their hunt; they crossed paths with Kaminari and Mineta; a silent message was spoken with eye communication among them.

"Hey! Where are you ladies off to?" said Kaminari.

"Hello," greeted Mineta formally. "It's chilly out. Better bundle up if you don't want to catch a cold."

Jiro stepped up to the plate. "Say, you two...Did either of you help out a girl recently? Or a while back, even? At some point? Maybe a girl wearing glasses?"

"A chick with glasses? Nah, I don't think so," said a puzzled Kaminari.

"Me neither," said Mineta. "But why're you asking?"

"Oh, no reason, really," said Jiro. "It's just that this girl said a boy from our class helped her or something, so we're trying to find him."

"In that case, I'd be happy to help you search," said Mineta. They politely turned down the offer.

"Thanks, but we'll manage," said Jiro.

"Hang on now!" said Kaminari; he was sparked with excitement. "So...got any chocolate for us?"

"Oh, sure. Chocolate cakes, pudding, truffles, you name it..."

"Naw, not like that. I'm talking about Valentine's chocolates!" said Kaminari.

"Huh?"

"C'mon, it's Valentine's Day! I'm hoping for a mini mountain of chocolates from girls! So much that I'd need a bucket to hall it all!" Before anyone could say anything, a bunch of people were shouting, and girls ran up to them. "For me? You shouldn't have?"

"Or maybe...for me?" said Mineta. The girls thrust their gifts to Jiro.

"Whuh? These're for me?"

"The way you sang up on stage...You rock, Jiro!"

"We were instant fans!"

"So yeah! This is for you!"

"W-wow, thanks, I guess," said Jiro; the delighted girls ran off.

"All that? For you?" snapped Kaminari in frustration.

"Your singing was indeed lovely," said Yaoyorozu.

"As well as an enchanting stage presence," Eva added; the other girls nodded.

Jiro blushed. "Knock it off..."

"Let me help with those, Jiro," said Tsu taking a chunk of the pile.

"Chock...Chock....Ch-Chawk-lettt..." They all looked at the grape head classmate.

"Uh, Mineta?"

"Gimme that damn chocolate!" Mineta screamed, choking back tears, as he lunged at Jiro.

"Whoa!" Jiro shouted as Tsu restrained Mineta with her tongue.

"What do you think you're doing, Mineta?" Tsu asked.

"Oh, stuff it! Why don't I get any, huh? I've been a perfect gentleman for a whole week!" Mineta was becoming scary. "Gimme choccy!" He began tearing off his Pop Off balls from his head; throwing them at the girls. Tsu quickly withdrew her tongue as Ashido threw out her acid attack; stopping the balls in their tracks.

"Chill out, Mineta!" said Kaminari.

Mineta was going chocolate zombie crazy. "Chawwk-let!" The bloodcurdling scream made the girls' hair stand on end.

"I'll hold him back, ladies! Get outta here! Save yourselves!" shouted Kaminari as he put his life on the line.

"No, Kaminari!" said Jiro. Kamianri flashed her a thumbs-up allowing Mineta to slip away.

"Hwah?" said Kaminari.

"Dumbass!" said Jiro.

"Hagakure!" Eva exclaimed shoving her out of the way of a Pop Off ball.

"Yuki!" Hagakure cried as the ball landed on Eva's left hip. With her creation Quirk, Yaoyorozu tossed a capture net at Mineta, but it didn't stop him.

"Choc-cho-Choco!"

"Eek!" screamed Urakaka, the girls turned and booked it. "Mineta's a little monster!"

"Hardly human, I must agree!" added Yaoyorozu.

"I am sorry, Yuki!" Hagakure cried. "It's my fault!"

"Don't worry about it!" Eva urged. "It's what friends do for each other." The girls ran till they reached the main building, they looked back to see neither Kaminari nor Mineta was in sight, and they all sighed in relief.

"Something the matter?" asked Kaibara, with him were Tsuburaba and Kuroiro. The girls exchanged glances before smiling at the three.

"No, we're quite alright," said Yaoyorozu as Eva positioned her wings to block the view of the purple ball without getting them stuck to it.

"Oh, by the way," said Tsu. "Have you seen any of the class A boys around? We're looking for them." She addressed Tsuburaba.

"Uh, the boys?" asked Tsuburarba. "Yeah, we saw Todoroki heading into the school a few minutes ago."

"Thanks, ribbit," said Tsu; the girls headed into the building. Along the way, they bumped into Kirishima, and Sero doing training. Then Koda was out for a walk with his bunny Yuwai. Neither could recall an incident revolving around Glasses Girl. Shortly after, they spotted Tokoyami, Shoji, and Ojiro all in the process. The seven girls hopped off the path and hid behind some trees.

"Wow, are you seeing this?" asked Urakaka.

"All three of them getting actual chocolate!" gushed Eva.

"Well, aren't they popular!" said Jiro.

"Ojiro's stash is huge!" added Hagakure. The girls fell silent to listen to the gift givers.

"Thanks for the other day, y'know."

"This is nothing special, but I hope you like it."

"Oh, and don't worry about returning the favor."

"Any reason you're hiding over there?" said Shoji toward the trees once the gift-givers left. The girls awkwardly emerged and walked over.

"We just, uh, caught you in the middle of that chocolate action, so it seemed like the sensible thing to do!" said Urakaka, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.

"That would be just-friends chocolate, I presume?" said Yaoyorozu with a great deal of curiosity.

"Yeah," said Ojiro; a little bit embarrassed. "One came from a girl who I helped when she dropped something the other day. And this other one was because I lent her an umbrella!"

"Such a nice guy!" Eva chimed.

"So typical of you!" said Hagakure.

"He makes a habit of being kind. It's that plain and simple," said Shoji.

"Indeed," said Tokoyami. "An ordinary man of character."

Ojiro blushed. "Any way you could say those nice things without using words typical, plain, or ordinary?"

Dark Shadow emerged from Tokoyami. "Because you're the King of Normal, Ojiro!"

"What on earth does that mean?"

"The normalest among the regulars! The ultimate ordinary guy!"

"Okay, that doesn't even sound like a compliment anymore..." said Ojiro in a gloomier state.

"Hm," sounded Hagakure. "I know! Forget all that---let's call you the Just-Friends Chocolate King! JFC King for short! How's that?"

"Let's hear it for the JFC!" Ashido and Urakaka cheered.

"I wanna be the JFC King Too!" shouted Dark Shadow as he was receiving pets from Eva.

Ojiro wasn't satisfied. "Still doesn't sound like a compliment." Before the conversation could continue, a demonic roar shook their cores.

" CHAWWWK-LET!" The girls flinched and began to tremble. "A chocolaty smell? Where? There!" Mineta had reappeared, and Kaminari was nowhere in sight.

"Mineta? What's gotten into you? Whoa!"

Mineta lunged at Ojiro but quickly lost interest when Ojiro's gifts were friend's chocolates. He began sniffing the air, picking up on a scent.

"What's wrong with him?" asked Ojiro stunned by the turn of events.

"Deep, deep, chocolate smell...." muttered Mineta. He swaggered down a hot trail, the girls and other three boys all followed and the other. "Choco...Chokums..." They ended up behind the school building.

"Katsuki," Eva breathed in surprise. He stood facing, another female student. She for some reason, felt a bit jealous.

"Um...There's something you need to know," said the girl, clasping a gift bag. The group stayed hidden as they watched the scene; excited glances among each other.

"Is this for real?" whispered Jiro in disbelief.

"Oh, this is hype! Here it comes!" said Ashido, practically snorting.

"A fearsome contender..." murmured Tokoyami.

Mineta began to tremble. "Heartfelt...chocolate...? How...dare he?" Before he could move, Shoji grabbed Mineta and pinned him to the ground, allowing Yaoyorozu to bind the chocolate zombie with special bands.

"Mmrghmp!"

"Apologies, Mineta," said Yaoyorozu.

"Don't apologize," Eva said as she kept her focus on her best friend. As Mineta got immobilized behind a tree, two others approached the group.

"What are you all doing over here?"

"Have you spotted a rare insect, perhaps?"

"Deku! Iida!" Urakaka said; she slapped a hand over her mouth; she got shushed by the others. The two boys joined the group. "Some girls about to confess to Bakugo!"

"Confess to what? A crime?" Iida asked as Izuku lifted Eva's wings; he saw the purple ball attached to her hip.

"To love! What else would it be? It's Valentine's Day!" said Ashido. They watched as the girl found her courage.

"Um! It's wide open!" she shouted.

"Huhhh?" said Bakugo.

"Your fly! Down there! Wide open!" she said, pointing at the crotch of Bakugo's pants. She wasn't wrong. "Anyway, just had to let you know! I gotta run and meet my boyfriend, so see ya!" The group struggled to hold back laughter as they watched Bakugo glance down and slowly zip up his fly.

"Not what we were expecting," said Ojiro.

"Hm," Eva nodded.

"Oddly enough, Kacchan's only gotten chocolate on Valentine's Day from Eva, at least as far as I'm aware," said Izuku.

"Really?" said Ashido.

"Even when we were kids, he never went out of his way to be nice, especially to girls, besides Eva," Izuku explained. "Aunties in the neighborhood would get mad and tell him to play nice, but that just made him annoyed at women in general."

"Dammit, Deku! Always blab, blab, blabbing about crap that ain't your business!" shouted Bakugo, who'd walked over to the group. "In fact, crap's the only thing that comes outta your mouth, so let's just blast it off your face!" He aimed an explosion at Izuku.

"Yikes! Cut that out, Kacchan!" said Izuku, dodging the blast.

"No!" Eva cried as Katsuki's side connected to the purple ball; they were facing opposite directions."Not again!"

"Bakugo! You mustn't unleash your explosions outside of designated training sessions!" Iida said as Eva felt herself being tossed around, a small cat-and-mouse game began.

"What he said, Bakugo!" said Urakaka.

"You got a problem? Then blame him for starting it!" said Katsuki; he glanced down at the purple ball that kept him and Eva stuck together.

"Look, I'm really sorry! Really!" said Izuku.

"As if you even get what you did wrong!" Their battle intensified a little.

"Hey," Eva said, addressing the girls. "We forgot about the Prince Charming of class A!"

"Crud!" gasped Ashido. They asked Ojiro, Shoji, and Tokoyami about helping Glass Girl, all said no.

"Midoriya? Bakugo? Got a minute?" Tsu, the cease-fire ended; neither recalled a thing.

Katsuki furrowed his brow. "Hang on. Why're you after this girl, anyhow?"

"Whaddaya mean, why?' said Ashido.

"If she wants to thank you that bad, she oughta step up and say it to the guy's face," said Katsuki.

"He has a point," said Ojiro.

"The girl may have developed a crush on the guy," Eva said. "That tends to complicate things more than it should." Katsuki looked at her, his cheeks turned a bit pink.

"Weak," Katsuki grunted looking away. "Lemme guess---she tossed some chocolate at you and asked you to deliver it."

"H-how'd you know?" blurted Urakaka. All the other girls sighed in disappointment. "Whoops, sorrrrry..." She clapped her hands together.

"You're hardly to blame, considering that Bakugo has already guessed the truth," said Yaoyorozu. She then explained the story.

The boys got strangely excited. "Our class had a Prince Charming?" Katsuki glanced at Eva; she had always been a big fan of old stories, things that included princes, princesses, forbidden forests, and things like that. She tends to get irritated that a lot of them are sugar-coated heavily, none the less she loves them. So it was no surprise to him or Izuku; that Eva wanted to figure out who Class A Prince Charming was.

"A secret prince...Keeping to the shadows...A prince of darkness..."

"No...I was merely brainstorming."

"You sure you didn't forget meeting this girl, Ojiro?"

"Nah. Pretty sure, anyway...."

"Dark Shadow?"

"Nope!"

"In any case, this bespectacled upper-level student clearly feels grateful toward her Prince Charming! Is it not our duty as heroes to come to her aid?" Iida asked.

"Not my problem," said Bakugo; before he could storm off. Eva planted her feet, so they didn't go any further.

"What's everyone up to?" said Todoroki walking over with a large chocolate box.

"I've been wondering where you were," said Eva as she lit up. Shoto's heart sped up a little hearing those words.

"Whatchu got there, TodorokI?"

"For some reason, people sent me all this chocolate."

"What! That's full of chocolate?"

"Yeah. Too much for me to eat, anyway," said Todoroki. He placed the box down opening the box; they looked to see boxes and bags of Valentine's chocolate.

"Awesome!" gasped Urakaka.

"I have no idea why so many strangers would send me these things all at once," said Todoroki looking puzzled.

"It's probably people who saw your interview on TV, right?" suggested Izuku. "The one you did after beating those villains with Kacchan on the day you got provisional licenses."

"Yeah!" said Urakaka. "Folks were talking about that for days."

"Indeed! Although every instance of Bakugo speaking was cut from the final interview!" said Iida.

"Cram it, Four-Eyes! Nobody asked for a freakin' recap!" shouted Bakugo.

"Oh, that reminds me," said Todoroki reaching into his pocket. He pulled out two wrapped chocolates. "Midoriya, Iida--here."

"Oh, thank you," said Izuku.

"But why?" asked Iida.

"Yaoyorozu told me that friends give each other chocolate on Valentine's Day. Is that wrong?" asked Todoroki.

"Not at all," Eva denied.

"Aw, TodorokI!" said Izuku, Iida, and Yaoyorozu unision. Everyone smiled while Katsuki looked ready to lose his lunch.

"Friendship like that...Just too precious!" said Hagakure, everyone but Katsuki nodded in agreement.

"Ah, I'd better go buy some of those from the school store!" said Izuku,

"I will accompany you! I must procure Brolentine's Day chocolate as well!" said Iida; they watched as the two dashed off to the store. Their classmates also acknowledged how much Todoroki has changed since the start of the school year.

"Shoto?" Eva called; he lit up as he looked over at her, and all the classmates were quick to notice, including Katsuki who became even more irritated. "Do you recall meeting a certain upperclassman? A girl with glasses?" The girls grew excited as Todoroki pondered.

"No. Wasn't me," he said, the girls wore disappointment on their faces.

"Disappointed?" Katsuki asked Eva.

"Our first guess was Aoyama, but we struck out," answered Eva crossing her arms. "So, we're trying to find all the Class 1-A boys to see who it is."

"Great," Ashido said; trying to keep their hopes up. "So the only boy left is Sato?"

"Does that make Sato our Prince Charming?" said Urakaka.

"We shall simply have to ask him!" said an eager Yaoyorozu. Before the group could move, an all-too-familiar demonic cry pierced the air.

"CHAWK-LET!" Mineta managed to escape his bindings.

The cry made Eva; spin around latching her legs and arms around Katsuki and peeking over his shoulder.

"Todoroki, I got nothing against you personally," said Mineta. "But any guy who gets that much heartfelt chocolate...and crosses my path....won't live to see tomorrow."

"Um, are you having a problem, Mineta?" asked Todoroki. Mineta started to Pop off at everybody, in every direction. Bakugo blasted him and Eva into the air to dodge the balls.

"Eva," Katsuki mumbled. "Is that the girl?"

Eva glanced around quickly finding the person. "Yeah." She was fluttering her wings, keeping the two in the air. Todoroki formed a small ice wall to block the sticky balls.

"Chill out already! Dessert comes later! Get through dinner, and you'll have all the chocolate treats you want!" said Urakaka.

"All I want...is heartfelt chocolate!"  groaned Mineta with bitter tears rolling down his bloodshot eyes. The girls began hesitantly for the first time since Mineta embraced his zombiness.

"Hey! I think I found your four-eyed girl," yelled Bakugo.

"Oh? Ahh!"

Eva landed them back on the ground as the girl revealed herself to the class.

"I-I'm sorry!" she said. "I spotted the Prince of Charming of class A and couldn't help but gawk..."

"What? The prince?"

"He's here? Among us right now?"

The bashful girl nodded; all the girls surveyed the boys accounted for.

"Give it to him yourself, then! You got this babe!" said Ashido, handing the gift to the girl. The others nodded to show their support. The nervous girl stumbled forward; pointing to one boy

"Who...? Me?" asked Mineta.

"Um, a week ago at the shoe cubbies...You really don't remember?" said the girl. "Anyway, I tripped and dropped my glasses, and there you were. You reached out and said, need a hand there, m'lady?"

Mineta stumbled in surprise. "Ah! That was you!"

"No one's ever used such a cheesy line on me before in my whole life...I couldn't stop thinking about it afterward. So please--accept this gift, from the bottom of my heart," said the girl; face now a deep red as she extended her arms.

"AAH!" Most of the girls shrieked as Eva stayed latched onto Katsuki, observing.

"Um, hello?" said the girl; they looked to see that Mineta had fallen unconscious.

"Wake the hell up, Mineta!" said Ashido; shaking him by the shoulders. "It's real live heartfelt chocolate! The thing you always wanted!"

With a gasp, Mineta came to his senses; eyes snapped open; and darted to the girl and the chocolate. "Th-that chocolate? For me?" The bashful girl nodded. "Y'mean, you l-l-l-love me?"

"M-maybe a little too soon for that...so let's start as friends first..."

Mineta gulped as he pondered for a bit. "Sooo, shall we head back to my room? Or we could pick a shady corner of the woods and get started right away!" Glasses Girl didn't understand. Mineta's bloodshot eyes bulged, and his breath grew ragged as his slack jaw opened to provide further explanation. Katsuki's hands pressed down hard on Eva's ears, blocking her from hearing anything Mineta said. It was easy to piece together what was being said due to the girl recoiling in horror. The girl grabbed the gift; and then smacked Mineta harshly before running off. The girls of class A blocked Mineta from chasing after her, and Katsuki removed his hands.

"Mineta. When a gals says she might be into you, that's not your cue to say that gross stuff," said Urakaka.

"Guess what, Mineta? News flash: you suuuuck," added Ashido.

"Dumped within seconds," Tsu said, shaking her head.

"Hated as well," Eva added.

"Huh? But she basically said she loved me," said Mineta.

"Dumped and hated forever," said Jiro.

"And when you make a girl mad like that, there's no coming back from it," said Hagakure.

"I'm afraid you've ruined your one-and-only golden opportunity," said Yaoyorozu.

Mineta was dumbfounded. "No...No way...Say it ain't so..."

"Hey, buddy...Buck up, okay?"

"S-Sato?"

Sato walked over carrying a box done in cutesy wrapping. "Here you go." Everyone gathered around as Mineta opened the box. Inside a giant heart-shaped chocolate decorated with a caricature of Mineta's face. In frosting 'Love You.'

"I realized you probably weren't getting any heartfelt chocolate today, so why not from me? And hey, it's your favorite flavor--grape."

"Ther ya go--heartfelt chocolate!"

"Isn't that great?"

Mineta's eyes filled with tears. "What's the point...if it ain't from a chick?"

With a final cluck from Bakugo, he marched back toward the dorm. Eva looked back as the other girls surrounded Mineta. A few hours later; Eva was no longer stuck to Bakugo and the chocolates had finished being chilled and decorated. Eva delivered chocolate to people she wanted to as well, including Eri.

"Katsuki," Eva said knocking on the door.

"What--" Katsuki demanded as he opened the door; he saw Eva standing there with a box of chocolate in her hands.

"Happy Valentine's Day," Eva said as she held out the box. "Sorry, it took so long."

****Flashback****

Katsuki was walking home from school on Valentine's Day; he was eleven at the time, and nobody had given him any chocolates.

"Katsuki!" Eva's voice sounded from behind; he turned to see her rushing toward him; she landed right before him, bent over slightly with her head down, shoving a small box of chocolate toward him. "I think I'm understanding Valentine's Day more, please take this." Katsuki started to blush a little; he shook his head and then put a hand on her head. She looked up at him; both exchanged smiles.

***Flashback Over***

Present-day Bakugo put a hand on Eva's head; a smile was exchanged between the two. Katsuki ave her a hug, kissing her cheek. Eva smiled, she stayed for a bit, before dropping chocolate off to Izuku; it was late when Eva got to Shoto's room. She stared at the door in hesitation; just as she raised a hand to knock, the door opened.

"Eva," greeted Shoto in surprise; without words, he had items for the bathhouse. He saw Eva holding up the box of chocolate looking away. Without using any words, Shoto pulled Eva into the room and closed the door. He leaned down to kiss her, she happily kissed him. "I'll be back soon."

"Oh," breathed Eva as Shoto opened the door.

"You stay here," instructed Shoto looking back at her. While Shoto went down to wash up, Eva laid on his futon reading one of his mangas. About 20 minutes later, Shoto returned, Eva didn't even look at him when the door opened. He smiled seeing her intrigued by the story she was reading. After putting his belongings up and away, he went and sat on her waist, Eva moved the book to see him. She sat up putting the book down, the two spent the next few hours chatting with some kissing like fromthe day before.
