Instead of going back to my house I walked with Henry back to his house. Actually his place wasn't that far away from mine and really looked like every other one on the block. He took out a keyring and unlocked the front door to let us in, being a gentlemen the whole time. He was even gracious enough to show me around and make me a little something to eat. Then I knew, Henry wasn't a bad person, he was simply special.

As he was making dinner he kept asking me about my parents. Whether or not they would come looking for me and believe what their eyes see or if they just take me out of the house. To reassure him I told him my parents will notice that I'm gone but I'll call them and tell them I'm staying with Mary and James. Once we calmed down he served a plateful of crepes and fried eggs, crispy bacon and orange juice. Henry had some perks, let me tell you.

Later he led me down to this large room they called a home theater room and let me choose a movie. So for a while we were watching the new Terminator movie and he brought me some popcorn. The night ended after the credits were rolling and he let me sleep on his couch while he went to bed himself. Last thing I did was promise him that if my parents did find me here I would lead them away then face the consequences.

For the first time away from my parents it was pure bliss, and he was a wolfblood. It was like a story that seemed too good on paper then has a surprising twist in the end. This was one of those stories.

I wake up to find a note sitting in front of a plate full of baked biscuits. At first I bypassed the note and went straight for the breakfast that makes my mom's special breakfast days meager. After I had downed three biscuits I noticed the note and read the cleanly written letters.

Went out. Henry

By now I am freaking out because this could mean he's on the run or most likely captured by my parents. Either that or he finally decided what to do about his family and was making his way back to his parents in Minnesota. Tremoring with panic I not only downed a few more biscuits but then I decided to follow him. Just to keep my mission still to make sure he doesn't wolf out.

Changing back into my clothes from yesterday I head outside and try to catch his scent. Aha! I started heading north, and when I reached the treeline I transformed into my wolf. That way I could travel faster and if I did encounter him or my parents I would be ready for the attack. I had no idea what to expect, and soon enough I found what I had been searching for, miles and miles away from home there was Henry.
