Chapter 35
The next morning, Eva was getting ready to go into Otherworld with Mr. Aizawa, she was her Otherworld clothes. This time she had worn a lilac dress, with straps on her shoulders, and the dress went down to her knees.
"Remind me what the rules are again," Mr. Aizawa said as he scratched the side of his face.
"Do not call them fairies, called the Fair Folk or Good people," Eva instructed. "If you are unsure just ask. Don't try to force them to give you its name. Names are very important and hold power, avoid giving your name, so use your hero name, just don't trick them. Don't say thanks, say I really appreciate it, something along those lines. Don't wonder, don't eat the food unless I give it to you. Also, don't treat them as lesser, it's better to be treated as equals. The Fair Folk aren't very trusty right away, especially towards humans."
"Let's get started," Aizawa instructed. Eva nodded, she put her hand on the tree in front of her, and an outline appeared along with a door handle, on the door was a turner, Eva turned it to the section of the Otherworld they would be heading. Once they entered the world, the door shut right behind them. As Aizawa took in everything, Eva took off her ring. Everything was much bigger in the fairy realm, off in the distance was a large rainbow, it was right before a mountain, and the top of it was hidden by dark clouds. He noticed the flowers next to him were much larger. Eva waved her hands letting giant leaves spread to let him see a whole fae village,it was busy. Aizawa took note of this ability of Eva's, one she does not show. He though back to his USJ, he was able to put together that she healed some of his injuries, it surprised Recovery Girl when she checked on him. Eva then led him to a giant tree with a round door and artifacts from the human world.
"Eva!" a voice chimed as the door swing up revealing a man. He had purple eyes, long purple hair tied back, very pointy ears, and pale wings. Uncle Takahiro, one of her dad's brothers. Eva's dad had 5 brothers and 7 sisters. After everything, only 3 brothers and 2 sisters remain. From 12 to 5.
While her mom had 7 brothers and 5 sisters. Altogether it was a big family without including the older generations. After everything, 4 brothers and 2 sisters remain. From 12 to 6.
"Uncle," Eva greeted pulling out a snowglobe from her bag. "I brought this for you."
"Wonderful," Her uncle smiled taking it; he glanced at the man. "And this is?"
"You can call me Eraser Head," Aizawa said. "I am Yuki's teacher at school."
"You are here to ask about the Chie Hassaikai, correct?" Uncle Takahiro asked. "Come inside."
"Is Grandpa Yuno coming?" asked Eva as they were led inside.
"I'm right here," said a man walking into view, he had a long dark purple hair tied back in a pony tail and sharp brown eyes, a muscular build to him, he wore a dark red vest, and dark red pants that went to his ankles and black sash around his wa. He wore bangles on both wrists,a necklace, some rings, earrings, and had a wooden headpiece with little gems. "My wife will not be joining.
Eva saw two of her cousins, one was trying to strangle the other with vines, and the other was throwing little balls of fire, they were about 10 and 12. The vine was from a little boy with purple hair, purple eyes, and pale wings. The other was a girl with black eyes, pale bluish-purplish hair, and green wings.
"Dottie, Connie," Eva sighed as she flew over to them.
"Eva!" the two greeted as they looked over at her.
"Dad said you were coming," Connie said. "Look, my license." He showed her a certificate for him to go take teeth.
"That means you get to come into the human world more," Eva said. "How about you Dottie?"
"I am choosing a different path than taking teeth," Dottie answered. "School is boring anyways."
"She failed the entrance exam twice," Connie teased.
"Hey, we are about to have a serious conversation," Uncle Takahiro said. "You two get lost."
"Yes Dad," the two responded before leaving the house.
"Sorry about that, sir," Eva apologized as they went to sit at the table.
"No need to apologize," Aizawa assured as he put his hands up. "Let's get started. Chie Hassaikai, your niece and granddaughter said all the fairies left."
"It was when the horrible human started to make calls without the boss's clearance," Uncle Takahiro answered. "He would take good people behind closed doors, and they would never be seen again. Blood and tears were payment for our protection, but this jerk was draining us of them, abducting our people. "
"Uncle, do you remember a little girl named Eri?" Eva asked.
"Ah, the boss's granddaughter," Uncle Takahiro said. "Poor child, we tried to take her when fleeing, but that Chisaki."
"Granddaughter?" Aizawa asked. "From the information gathered, we heard that she was Chisaki's daughter."
"Chisaki is her foster dad," Uncle Takahiro answered. "But she is the old boss's granddaughter. Her mother abandoned her, due to her quirk, calling the girl a monster."
"Humans are very quick with that monster term," said Grandpa Yuno. "Thrown around so carelessly, hurting so many people with it."
"What is her Quirk?" Eva asked.
"Rewind," Uncle Takahiro answered. "Chisaki was to help the girl learn how to use it, but instead..."
"We know what he has been doing," Eva cut him off. "He's turning her body into bullets. One that takes a Quirk temporarily, when finished...he wants to erase Quirks altogether...It would be like taking away our magic." Her uncle and grandpa gasped in horror.
"We plan on rescuing the girl, but we need more information on Chie Hassaikai," Aizawa said. "Could you possibly provide us with that?"
"Of course," her Uncle Takahiro nodded. Aizawa jotted down what her Uncle was saying about Chie Hassaikai. They also learned that at first, the fairies were the ones to take care of Eri, it started off in the form of babysitting before her mother abandoned her. Since they were sworn to not take the child, there was no worry about Eri being abducted. They didn't know what Chisaki was doing to the little girl. When they learned the truth, they tried to take Eri away, but that erupted into a bloody mess. Chisaki went low and used iron. Soon it was time to leave.
"I appreciate you giving me this information," Aizawa said as they stood at the door.
"This man has manners," Connie said.
"Connie!" Dottie groaned as she made fireballs form in her hand.
"Cut it out," Eva ordered as hit them both with some wind.
"Come along children," said Grandpa Yuno crossing his arms. "This much energy leads to chores in the village." The two groaned.
"Come back soon!" Uncle said. "Can't wait to hear more about your hero's progress! We are counting on you! We all are, Eva!" She looked at him. "Promise me you will succeed in rescuing the child. Once you do, look after her. We failed to do so, so we are passing the responsibility onto you."
"Promise," Eva nodded. Soon they were back in the human realm, Eva had put her ring back on. they were heading over to the Nighteye agency. "Sorry if my family was any trouble."
"Do not apologize," Aizawa instructed. "It was a lot to take in, but we accomplished our mission."
"Mr. Aizawa, do you think those bullets would affect fairies with Quirks?" Eva asked.
"It's not worth the risk," Aizawa answered. "You have proven yourself greatly, you are a valuable asset...If so many Good people were taken by Chisaki, why haven't a body shown up?"
"Oh, that's simple," Eva answered. "When we die, our bodies dissolve into glittering dust. There can't be a report on a dead body when there isn't a body in the first place." She looked at her hand. " A flower is bloomed in our place; in the graveyard called Tomb Bloom."
"From what your uncle said about Eri...since she has no idea how her Quirks work. There will be a chance that she will have to come live on campus under my watch. It will be crucial for you to take care of her as well. If the Good People fought to free her, she is more likely to be trusting towards you." Eva nodded. "Remember you have been sworn to secrecy, not even Bakugo is to know about this." Eva nodded again. They then went off to the Nighteye agency to report the information. After reporting, Aizawa went back to school as Eva stayed at the agency. She had to do a few other things, all not required for her hero costume. All the information gathered was passed onto the other heroes on this mission, including the work-study students. By the time she got back to the dorms; only a few lights were on.
"You've been gone all day!" Iida shouted as he ran into the common room. "You missed dinner again!" He then stopped and stared.
"Sorry, Iida," Eva apologized as her face grew red.
"We waited up for you," Yaoyorozu said as she walked over to the tables. She looked over, her eyes went wide.
"What are you wearing?" Hagakure asked as she appeared behind Eva.
"More importantly, where were you?" Tokoyami asked. "You were gone before any of us woke up."
"Oh, these are my normal clothes for when I go to the Otherworld," Eva answered. "There was a family matter, but my absence should be excused."
"I was able to gather the homework you missed," Todoroki said as he walked in. "You can look at my notes if it helps." His face grew red when he looked at her.
"Greatly appreciated," Eva said. "I will look at it tomorrow." She looked over at the work-study students, all of them but Izuku nodded. The green-haired kid avoided eye contact.
***
The next day at lunch, Eva was sitting with some of her Class B friends, when she heard crying. She looked up to see Izuku breaking down at the table, the mission was beginning to overwhelm him for sure.
"Is everything okay with Midoriya?" Shiozaki asked.
"Not sure," Eva answered. "I haven't seen him this upset in so long." The day continued, and it was clear who was distracted that day. The work-study students on this mission.
On the second night of waiting, Izuku was in Eva's room, she was tending to her plants after class. He was lying in the hammock, reading a book.
"You never told me," Izuku said. Eva looked back at him. "About Shie Hassaikai...how come?"
"They are an organized group of criminals," Eva answered. "Not exactly a thing to bring up around someone who's been inspiring a hero their whole life."
"How could you just let them use your blood for bullets?" Izuku asked. "Didn't you feel any guilt? All those people have lost their lives. It took them years to figure out what was in the bullets, one situation even involved All Might. He could've been killed, along with the heroes that have been killed by fairy blood. Was it Kacchan that convinced you, or guilt that's been stored up to become a hero? I know you are a good person, but why would you do something so villainous?" Eva stopped working on plants, she felt tears build up in her eyes. Out of all the people to call her one. "Did you really hate humans that much to stoop so low to being a villain?" The tears welled up in her eyes and spilled out onto the plant she was tending to.
"I was eight, Izuku...it stopped when I was about 13 or 14," Eva said softly as she stopped tending to her plants, tears fell from her eyes."Dad isn't happy about it, he's ashamed of it. He wanted to live in the human world more, but he knew he would need protection and he knew very well that heroes were not about to help. From the positivity, we heard from my mom's friend...The Shi Hassaikai had the best offer."
"Are those villains the same reason you got into UA?" Izuku asked. "I need to know you aren't a villain infiltrating this place. If so, then you do not belong here, not here, and not in this realm."
"No," Eva said softly. "I got into this place through my own hands and hard work. I got help from Katsuki and you along the way. What's happening now is a way different case of what happened back then."
"Eri's blood isn't being used for payment, it's against her will, it's abuse," Izuku said as he looked over at her. He saw one of the plants had grown tall. Eva went over to the window.
"I know it's horrible, all of the Good People know it is horrible," Eva said as she wiped her eyes. "We need to save her."
"You being associated with this group is a huge shock," Izuku admitted. "How can we be so sure that you won't take Eri to the Otherworld, the moment you get the chance? You are a fairy, after all, it's in your nature to steal small children."
"Izuku," Eva breathed unsteadily, she looked back at him. Izuku was surprised to see that she was crying. He then realized all that he said to her.
"Eva," Izuku breathed as he started to get up. "I--"
"I'll drop out of UA if it makes you feel better," Eva said. "Maybe you and all those heroes are right, I don't belong here. But first, we are rescuing Eri." She stepped out. "Don't stay up for me." Eva then left, she flew around to Katsuki's room and opened the door.
"What the hell?" Katsuki growled as he sat up. "Do know you want to time it is, Eva?"
"I'm sorry," Eva said softly as she wiped her eyes. "Just scoot over."
"You have your own bed," Katsuki grunted as he sprawled out, Eva used her wing and pushed him to the side, he angrily sat up, looking at her. "Who the hell made you cry?"
"Forget about it," Eva said as she sat on the edge.
"Eva," Katsuki said. "Which bastard made you cry? Was it that purple ball freak? Or that brain-washing weirdo? Hell half and a half?" She remained silent. "Was it one of the girls?"
"I will handle the situation myself, just go back to sleep," Eva said as she laid down, putting a blanket over her, with her back to him.
"You are going to tell who made you cry tomorrow," Katsuki growled as he laid back down. "And then I'm going to kill that bastard." He went back to sleep, and Eva stayed awake a bit, as she was about to fall asleep, she got the text from Nighteye. She went and met the other work-study students in the common room.
"All right. You, too?" Kirishima asked.
"We got it," Tsu said as Urakaka nodded.
"It's happening," Izuku said.
"It's time," Eva said softly.

At breakfast in the morning, Eva was sitting next to Katsuki, she wasn't really touching her food, with all that was going through her mind. She got brought out of thought when she felt a finger poke her cheek. She looked to have food shoved into her mouth.
"You've been acting strange lately," Katsuki. "Today more than usual. I know you won't tell me what's going on, but I can tell it's big."
"I know it'll be late when I get home," Eva said. "But can you study with me?" Katsuki looked at her, he really did not look happy. Her voice came out as a whisper. "Please."
"Fine," Katsuki agreed before going back to his food.
*****
The heroes were now all at the Nighteye agency, taking in information before setting off to save the little girl.
"Huh?" Rock Lock asked. "They're keeping this Eri girl in their stronghold?"
"And by stronghold, you mean..."Fat Gum began.
"The headquarters of the Hassaikai," Ryukyu confirmed. "It's their leader's residence."
"So you're tellin' me all the time we spent investigating was for nothing then?" Rock Lock asked.
"Not at all," Nighteye denied. "We gained plenty of new information as well. "
"How'd you confirm she was there?" Fatgum asked. He held up a toy box, it had Gung-Ho! Glitter Squad 10!
"The girl's caretaker of the Hassaikai visited a nearby department store the other day," Nigheye answered. "He purchased a toy favored by young girls."
"What?" Fatgum asked.
"That's pretty sparkly," Rock Lock commented.
"Listen, maybe the guy just likes cutesy stuff," Fatgum said. "How can you be so sure he is her current caretaker? Different strokes for different folks, Nighteye. You wanna tell us what you're doin' with one, though?"
"Yes," Nighteye answered. "I've been having Yuki tail this guy for the past couple of days, each night or day he has a different toy when heading into the stronghold. This time I was there when he made the purchase and overheard his conversation with the store clerk."
"You ended up using Foresight anyway?" Rock Lock asked.
"If you recall, I said I'd use it when our path was more certain," Nighteye answered.
"Whatever, this means we've got the data we need, right?" Fat Gum asked.
"Yes," Centipeder confirmed. "And we know for sure when they'll be there thanks to our stakeouts."
"We also worked with the police and already got a warrant to search the place!" Bubble Girl informed. "Next step..."
"Is to barge in there!" Fat Gum finished.
"Aw, man! That's my line!" Bubble Girl exclaimed.
"Hey, Deku," Urakaka called out. "Eva." They looked over at her, Kirishima, and Tsu. They nodded at each other.
"Come on, Midoriya, Yuki," Mirio said. They looked over at him as Mirio began to grab everyone's attention. "We're all over this! Let's rescue that girl!" His arms were flying everywhere. take down some bad guys! Yeah!"
"What's with those moves?" Izuku asked.
"Hey, hey. Look!" Hado said as she tapped Amajiki. She giggled.
"Aw, yeah!" Mirio cheered as he threw a fist into the air. Everyone stared at them in silence, mainly at Mirio. The students took a minute to put on their costumes, then rejoined the pros.
"Now, then. Let's begin," Nighteye ordered. It was now eight am, and everyone stood in front of the police station. They went over the plan and where everyone was to be stationed. Eva was being placed at the back entrance with a few other heroes and police.
"As you know, Nighteye was able to use his Quirk on a Hassaikai member," a detective said. "Through it, he saw underground facilities, and we believe them to be this Yakuza group's headquarters. We were also able to confirm that the girl we are trying to rescue is currently being held in one of the rooms there. Although we were unable to map out the entire layout of the underground hallways, we believe the man Violet Gust has been tracking and Sir Nighteye saw took the shortest route to our target. This is the best intel we have at the moment, concerning the Hassaikai's stronghold. It's the basis of this mission. Stay smart. These guys are dangerous, and we can expect them to bring their Quirks against us, full force." He nodded at the police, then looked back at the heroes. "We're passing around a list of current Hassaikai members and their Quirks according to our registration databases. Commit this to memory."
"It's solid information to have on hand," Mr. Brave said. "Thank you for this."
"We don't wanna give them time to hide," the detective said. "Our aim is to identify and apprehend all members as quickly as possible while securing our target."
"Things are moving fast now, huh?" Kirishima asked.
"You're energetic, considering how early it is," Amajiki pointed out.
"I'm getting nervous," Urakaka squeaked.
"No joke, first detective work, and now we're cooperating with the police," Tsu said. "There's so much I don't know."
"Right?" Hado agreed. "So official!"
"That's true," Ryukyu confirmed as she walked over to her students. "Schools don't always prepare you for investigations like this. It takes some time to adjust."
"She's right," Kesagiri said.
"All the pros seem like they're pretty chill, huh?" Kirishima asked. "So brave!"
"Hey. I haven't seen Gran Torino around here this morning," Izuku said. "Do you know where he is?"
"Not a clue," Eva answered.
"Apparently, he won't be joining us today," Nighteye informed.
"Uh-Sir?" Izuku asked.
"Tsukauchi's been keeping an eye on the League," the detective informed as she walked in. According to him, it looks like they're on the move. Fortunately, we have plenty of heroes here, so we can afford to send Gran Torino."
"I see," Izuku breathed.
"Maybe we can take down the Hassaikai and the League of Villains at the same time!" Kirishima hoped.
"Oh, yeah!" Eva cheered.
"Let's go," Izuku said as he clenched his fist.
"Not yet," Aizawa said.
"Ah--Mr. Eraser Head, sir!" Izuku exclaimed.
"I'm teaming up with Nighteye Agency for this," Aizawa said. "Do you understand me?"
"Yes sir!" Izuku nodded.
"Now, heroes. Things could get violent quickly out there," the detective informed. "If you encounter even a hint of suspicious behavior or resistance, call for help immediately!"
"Here, take this swordfish," Fatgum instructed Amajiki. "Eat up."
"You think I'll need it?" Amajiki asked. "Okay, sure, thanks."
"We're up against gangsters who've avoided capture until now," the detective said. It is imperative that each of you carry out your respective assignments. And stay sharp in there." He and the police gave a salute. "We will commence the operation at 0830 hours. Heroes, move out!"
"Ev-I mean Violet Gush," Izuku said grabbing her wrist, Eva looked back at him. "Please be careful."
"I'll see you later, Deku," Eva said before taking off to her spot. Izuku frowned at the direction she went.
"Midoriya," Aizawa said getting him out of his thoughts. "Whatever is on your mind, push it aside and save it for later. You need to be focused."
"It's just I said I few things to Eva yesterday. It was way out of line," Izuku said. "I never said sorry either."
"I'm not sure what was said," Aizawa said as he scratched the side of his face. "Make it a good apology. For now, focus on rescuing Eri." He looked at Izuku. "Do keep in mind, Violet Gust was once a victim to what Eri is enduring, except she is getting rescued." Izuku gasped lightly.
****
Soon they were all in their positions. Eva was given an earpiece, with some of the others. That way they'll know when they can enter the place.
"Once they've read the warrant, then you're free to move!" the detective instructed. "I'm counting on everyone to act swiftly."
"What's with this guy?" Rock Lock asked. "Over here actin' like we don't know our jobs."
"You know that's not what he means, Rock Lock," Fat Gum said. "Give it a rest."
"The real problem is that these Yakuza bastards are good at livin' in the shadows," Rock Lock said. "They see all these heroes and the police, they might just disappear, especially if that fairy is actually on their side. I wouldn't be surprised by that."
"Go!" the detective shouted. "Operation has begun!"
"It's playtime fellas," a man said as some people stepped out of the building.
"I'll take care of this," a hero said as he stepped in front. He was chewing, and this blew a big bubble, letting it float over.
"Pathetic," the man said as he poked it, suddenly he was trapped inside the gum. The moment he got stuck, more men came tumbling out. All using their quirks, or just ready to fight. The hero group reacted quickly, fighting back including Eva. She got behind the guy trapped in a bubble.
"2 Canon shot!" Eva exclaimed as she activated her quirk, the bubble flew down the path, trapping numerous villains inside the gum. The heroes made sure to avoid it. There were a lot of gang members, more than Eva suspected. As they fought, they made their way further into the underground labyrinth. Once they cleared an area, they would enter a wall, it would get blasted, to reveal more enemies.
"Do you hear that?" Bubblegum Hero asked as they went to the next wall. "Sort of like a ticking sound." Eva listened closely. "Typing on a keyboard." Eva slowly looked up, on the ceiling were a ton of spider webs, giant ones.
"So many delicious meals," a voice said creepily, it was laughing creepy too. "Who to pick off first? A sweet gummy? Or something spiny...I think I'll go with plain!" It happened faster than Eva could predict, a person with spider characteristics shot down Eva pushed the officer aside, letting herself get pushed down a flight of stairs and into some random room. Eva rolled till she hit a wall. "I was really hoping to save the main course till later! But you can do, for now." Eva quickly got to her feet, and in front of her was a woman. She had eight eyes on her face, 4 arms, 4 legs, and was wearing a bird's beak.
"You shouldn't want to eat me," Eva answered. "Fairy Blood isn't good for you."
"Fairy Blood? Never had that before! Sounds yummy! What should I season you with?" the spider asked as she shot webs at Eva, she dodged them. "Vega would like to eat nice tonight." She laughed even more. As she spun more webs, Eva dodged them, she would blast some air, but Vega would dodge as well. She was being careful to avoid wherever the webs landed.
"Why are you working for someone as horrible as Overhaul?" Eva asked.
"He promises to free this world of illnesses! Hero syn--" Vega began to answer as Eva finally landed a hit. "Ah!" Vega slammed into the wall. "You brat!" a knife flew past Eva, cutting her cheek open.
"He plans on erasing quirks," Eva stated as she appeared behind Vega. "You wanna say goodbye to yours!" Vega turned around, just as Eva's foot slammed into her face, the mask broke in half as the spider flew back into the wall.
"Boss promised me a life!" Vega laughed as she backed up "A home! Nothing you can understand! All nine of us bullets were promised a place to belong after being thrown out by society. What does that brat mean to you?"
"Eri is a child! A person!" Eva argued. "She is not a weapon for you to rip apart and build!"
"She is the future for us outcasts!" Vega shouted as she punched Eva. "She is a cursed child! A monster! But she is the future! Master is going to cure this hero syndrome sick world!"
"Hero syndrome," Eva repeated as she got slammed into the wall. "Wouldn't he be considered one of the infected then!" She slammed her hand into Vega's stomach. "He's trying to save this world, the same way a hero would do. But in his own way twisted! And cruel!"
"He's not sick!" Vega shouted as she bared her fangs, hissing. "Master is the cure!" She slammed Eva back up against the wall, two legs pinning down Eva, sinking into her skin. Two arms held Eva's arms back, doing the same. "You probably taste better raw anyway." Eva activated her quirk, Vega's hands flew back as her legs held on fear for dear life. Eva let out a cry of pain as Vega's feet grabbed a tighter hold of her leg. Eva then took Vega's arm, and spun around, slamming her against the wall, breaking two arms in the process. Vega let out a scream of pain. Vega turned around angrily, scratching Eva right below her eye.
"Ah!" Eva grunted as she flew back.
"You brat!" Vega hissed as form started to seep out of her mouth. "You fiend! You wanna play dirty! Then we'll play dirty!" Vega shot out for webs Eva kept swerving dodging them." I'll drain your blood! I'll make Master happy! And then I'll keep you alive long enough, make you witness the tormenting of the cursed child!"
"If you wanna fight dirty, then stop missing," Eva said. "You are a horrible shot!" She sent a wind cannon, sending Vega crashing back.
"I like to go right for the juiciest parts," Vega smirked. "The heart!" She shot for webs Eva flew back dodging them. To find herself lodging into something sticky. With horror, Eva looked back to see that her wings had gotten stuck to one of the webs. "I normally like to share my meals with Tabe, but I'm feeling selfish today!" Eva looked forward to seeing Vega speeding towards her, licking her lips, knife in both hands.
'My nature is a bit cruel,' Eva thought to herself. 'I can't always escape it, by doing so I am ignoring who I am. Perhaps everyone in the Otherworld was right when they said I was ridiculous for aiming to be a hero. Fairies have no place saving a world that doesn't want them in it. A place that has only shown hardship since quirks showed up, is betrayal. Abandonment. Shigaraki is right, all those things will be a perfect start for a villain."
***Flashback***
9-year-old Eva came home from school crying, a bunch of classmates were not being the kindest.
"Eva," Dad sighed looking over at her. "Again?"
"Daddy," Eva sniffed. "Why? Why is everyone cruel? I want to fit in as much as someone without a quirk!"
"That's impossible," her dad said as he shook his head. "I know I find humans interesting, but you shouldn't try to fit in with them!"
"Then let's just go home," Eva said. "We don't belong here anyways, we are just villains!"
"Villains?" her dad asked as he flew over to her. "Why would you think that about us?"
"It's what everyone at school says," Eva sniffed as curled up. "Villains are one thing, but fairies are the devil. They bring bad luck, make sure to hide your kids. Everyone thinks I'm always going to curse them! I try to make friends as you suggested, but they all see me as a monster!"
"You are no monster," her dad said sitting next to her. "Sure you are a bit different than everyone else, but you are no monster, nor are you evil."
"Everyone at school says so though," Eva cried. "Even the teachers, I don't want to be evil."
"Eva, you are free to create your own path," her dad said as he pulled her into a hug. "If you want to be a good fairy, then be a good fairy. We don't live by the same laws as humans. But in order for you to create a path of good, you need to accept yourself for who you are. You want to fit in with the humans when you are a fairy. All the good people accept you, and if the humans don't accept you then screw them."
"I think you are talking to Ka-suki too much," Eva said lightly. "Sounds like something he'd say."
"Perhaps I am," her dad smiled. "My point is that you should strive to accept that you are Fair Folk trying to make it in the human realm. You are not obligated to fit in with them, and you are not obligated to be deemed evil just because they say so. What's that thing momma always said?"
"When life gets tough, just keep fluttering?" Eva asked.
"No, the other one," her dad said.
"If there isn't a road to follow, then create your own," Eva said.
"Be the person you need to be for yourself, then focus on being the person you want to be for others," Dad said. "She had a lot of inspirational words, didn't she?"
"I miss momma," Eva said.
"She misses you more," Her dad said, hugging her tighter.
*****Flashback over****
'We don't have the same rules,' Eva thought to herself as she began to activate her quirk. 'I will become a hero! Despite what everyone else says! Whether at UA or somewhere! My past may have been hard, but my heart is harder.' Heavily strong wind scythes left her wings, just as Vega jumped. The wind slices right through Bega's legs, cutting them all off. As Vega fell, she took Eva and spun slamming her into the ground.
"You may have taken my legs, broken my arms, tried to break my will," Vega growled as she held up one of Eva's wrists. "But my drive is stronger than yours! And from the look in your eyes, your will to fight has left!" She took out a knife and then skinned a section of Eva's arm. The inner wrist to the inner elbow. Vega put a hand over the fairy's mouth to prevent screams from being heard. "Fresh meat! Should have left this fight to the adults!" Vega showed her fangs. "Lunchtime." Vega sunk her teeth into Eva's wrist she began to suck in the blood. As the door finally opened from upstairs, Vega screamed as she flew back, going unconscious, blood was shooting out of her.
"What the hell happened?" Bubblegum asked as they stared at Eva. "We were to arrest not kill!"
"Vega was persistent on eating me, I warned her that my blood would kill her," Eva said as she began to get up. She fumbled in her pockets, then pulled out a tube."Why are you down here? You should be searching for Eri."
"Took longer than expected," Pine answered. "We should've been able to just take out those guys in no second." He ran over to help her up. "What is that for?"
"It's the antidote for fairy blood," Eva said looking back at Vega, the spider was twitching. She slowly made her way over to the spider. With some help from Bubblegum, they were able to capture Vega. After Eva inserted the medicine, Bubblegum trapped the spider in his gum. "Let's get back searching. "They made their way up the stairs.
"You shouldn't be fighting in your condition," Bubble Gum said. "With that arm injury, you will be dripping blood everywhere, in other words creating a path of poison for anyone attracted to blood."
"You have a point," Eva sighed as she leaned against the wall. The moment she did that enemies showed up on both sides. Eva faced her wings in that direction, then sent out a four-cannon blast, all of the enemies got swept away by the wind, being thrown into the wall at the end of the hall. "Sorry."
"We should apologize," Pine said as he patched up her arm. "It's true that a lot of us fear you for what you were. We should've been seeing the bonus of having you on the side of heroes." He finished the last bit on her arm. "Go on, we will take care of everything over here with the police." Eva got ready to go.
"Do you have a clue where you are going?" Bubblegum asked.
"No," Eva admitted. "But there are some familiar ones, so I will just use that as a lead. Be careful down here, make sure to get out safely." She then took off down the hall, all the maneuver practice with Sero was paying off. Each wall she came across, she would simply just blast it with her wind. One wall she knocked down, revealed a few enemies. "You wanna play hard or make this easy?" They cock their weapons. "Very well." Eva activated her quirk so the wind came off the edge of her wings, she then flew right through all of them, cutting them. Nothing too deep, but enough to keep them down. She then flew down the hall till she came across Rock Lock and Mimic, both on the ground. She landed by Rock Lock. "Rock Lock, are you alright?"
"I'll be fine," Rock Lock assured. "That crazy girl from the league stabbed me."
"The League," Eva gasped.
"Her and that other crazy Twice," Rock Lock added. "We are unaware of any other are here."
"The only other one is Mr. Compress at the moment," Eva said. "I think he is the only one."
"You think?" Rock Lock asked. "How can you be so sure?"
"During the encounters, I was able to pick up their scents," Eva answered. "Mr. Compress's scent is a bit far, so there's a chance he's not even in the building. Where did she stab you?"
"In the back," Rock Lock answered. "I'll be fine if I don't move." Eva looked behind to see where he was bleeding, she took out a vile. Eva focused on her magic; the creases in her hand started to glow teal. "Oh, hell no."
Eva assured as she uncapped it. "I'm not Recovery Girl, but this should help a little." She touched his back; they both watched as his wound stopped bleeding.
"It seems I have misjudged you," Rock Lock said as Eva stepped back.
"We will focus on that later," Eva said. "Trust is something that is built, not handed out. That little girl needs us."
"You better keep to your word on rescuing Eri," Rock Lock said.
"Promise," Eva nodded before taking off towards the others.

In a certain room, a merged Chisaki was heading toward Mirio, Eri, and Sir Nighteye. Suddenly, someone landed in front of them, and a blast of wind sent Chisaki through the terrain blasting into the wall.
"Violet Gust!" Izuku gasped.
"You are my least favorite type of hero," Chisaki said as he got back up. "All those laws...they weren't to protect you, not even a little. They were to protect these people infected with this filthy illness. You are on the wrong side, Evalina!" Eva gasped; no human should know her real name...for a split second, she could hear her mom's voice. " You of all people should be wanting Quirks to be erased! You traitor! Out of all the times you've been taken, not once did a hero come to your rescue! Traitor!" He charged towards her, and Izuku got in front of her as something hit Chisaki.
"Stand down, Deku and Violet Gust," Nighteye ordered as he rushed forward. "I'll deal with him!"
"Will you now?" Chisaki asked.
"You two look out for Lemillion and Eri!" Nighteye ordered.
"Understood, sir!" Izuku responded.
"What happened to Eraser Head?" Eva asked as they took off towards the other two. "I thought he was with you."
"He was," Izuku answered. "But one of Overhaul's opponents struck him."
"Did your lackey take him somewhere?" Nighteye asked.
"I'm interested in heroes who can erase Quirks, so he's been shown to the VIP room," Chisaki answered as he dodged Nighteye's attacks.
"You destroy other people's Quirks so cavalierly, but when the tables are turned, it frightens you," Nighteye said as he continued to attack. "If Lemillion's Quirk is lost forever does that mean you perfected the bullets and used one on him?" Eva's eyes went wide as they began to assist Mirio and Eri. "You deployed your prized weapon instead of sneaking it off to safety. Were you that frightened of my protege?" He dodged one of Chisaki's hands.
"Lemillion! Eri! How badly are you injured?" Izuku asked. "Do you think you can walk?"
"Yeah," Mirio said unsteadily. "No problem. I'm fine". "But I failed. You're sad again and it's my fault." Eva lifted Mirio with her wing, she knew he was going to have a bit of a hard time, he was hovering over Eri.
"C'mon," Eva said. "Let's go."
Izuku smashed a wall, creating a path. "I'm pretty sure this'll lead us back. We need to get away from Chisaki!"
Eri gasped. "No." They looked back at her. "That's enough." Tears fell from her eyes. "I'm so sorry." Eva saw there was blood on her fingertips from Mirio." They heard a horrible sound, they looked over to see Nighteye had a stone going through him.
"Sir?" Mirio breathed. "No!" Eva gently picked up Eri, the little girl hid in Eva, she was trembling. A hand touched her shoulder, she looked over to see Izuku, they nodded at each other.
"Let me see it!" Nighteye pleaded. Just as he was about to be crushed, Izuku smashed the possibility by jumping in front.
"Take her!" Izuku instructed looking back. "Get Eri to safety!" They nodded at him, Eva had Mirio lean on her as she held onto Eri, and they made their way down the hall. At some point, Mirio grabbed onto the wall for extra support. He fell over Eva caught him on her back. Eri was staring back at him with horror.
"Go on Violet Gust," Mirio instructed. "Get Eri out of here, forget about me, I will only slow you down. Eri, it's all good. Dozens of people are doing everything they can to save you. It's going to be alright. It's all good. You're gonna be okay?" A few bullets slammed into Eva's side, legs, and arm that was already bandaged, she dropped to the ground in complete pain. Her body was steaming Eri stared in even more horror. Suddenly, Chisaki's voice could be heard down the hallway.
"Someone else is about to die because of you!" Chisaki shouted. "Is that really what you want? Eri!"
"No," Eri cried jumping out of Eva's arms.
"Eri!" Eva and Mirio exclaimed as Eri ran down the hall, she stepped back into the battlezone. They heard footsteps, Eva looked up to see a man walking towards them.
"You good people are so strong until it comes to silver," the man said, he had a bird mask over his face with a weapon, he shot off another hitting Eva in the stomach, this caused Mirio to look at her. "Maybe I should try an iron bullet next."
"No," Mirio growled.
'That coward,' Eva thought to herself as she raised her wings. 'Fighting with silver and iron means they know they won't be able to win. It only shows how weak they are not their strengths.'
"What's the matter, Evalina?" the man asked. "You should be happy with fewer humans in the world, fewer quirks. Less so-called heroes to leave you feeling hopeless. Boss was the one to rescue you all those few times you were abducted." Eva's eyes went wide. " And this is how you repay him? This girl's body is your ticket to those laws being ripped away. You can have your freedom back for a bit before he turns your blood into bullets again."
"And what about Eri's freedom?" Eva asked.
"Evalina," the man. "She's the ticket."
"She's a person, I won't stop fighting till she is out of your clutches," Eva said. "If you know how my kind works, then you should know better than to toss around names so carelessly." Her quirk activated, and the man went flying back, crashing through many walls. Eva went to get up before falling back to her knees.
"Yuki," Mirio grunted.
"I'm going to be fine," Eva assured as she pushed up again. "You are going to be fine. We are going to rescue Eri."
"Help is on the way," Mirio said as he tried to hold it together more. "I know it is." Eva gently set him against the wall, she pulled out another vile of tears. "We will save Eri, that's what heroes do."
"Put this on your wound," Eva instructed. "It won't heal it completely, but it should stop the bleeding. Just hang in there a bit longer." She stood up, just to drop down again...the silver. 'Dammnit.' She then began to extract the silver herself, burning her fingers in the process. There was no stopping her tears, she looked over at Mirio. He was shakily trying to do as she told him. Eva moved him till he was flat on the ground and let her tears fall onto him.
***Meanwhile***
Eri was stepping into the room. "Wait." Izuku gasped as he looked back. "It's not...I don't want this!"
"Go back!" Izuku shouted. "You need to stay with Lemillion, Eri! Where is Violet Gust!"
"She got hurt because of me," Eri sniffed. "She got hurt just like all those good people did because of me." Izuku's eyes went wide.
"Eri," Chisaki spoke creepily. "Look at him, injured and alone. You don't really think he can defeat me, do you?"
"No, I don't," Eri said as she looked down.
"Smart girl," Chisaki said. "So then, what do you supposed you should do?"
"I'll come back," Eri answered as she looked up. She began to walk forward. "But if I do. I want you to make them all better again!" Chisaki lowered his arm.
"Ah, yes, it's so much easier to be hurt yourself than to watch while others are hurt for you, isn't it?" Chisaki asked. "The faint flicker of hope Lemillion gave her has been extinguished. Don't you see? You think you're helping her, but you're really just cruel. She doesn't want you."
"Maybe what he said is true," Izuku growled as he removed a stone from his leg. "Maybe you think you don't want my help, but I won't let you down, Eri. I'm not letting anyone die! I'm going to save you!" He crushed the stone piece." The ceiling caved in Ryukyu, Urkakaka, and Tsu came in with Rikiya. Suddenly, they saw Mr. Compress sliding into the place.
"The League of Villains!" Ryukyu gasped.
"Uravity, look!" Tsu called out.
"Nighteye!" Urakaka exclaimed as soon as she saw the hero.
"Take care of him," Izuku ordered as he ran forward. "Go on!" The ground below Eri, went up, throwing her into the air. "Chisaki!"
"You filthy heroes screwed everything up!" Chisaki growled as he rose high into the air.
"She's coming with us!" Izuku exclaimed as he jumped up. He reached his hand up towards Eri. Chisaki and Eri stared up at the torn part of Mirio's cape. It was flying through the air. Eri jumped over Chisaki, grabbing onto the cape. She stared over the edge at Izuku as he made his way up to her. She then jumped over the edge, trusting Izuku would catch her.
"Got you," Izuku said as he held her. "I won't let you go." Her quirk had activated.
"Give her back!" Chisaki shouted as he slammed one hand down while reaching out with another. He destroyed the pillar he was on, and Izuku dodged all the attacks flying toward him. Suddenly, there was a strong shock wave sending the three into the air.
"In order to realize the old man's greatest wish, I need you. Eri," Chisaki said as he stared up at the sky.
"Not good," Ryukyu frowned.
"You needn't worry," Sir said, Tsu was helping him sit up. "You four are safe. At least for the time being. He's not going to target any of us. He'll head to the surface in pursuit of Midoriya. And Eri. Then he'll kill Midoriya. And escape."
Urakaka gasped; she began to run forward. "We can't let him!" She then fell to her knees.
"I foresaw it," Nighteye said.
"We can't just sit here and do nothing!" Ryukyu exclaimed as she got ready to fly.
"Given the shape you are all in, you cannot stop him," Nighteye said. "I'm sorry."
"That doesn't matter," Urakaka said as she activated her quirk. She got back on her feet. "I have to do something and help him. There is no future except the one you create." She dropped to her knees as Chisaki finished merging into his new form.
"Froppy," Sir said.
"Ribbit?" Tsu responded.
"You got help Mirio and Yuki," Sir instructed. "They are on the other side of the wall. Uravity. Ryuku. I need your air. Take me to the surface."
****
On the other side of the wall, Eva had Mirio up on his feet, slowly they were making their way down the hall.
"Violet Gust! Lemillion!" a voice shouted. Eva looked back to see Suneater with a couple of police.
"Suneater," Eva breathed.
"What happened?" Amajiki asked as he took Mirio.
"Overhaul used a finished product on Mirio," Eva answered. Amajiki gasped along with the police. "We need to hurry and get to Eraserhead." They made their way to a room. Just as Chronostasis was about to stab Aizawa. Amajiki's hand turned into a swordfish, the sword part stopping the act.
"You're Kurono, right?" Amajiki asked. "I know how your power works, so don't even try to use it on me. Take him."
"Don't move!" an officer shouted. "Resistance is useless!" he growled angrily.
"Suneater!" Tsu shouted as Eva went inside the room, she helped her teacher onto his feet. "Thank goodness. I'm glad he's okay."
"Froppy. What's happening?" Amajiki asked.
"Deku's fighting!" Tsu revealed. Eva carried Aizawa on her back, as they made their way back to the surface. Eva carefully used the last of a vile, carefully putting it on Aizawa's wound. Froppy was helping to make sure he didn't fall off.
"What's the situation?" Ryukyu asked as she reached the top. Helping others to the surface, as Eva just flew up.
"I got Nighteye to a safe place!" Urakaka revealed as she had Chisaki pinned down. "We've ordered the civilians to evacuate the area. Deku's fighting Chisaki! But something seems off!" Eva looked over to see Izuku was being overcome by Eri's quirk.
"Ribbit," Tsu breathed, she lifted Aizawa's head so he could look over Eva's shoulder. Once his quirk activated, Eri's quirk stopped, she slumped forward and Izuku caught her.
"It's over," Urakak sighed.
"Thank goodness," Amajiki breathed, then looked down at Mirio.
