i wanted to punch him and understand him at the same time

VICTORIA PAUSED AS she spotted a dead body in the living room, drying blood all over his back. She quickly looked away when she noticed he was butt naked.

Bill walked into the room, looking between Tori and the dead body. "Yeah, I suppose I should have mentioned that."

Sookie walked into the room, her eyes widening at the sight of the dead body before briefly glancing at Bill. "There is an old tarp out back." He nodded and left the cousin's to stare at the dead body. Sookie walked over to it and moved him onto his back with her foot. She jumped and awkwardly covered the male's private area with the towel she was holding.

Tori cleared her throat and looked away. "Please tell me you didn't forgive Bill for what he did."

Sookie turned to her cousin quickly. "Of course not!" She scoffed and shook her head. "He kept a secret file about me, and then almost killed me."

Tori nodded and said, "good. What he did wasn't right and he hasn't really apologized."

Before anything else could be said, Bill walked back into the room, holding the tarp. Sookie held out her hands and they laid the tarp on the floor by the dead body.

"Just once, I'd like to not find a dead body in our house," Sookie commented, glancing to Tori as her and Bill picked up the dead body and laid it on the tarp. "Is that asking too much?"

Bill huffed as he started to cover the body. "Sookie, he was sent to kill you. The both of you. If I didn't kill him, he would have come back for you. You have to trust me. Don't you?"

Sookie looked down as she stood up. "I can't trust you, Bill. You kept things from me, things I had every right to know."

"Like what?" He asked dumbly and Tori let out a loud scoff, glaring at him.

"You and Stefan think you're entitled to take photos of an unknowing girl, stalk them, and then 'accidentally' bump into them, and make them fall in love with you." Yes, Tori considered Stefan a friend, but she will never forgive him for what he put Elena through. "She's talking about that fucking file you have on her."

Sookie nodded, pointing to Tori in agreement. "You know, the one Russel Edgington showed me. Birth certificates, family trees, newspapers about me. He said it's yours."

Bill looked down before nodding meekly. "It's true. I gathered these information to find out why Eric Northman has such unusual interest you." He glanced to Tori. "The both of you."

"Wait, what?!" Tori exclaimed before she ran a hand through her hair. "You stalked me, too?!"

Bill stood up and sighed loudly. "I didn't even know about you until you showed up. I happened to overhear one of your conversations about someone named Katherine who looked like you. I dug some stuff up, and it seems as though she had some business with Edgington about a hundred or so years ago. She wanted a powerful being on her side, but she manipulated and betrayed him, so he killed someone she cared about."

She bit the inside of her cheek as she began pacing back and forth. "So... not know is he wanting to go after Sookie, once he finds out about me, if he already hasn't, then he'll go for those I care for." Tears stung in her eyes as she glared at Bill. "Do you have any idea what I have already been through because of Katherine?! She keeps ruining my life!"

Bill gave her a sympathetic look. "Russell took Eric off into his office, talking about something called the Sun and the Moon curse, amongst other things. Eric got real jumpy after that, and seemed to flip a switch."

Tori stopped her panicking at the mention of Eric. Maybe he was trying to protect her, to distract Russell. She didn't know, but she had to find out or else she will go insane.

Sookie placed a hand on her cousin's shoulder, giving her a look. "I will do my best to protect you, Tori. I won't let anything else happen to you."

Bill looked between them. "I had to know everything or else I wouldn't be able to protect you, Sookie. The both of you."

Tori snapped and marched up to him, breathing heavily. "What you did was disgusting and creepy!"

"She's right," Sookie stated and crossed her arms. "And FYI, we can protect ourselves. We took care of Debbie ourselves. I'm not afraid to spill a little blood anymore."

Tori nodded. "I have killed and even though everything tells me not to do it, I know nothing will stop the possibility of it happening again." She sighed and rubbed her eyes harshly. "The world is painful and cruel, and we just have to change a little to meet it halfway."

AFTER HADLEY ENDED up calling them, she asked them to meet someone special, so they dropped cleaning the house from the attack, and met her at the aquarium.

They found the blonde with a little dark-headed hot at a fish tank.

Sookie frowned and called out, "Hadley?!"

Tori frowned as Hadley made her way over to them. "Oh, my god. Is that who I think it is?"

Hadley was shaking on the spot, looking out of it. "I took him at the daycare. His dad don't know." Sookie tilted her head and have the other blonde a look. "I haven't seen my son for over a year.

Sookie sighed loudly, biting her lip. "Sweet, you're gonna loose him for good if you don't bring him back."

Hadley looked down the hall and behind her before facing Sookie and Tori. "Did anyone follow you?"

Victoria grabbed Hadley gently by the shoulders, trying to get her to focus and stop shaking. "Hads, whatever you're not telling us, now is the time. We can't help you if you don't say anything.

The blonde with bangs began to nod her head quickly, beginning to freak out even more than she already was. "Okay, okay. Shit! I've screwed it up. I've got involved with a vampire." Botj Sookie and Tori nodded, urging her on. "Her name is Sophie-Anne. She is the Vampire Queen of Louisiana."

Sookie and Tori both blanched and the blonde said, "The— Are you kidding me?"

"I told her things," Hadley mumbled, "I talked about you... and powers you've got."

Sookie pursed her lips as Tori glanced back at Hadley's son who was still staring at the fish. "Why would you do that?"

Tears shone in Hadley's eyes. "I didn't think anything over, but then suddenly she's got interested. And now, I think Russel Edgington is interested. Shit!" She exclaimed, and then breathed in deeply, glad that no one else seemed to be in the area. "It's my stupid fault if all these vampires are after you!"

Sookie gripped Tori's hand for comfort. "What do they want with me?"

"They... They don't think like regular people," Hadley admitted, glancing between them with wide, regretful eyes. "I don't know the half of things they do. But just, now you have to get out of Bon Temps. Please," she begged.

"We'll find a place to lay low," Sookie told her with furrowed brows. "Why haven't you left?"

Hadley then glanced at her son with weary eyes. "Hunter, sweetie. Come say hi to your aunt Sookie and Victoria." She then glanced at the blonde. "Sook, I need to know if he is like you. Please. If he is, I've got to protect him." She turned back to her son who hadn't moved from his spot. "Hunter, come on sweetie. Come on baby!"

Hunter tentatively began walking towards them. his hands on his stomach, entwined. He wasn't speaking, but by the look on Sookie's face, the blonde was reading his mind.

Sookie leaned forward to get eye-level with him. "It's okay. We don't have to talk." She walked him over to the big tank, and sat him in the bench, sitting beside him.

They seemed to be having a conversation with one another, and that made Tori release a shaky breath. "Oh, no..."

Hadley let out a whimper, "Oh, sweet Lord! No!" She ran over to her son, taking his hand, and began to run off. "Come on. We have to go!"

Sookie stood up and Tori watched with watery eyes as the desperate mother basically dragged her son off. "Where are you taking him?!"

Hadley barely glanced back. "I've got some friends. The less you know, the better." She glanced down at her son with wide eyes. "Come on, baby!"

Hunter looked back at them: "She knows! She knows!"

"Come on!" Hadley shouted as they disappeared around the corner.

WHEN SOOKIE PULLED Bill into Jason's house, Tori was quick to bombard him with questions. "Do you know the Queen of Louisiana?"

Bill frowned, confused, but answered, "Yes, I was her subject."

Sookie sighed. "We saw our cousin today, and she says she used to be with the Queen. And now the Queen is working out with Russel to come after me and anyone else like me. Do you know anything about that?!"

Bill briefly nodded. "I think I know what they want to you."

"Why didn't you say anything?!" Sookie exclaimed, getting tired of being left in the dark, especially by the one person she once trusted with everything in her.

"I only learnt it today," he said, glancing between them. "I'm not entirely sure of what it was or even how I've got there. But also it was because I drank so much of your blood. Sookie, I know what you are."

IT WAS A few minutes later after Bill explained to Sookie what she was. Tori was in shock as she stared at the vampire, all her knowledge about the supernatural world going out the window.

Sookie breathed out, "I'am a fairy?" When Bill nodded, she then cursed, "How fucking lame!"

Tori snorted at that, loving her cousin even more for just that.

Bill rose a brow. "Fairy is but one of the names."

"What other names are there?"

Bill started to name them off, "Finodrerr. Ellyllon. The Old People." He hesitated and Tori narrowed her eyes at him. "Aliens."

Sookie took in a deep breath. "God fucking damn it! I really am an alien," she mumbled, standing up and glancing over at Tori who was just as shocked as her.

"Only part," he told her, wanting to make sure she knew exactly what she was. "You're mostly human. Apparently, a Fae coupled with one of your female ancestors."

"Coupled?"

Bill nodded. "The Fae were known for breeding with humans. Sometimes against the human's will."

"My people are rapists?!" Sookie exclaimed, her eyes wide as she ran her hands through her blonde hair. "How do you know all this?"

Bill hesitated slightly before saying, "One of them called 'Claudine' told me."

Sookie furrowed her brows, her eyes displaying shock at the name, meaning she knew who he was talking about. "Claudine? Where were you when you...?"

"Bon Temps Cemetery. Only it... It was someplace else. And it was day," he said before quickly adding, "But it wasn't painful, it was beautiful."

"What there a pond?"

"Wait... what are you talking about?" Tori asked, confused about what they were talking about.

Sookie sighed, biting her lip. "When I was in the hospital, I thought I had died, but I was actually in another realm of sorts. It was bright and there was so many beautiful people. It all glowed." She then glanced at Bill before taking a step back. "Claudine told me you would take my light."

Bill nodded, looking guilty. "She's afraid for you, and with good reason."

Sookie tilted her head. "What reason is that?"

"Every supernatural I have ever met believes the Fae were wiped out of existence by vampires," he explained briefly and Tori began pacing back and forth with all the new information.

"Why do people think they were wiped out by vampires?" Sookie asked, crossing her arms over her chest. "And if you don't tell me the truth, Bill Compton, I swear to God I will know it."

Bill sighed as he saw the distrust from both women. "According to legend, fairy blood is delectable and intoxicating to vampires."

"That's why he drank from you and didn't stop!" Tori exclaimed loudly, pointing at Bill.

He nodded in agreement. "Yours is the most delicious blood I have ever tasted. That's all I know. I believe having your blood is what allowed me to get to whatever dream state where I met Claudine."

"I'm pretty sure Claudine hated you in that other place," Sookie spat out, pursing her lips. "Why would she tell you anything at all?"

"I told her my only intention was to protect you."

Sookie scoffed. "And she believed you?"

Bill nodded, as if to point out that they should too. "She did."

"No way in hell," Tori spat out, huffing.

Sookie swallowed thickly and she stuttered out, "If... If my blood is so delicious, does that mean your feelings for me are based on...?"

Bill quickly shouted, "No!" He blanched as he realized he sounded defensive. "Oh, it definitely drew me to you at first. But we grew into something much deeper."

"Cut that bullshit," Tori spat out. "You stalked her, and then you almost killed her. Do you honestly think that she's going to forgive you easily due to this new information?"

Sookie sighed, she wanted to believe him, but things could've ended differently if she didn't save his life or didn't feed from him. Maybe their attraction was mostly from the blood. There is no denying that she loves him, but she couldn't help but think about Alcide. They almost had an immediate attraction, and without blood sharing. He was there, protecting her while Bill was off doing god knows what.

Sighing, Sookie walked towards the couch and sat down. "I think I need to take a nap. My head hurts too much to think right now."

VICTORIA SAT UP, her eyes peeling open as she had, yet, another nightmare about killing Connor. She placed her hand over her erratic beating heart and turned to Sookie who had just woken up too, giving her a look of concern.

But, before either could say anything, they heard voices outside.

One of those voice made Tori shiver in delight before she scowled, steadying her face and heartbeat. She and Sookie glanced to each other before quietly walking towards the front door where they could see an outline of Bill and Eric talking.

"I'm trying to save Victoria and Sookie," Eric spoke, clenching his jaw. He wanted nothing else to make sure his girlfriend — if she still considered herself that — was safe and sound, especially in his arms. But first, he needs to deal with the mess he made by killing Eddigton's husband, Talbot. And he needed to keep Eddington from finding out who Tori looks like or things will get messier quicker than any of them wants it to.

Bill scoffed. "Oh, give me a break. You don't care about Victoria or Sookie. You left us in Russell's house to die. And you haven't checked in on Victoria. What is the fucking truth, for once?!"

Victoria swallowed thickly. She wanted to be angry at Eric, to yell, to punch him, but when she saw the look on his face — pure concern, love, and protectiveness, she knew she would have to hear him out first before making a rash decision.

Eric rolled his eyes, trying to ignore the jab about his älskling. Darling. "The truth? Well, why don't you tell Sookie the fucking truth, if you really love her?"

That's when Sookie and Tori revealed themselves, stepping out on the porch. "What truth?" The blonde asked.

Bill looked over at her, sighing. "The truth about what you are, which I've already told you."

Sookie nodded and then turned her attention to Eric who was staring at Tori with relief in his eyes. "Why are you here? To pretend like you care about Tori's safety? Or my safety for the fact? So you can sell me out to Russell again, or is it to the Queen this time?" She scoffed and then gestured to Tori who had her arms wrapped around her waist, trying to keep a distance between her and Eric. "Do you even know what Tori has been though the past week?" She then rolled her eyes and clenched her jaw. "I don't even know why I asked, I know you don't. If you cared about her, you would've been there for her!"

Eric didn't take his eyes off of Tori who wouldn't dare to meet his gaze. His heart broke as he felt the pain and hurt coming from their connection. "I..." He trialed off before glaring over at Bill. "You really believe he is trustworthy?"

Sookie scoffed at that. "All I know is I sure as hell can't trust you. And now that I know what I am and what you want from me, I can promise you will never get it."

Now it was Eric's turn to scoff. "I don't want anything from you, blonde." He took in a deep breath before saying, "You know what? Do what you want. I won't be around much longer anyway." He put all his attention on the one thing he cared for most in this world. "Jag tar hand om dig mer än du tror, älskling." I care for you more than you think, sweetheart.

And just like that, Eric was gone, and Tori slid to the ground, tears falling from her eyes. "I don't—" She bit her lip as she looked up at Sookie who bent down in front of the brunette. "Should I even be angry at him? It's not like he knew what was happening and it seems as if he was busy. Maybe—"

"If he cares for you as much as he says, he would've been there," Bill spoke and that angered the doppelgänger.

"Shut up!" She shouted as she stood up, glaring at him, brown eyes full of hatred. "Don't you dare say something like that when you hurt Sookie the way you did. And don't even get me started on the stalking thing. I had to deal with that when Stefan came to town, lying to my sister about why he wanted to be with her. You and him — you're both disgusting. Stalking girls and then making the fall in love with you so much they feel like they owe you something." She breathed in deeply. "What Eric and I have is different!" She looked between Sookie and Bill before scoffing and storming into the house, and up the stairs.

Once she got to her room, she opened up she phone, and called Caroline, the one person who would understand what she was going through.

AFTER JASON ARRIVED with a distraught Tara, Sookie and Tori tried to comfort as best as they could. But, their friend needed rest, so she went to Jason's room to sleep it off.

Jason was crying as he sat on the couch, trying to explain what had happened, "Franklin was coming after her. And I just... I fired. One minute he was there, and the next... he was just a big old pile of..."

Sookie grabbed her brother's hand. "You listen to me. Franklin hurt her worse than you and I can imagine. You saved her life."

Tori nodded in agreement. "What you did was the thing that needed to happen."

Jason shook his head. "No, I didn't."

Sookie gently squeezed his hand. "Look, I know how awful it is to kill someone, but you have to remember—"

"But I shot Eggs," he interrupted her, and both Sookie and Tori took in deep breaths. "He was coming after Andy with a knife. And I shot him. Dead. And I didn't tell you both because before I even had time to think, Andy took over, and I ran. And I didn't know which lies to tell you or Tara. So, I didn't tell you any."

Tori swallowed thickly and laid a hand on his knee. "Tara's gotta know. People always find out, and it hurts them ten times more. Trust me."

Jason scoffed and gestured to Sookie. "Like with Eggs, huh? You told him the truth, and look what happened." Sookie made a face which Jason swallowed at. "I'm good at protecting people. It's like the only thing I do right, and that's what I'm doing."

"You're not protecting her," Tori stated with a shake of her head. "You're lying to her."

Jason shook his head. "And they ain't always so different."

"Yes, they are."

He turned to his sister. "How would you know, Sook? No one can keep anything from you."

The blonde took in a deep breath. "Vampires can."

SOOKIE AND VICTORIA bursted through Eric's office door, coming to a stop right behind him. Tori took in a deep breath as she saw his hunched figure, his back to them.

Pam stopped at the doorway, hands on her hips. "They insisted."

Eric sighed. "They always do." He motioned for Pam to leave, and she did, closing the door behind her.

It was quiet for a second before Tori broke it, "What did you mean, you're not gonna be around much longer?"

Eric closed his eyes. "Don't pretend you care about me." That made Tori gasp at his sad tone. "I can feel the regret and hate in our bond. You don't want me anymore."

Tori shuddered, her heart breaking. She hated the thought of him thinking he was useless and wasn't loved. "That's not true, Eric. I... I am just hurt and confused, and I—" She stopped short when he stood up and made his way to her. He was inches away from her, and she swallowed thickly, feeling her heart pound against her chest. "I would never hate you, Eric. It's quite the opposite, really. And that's why I'm hurt that you weren't there for me through the worst few days of my life."

Eric leaned his head down closer to her before backing away. "You're not here for that, are you?" He glanced over at Sookie. "You know you shouldn't trust Bill."

"Damn right," Tori mumbled to herself, trying to collect herself. Between her heart pounding, thoughts racing, and the urge to kiss Eric right now, she needed to calm down and talk about why they were there in the first place.

"Well, here's the truth. There are forces beyond even my control. If I meet the true death without spending the last few seconds with the girl of my dreams, that would be my biggest regret," he spoke, looking Tori directly in her eyes.

Tori frowned, her heart clenching. "Why does it sound like you're saying goodbye to me?" Her voice broke off, and tears began to build in her eyes.

"Because I am." He pulled her towards him by placing a delicate hand on the back of her neck, and the other on her back. He leaned down and their lips connected, making Tori lose her breath. Her hands flung up to wrap around his neck, and she stepped closer to him, pressing their lips together even more. They couldn't get enough of one another.

They were interrupted when Pam opened the door, clearing her throat which made them break apart, breathing heavily.

Sookie scowled as she pulled her cousin into her arms, raising a brow at the brunette who blushed and raised her fingers to her lips.

Eric glared at Pam. "What?"

She sighed and tilted her head. "Blah, blah, vampire emergency, blah."

Eric briefly glanced at Tori before leaving his office, closing the door behind him.

"Are you serious?!" Sookie exclaimed as she stared at her cousin in disbelief. "I thought you were mad at him."

"I can't stay mad at him," Tori mumbled, looking down at the floor. "He's the first person I have ever had feelings for, the only one that made me feel special, and like I didn't look like anyone else."

Sookie sighed and brought her into a hug. "I just think you deserve better, but I can't stop your heart from feeling what it feels."

IT WAS MAYBE fifteen or so minutes later when Eric finally returned to his office, looking out of it. His facial expression was guarded, and he was more tense than he was before.

Sookie crossed her arms. "Where the hell have you been?"

Eric looked down. "I needed to think."

Sookie glared at him as she kept a grip on Tori's hand. "We're not some kind of prisoner you can just lock up any time you feel like taking off."

Eric's eyes showed guilt right before he said. "Actually, you are." He sped forward and flung them over his shoulders, ignoring their yells in protest. Though, Tori shouting at him with hurt in her voice broke his undead heart.

"Let us go!"

Eric made his way down to the basement, both girls still shouting curses at him.

"I told Tori to not trust you!" Sookie screamed out which made Eric falter for a second before continuing. "You're nothing but a disgusting monster who doesn't deserve to have a loving person like her!"

"You were right," Eric mumbled, but Tori overheard him which made her own heart break.

He placed them on the dirty floor, being more careful with Tori, and then placed collar's around their necks. He gave Tori one last look before leaving them, her screams and shouts hurting him more than any weapon could.

"Eric!" Tori screamed, tears running down her cheeks, as she desperately tried to claw the collar off of her.

What she didn't know was that Eric was trying to find every possible way for her to not be hurt in the process of what was about to go down. If Russell was to find her, who knows what would happen, and he wasn't willing to allow the one thing he cares about most to be hurt.
